Our uncle has been taking his commercial vehicles there for years now. We had a code for the check engine light on my Buick and took it to another shop and wagiven an estimate for 2x more than what we were charged here. I am so glad my husband remembered this auto shop from being there with our uncle before. They did the work in one day and my vehicle runs like new again. I am so happy. From what my husband explained to me they showed and explained to him what was wrong with the car and how it would be fixed. Since we are new to MN, we have definitely found our auto shop!!! This shop is wonderful! They have done many oil/ fluid changes & put new tires on my Honda Element. I recently got new vehicle plates and the rear plate was rusted on, Edgar said they would do their best to get it switched out...and they did. I am always happy with the service.

Franssis was amazing when helping us look for a solution to our tire problems, and even gave us a loaner car to get our tire rim so we didnt have to pay for ubers and waste time. We will be sending our friends here for future car/tire repairs. I highly reccomend this location.

I stopped at this place when I saw the goodyear sign for a quick fix of a flat tire I had in my trunk. When I approached two gentlemen(mechanics) standing in the garage and when I greeted them they wouldnt even return my greeting. When I kept talking to them eventhough they were unfriendly, one of them said: what? I said; I have a spare tire in my trunk if youre able to fix it for me( tire has a leak at the rim)they pointed me to their office. When I entered found a man and a woman sitting and all of the sudden they stated talking in Spanish ignoring my presence and I have greeted them as well. At last the lady asked me what I wanted and when I told her I needed a quick fix of a flat tire she said she wanted to see it and I took her to my vehicle. She looked at it said that I need a new tire. I said, this tire is almost new I just need a fix not a purchase. Then, she called one of the mechanics I encountered a moment ago and they started talking in Spanish and they both said that I needed a new tire mine was too old😂 (scammers). I just closed my trunk and left and saw another shop not far away from this place.......they fixed it in just 10 mintutes. To anyone who needs honesty should avoid this place like the plague.

This place is pretty good. The price is of course not the cheapest but its a tire shop. Tires arent cheap. I was gonna go to discount tire but I didnt feel like getting my car towed there which is much further from my house.

I would highly recommend this place! I came in for a repair, they were able to fix it in only a few hours and did a great job. Very affordable and great people working there. I will be back!

Ive used Goodyear successfully in the past. I read that Lake St Tire suffered damage and loss while violence ensued May/June 2020. I am sorry for their loss. I hope this business comes back stronger than ever. Peace on earth.

Lake Street Tire is great! They were honest with me about when it was time to get rid of my car instead of convincing me to keep making pointless repairs. It’s really hard to find mechanics who will be upfront about that and I’ll definitely be back.

I have gone to this place for many years. Since it sold about 5 years ago, prices have skyrocketed and competence has declined. In my last visit, they charged me $700 for sparks and a coil only to find out that wasnt the problem. Another $100 took care of it. I I will go elsewhere from now on.I am not alone -- this place used to be packed with customers, cars and even local contract buses. Not anymore. Now even the sales floor is empty of product to show. Management is killing this once great shop.

I’ve been going to this shop for 8 years and have consistently received honest, well priced service. Recently I brought my car in for a repair and they reminded me that they believed my car was still under warranty and suggested I call the dealership before they proceeded with the work. They were right, warranty applied, and they saved me the cost of the repairs. I have been recommending this place for years to friends and family. I get far better service from this Goodyear shop than I do my suburban dealership shop. They are the best!

Edgar and his team are so honest and friendly! The prices here have consistently been quoted at 2/3 the cost at least of other shops. The most recent time I visited I was quoted 390, where the previous shop quoted 750 for the same job. Edgar gave me a car to drive while they worked on my car at no cost. It turned out something was just loose so he tightened it For Free! Seriously the best service Ive ever had at a car repair shop.

No one likes getting work done on their car, but these guys are really solid. Im really glad that I found good mechanics who wont try to fleese you. Living near lake street, they are a resource.

So grateful. I waited until the very last day to change my license plates and then couldnt get the nuts loose. Took it to Lake Street Tire right before they closed and Edgar replaced the plates quickly. There were several people there and staff were efficient and friendly.

This place is a scam. They tried to charge me extra for fixing a tire leak when there was no leak. I called this out and got it removed from my bill when I paid.Then I drove my car away from the shop and realized that the alignment was way worse than before I brought it there.I went back to the shop and asked for my money back for the alignment ($64). The guy told me he wouldnt refund me no matter what.Too bad these people cant even balance tires properly. I live close by and would be a repeat customer, but this was a horrible experience. I will be reporting this business to the better business beauru.

Looks like they rip off my grandfather when they repair his 2000 lexus rx300 ignition lock cylinder? His key was broken and stuck inside the ignition.

Terrible! Bait and switch. They overcharged me and wouldnt back down. They wouldnt release my car until I paid it. Then they damaged my car, right in front of me, taking it off the hoist. Unbeleivable!

They are alright. Id go back but they always have a long line and a long wait time.
