They charge $3 just to walk on the lot. Didnt know that. They tried to charge me about $3 for insurance, i told them to take that off. Also! when I called the price was $13. When checking out it was $18. And on top of all this, the 2 guys who work at the service counter, arent professional at all. So, minus all of this! my experience including phone conversation was pretty good.

We where quoted a price on the phone ( 1800#) cause you cant talk to the actual location and honestly I dont think you want to they where very rude and not helpful.So we removed an entire box to an s10 brought it to the front only to find out the quoted price was half of what they wanted to charge for the part and actually was the same price as buying it new, then they snatched my wifes purse out of her hand to search it, wow very rude obviously found nothing but her belongings .we left the part we pulled mostly out of principle that obviously their is no gauge on what is charged for parts other then whaT the counter person decides, in addition they tried putting 15% tax on the item last time I check wisconsin is 5.6 but I guesse when your scamming people you make the rules, I will be going back to stuertavent auto as they are honest and fair

First time there and service was great, they even gave me location to the vehicles I was looking for and got the part I was looking for.

Never call the call center when getting prices. They dont include core, tax and warranties. Always confirm pricing with the staff.

Scheduled appointment for them to come get my car. They gave me 1 1/2 hour time frame. I called day of appointment to confirm. I was told they would call about an hour before they were to arrive. I never received a call. I waited the hour and a half and then called to check and the woman who answered wasn’t very interested in helping me. She said they were a little behind and when I pushed for more of a time frame she said she would have someone call me. I never got a call. I called again 20 mins before closing and no one answered. Terrible service

Drove 4 hours as their web site showed they had 3 cars in the yard for a shaft we were looking for. Of course 1-800 number couldn’t give us a direct number which would have been a waste of time anyhow since the front desk gentleman is less than knowledgeable. He could have saved us the hassle when we checked in by letting us know they basically damage the shafts here. NEVER again!

Wow! What a hike!The make and model of the car I needed a part for was as far back in the junkyard as one can go. I got my part, though, so its all good. I probably needed the exercise anyway being all cooped up in the house for the last 5months. The fresh air almost killed me, however.

Place is a dump parts all over the place.

These guys are always great and have a constantly rotating stock of late model vehicles.Found a car with a complete interior that was in perfect condition for a car that we were changing out the interior on.

I went in to look for my elderly friend who was taking an unusually long time to get his parts(self service remember) and he has had one stroke already so I was worried. When I went in to tell them and ask of i could look around, the guy told me its $3 to get onto the yard i was like what if he has a medical emergency out there. Is your $3 still important???? Not a good policy.Eventually, he did let me in. All ended well. But they did NOT have the dodge part he was looking for.

Todays experience was ok. The employee that was ringing me up was good and friendly. The rewards program is nothing the employee was interested in doing. This is the second trip that was not registered.

Car were arrange very nicely. They have a good selection of all vehicles. Just an FYI no one under the age of 16 allowed.

Make sure you check receipt they are charging for a extended warranty without asking like normal stores would.

Cheap prices good employees and everytime you go there its like your at a demolition derby.

Nice Yard, It is a bit cluttered between cars, as people just discard what they do not need on the grounds. The inventory is well organized. i like the yard. They do not tell you of an extra charge on your purchase. An environmental NON-REFUNDABLE fee is automatically added to your part cost. I wasnt told about it, came to return a part and was given $10 back over what I paid. I walked back in from the parking lot. The guy had already a prepared answer to the environmental fee, NO, I said. You gave me back too much money! He reaches and snatches a 10 dollar bill from my hands. Then explains I am charged the fee. So being honest cost me 2 bucks? I asked. He said No, it is a fee. If you ever walk out with too much change back, just keep walking, they arent as honest as you would think. Their true colors show at the refund counter.

They charge $3 entry fee. They told me the car has parts on it, when i get there the parts have been removed and i walked out empty handed but i lost $3. Please find a different junk yard this place is not customer friendly. Also i went over to their after market window and i was quoted 100% for the part i was looking for online its $45 and they quoted me $96. Its just unfair business practices. If anyone knows other junk yards please comment below and let us know.

When you call they really hipe up the inventory. When i got ther they were not sure the part was even there. However you can gamble and pay 3 dollars to find out the part was not in stock. The counter people were kind of rude and act a little clueless.

I will never go through this place again and order a part. I order a transmission. The transmission was no good. I had a six months warranty. They wouldnt even honor it.i just got it put in two months ago. They lied about miles saying they only cover up to 6 thousand miles. But it was all lies. Wouldnt recommend a friend or a dog. Dont come here for business you are better off going somewhere else that will honor the warranty and treat you with respectful.

My friend called a guy about his junk car. And quoted a price until showed up at his office. He was immediately changing his stories and price changed to extremely low. Very unsatisfied. If you want have a better price, go find else.

New part $158. At LKQ part was $12.00 used + The $3.00 fee to walk the yard, $25.00 at other places for the same used part. Would have gave 5 stars but better directions on locating the car would have been nice but I still found the parts car in less than 10 min. Best to take some boots with in sloppy weather if you like to keep your floors clean in your ride after picking your parts, Take your own tools :)

Well organized lot, great prices. I would recommend bringing boots especially if it had rained in the last couple days. Large puddles like to form around the cars.

Paying top dollar for used parts if you are lucky enough to find it! Cars are listed that are not there, the yard is a mess to say the least with car parts laying everywhere and the unfriendly cashiers that cant crack a smile. Those older workers you had were much better.

Arrived there at 4:42, was told they are closed when the posted hours are open till 5pm by a not very pleasant man. Just needed to see if they had the hood I needed in the yard, would come back next day. He finally let me in but told me if Im not out in 3 minutes he is locking me in. Not cool.

