Lowry Hill Liquors is fantastic all around. Staff is efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store is well stocked with a wide variety of products. They cover the bases from cheap and easy to top shelf and hard to find. They run excellent sales across alcohol types. They also feature a rewards program where you earn a point for every dollar you spend. Points can be redeemed for gift cards to the store or an amount of money of your purchase. They offer free parking in a lot adjacent to the store.

This is a great liquor store. Good prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have a good selection as well. Their delivery service is very convient. For only five dollars they will deliver right to your door. I think the minimum was $10 or maybe $15 dollars. Either way the delivery was fast and accurate. Large parking lot which is a plus as well.

I met a really nice gentleman working about a year ago that goes by the name Erik (I believe?) who has quickly become my go to for all things wine. Im sure I was a nightmare to deal with; as someone who has strictly drank beer & completely clueless about wine but equally curious. Erik took the time to carefully select bottles that I might enjoy. I’m not sure how he did it, based off of me only saying very little like “just not oaky” “not too sweet!” But I now have so many favorites thanks to him.Needless to say he really makes this little shop so much more pleasant just by being there. I’ve been meaning to let the store owner know just how much I appreciate him; everyone working is lovely I should add, but Erik really goes above and beyond. Thanks for all the help, especially during the lockdown.

Small neighborhood liquor store. Good selection of wine and sports. Usual cast of characters in the beer cooler but on the warm shelf in back some really interesting bombers and stuff. Fair prices,helpful staff, and a point system for money towards future purchases complete the picture.

I LOVE this local small business! Definitely like to support my local liquor store whenever I can! I LOVE that they have a points system and frequent sales and deals - that’s what keeps me coming back plus the helpful and friendly employees and wide selection of wines, craft beers and spirits. A good selection of Minnesota-made wines here too which I’ve enjoyed trying out over time too. Highly recommend trying out this place if you haven’t already. Take your time to look through across the whole store since there’s sooooo many great and delicious options.

Best prices of any liquor store that I have seen so far. Selection within types is well appointed with the common place to the rare and obscure without being excessive. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Great special sales and promotions, more if you sign up for them.Definitely the go-to place for beer, wine and liquor if you want good prices and great selection or something different than usual.

Great wine selection. So-so beer selection (high variety, low quantity). Most of the workers are SUPER helpful and friendly. The only downside is that I have been coming here for about 1.5 years and JUST learned about their loyalty points program. No one ever mentioned it to me until a new guy informed me of it. Kind of strange....

Not a good place to buy wine. Theres no signs indicating where to find any particular varietal or region in the store. Try to find someone to help you, and all I can say is good luck. I had to ask two people handing out free samples to finally find a manager to help me find what I was looking for. When I asked for a alternate suggestion for the common Cline Red Blend that I came in to buy (assuming theyd carry it since 90% of other wine retailers in town carry this popular wine), he looked like he was doing a complex math equation in his head. Ive been buying wine for over 25 years in Minneapolis, and this is about this only place Ive ever asked for help and been so totally underwhelmed with subject matter knowledge.

To make a long story short, cashier and presumably owner was a jerk spewing insults and “talking down” to me and my spouse (we’re black & Asian). We were made to feel uncomfortable from the time we entered with his stares to be honest. Worst experience in Minneapolis so far...been here about one year.

This place had a wide selection, a good amount of parking, and the staff were friendly. The location is convenient for the neighborhood. The thing holding me back from giving more stars was that it seemed the prices were not as good as Ive seen elsewhere, but it could just be that its Minneapolis and not Saint Paul so its just higher cost of living. I dont know.

I was so disappointed by this liquor store! At first I thought it would be all fancy, but when you walk in I half expect to see a pizza rat skittering across the floor! Also the prices were wayyyy too high. Try to avoid unless you really dont feel like going further away to a better liquor store (lundys and byerlys liqour is real cheap)
