Rack Attack was recommended to me as The Place to go for bike racks. I called the day before to discuss available hitch mount bike rack options for my new jeep. The gentleman was very helpful. Didnt rush to get off the phone and even checked to see what was in stock. I decided on the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 (lightweight and compact) and went in the following day (5/30) to purchase and have it installed. The gentleman who helped me was friendly and took the time to explain how everything worked. Kudos guys, overall great experience. Good customer service is hard to come by these days. :)

Purchased a hitch in store, great customer service over the phone and with the gentleman in store. Lobby area was clean and organized. Checked out with the price quote over the phone. When I got home the hitch didn’t line up with the car frame. First I thought it was the wrong one, upon further inspection the hitch was bent on one side and had cracked paint with surface rust. After beating on it with a sledge hammer I got it to fit, I live 50 miles from the store not worth going back. Originally a lower review, company reached out right away to make it whole. Rick was respectful and took feedback to strengthen both sides. I would not hesitate to use these folks again. It says a lot for a company that takes customer service beyond the point of sale now days. Nice job guys all around

Went in to buy a bunch of bike rack supplies for a new car and not a great experience. I recommend going in knowing exactly what you want if you ask any questions call the guy will say is it’s entirely up to you. What do you want dinner willing to spend a lot of money on it I would recommend going somewhere else.

We were looking everywhere online for a larger Thule car top carrier and everyone was out of stock. “Call Rack Attack. They always have stuff when everyone else is out,” my wife shared from the other room. Never have heard of Rack Attack before, I called, found they had what we wanted in stock, accepted payment over the phone and a week later I was there picking up the box.The staff was courteous, friendly, and forthcoming. “You feel comfortable installing the clamps? We can carry the box out, put it on your SUV, and I call walk you through it. Otherwise it’ll cost $30.” I appreciated the candor and I had attached many carriers before so I ended up taking the extra 5 mins to install myself.While I didn’t spend a lot of time there, it was clear they had a good selection of inventory, knowledgeable staff (overheard another employee explaining the differences between bike rack pros/cons to another couple), and reasonable prices.I’d go back for sure.

Great experience with Rack Attack. First off, my install was a bit of a custom job since I was looking to add a rack for a Thule hullavator, that I already owned, to a van that has an existing rack set up for ladders and heavy hauling. I knew it was going to take a separate cross bar set up. The staff took time to listen to what I was trying to achieve and was able to set me up with the correct pedestals and mounting kit to work with the existing track on the van (I had already purchased additional bracket plates for the track from the existing rack company). Beyond that, they took the extra step of going out to my van to measure to make sure I would have the clearances I needed so the racks wouldn’t interfere with each other and the hullavator would function properly and clear the mirror.When I went in I was just looking for advice about whether it was even possible. I hadn’t expected to purchase, but after they did such a thorough job checking it out, I ended up purchasing all of the parts that I needed that day. Went home, installed, and everything works great. Excellent service. Helped me get all the right parts to install a Yakima rack on top of my car. Instead of convincing me to have them install, they explained it was something I could do myself which I ended up doing. I am stoked to now be able to put bikes and boards on my roof.

The assistant manager is extremely unpleasant and unfriendly. He has terrible customer service skills. I returned a bike rack a few weeks ago and the guy couldnt have been more difficult. The rack I returned was brand new never used and he tore the box open and inspected the rack with a microscope hoping to find a scratch just so he could deduct money from my refund. I was shocked at how poor his attitude was and how standoffish he was. This store seems decent, just get rid of the guy who clearly hates his job. Its hurting the entire business....0 stars.........

The guys at rack attack were very helpful in assisting me with the type of roof rack I needed. The only problem was they were out of stock on the cross bars that my vehicle required, but everyone else was too. I was able to locate an aftermarket rack that fit my car and rack attack helped me pick out kayak holders that attached perfectly. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

I just got a roof rack installed at Rack Attack. It’s the third time that I have taken a vehicle in for installation. I keep going back because RA is clean, has a great, well stocked showroom and a comfortable waiting area. But more than all of that, it is a great group of young enthusiastic guys that work there. Their work is top notch and always done on time as promised. When my rack and new Yakima Sky box had been installed one of their guys patiently explained the ins and outs of my new setup to ensure that I understood. It’s actually a pleasure to go there which, for a guy who hates to shop or wait, is saying something.

These guys are the best, always have a great attitude and are always quick to help out. They are currently fixing my custom rack that I messed up going into a ramp with the bikes on the car... I thought the front right mount was ok cracked but as you can see, the bike came off since you have to have secure mounts.

Rack Attack was our first stop after getting our new Subaru Outback in 2016, and I couldnt be happier. They installed a hitch, and I got a Thule roof box. I was impressed with the quality and installation, but I have been amazed by the ongoing customer support. I had a hidden fuse go out on the trailer lights while leaving for a trip, and I stopped by RA and they fixed it on the spot-- no charge! Today I stopped by RA because the front lifter on the roof box broke after 4 years-- and they replaced it at no charge! If you want quality auto hitches & carriers that last, you need look no further.

The customer service is amazing! I went in knowing almost nothing about how to select/utilize car racks. I wanted to fully outfit our new Rav4 with a hitch, bike rack, kayak/canoe racks, etc. Many different employees have helped me and they have all been very helpful and patient answering my questions and setting me up. Over the course of the last year they have helped me set up my Rav4 perfectly for our adventures. They have had every opportunity to be annoyed at all my questions or act like “know it alls” but it never happened once. They’ve been only friendly and helpful. Great products, competitive pricing and Exceptional services. Rick was very helpful getting my highlander set up with a Yakima rack. I made the mistake of trying to install it myself and ran into an issue with a landing pad. I went back to the store and Rick was awesome! He replaced the screw and was able to fix the issue and wouldn’t even let me pay him. If you are looking for a rack system, Rack Attack is the only place to go!
