I went there to fix an exhaust leak on my Avalon, the manager asked me to pull in door one so they can take a look (no waiting and i didnt even have an Appointment), after looking at the car he called me in and took me inside the garage and explained what they will be doing to fix the problem and how much it will cost after tax, to me this was perfect, extremely professional and straight forward. They did the work and the problem is fixed, definitely will recommend the place to friends. Thank you guys.

For a muffler weld they quoted me 3 times the normal price and expected me not to blink an eye. The whole place is shady especially the owner/head of shop named “C”. Go somewhere else.

I would always refer this business to others and I would use it myself especially growing up in the neighborhood so it was extremely disappointing for me to find out that they tried to con me out of $585 (w/o tax) for a new radiator when all I needed was to connect the upper hose back into the radiator and I paid 20$ for that at the neighboring business..so disappointed. So please be aware, I don’t know if it’s because I’m a woman or what but this should have been an easy, OBVIOUS fix. they are either less knowledgable mechanics or they really tried to con me..I saw a lot of new staff so maybe this staff isn’t as honest as the previous staff. Do not recommend, as I see other reviews with the same issue.

Absolutely a total joke!!!! To my car in and off top they charged $96 dollars to check out the car and said it would go toward whatever they find if they could repair. Dropped my car off at 10a.m at that time only 2 cars ahead (already being worked on) I had to call twice 2p.m (still wasnt looked at) and again at 4 and they quick checked it and said I only needed oil and to hurry and get there because they would be closing soon. When I got there I was charged $45 for oil, and said it wasnt considered a repair so the $96 was just for the hell of it. They also did not call to tell me thats what the problem was before proceeding after knowing I spent $96 they are supposed to call before they do anything that would be additional cost. Nothing but a money hungry shop that doesnt give a damn about the customer. ID NEVER RECOMMEND

One of there guys says he don’t help people with disabilities. He don’t believe in them to get out of the store. Was a older white guy who said this. He had on glasses. Do not use this shop if your needing work done as they take parts off cars an put used on your car without asking you. Then charge you for things that you don’t even need.

Great place to get repair

I don’t know who these people are or what kind of shady business they are into. But, as soon as I interacted with them, I knew they were bias towards women. They tried to overcharge me 3 times more than my actual repair. Had I not did the proper research etc, it would’ve been an easy one on me. A good mechanic shop is someone you can trust with your vehicle. This place I do not. If you want quality work done and the appropriate prices for your repairs especially if you’re a woman or elderly then please do not chose this place. Save yourself the time and the money.

I do not recommend this place at all. My dad who is an elderly, took his car to this place to have several parts replaced. My dad purchased the parts new and brought them to them just to do the labor. The car continued to be a problem, decided to take it somewhere else and we found out that all of the parts my dad paid National Muffler to have replaced were the old parts. So what happened is that National Muffler took the old parts, cleaned them and put them back in. They kept the new parts my dad bought and charged my dad for a job they never did. This place is a ripoff.

I did a great job on my shocks

Very rude. Quoted me a price over the phone when I got there the price was $105 difference. Reasoning was because I have a v8 (which I stated over the phone). Then when I decided to go ahead With the service anyway they told me I had had to pay up front (which was different for me because I’ve always paid for services once the job was done) but again fine I went with it. So I only had the first quoted price on me and offered to give them that (which was more than half) and there responds was all or nothing. Just like like that. I’m like I have to give you the rest, You have my vehicle and key. The guy said nope he wants all. I gladly turn around and walk right out and drove right to dodge where I paid $200 more and received excellent service and costumer service.

I mean the guys were nice and all. I had a problem with my muffler and my car was pretty loud. I did not have to wait very long for them to get my car in (I went on a week day during the day time, no appointment). They didn’t charge me a price far off from what my dad said they would and once they were done my car was much quieter. BUT they didn’t fix the whole problem and now I’ll have to go somewhere again to fix something in the back of my muffler. I don’t think the guy was trying to check everything and wanted it to be super quick.

The man at the front counter was cordial at first but was rude and arrogant once he was away from the counter not standing in front of me. If youre going to be the arrogant tough guy than portray that consistently. Dont change once youre in the garage 30 ft away with the other employees! #Ridiculous

I had my car towed here within the past 2 weeks and I had to have my starter and battery replaced. This was my first time having work done here. This place is fantastic! Fast, efficient, high quality work at a reasonable price. They are very courteous and communicate with you along the way as to what they are doing. I park my car outside and my car started perfectly even in those insane below zero temperatures. I highly recommend them and I will be returning!

Went in without an appointment and my muffler was fixed in under an hour for nearly half what I expected. No lines about needing to replace all kinds of extra stuff or ordering any parts. The tech brought me into the garage to show me exactly what was wrong and then again to see the repairs. The staff was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Had three repairs done at National Muffler. The first was fine. The last two caused me more than pain. Both times repairs were welded too high (pipes knocked against frame) and I had to return so they could lower them. A long metal stick was used to bend pipes lower and way out of position. Two weeks after final repair my muffler made noise again. Welding on the first job had failed. When i returned, we were told it had to be replaced at our cost. When i brought up the yanking on the pipes i was asked (forcefully) to leave. Went to shop down the street and got an entirely new muffler system for half of what I had paid for the first three repairs, with a year warranty. Unprofessional, takes advantage. If you are looking for trustworthy people to help you with a problem you know nothing about, do not go to national muffler.