I read the reviews first before going to lkq and some were unfavorable so I was hesitant at first going but there was a door panel I needed for my 04 envoy. EBay had it listed from $85 to $100 and lkq had it for $17. When I called the lady I spoke to was very nice. When I got there the guy at the counter was very helpful. The first envoy I looked at was missing the door panel so I went to the lkq website on my phone and found another envoy listed only one row over and to my surprise it had the door panel in perfect shape. There was some mention in prior reviews about wearing boots there because it can be muddy. I didnt bring boots and it was muddy but I zigged zagged here and there and made it through.

I used to like going thier because the prices used to be fair and to me they are not anymore...so I will be shopping around for my parts.

I called to get a quote on my car since it had been in a accident and would’ve cost more to fix it than to get a new car. But after telling the guy on the phone about the car he quoted me $50 bucks. I would get that just for selling two pieces off the car. I understand that they have to make a profit but that’s just robbery.

They quoted me 400$ for my truck lol other junk yard over 2,000. It is mint and running . Just trying to get rid of it. No rust no dents . They asked for my name and number and very little about car b4 given a quote.. this place is a joke.

I’ve been going to this place since I was a kid, always had great service and fun people working there until yesterday at 4:17 p.m. I knew they closed at 5:00 p.m but I figured I’d call since it was getting dark early, I asked what time they stop letting people in the yard and I was told 4:30 p.m. I took a 30 min ride for a small part I could not find in any part stores! I show up at 4:17 to sign in and pay and this guy at the computers had the most rude and nasty attitude “you have three mins to go back ther and I’m kicking you out” I just called and was told you stop letting people in at 4:30 “I don’t care I find you and you are out of here I wanna go home”Good way to lose a loyal customer.

Their 1-800 # ask way to many questions to give a quote. I have call 5 other locations in the Milwaukee area and was only asked, “Do I need a tow or will I deliver the car?”. Asking for full name, full address and phone before an estimate value of your car isn’t necessary. Next thing happens my phone will get flooded with unwanted soliciting. REALLY! People dont bother calling them. Also their recorded message doesn’t guarantee no soliciting of information once they receive it.

Got to the yard paid my $2 and walked to the MOPAR section, after walking all through the section no luck finding this mythical 2005 Grand Cherokee. On my way back to leave, still holding out hope. When looking at the year make and model scrawled on the side of the vehicles, i noticed one said it was a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.....yeah, not so much 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee listed as a 2005 both online and written on the vehicle (the vehicle identification sticker being 5 feet away, thats just lazy)

To all auto recyclers do not be fooled have you notice fake 1 star reviews on your page. It is a1 junk cars. Besides making up fake bad reviews on our sites he will for example give you a 1 star and with same user name give a 5 Star to another scrap place so you think its them when all along its a1. When customers call you please instruct them about how bad a1 is anf have tbem look up precious murphy he is bating other scrap places against each other....a 5 star to all since they made up fake 1 stars on us pass the word look what they did to the victims. It was easy to find the car part i needed and the price was less than i expected.

I have saved thousands of dollars at the LKQ in Oak Creek plus the employees there are very repectful and friendly. Returning parts that did not fit or did not function has never been a problem so long one does it before the warranty expioration date! I recommend the place to every one. The $3.00 entry charge is nothing compare to the savings. People, remember we live in a world full of rules; follow the rules and you will be as happy as I am with the LKB location! :-)

I found a good quantity of the part I was looking for. The lot is huge, so there is a wide variety of cars, beware shattered glass from the cars, as they may cut you as they did me when I entered one car.

Do not go here, I called them and asked if they had the part I was looking for they said yes after I went in looked all over didnt find it they said ohhh sorry we dont do part check so this is after I paid to get in now $2 is not a big deal but wasting my time not giving rite information is. And if they have 100 people go in for no reason well guess what they just made $200 for lying to u. I would suggest another place not them.

Here I am, I have been in need of a part for some time now and after checking their web site and hours (claiming to be open until 5 pm) decide to take the 50 mile trip to this place yesterday. The gate was locked at 4 pm and was not able to get in. WASTE OF TIME AND GAS! I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE OR RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE! THANKS FOR UPDATING YOUR HOURS

I did a lot of reading of reviews about LKQ and there are LOT of bad reviews. But I thought I would try them at least once for my self and then decide for my self. I called the 800 number and they told me $220. for the truck I would bring in. I got there and and the lady told me $140 and just ignored me when I told her what I was quoted on the phone. In the short time I was there There were three guys that I guess when they got there were told a price and now that they had pulled the parts they wanted The cashier was telling them a higher price. So I will never and I mean never go back to this place .

Dont ever accidentally stay a few min too late on a sat. Was looking at something, didnt have time and was waiting to hear a holler but none. Looked in door saw no one, saw it was 5 after closing, couldnt get out, cut my finger, dude finally opens the door and said how u get in hear. Duh, I paid 3$ and got in a half hour ago. Got the thats what U get attitude. Guess I should of brought a watch, but they could of made sure everyone was out. Not worth the $5 part I was looking for and didnt find when their site said they had. Too bad instead of taking my $3 they couldntnt of just said Sorry were closing soon. Anyway ya get what U pay for I guess. Too old for that crud and never had much success their anyway. Ill stick with Big Als on Jansville. Way better customer service. Took my kid their once they went and got us the part cuz no kids allowed in yard. The staff on the phone had no idea what they were talking about. Said the vehicle I was looking for multiple times and still they didnt get it right. Once they figured out I was looking for 97 Honda Civic they couldnt figure out what a shock was. Then didnt know what a strut was. You need a different job at this point. Like making food maybe.
