Your staff did a wonderful job. most of the items i was looking for were available and affordable. i do intend to make return trips.

Its very clean here and they keep the store pretty organized. Customer service is the best out of any other Target store in the Twin Cities. The only thing I dont like is that theyre only open until 6 pm everyday & its mostly because people want to sit outside the store and cause trouble and because of the rioting that happened last year.

Easy process, quick pick up in store. Makes it easy to order over the weekend and pick up at a convenient (walkable) location when Im back at work during the week.

I wouldve given fewer stars if not for the gentleman that redeemed our experience. We wanted a product that we knew was in the back so we asked the only person in the area. The girl who was working the toys area (she had curly brown hair) said she needed numbers and couldnt do anything without the numbers. She wasnt even willing to go look in the back even though we told her we knew it was there since a friend of ours was there earlier. We went to electronics and found a young gentleman who was working a cart if he knew anything about the product. He didnt ask any questions just went to the back and came out with the product. I wish I had gotten his name but we are grateful for his help.

This store is great, the city needs to do a better job at controlling loiterers that hangout on 9th street.

I had an online order recently from this branch and the target.com rep was helpful in tracking down our delivery & driver who was running late. Target was able to get our groceries to us in the end quickly & the rep sent us an e-gift card as a thank you for our patience. We appreciated their punctuality & thoughtful gesture of customer consideration.Target has saved us a lot of time in general with their online deliveries which they can get done on the same day. It is much faster & more convenient than most other grocery store delivery companies we have used so far. They aren’t like Amazon who delivers your orders to random neighbors who you have to search around for. Target works with Shipt who aims to get groceries direcrly to your door & if there’s any issue, you can text or call a live Target rep. What’s cool is they also offer a trial delivery service & let you cancel when you want by contacting them.Overall we are glad about the service & would recommend Target’s online delivery service to others! Especially for elders who know how to operate a smart phone app, or those who just have really busy lives & don’t have time to go shopping.

I always enjoy going to Target in the skyway. It reminds me of when all of the different stores & restaurants were there. Ahhhh, good times😉

Nice, big store with a little bit of everything. You’ll probably find whatever you’re looking for, although maybe not the exact brand. The selection is more wide than deep. Nice personnel but a somewhat strange checkout solution.

This is a very down to earth store and the employees all were friendly. For a minute I forgot I was Downtown. And lets not forget Starbucks- located inside for your convenience. Ill make sure to stop by next time Im hear. Love Your Community ❣️💙❤️

For a downtown Target this Target is well above average. It’s both street and skyway accessible. They have a full grocery selection from fresh fruit to frozen foods. They cover everything a typical Target store would handle. They also offer a Target Optical. They have a Starbucks on skyway level and a full liquor store on the street level. The store generally has a local selection that ranges from Minnesota grown flowers in the summer, Minnesota and Minneapolis themed clothing, all Minnesota sports teams apparel and accessories. They have limited cashiers but a large amount of self checkout registers. Parking is limited in the area.

Clean store, efficient layout, and pretty good selection for downtown. Obviously a downtown Target wont have the full inventory of a suburb Super Target but this location has a great selection. The street level floor is food, everyday items, mens clothes and electronics. The second floor is womens clothes, Health and Beauty and Home & Living. Great layout. The self checkout is great!

Ive always enjoyed this store because its closest to my apartment, but the early 6pm close is getting old. There is absolutely no reason to continue closing it early, the store would get more sales if it were open later.

Good location, but seriously needs some control over loitering. Being begged for money on my way in, and then again on my way out of the store, while navigating through a group of people yelling, fighting, smoking pot, or all of the above are pretty normal for this Target. I know its right down town, but sheesh.

I have a love hate relationship with target. I like how they are a one-stop shop, BUT the stores by me are not good at keeping up on inventory, nor do they know how to stock their shelves in a way that is conducive to the shoppers. I have visited all 3 stores closest to me and have the same problem. Stockers are blocking multiple aisles so you cannot get down them, and the aisles you can get done are out of stock in what I am trying to buy. I try to support local brick and mortar stores, but every time I visit I just think I should have done a competitors click list or Amazon. I have tried contacting twice, but they never reply. They obviously don’t prioritize the shoppers experience. The pictures are from 1 visit!!!

Wow. Really nice remodeling job. Nice open feeling. Two floors of merchandise and food nicely presented. Parking garage under the store is free if you spend $20 or more. Else like $8 on up. Nicest Target Ive ever shopped at. Interconnected with other stores via overhead skyway system in downtown Minneapolis.

I have had the worst guest experience at this store.