I replaced two muffler gaskets on my Lincoln town car on 4/9/19 they charged me $165 for this job,they said they giving me a great price because i fixed my other car at their shop before,it took them less than 35 minutes to complete the installation,after i left the shop i called Midas to compare the repair prices Midas gave me a $75 price doing exactly same job which upsets me a lot since the national muffler shop told me its a great deal,so i called them and explained to them the huge difference in prices asking them to adjust the price their answer was so funny,they said they had to use a heater gun in order to take the bolts out,this made no sense to me because the whole job took less then 35 minutes, they absolutely refused to adjust the price for me, Ill never gonna go back to this shop since they ripped me off, and I want to warn all my friends and people I know and encourage them to stay away from this shop.

A friend recommended National because of their excellent service. Brought my wifes Subaru Tribeca (hard to find parts for) in expecting a full exhaust system replacement but they were able to track down the y-pipe and replace that. Despite a lot of welding and an additional oil change, I was out in less than a few hours. Will be going here from now on

I left work this morning to have my muffler either repaired or replaced as it was hanging closed to the road. They repaired it for much less than I expected to pay and the service was very good. They earned a loyal customer today.

They overcharged and since I dont know much about the car and car parts they stole from me by charging too much for the parts and labor, what sucks is that Im from that community and Latino and they still stole from me. So please shop around dont make the mistake I made and dont go with the first place you find with decent reviews. Peace.

Great service. Had performance headers and high flow cats put. They did it quicker and cheaper than all other quotes I had on the work. They know what they are doing and they do their job very well. Could not be more statified with their service and work. My exhaust sounds amazing.

I called to get an estimate to get my muffler fix and I thought what a great price but when I got there it was a whole different story they kept telling me I need this and that always trying to add something to the list !! Got my car towed to National Muffler. I’ve went to them numerous times before and they did a excellent job. 2 days AFTER my car was dropped off nobody called me to notify me what the issue was with my car so I gave them a call. A guy answers and says “I thought someone called you”. If someone did I wouldn’t be calling 🙄. Anyways I Was told I needed a new transmission which would cost $3,500 but to wait until Monday to see if they could find a used one for cheaper. I said ok. Literally a little over 2 weeks go by and nothing. Nobody calls me to update me on the status of a used transmission. Fast forward to today Jan 21, 2019 I get a call asking what I wanted to do with my car. I’m confused. I’ve BEEN WAITING for a call with you guys in regards to a used transmission. This guy rudely talks over me and says yea it’s 3,500. I said all this time went by just for y’all to tell me the exact same price. I stated that I was told a new one would run me that price. He says a new one would be $8000. This was never discussed with me. Period. Then he goes on to say regardless of whatever someone told you I’m telling you now it’s 8,000. I’m so upset at their lack of communication among their staff and the way I was just talked to. So basically you guys have just been siting on my car doing absolutely nothing. I will never come there again.

Had a flat from a bad valve, and they were able to fix the issue. While the service wasnt super quick, I can understand the wait because of walking in.

I got a compete tune up for 2007 Jeep Compass beginning of March. My check engine light comes on mid April. I call to tell them about it. They are going to charge me $85 to check what I need...them charge if I need anything fixed....

We stopped in to have them look at my muffler on my 2007 Camry. We were in and out in less than an hour with the muffler fixed. They showed me the area that needed to be fixed, and after it was fixed, let me inspect their work. It was my first time doung business with them. I will definetly recommend them to my friends, but I do plan on using them for my future automotive needs.

I was recommended to try this place by my dad, who said he had a good experience here. My wifes car had some issues with the exhaust system, which made her corolla sound like a harley. We got a couple quotes from other shops and they ranged from $600-800 to do part replacements.I called National and asked if I could come in later in the day to get it checked out. They were very friendly on the phone, and said to bring it in and theyll see what they can do. Once I got there, Carlos got my car raised up and brought me under to show me the problem. He was able to fix it with welding in a new pipe where a connection had come loose. $90 and I was out of there in 20 minutes, and I could barely hear my car running at all. I will definitely be returning for future work.

I called this place and they told me I could come in for an alignment. I drove 11 mins there (I know, not far, but still a waste of a drive when you need something.) and was told they weren’t taking any more people.

Went in needing some pretty significant exhaust repair (2 new sections, one on cat and on by y-pipe, and hole in muffler) and they took a look right away and started working on it. Within an hour and a half they had all the repairs done including a new muffler. All for under $250.

Good work but slow

These guys were good for me. I asked them to put a straight pipe in to replace my broken catalytic converter because my car is pre-1996 and doesnt need to pass emissions. They did it for me. Later they replaced a broken muffler for $210 or less. All their repairs have been done right the first time and have lasted.
