This is the Pelican store - associates need training for ALL the products that Pelican sells, not just cases.I began by asking to see which flashlights on display were compatible with 18650 lithium ion batteries, perhaps the most commonly used cell in enthusiast/high-end flashlights. The associate had no clue what I was talking about. I then had to realize myself and then demonstrate that the proprietary Pelican battery he was trying to sell me was clearly an 18650. I then narrowed down the options myself to which were compatible. The associate then confirmed to me that the Pelican 7610 was listed in his database as only being able to use the proprietary pelican battery despite my phone clearly saying it takes 18650s, when handing him a spare 18650 battery I had in my pocket, he attempted to slide it inside the flashlight and said it didnt work. Exasperated, I just bought the $30 pelican battery to get out of there. I got into my vehicle and opened the flashlight in order to try for myself, MY 18650 fit right in. The associate hadnt removed the AA battery adapter before trying, thereby leaving inadequate space for the lithium cell I had.I had already opened the battery he sold me, plus the transaction process was done on his iPad through PayPal, so a refund would be drawn out if even possible, paypal chargeback?All this being said, I appreciate the variety of amazing products they carry, but I can get every single one on amazon. the point of going to the store is to interact with someone who is more knowledgeable about the product than you are.

These guys are great - their customer service and custom case offerings set them apart from other Pelican dealers. Website is sharp and easy to use as well. Ive had several good experiences with them over the years and would recommend them to anyone. Great little showroom as well if you want to check out their products in person!

David was very helpful in helping me decide on a case. He explained several case options and I really feel I got the best model for my needs! It was also in stock and I was able to pick it up same-day...what more could you ask for? Great experience!

Needed a new case for my new camera gear and wanted to go with Pelican products. Came across The Case Store and they blew me away with their knowledge of the perfect case for me and how to pack my gear inside for proper safety. I wasnt sure which sized I needed and visited their showroom to ask for some help and see the cases in person before buying. Very happy with the case and the customer service.

I ordered a gun case over the phone that I thought was the correct size for my purposes and I asked about their return policy. I was told that I would be responsible for the shipping charges...that’s all. Nothing was said about having to pay any other charges...NOTHING. So I went ahead and ordered the case and when it came in it simply didn’t fit my needs so I immediately shipped it back. I emailed them to let them know that I was shipping it back and was interested in ordering a different case. They happily took my order for the second case and through all my communication with them they never once mentioned any fees for returning something. Then I get an email and saw they shorted me on my return. I emailed them back and the same person I spoke to who only told me I’d be responsible for the cost of shipping now tells me there are extra fees for returning something which he very conveniently “forgot” to tell me in our original conversation when he told me I’d be responsible for the shipping costs. He also told me they disclosed this on their website in the email response but I was talking him via the phone, place my order via the phone NOT the website! IF they’d been upfront with me when I said if it didn’t work I’d want to return it and order another and told me they charge for returning merchandise I would not have a complaint but it seems as if this was done deliberately...it sure seems they use this as another profit center. It was simply very poor customer service and something that could have been avoided if they would have communicated their terms over the phone. The idea that they take your order over the phone and then believe having their return policy on their website is sufficient is silly at best.

Their shipping quotes are lies. If you order it overnight, expect it to take 3 days. The only reason I ordered this was because B&H was on passover and they said they could deliver overnight. Well Thursday afternoon apparently means Tuesday. I do not recommend buying from these folks. No discounted advantage, stick with B&H or Amazon. Overpriced, bad customer service. Nothing to see here.

There’s quite an impressive variety of cases for sale here. The Pelican Store has plenty of cases in many sizes. The cases are rather varied in terms of what they are supposed to handle; there’s laptop cases, cases for HD cameras and more. These are rather well-built and strong and they don’t even weigh all that much.The store did a great job with creating a good selection of products. They helped me find the right case for my laptop and I especially got a good deal on it when compared with some other competitors I had look around. I particularly liked how I was able to get a custom-made label and printout on my case to make it look a little more unique; I got my model custom branded with my company name on it. Now it looks like my own special unique model that is fully supported by Pelican.

My job requires a lot of travelling usually at short notice so I needed something that looked professional and at the same time, portable, durable and waterproof. And I got it! I looooooove my purple Pelican EL22. Its just perfect for me.I have been using it for the past 5 months and I have no complaints whatsoever. The contents of my luggage is literally undisturbed, no stains or leaks, nothing.Thumbs up all the way.

You can see pelican boxes and other packing solutions in person first hand and it gives a good sense of scale. They have a lot in house and can order anything from Pelicans main site to their warehouse. 10/10 plan to visit again.

Horrid customer service!My company sells cinema lighting systems. We went to The Pelican Store to research creating a line of hard cases with custom foams for our lighting systems. The customer service rep was rude, pessimistic and mean.Everything I asked for, he wanted to blow off. So, can I get a volume price for 100, 500, 1,000 and 5,000 units? His response? Yeah, Ill email that to you. Im here now. Are those set prices or do you need to speak with Pelican? No, theyre set prices. Ill email them to you later. No, Im here NOW. Id like to know the prices NOW.He made it clear that he didnt think we were a real customer...and everything we said he had to one-up us. He was a cross between Eeyore and Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons; thoroughly negative and judgemental.Hes their main sales rep. One of my staff asked him later what his problem was...his response? Well, Ive had customers come in before who promise to buy and then dont follow through. Wow. So, youre underserving me because of someone else in your past? Buddy, you are not cut out for customer service.Within five minutes, I was done. My staff and I talked about him after we left. Over lunch, we joked that it was like the scene from Pretty Woman where the sales clerk looks down her nose at Julia Roberts and predetermines that she cant afford to shop at the store.Huge mistake. Huuuuuuuuge.Forget it. Well just buy from a Chinese company. If this is who Pelican uses to represent them, they dont need us as a customer.

Terrible. Tried to purchase from here by phone and email and they could barely form a compete sentence let alone help with product comparison, customization, or delivery. Hours are bankers and they are totally unwilling to work with you. I wound up purchasing from an online retailer.