This is my favorite place to shop downtown. The store has just about everything at fair prices. There is just one problem that I would really like to see corrected. The automated PARKING VOUCHER reader does not always read the voucher. Today was the third time this happened within the last 2 months so I had to pay $8 for parking for a 30-minute shopping trip during which I spent over $50 at the store. I urge Target to PLEASE FIX THE PARKING VOUCHER READER!!!! I wanted to put this in the survey they ask you to complete, but it only asks about your experiences inside the store, and there is no open field to address any other issues. So I had to publicly post this issue.

Ive been shopping at the downtown Minneapolis Target (Nicollet and 9th) for years, and during the pandemic theyve really stepped up. The store is always clean, employees are helpful and respectful, and I feel safe going there. Im over 60 and am extremely cautious about where I go these days.

I have always been a target advocate and I love this location. Having the store open for an hour once a week to shop with my fellow elderly brothers and sisters in a safe environment has been amazing, being a 74 year old a african man from liberia I can tell you this. I love Target!!

It was great day today. I get in pick up grocery and do the self check out. It was beautiful. I learned new way skyline to get to the store.

Who doesnt love TARGET!! Plus one of the only establishments downtown that provides not only free parking but FREE UNDERGROUND PARKING!!!

They discontinue items I buy regularly, like salted in the shell roasted peanuts. So now I have to get an inferior product from Amazons.

It seems pretty ridiculous and unnecessary that this store closes at 6pm when other Targets in the area are open until 9pm. A lot of people dont even get off work until 6pm.

KAT was super friendly! Helped me with items I had put on hold, was very kind and went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of! Its people like this that make me love shopping at Target! I will be back for sure because of this awesome experience I had with her!

This Target is excellent! With 2 stories that are fully stocked, an escalator for your carts, and literally everything you could need - its a great one stop shopping experience. I tend to buy way more than I came in for when I come here, and the attached parking garage really helps with that. It can get busy but I expect that when downtown, the lines move fast at the check out even when I feel like I am going to be standing there for ages.

Target has been there for me throughout this crisis

Target carries a HUGE variety of goods that many peeps could use or are shoppping for.

Downtown store: needed grocery items out of stock, discovered purchased grocery items were past expiration date after I got them home. Salsa in deli area was only good for a day or two, some expiring same day. Noticed on the way out (which is poorly designed with people trying to get carts while people are exiting) that there were very few carts available. Rush hour on a weekday. Out of stock on pharmacy items or couldnt locate. Way too many people in prescription line to ask for assistance.

Cool Target first one I have been in tht had 3 floors

Excellent grocery store situated in a heart of Minneapolis downtown. You can find almost all varieties of produce, meat and daily products. (However i feel they have less varieties of Chicken). People working here are friendly and helpful. Provision of self checkout, making your shopping more faster. There is a liquor store adjacent to grocery store at the ground entrance. But beware of homeless people outside the store asking for money, which will make you feel unsafe.

Great Location - Free Entertainment.Its Target - so you know what to expect. Unlike the other Targets, this one is split between two floors due to its location. The staff is generally helpful and the store mostly clean.Being in Downtown Minneapolis, you have a lot of people asking for change outside the store whenever you go in. Over time, you will see that this is typically the same cast of characters and you will know what speech is coming. The entryway on the street level seems to always have a number of randoms milling about - be it plain loitering or those waiting for a bus. Usually there are some fairly loud, animated discussions happening so chalk it up to entertainment. Security and - at times - a Police Officer are sitting there so safety isnt really an issue.Another fixture at this location is a guy who shows up most mornings and b-lines to the toy aisle to see what items he can find to sell on eBay. Frequently you see him holding a couple of random Pop figures, action figures, hot wheels, and such in his hand while checking ebay on his phone. The store does not seem to care so you can skip this place if you are looking for a special, hard to find item for a kid you know or collect anything yourself.A big positive with this store is that they dont mess around when they clearance out items. This store will generally start before the other branches and offer the deepest discounts right away - as opposed to periodic markdowns over a few weeks.

Your team members! From the first associate I interacted with on the floor who asked me my name and how she could help. To the final associate who took my cart for me when I was at my car in the garage. You have amazing team members from start to finish!

This target was out of basic items I went in for.

Its close to where I live. The person that helped me was gracious. Since Ive been in the store, Target has added some additional safety precautions, and have communicated with their customers about these additional procedures their staff is initiating in order to keep more safe, and will contribute to effort to eliminate this virus from our city, our state, our country, our world.

They need to start posting accurate information about their business hours. Their app and their website both say they are open until 9:00 PM when they are still closing at 6:00 PM. I ended up wasting a bunch of my time and whole my evening. This is obnoxious, and I’m knocking off 2 stars because of it. FIX THIS, Target!

