Got what I wanted. Quickly.
The clearance and sale items ring up at full price. Confirm each price for these at checkout or you will over-pay. 100% chance. If you have a bunch of sale items expect to wait 15 minutes while they scramble to find another worker to go check and then wait for them to go check and come back. Tedious!!!The carts are locked together for a quarter so if the next cart has a dirty diaper wadded up in it thats the one you get!
Aldi has always been respectful nice and considerate not just me but to other people around me
The security officer was more than a gentleman. Outside of there just happen to be 2 white women skipping me in line(far from the first 2), the cashier was a man wearing fingernail polish. I have no patience for such a disgusting display.
I love this place it is so beautiful and unique
Fully stocked clean and fast friendly service
Pay for baskets?? Plus I couldnt find white rice
Out of 4 Aldi locations Ive visited this one has to be the least well managed. The aisle is less spacious, shelves messier, and the selection of meat and produce much more limited. There was overcrowding on a Sunday night. I would not be going back.
Much better than aldi on Franklin. here you dont have to blow your Horn five times to get out of the parking lot because people dont know how to drive people dont care how to drive. Here you dont have rude people at the cash register or surrounding you in the store!
Great place to get your food veggies and fruit discount price
Great store, love the small footprint! So easy to get around, you can get everything you need in twenty minutes without wandering through aisles and aisles full of twenty versions of the same product. Good selection of organic produce, eggs and dairy. Some organic staples, some grass fed meats.
On the evening shift the heavy set security guard is very rude and off putting I seen in less then 5 minutes him being rude. I said thank you twice to him for open the restroom for my son. he ignores me. I older black man was have health issues and also was tryna explain and talk nice to him and he blew him off. And a older brown lady was tryna ask him a question and he rudely walked right passed her within inches. I now he was okay because he turned to so a jome to a cashier right after all this. These three incidents happen within 3 minutes estimate. The black man and I said we will not be returning,so did the lady outside. With how the police been treating people he should be more culturally aware of his position, being that he is performing a job with authority. Please fix this problem.
Brand new ALDI, just opened yesterday with a much more updated and modern look compared to most ALDI stores that Ive been to around town. This location is larger than your typical ALDI store and as a result there is a lot more selection compared to others but still at the very affordable ALDI prices. Plus, has the added benefit of a less cramped parking situation that the one across Hiawatha has. All in all a great addition, and I look forward to making this my main grocery.
The service can be slow sometimes and they are out of product most of the time . At least a couple of items .
My favorite place to shop.Great prices, although I,m not fond of all the price increases. New seasonal items always.
By far the best super market in the state. Prices just cant be beat. Service is the best. Selection is very good.
I go here weekly ! Usually very clean, great deals, offers lots of Organic foods which I love ! And fresh flowers are cheap !
I gave this 1 star but if I could pick 0 stars I would. The employees here arent friendly at all. They dont say hello, how are you doing, or even have a good day. I think theres maybe 2 employees that at least say hi & thats it. When you pass by them throughout the store they never acknowledge you as a customer let alone a human being. Ive seen this many times from mostly every employee. They never smile & they pretty much show their frustrations while working. The only time you do see them in a good mood & laughing is when they talk amongst each other. Its like why cant they show that positivity towards us customers? One staff member particularly is the security guy, heavier set with glasses. He always shows such a mean look on his face like he tries to intimidate me with & other people there. He always is sitting there not doing anything on his phone or eating something. I never see him move around in the store ever. I believe his name is Evan. I told Aldis in the customer surveys that he always makes me feel uncomfortable while shopping therel, isnt friendly at all but with other employees he is. I also hate that alot of stuff is never stocked & food is all over different aisles not being able to find anything Im looking for. They arent eager to assist in helping you find anything either. I prefer to shop at the one on Franklin because the employees there are very nice, greet you at the door & when you leave. And they also assist in helping you as much as they can.
Not enough choices. Prices are reasonable.
With the 6.1 % inflation rise, you can get a meal without 😋 breaking your banks.
Horrible staff, ALWAYS!!!( 3YRS NOW). . And to make matters worse the fruits & vegetables options are proof and direct correlation to the companys view on if this area deserve to have QUALITY FOOD selections!!!. . . And other areas of the city where theres a majority of white people, when I go to those Aldis the selections are ten times greater then in this area which is primarily black and brown people
The security of the store waited me at the door then he go back in - This is too bad. People should not be treated by their skin colors.
Stunningly good prices.
Great place to shop but they make you wait in long lines while workers are on break. Bad customer service. Dont shop often because of that. Dont make your customers wait in the fking line that long while watching worker walk around store.
