Talented artist and barista, Shawn, is super knowledgeable about his crafts and a delight to talk to.This place is truly special! I highly recommend trying the Blue Magic latte ☕️ and sampling some craft beer 🍺.

Really great espresso drinks and excellent customer service. Went in for the first time the other day not knowing what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. I believe I was talking to the owner, and he seemed lovely. Also seemed like a nice place to hang out. Would definitely recommend!

The interior is super cool and chill; cool art, super awesome aesthetic, and 90s rap playing. *If youre a bob Ross fan, they have it playing on the TV all the time* They also have games and books to read; I got super excited seeing a bunch of goosebumps books there.We went there to get coffee. I got an iced coffee with a shot of caramel syrup in it, and it was very good. It was high quality coffee that was roasted right; bad and/or burned coffee makes me sad lol.We met the owner (hes the one that made us our coffees) and hes super cool as well. He told us the background about the place while he showed us the whole store.He also HAS AN ADORABLE DOG NAMED SALVADOR!!!!

Shawn is the best host ever! Awesome place to chill and hang out with friends. Don’t forget to visit Gigi in the back as well. She does readings in the back room, but would have to make appt. Shawn and Gigi designs are one of kind and can’t miss out on hoodies and t-shirts, before they run out though.

Honestly cant believe this place isnt talked about more. First time here with my girlfriend, and our friend, and we werent disappointed at all. The guy behind the counter was super nice, and really knows how to make amazing coffee. The whole vibe of the place is like nothing around here.

Place was great, needed good coffee after working in the area and this fit perfectly. Owner was friendly and we felt very welcome. I got to sit and talk to a friend for 4 hours. We both got a latte shared a hookah and espresso. They checked in occasionally offering fresh coals while we talked. The owners recommendations of things were all very good. This is definitely going on the list of the best places I have ever been to.

I came to Dream Lab for the first time ever on Thursday after being referred by a friend who is a frequent visitor. I can say with confidence that Dream Lab has quickly become one of my favorite local spots in Milwaukee. I have been back three times since Thursday because I have had such a great experience. Dream Lab has something for everyone, whether you are looking for coffee, drinks, hookah, local art or even a place to get some work done. As someone who is 21 months sober from alcohol I can say it is difficult at times to find places in the city that are very inclusive to non-alcohol drinkers and I am excited to share that the owner Shawn has created an environment where everyone can feel comfortable and can have a great time. I am absolutely going to be a regular here and can not wait to share this hidden gem with my friends and coworkers.

Good selection of teas, and my boyfriend said his latte was delicious. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Was hoping for some bakery items based on the pictures, but alas there were only prepackaged snacks like granola bars.

I am visiting from Atlanta heading to the Bills-Packers game tomorrow and headed straight here from the airport based on reviews online. I could not have been more pleased with the welcome I received from the owner and his patrons.The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, with amazing artwork. This is a hidden gem in the Walker’s Point district and I highly recommend it to the locals or anyone visiting Milwaukee!

Typical east side cafe comes to the south side of town. Nice to relax and vape, but dont count on the pastry. Up and coming, the demand hasnt required much in supply.

Ive been curious about this place for months since I walk my dog past it most days. My SO and I found ourselves in the neighborhood last evening and stopped in.We were warmly greeted and quickly served by an ultra-casual employee and made our way to some window seats to read and do some coloring in the available adult coloring books.The entire space lives up to the name - Dream Lab - with local art on the walls, a fantastic mural and plenty of drawing prompts/journals, creative games, and the like to inspire the day dreamer or inner artist. More than that, it felt like a real hangout - even a living room - where folks can be themselves and have some beverages while doing so. Its not a coffee shop or bar, merely a space where those are available (and inexpensive). I will be back as often as I can.

Dream Lab is quite the hidden gem in an up and coming neighborhood in Milwaukee. The detail that went into every single aspect of this place speaks to the quality atmosphere - from the unique tables with artsy chains hanging down the leg, to the custom coffee bar and beautiful full-wall mural - youll feel like youre in someones art studio. The music is always on point and really sets the vibe for the whole coffee shop. There is a rotating bathroom gallery where photographry from a local artist is featured and displayed, as well as a temporary gallery in the back room, and staple art hanging in the main lounge.What really makes this place amazing and unique is the open, friendly, and caring owner. He makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk in the door and is really the main reason people come back over and over again.Check this place out!
