Being the only supplier of Toho T-line in the USA i was forced to order from them. Wow! Shipping was fast. I happily changed my review. My email provider(gmail) did send the confirmation to spam for some reason.* The only negative i have was that i had to log into the website to find out if my order shipped and what the tracking was. If they could somehow get that out by email i would happily change my review to 5 stars. *

I like this bead store. I think they should make sure their staff knows the difference between beads. I went in one time asking for the tile bead and ahe kept sale tila Nd i said no tile. They didnt have the tile bead. When i check out, a diffefent clerking there, asked if they could hire me as i knew my beads. I would have jumped at the chance, but i have a really good job that they would not have been able to give they pay and benifits i get from my job and they would close a 1/2 hour after i would be able to start. Good selection of seed beads. For right now i can not go to the bead because of the civil unrest in mpls.

I shop here all the time and the staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. In fact, I started my own online jewelry store because of inspiration from their shop. One of the employees showed how to make my first bracelet and my interest developed from there. Highly recommended.

Worst experience and the owner was no help. I bought energy stones 3 days ago and was given the wrong size. They said due to covid 19 there isnt anything they can do. If you are closed why are you still taking online orders?They are just taking peoples money and not offering good customer service. I will never recommend it shop here ever again.

The old man owner Bobby who works there really seems to hate women in the way he treats his customers and his staff. He was personally very insulting to me and he seem to enjoy it even. Beware of those old misogynist men. Besides, everything in the store is totally over priced. Just shop online pretty much anywhere and you will get a better deal. Sure go in and find the size and such you want, then order online. Then you wont be supporting a business that disrespects women.

Weve consistently had excellent experiences with the staff at Bobby Bead, and their selection is downright dangerous. Ricky has assisted me on a number of occasions and remembered my interests and preferences. All of the staff members have been consistently helpful and courteous. I find the stores prices to be very reasonable.

I love the feel of the store. Some bead stores send the vibe, look, dont touch, but Bobby Bead does not. The selection is amazing--especially for seed beads, crystals, and Bali Silver. Im always happy with the prices compared to other local bead sources. In fact, I recently moved out of MN and Ive ordered online to get the quality and selection Ive grown to which Ive grown accustomed. Occasionally, I have wished that there were more people working for faster service, but I usually notice that the employees are helping some poor soul learn how to attach the clasp to the bracelet theyve created or some such thing!

Went to get my chain shortened and the sales person cut the chain at the bottom instead of the top. The chain now requires soldering. The sales person and manager refused to help pay for the soldering and said “best they could do” is offer a discounted chain. I took the chain to another jewellery repair, relayed this episode, and they said: “No one in their right mind would cut a chain at the bottom”. So folks I’m here to say idiots are alive and well, working at Bobby Bead.

I have very good experiences at Bobby Beads, I have rediscovered them after becoming disgruntled with another large bead seller that shall remain unnamed. I recommend them Go in and get to know them. They are an eclectic group of folks that will help you when you are stumped and they have great sales.

I use Bobby Bead online as I am in Australia. They are a great bead shop. I love the fact the wholesale section is open to the public. They have a great range of Toho seed beads, which are my favourite (and are not sold in shops where I live). International postage is more than reasonable and orders are posted quickly. :) Love it

Ive used the online retail store many times over the past 3 years. The service has been excellent and so has the quality. I love that they always add a free sample or two to your package. I would highly recommend them. Their sales are great and everyone Ive ever spoken to over the phone has been extremely helpful.

Meh- the mark up on lobster clasps are insane- 3 COPPER for 2.50? When you can find 50- for less than 5 online? they a great to use in a pinch- but that is beyond frustrating/robbery of your customers.

Bobby Bead has the best selection of beading supplies in the Twin Cities. I love that they have a wide variety of semi precious gem stone beads and many natural material beads. The staff are really helpful if youre trying to figure out how to make new jewelry.

Bobby Bead has an excellent selection of seed beads and other necessities for a variety of high end beadwork. Theyve got a good selection of needles, thread, and a gigantic selection of very good Toho seed beads. Theyve also got a wide variety of accent beads in glass, naturals, metals, and stones. Their selection of stones is also quite good. No worries if youre a beginner, theyve got beginner classes and excellent advice in spades.

This was a great experience, the first three times I visited Bobby Bead. The staff were very helpful and cheerful, in particular the tall person with red hair. The last (and final) time I visited, I purchased what the tag had claimed to be Lapis. I went home and strung a beautiful mala, with the traditional practice of tying a knot after each bead with a tweezers and made a tassel. After I used it for 10 minutes, my fingers were blue and the cord of which I strung the mala was dyed blue as well. They would not refund my money because I did not have a receipt. So shame on me. This review then, however will be regarding their cheap, dyed and fake beads. If you are looking for quality bead, one might be better off going to a rock shop, such as The Enchanted Rock Garden in Richfield.

Many professional artisans shop as well as display their artwork both for sale and display for encouragement!This is my go-to spot for moms fix-its! I shop and thrift a lot! When I find a deal on jewelry at my favorite thrift store Goodwill Warehouse, Bobby Bead is where I go to find clasps, matching color, and Ideas to upcycle great Goodwill finds into fabulous! Plus I can make some pretty amazing bangles from their baubles without breaking my pocket book! Bobby Bead is the perfect match for Thrifters!

Unfortunately I do not live anywhere near to Bobby Bead the physical store so my experience with this business is as an on-line customer. I frequently order from this company and have always been satisfoed with the items I have ordered. Never had a reason to return a thing. When I had questions I called the store and was given very detailed information assisting me to complete my purchase. Their selection of Toho and the special Aiko beads is outstanding. I especially love the Aiko Gilt Marbled series of colors. I was using the Turq. Gilt Aiko#1703 at a beading group last week and everyone just had to know what I was using and where to buy them. I do Hope they followed through and went to the Bobby Bead website I told them about. I also hope Bobby Bead sends me the $10 gift certificate for posting my review on Google/Google+

They sell a lot of counterfeit Pandora beads,these are clearly not actual pandora beads but the owner in his infinite wisdom assumes you the customer are too stupid to know the difference, because he has a lot of money it doesnt matter to him if you buy your loved one a bead that says .925 and ALE AND PANDORA on it, when its actually a chinese BASE METAL plated FAKE that will turn grey and green in a month.Just ask him next time your in there if he cares, he usually slobbers a little and mumbles incoherently about Indonesia or something?Then walks away .