I love aldi they have my mochi here my fav, always fresh fruits also.
This was my original Aldi on Lake St and west of metro blue line. Love this Aldi. Workers and service are the best. Now, I go to the new store in Shops at Lyndale in Bloomington but yesterday I was downtown so I hit up my all-time favorite!!!!!
An OG, has almost always been there for everybody and Im happy its open
Good deals lots of activities that are interesting be aware
I was lmpressed years back at my very first visit to Aldis LOVEM
I wish there was more, and more diverse produce. What they have is as good as can be found.
Just never been a huge fan of aldis. The lack of chicken options
👍
It was a pleasant experience. The workers were very friendly and helpful.
Good prices and helps us save
Quite decent. Nothing fancy, but you probably dont want fancy if youre coming here anyway. Ive always found it well-stocked and not too busy. It is a bit strange that theres another Aldi so close, but that turned out to be a good thing given that that ones presently out of commission.
Cheap and service hu ood
One of the smaller stores. I usually go before close so it’s not busy.
Great prices friendly staff items are easy to find but they need to bring back their cheese hotdogs.
Limited sales items. Fresh produce quality declining and sale priced when no longer fresh. Fresh flowers appalling!
Humble little grocery store. Has all of the staples and rotating seasonal items.
Not a great experience if you have mobility issues. Wont be going again. Oh staff could have cared less that a patron was leaving with out a purchase.Solution rethink making a person walk the length of the store before they see any merchandise other than potato chips. The employee needs a job he likes doing. It sure isnt this one. What a shame he was young and has a long way to go in the work world.Seems i wasnt the only one not buying. With few exceptions people only brought out 3 or 4 items ( as I observed waiting in the car)
Restroom doesnt stay clean, clothes left behind, unflushed toilet, dirty floor ..warning
Decent to good store. They have decent, friendly staff. Would rate them 5 stars if they werent always out of stuff. I think whoever does their orders needs to pay more attention (or increase the amount of times inventory is done). Prices earn some of these stars! Aldis prices are decent, and fruit costs less here than some places.
Easy and quick.
They just opened up recently and its nice to have a store close by for groceries. Its a very nice store too. Great for the neighborhood.
Love all Aldis. This location is always crowded, but that is just folks understanding the value of their competitive edge over rival grocery chains. Cost savings.
Fresh produce and overall great prices. Never had anything that didnt taste good.
I always enjoy shopping there. My biggest concern is the produce has to many things that are only sold in bulk. That is one detergent for me, as most of the time I am only shopping for my self. Aside from that I can get most of what I want there. The large bag of potatoes I was forced to buy, were a little wet on the inside. I hope they dont go bad before I can use them all.
Cleanest, biggest Aldis around. Good produce. Lines can get long. They usually only have 1-2 lanes open. Its not worth your time if youre just buying a couple things--I always regret it. I wish they had an express lane or self-checkout in those cases...
Good selection and clean. Cashier was too busy talking loud to the security guard to acknowledge her customers.
I shop at the newer Aldi that replaced Rainbow. The newer store is spacious, clean and well organized. I give it 4 out of 5 because they of limited availability of certain products and the produce is often over-ripe sometimes. Be ready to use the produce you buy.
Great place to shop and convenient.
I was really happy to have a new grocery store in this place. Its very nice and clean. I just wish there was a little more variety.
I love the new Aldi! I work next to it and I enjoy going there after work. Very clean and open, and big too! Large parking lot. The only downside is that one of the main entrances is shared by traffic to my jobs parking lot and the Wendys traffic and basic through traffic, and there ISNT a stop sign so make sure you proceed with caution.
For quick easy trips shopping in the neighborhood. Nice friendly easy access. Great addition to the neighborhood.
Easy ordering, plenty of notice on the delivery time, and the delivery guy was friendly! A great experience from end to end. Its location is convenient.
So thankful that this Aldi is open! My mom and I usually shop at Lake and Minnehaha which is in a sad state. This Aldi has a welcome OPEN sign a little farther west in spite if most of the surrounding stores being burned or boarded up.
Nice store around a high traffic area
Very good price however, please train your employees that please do not throw the foods as fruits and vegetables when checkout. Thank you! We always love ALDI.
Very good
Great staff! Always like finding something different with what Aldis stocks.
Thw food is so good 😃😃
Prices r so good and nice selection especially in the holidays. Love their chocolates
They have good product s and food. They also have new items to try. They also carry specialty items.
