These guys rule. Super honest, professional, and theyll meet you on your level without being condescending. They converted me a couple years ago when they called me at work to tell me that 0% of the repairs I had requested (on the advice of another mechanic) were really necessary. Many more good stories. I’m not one to write reviews, but if there was a sixth star I’d give it to them for sure. Not once have I had a bad experience with P Tune and am even hesitant to write this review because I don’t want other people to find out about this place and how great it is. I can guarantee you they’ll be honest, timely, and get the job done right the first time, (unlike many other places I’ve dealt with in the past.) I’ve gone here many times and have never been the slightest bit disappointed, Rob is the G.O.A.T. Highly recommend.

This shop was recommended to me by a friend. Ive used it for several years now even though there are many shops closer to me. They are always bending over backwards to help me out. Really solid people. Also they are consistently cheaper than most other places (yeah Im talking about you Bobby and Steves). Cannot recommend enough. I would take my vehicle to any of their shops. I think they have another on Lake.

They left the fuel fill hose detached after replacing the fuel pump for $640. Found out once I got to the gas station to fill up. I fixed it myself and called it a day. Hard to find good help these days.

This is by far the best place I have ever gotten car maintenance. They are kind, honest, and thorough at providing service to their consumers. Once I went to a dealer and they quoted me at 1000$ to fix the wiring in my vehicle. For some reason, I walked into this place and they charged me 200ish$ to fix my car. They have been a blessing for 6 years now and I honestly dont care about going anywhere else.

I stopped in today after booking an appointment online through the very easy online booking program.I recently moved to the saint Louis Park/ Edina area and thought Id give these folks a try after reading the other reviews. There was a shimmy in my steering and I was concerned about both a rattle, and the brakes on my 2012 Nissan Versa.Its always a little intimidating for me to take cars into a shop without knowing what needs to be done.Bill, who greeted me was friendly helpful and engaging. It was clearly a busy day in their small shop but he made me feel welcome and communicated the fact there might be a delay, but also recognized that my time was valuable. Even though the time ran a little long, when Rob called me he was extremely helpful talking through what was necessary and what was recommended in my situation. I went for an oil change and tire rotation. The mechanic recommended I get new air filters as mine were dirty. So I spent the extra money for that as well.

I took our car today for an oil change. The service was done very quick and the price is the same as the quote I received. The staffs were very polite and they even got the busted bulb on the headlamp replaced for free! Its a pleasant experience overall and will be returning here for the next maintenance 😁

--voluntary and unsolicited review--My car - 08 Honda Civic w/ 172k milesQuality work and customer service are the reasons why I continue to have my car serviced at this particular shop.There have been several times where Rob (the shop manager) and staff delivered exceptional service.Most recent example was on 9/7/2018 when I called the shop around 5pm because I had the brake light appear on my dash even though I did not have my e-brake on. Over the phone Rob shared his diagnostic that my brake fluid may be low and that I should come by and add some.Upon arrival at 5:14pm (closing time is as 5:30pm) I was greeted by Rob and he sprung into action by topping off my brake fluid. I also asked him about my brake lights that were out. One of the mechanics, Jay replaced them. At the end when I went to pay Rob said it was complimentary. Not sure whether it was that I have been a repeat customer and had larger work done before or not.Talk about going above and beyond customer service. I would recommend this shop to others.PS - they offer 2 yr/24,000 mile warranty on their work.

The first time I went here to get new rear brakes/rotors, I thought these guys were awesome so I went back when I needed the front done. After getting new front brakes and rotors, my brakes were still squealing like crazy. Brought my Jeep back to them to get this fixed and also because my air stopped working. It was under warranty, so it should’ve been one and done. Well, my brakes are still squealing and my air still doesn’t work. It’s 97 degrees out, so let’s just say I’m not happy.

I dont do 5 stars very often, but this place deserves it. The shop has a small footprint, but is well maintained, and they do a lot of volume through their doors.....they can do anything from tires and oil changes to engine replacements. Talk to Rob the manager, he knows his stuff, and is great to work with.....he wont recommend anything that you dont need, and the rates are reasonable. the repair techs know their stuff too. Like Rob, most of their employees have been there a long time. (great retention). The repairs are always spot on. They have a loyal clientele base, because they are fair, honest, and you can trust them. The owner has at least 3 locations and hires good people and treats them well.....once you try them, it will be hard to go back to other shops! Just dont too many of you try them, I dont want to wait six months to get my car in!

Rob and his team are honest, affordable, and of the highest quality. They don’t push non-essential repairs. We’ve been going here for years for everything car-related: tires, oil change, major repairs, new wipers and lights. Literally the best service imaginable. They were recommended to us, and now we recommend them to everyone we know.

I originally had no issue with this place. I took my car in for brakes and ended up getting them done, as did my girlfriend. However, they notified us that my girlfriends front right strut was completely broken and needed to be fixed to a tune of ~$900. We avoided the fix and took it for a second opinion at a VW specific body shop and were told that NOTHING was broken and the strut was only rusted. Its clear that Precision Tune Auto Care was trying to scam us into a phantom repair that didnt exist. I will never take my car back here again.

After getting quoted a ridiculous amount from a competitor, I found this shop on Google and decided to give them a try. Extremely glad I did! Great shop - wont be going anywhere else moving forward! I started bringing my car to Precision Tune because of my wifes recommendation. It has been a great experience. Rob, the shop manager, gives honest advice regarding repairs, is professional and a very easy to talk to. They are willing to work with their customers and do good work at fair prices. I am not surprised at their high google review rating. They are Simply Great!

