Have been picking up supplies here for a couple years now, including placing orders over the phone where Ive been unsure of which leather thickness to get, and have always received excellent customer service! Specifically Jessica, she has always been cheerful, helpful, patient in problem solving, and knowledgeable about products and techniques!

Very rude woman working there. Didnt have her mask onthen put it on and instructed me how i needed to wear mine.Turned around and left. There are other places that are very helpful without the condescending attitude. Used to like going to Tandy. Now I work with springfield leather.

This place is perfect for those who like to create. They everything you could need to make amazing things out of Leather. Aside from tools, equipment, and a huge selection of products, they also have classes. Most of which include the tools and materials needed, for a very reasonable price. Perfect for those who want to test the waters before diving.The staff was also wonderful and incredibly helpful. This was my first time to the shop and I will be absolutely be back!

My husband loves this place and can spend a long time in here looking at everything, I get bored though as hes the leather worker! Hope it opens again soon so he can make the trip down to shop! Cant find anything on their site about when they are going to open.

Tandy is not a leather goods/apparel store or a furniture store. It is a crafts supply shop for the leather crafting crowd. Tandy always stocks plenty of everything i need. The sales personnel are leather workers themselves, and can answer all of my questions, and make useful suggestions. There is a workbench in the store in case i want to try something out.

Update: Went back to return the leather hide I bought because it was not the right shade for my project. They took it back no problems and again helped me find the right leather I needed. Cannot say enough good things about this place and the people that run it.Very helpful staff, you can tell they are passionate about what they do. I brought in my project and asked for help choosing the right leather and the guy was as excited about my project as I was. He helped me find everything I needed for my project and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need.

Staff was very helpful and listened to what I asked. They pointed things out and explained answers to my questions. It was my first time there and I will make the drive up again. Well worth the trip.

Ive been coming here for about 8 years. As a long time customer it pains me to see these comments about leather repair kits and upholstery. Tandy does not do any upholstering, they sell upholstery leather and that is it. There is also no Leather Repair Kit. Leather isnt like those blow up tubes that come with a patch and some glue, it takes skill to replace it.If you want a quick fix for a scratched couch, or if you want to buy a cheap belt you can put on, go to Walmart.If you are interested in making leather goods that will last a lifetime, or developing a skill to create some truly amazing products, then drop by a Tandy store. They have all the tools, leather, hardware, and supplies, and can show you how to use them. Happy Crafting

Really top notch guys. The most helpful store Ive ever been too. I came knowing nothing and over the last few months theyve answered all my questions and actually sat down with me on several occasions and showed me how to do some really amazing things. Definitely reccomend.

Good teachers of the craft

Great place but why is it closed on Sundays? I dont understand how craft stores would close for half of the weekend. This is when you are going to do most of your business. Maybe not a problem for people who live in the cities, but I have to drive an hour and a half to come up....

Great place to purchase good quality leather, but very limited on other items for leather jewelry making. Prices are pretty high

I went in for help with furniture, which I now understand they dont deal with, but they were so incredibly rude and condescending. I seriously left feeling like I was a complete idiot for asking someone at a leather store about my leather furniture. Both people I talked to acted the same way.The girl I talked to said, I dont k ow what your phone co versatile was but he was probably just trying to get you to come in. Oooooook

I called to ask for a leather repair kit and Alexa was extremely rude and short with me. Her word were and I quote There is nothing here that we can help you with. This is what Im trying to get across. All I wanted was a little bit of help.
