They have helped me with a flat tire during a polar vortex, fixed my car on short notice and put on my plates when I couldnt get the screws off. Anthony at the front desk is a great addition to the staff.

This place is amazing.I had my clutch replaced (not a job for the faint of heart) and Fixt Rite did an excellent job.– The pricing was way under the 10 other shops I called in preparation for the job.– The timing was a bit longer than projected. (Its also over a 10 hour job per the Honda dealer).– Dan was kind and informative, showing me what had worn on the old clutch.– They were thorough, replacing all parts and fluids needed for the best functionality.I have been to way too many large company auto shops in Minneapolis. This small shop is a gem.

Check engine light still on after I left. Come to find out all that was needed was a tune up but they decided to replace the EGR valve because it was quicker and more profitable.

Automotive mechanics who are honest with you and have been able to fix nearly all issues I have brought to them for over 10 years. Ocassionally they have referred me elsewhere for items such as service under the manufacturers warranty. They do not have Expresso, cappuccino, and a deluxe customer lounge, but they will help you address the issues with your auto and inform you about its maintenance.

Dan and Pete and their staff have worked on two of my cars in the last few months and have saved me money on both tires and repairs. In one instance they went out of their way to research a part recall, contact a dealer to negotiate on my behalf, and went so far as to print out materials for me to take to the dealer. They are also very friendly and amenable to scheduling changes which is a necessity for me and probably a lot of people. Theyre great!

Fixt Rite; kinda says it all. Dan and Pete run a great automotive shop, knowledgeable mechanics, fair prices, quick turn around, tied in with towing service (Ive used multiple times, at all hours - towed direct to Fixt Rite), had our cars serviced there; my cars, my kids cars, friends of my kids cars, recommended to neighbors cars... reliable, practical automotive service.

Took my vehicle in for a scraping noise and was told they fixed the problem. The scraping continued so they said bring it on in again and theyll check it out. Again, they said the problem was fixed after spending more money. The problem still continued and after bringing it in a third time, AGAIN spending more money hoping that this would be the last time, the scraping still persists. Its really unfortunate because they seem like good people, but it seems that theyre really good at getting your money or just really bad at fixing vehicles. Either way, I will not be bringing it back just to be taken advantage of and have time and money wasted again. Really disappointing.

I have had them service my 2002 Volvo since 2009 for regular maintenance and some unexpected problems. They have always done good honest work in a timely manner. They also do a great job of explaining what needs to be fixed (if anything) and why, and are very upfront about what to expect cost wise. They have a loaner car that can be used if needed as well.

We have taken our vehicles to Dan and Pete at FixtRite for more than 15 years, even when we didnt live nearby.Quality work, honest service, and they have a few loaners, too.Theyll give you options when possible, and make good recommendations without any pressure to upgrade.