They gave me honest information about the details of my brake pads and rotors. It is so refreshing after being told 20,000 miles ago by a different shop that everything needed to be replaced. As you can imagine I was quite surprised to learn today that my brake pads were in fine condition. I will continue going back for any of my auto care needs.

I always talked with Rob over the phone who was super friendly and got me the right information I needed: replacing the brake pads and rotors. They were able to get me in the next day, but since I work out of the Twin Cities area, it was great that I could both drop-off and pick-up my vehicle at their place after hours. Could not have been easier. During the process, Rob was even quite diligent about getting a hold of me and making sure I was up to date on the repair. Wonderful place, it makes me feel good about needing to go to a mechanic.

The best place I have gone to so far. They were honest with me about my rat bitten wires on my 2001 Toyota Prius. They fixed it up quickly and well. They didnt overcharge me like the dealer was trying to. I am so happy to have found such a great place. Ive brought both my cars to the France Avenue Precision Tune for a decade and a half. The owner Tim and his front end manager Rob have always been excellent to work with when problems or repairs are needed. Most recently, I lost my car keys and FOBs and was in a panic. But Tim and Rob handled the entire problem with the utmost professionalism and expertise.

Recently took my vehicle there for the first time for a water pump replacement. They were very friendly, did a great job, didnt charge me any extra fees above their quote, and got it done on time. Very happy with the experience.

I have been going to Precision Tune off France Avenue for over three years now. I feel very lucky to have found them. At other auto shops, I have had instances where unnecessary products and services were pushed on me. At Precision Tune off France, I have only found them to be extremely honest and helpful on whether or not a recommended service is REALLY necessary. I am able to do many smallmaintenance things myself, and they dont seem to mind when I say so. Rob, the manager, is a very kind man. He takes extremely good care of his customers. All the technicians there are very patient. Especially, when I go there with a specific noise in my engine that (of course!) we cannot reproduce while I am there...:) They always encourage me to come back when it does.I would not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone.

I have never wanted to give my car mechanic money like I do at Precision Tune Auto in Edina! There have been so many little things that they have consulted or helped me out on free of charge. They are honest and never try to get me to do work on my car that isnt needed. Rob, the owner, always gives me detailed information about what they are fixing and why in a very non-judgmental way. Even though I moved away from this area, I will never go anywhere else!

Mom and Pop Shop feel. Had me in and out in less than two hours for a wheel bearing fix, even offered me a free car to use in the meantime. I felt bad without putting some gas in for them so I threw in some. Will was very helpful and my car is riding great! Tried this shop because of the reviews, they are true. I came to get my brake pads replaced, my oil changed, and my tires checked, expecting to drop a few hundred dollars. They told me the squeaking was rust and I only needed the oil change and more air in my tires, which came out to around $30. The honesty is impressive. Ill be coming back next time.

I really love this P Tune. I usually speak with Rob or Will when calling or checking in/out, so I dont know the mechanics but I feel I can trust them, because a few times in the past, Ive come in with my car and complained of funny noises. They diagnosed the issue, and then mentioned an additional issue they said was not necessary to fix right now but I should keep watch on it. I really appreciate that they dont try to influence me into getting things fixed that dont really need it at that time. I believe their strong reputation and thriving shop is due to their honesty with customers, and their refusal to do what many other shops do: try to generate as much business as possible with every car owner that comes in. My P Tune guys would never do that, and I recommend them highly whenever talking with anyone about car repair. Ive taken all my cars there for almost 10 years, and my mom even switched to P Tune once she saw what great maintenance/repair experiences Ive consistently had with them. They rock!!

It can be a real struggle to find an honest place to take your car and know that the job will get done right. These guys are honest, reliable and do good work. I cant speak for other Precision Auto locations, but I can say that If anything happens with my car that I cant fix, I will be taking it to Precision Auto Tune on France every time.

All of these awesome reviews dont lie! I am a new and dedicated customer at Precision Auto because these reviews brought me there, and because of the first service experience that I had there. Rob and his great crew of auto techs are just awesome. I took my my commuter car there with concerns of a possible bad tie rod, and also a power steering sound. Ended up being a tie rod and bad water pump. I didnt have that Im being scammed feeling one bit. The repairs werent crazy expensive and have held up just fine ever since. I am very pleased.This is a busy shop, and it can take a few days to get your car in, but this is a really good thing. A busy, thriving business is the result quality work and trustworthiness. People keep coming back and I am now one of them!While I was waiting outside for Rob (the service manager) to finish with another customer, I could clearly here the techs talking as they worked. They all sounded happy and respectful. It sounded like morale was high. This is a big deal for me. Happy workers do quality work. Also, I didnt hear one word that, as a parent, would cause me to cover my daughters ears. A respectable, friendly crew!Im fully convinced that this is a repair facility to grow old with!

Precision Tune Auto Care had fantastic service. They have put on new rims for me, shocks and struts, rear sway bar, lowering springs, new brake calipers, rotors and pads fur a very reasonable price. they have bathroom, Kuerig coffee maker and comfortable seats to way in while using their Wifi. Will and Rob have great knowledge about cars and will not push into repairs you dont need!