Great value and deals on weekly special. Lots if random stuff that you may not think a grocery store has, but they have it here. The merchandise changes seasonally and also limited stock. Such as: dog carriers, stickers, sidewalk chalk. They also have imported European food as well.
The cashiers at this location are some of the friendliest Ive ever interacted with. The store is always clean and well-stocked, and the prices are phenomenal (plus the food is delicious). Definitely a staple when it comes to grocery shopping.
This store has great prices and some organic produce, juices and pastured grass fed products. The staff is very helpful snd friendly. I would rate it a 5 if they carried more organics and healthier pastured, free range and grass fed meats. The meat section is very bleak in terms of healthier meats. Produce should add much more organic varieties.
Slow checkout CSRs. But polite workers
Love the place. Great choice for grocery shopping.
This store is clean and well maintained and the prices are very good. When I got to the checkout line, there were two people asked of me, and because the first person in line was obviously going to take a long time, the staff opened a second line for me and the person ahead of me. We both had small orders and it was thoughtful of the staff to notice that.
Much better than the old Aldi across the highway. Better layout, larger aisles, and better selection. I went at the end of December 2018, shortly after it opened, on a Saturday morning and it was pretty empty.
Much bigger and more open than other Aldis. Lots of organic items! Great staff 👍
Love this new location. Much bigger and easier to get around. Very clean, and not quite as busy. Great experience, will go back.
Aldi at Hi-Lake is my favorite grocery store. The employees are very nice and its easy in easy out.
Most things were not much different from other local ALDI stores. However, there were baby food purees that expired 4 months ago, but still on the shelf. When I notified one of the employees, he seemed less than interested. The security guard spent his time smoking next to the exit door. Everyone who walked out, got to go through it and breathe the same.
Great.fruit. veggies and chocolate me favorite ...great service.
Quick to shop because not so many options for an item, checkout is fast, store is clean. Quality is at least as good as name brand prodi.
Like because there a community store but they are never stocked with certain products..Kinda of frustrating😒😵
Good prices and always surprises at what you can get there. Good supply of organic foods, fresh veggies and fruit and cheeses and frozen foods.
Aldi has a systematic problem with having price tags posted for their goods. This store has a particular handicap with having price tags out for what’s on shelves or in the freezer bins though. The last time I shopped at this store there were, without exaggeration, over a dozen items I saw which I wanted to know the price of that had no price signs anywhere I could find. I’m not going to bring a dozen items up to the busy registers just to find out the price. For a store that is targeted at price conscious shoppers, this is a failure.
I LOVE this store! Great bargains, super finds, and excellent customer service!
I shop at Aldis from time to time and am always intrigued at the selection that they have for home goods and organization. Theres also a really decent selection of groceries, though I prefer to buy meat from other places. The store could be bigger, with more cashiers but its an overall good experience for me.
Great friendly staff. I love this place. Very budget friendly.
This is the coolest store they have food good food for cheaper than cover Target I highly recommend shopping here before the other stores and checking out prices because theyre great and it taste good as well
Been to many Aldis, this is the cleanest, best organized and run of the bunch. More selection of organic items than Ive seen in the past, and cant beat the prices.
Good prices and not so crowded.
This is my wife favorite grocery store. It’s simple and straightforward isles make navigating very easy. Cons. Not many checkout thus creating lines.
The prices are incredibly low, and while the food is not name brand, the quality is excellent. The carts cost a quarter and you have to bring your own bags. They typically have boxes to use though.
I love aldi. The bill is always half what it would be somewhere else and the diversity of the people that shop there is awesome. I enjoy shopping here. Just be sure to check out your produce before you buy it.
Super cheap and the staff are always so nice & helpful
ALDI is a perfect place to get cheap groceries. Make sure you bring your own bags if you dont want to have to pay for them. Expect to have to bag the groceries yourself too. ALDI stays so cheap by not having to hire baggers or cart handlers. Also, bring a quarter if you want to use their carts. They make you insert a quarter to receive a cart. If you put the cart back, you get your quarter back. It ensures that there arent any carts left in the parking lot.
This new location is great! Its huge inside but still the carts are too big and people dont know how to move them around.
Store is fine. Hard to get in and out of parking lot. Store is often busy and congested.
Great place 2 shop & much cheaper than cub foods across the street. Produce dept is great & full of fresh veggies & fruit
Love Aldi! So affordable and keeps getting better!
Not a good option if you only need a couple things and are in a hurry. Lines can be bad. I abandoned my 3 items and went to Cub instead. Probably didnt actually save time, but definitely was worth it for the reduced stress. Self checkout would be useful for this, but for some reason Aldi has publicly stated that they have no interest in them.