The Nicollet store manager along with guest services were so helpful in managing a Charitable Request emergency, for which veterans service leagues sincerely value Target Corporation. In addition, a team member at check-out went above and beyond helping me learn to use the app and benefit from all the new ways to save. Oh, and Im grateful for the person in the pharmacy isle who very kindly sourced a product not currently carried by Target, when she could simply have said we dont have it. I live and work on the Mall, and the store atmosphere has a small town feeling. Friendly, helpful, fun!

Convenience (proximity to domicile)As I said earlier in another screen I like your Nicollet Mall store very much. First its only ten blocks either way; were I to go to the Cub stores either on University in St. Paul or their Broadway and Lyndale location, Id be forced to take transit and though their product selection is much deeper having to go so much further to shop makes your store the better choice by far, or at least for me personally! Then, if that store does not stock something specific I always have the option of ordering it on-line for pick up at the Mall store which seems not to be true for Cub though you cant quite me on that. Then of course there is that in-store liquor store. I sometimes shop there too but infrequently because I prefer the eastern European or Chinese later beers which that store does not carry. They do have a lot of off the wall beers and ales from esoteric producers that the beautiful people drink. Im much more old school but thats mostly because Im old myself and have old tastes. Cest la vie !

Who doesnt love Target? This location is always busy, but Im still able to get in and out quickly. The employees are friendly and the checkout process is fast, so I can get back to my office quickly when I need to.

Picked up a $2 pair of shoelaces that I ordered for pickup at the Downtown Mpls Target and had to pay $8 in parking. They dont tell you that you need to buy $20 of stuff to get a parking voucher. This was a LOUSY customer experience!

Conveniently located and open till 10. There were plenty of locals hanging out in front of the store and nearby streets. The store is relatively clean and most shelves were well stocked. The signs above the isles correctly guide you to the items you seek. When inquiring about a particular item, my experience with a staff member was pleasant and he offered to help further. Self-checkout requires you to tap the “pay” button on the screen. Most other self-checkout systems understand you want to pay when you insert your credit card.

My credit card was charged twice for the same purchase

Place was incredibly tidy and neat compared to the other store in Minneapolis. Although I will admit, the deals were nowhere close to what they were across town. On the plus side, they actually had staff working.

They really know how to make this company grow and move forward. Target will always be my favorite store to shop at for a long time and the Expect More, Pay Less slogan will always give me great things to look forward to as a Target customer.

Never thought I would have the worst experience here. I got stop for no apparent reason and I had to show them my recipe that I even brought my stuff. The are differently have a race issue when it comes to this target. I always go to many different targets and I usually dont come here but today was they day that they pulled the race card. Came in to buy some snacks while on vacation. Very convenient close to hotels. It is huge! They have a wide variety of products. Very clean and organized and the employees are friendly.

Its a pretty standard Target - its generally kept pretty nice. The cashiers bagging of items leaves something to be desired, but since this is so convenient and easy I keep coming back. The addition of self checkout stations on the first floor has been very helpful, but at the same time I never feel like there are enough cashiers (especially at peak hours) to help check out.

SHOP TARGET! I like the variety of items they carry plus the ease of running in to grad something quick when I need it. Great resource for families and childrens clothing as well as household items. Makes one stop shopping easy for me ad the return or replace policies are really wonderful and easy! Plus early parking in Sioux Falls.

Downtown has underground parking and we live downtown. Also, like the pricing on their products and choices. Will mention the good news is the Market Pantry Classic Trail Mix 28 oz size. The bad news is that the store was all out :( However, Quaker Bars were in and Yes, we picked up several boxes. :)

I love all targets, this one had a lot of homeless people in the front. It was just a shock at first.

I go to this Target location quite often because of its location. I recently went to use my mobile coupon for $10 off. When I went to check out on the second floor the clerk had not recognized the promotion and called over a co-worker for help. The co-worker who came over to assist, also didnt know about the promotion and so the manager was called. It was near closing time at the end of a busy day and yet the two employees put their best effort in trying to assist me with smiles and thanking me for my patience.The manager quickly arrived and wasnt understanding why the promotion wasnt in the system and working properly. She instead just took the promotion and manually punched in my $10 dollars off so I could be on my way. All three apologized for the confusion and thanked me for my patience again.This was honestly some of the best customer service I have ever received at a corporate location from any brand. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the employees worked together with such positive attitudes. I was also grateful for how the manager was focused on making sure I was happy and getting me on my way by solving the issue to the best of her ability.I think that this situation says a lot about a brand and company and I am so pleased with their efforts. It just reminded me why I constantly choose Target over any other company for my shopping needs. Keep up the great work, your consumers DO appreciate it!
