I cannot rave about this place enough. I barely made it to this auto shop because my car was breaking down. I came in at the end of the day, walked into the shopAnd was directed towards Bill. I explained my situation and asked him if I could leave my car with him overnight. He agreed and said he would call me the next day. When I spoke with him, he said he could not find anything outwardly wrong with my car and that it was driving fine for himAnd asked me if he could keep it one more day to double check for me. I said sure, thankful that he wasnt going to send me away with no news on why my car lost power driving on the highway. The next day he called me in the morning and said maybe it was this part BUT he wanted me to call my dealer and ask them if I had a warrenty for it first because he didnt want to charge me for something that might be free. Called my dealer and sure enough I had three recalls, one of which fixed my problem for free. When I picked up my car from him he laid it out for me to only pay this much at the dealer (before I knew it was going to be free) and if it was more than that call him back because he might be able to give me a better deal. He then asked me to update him regardless of what they said. He refused to take any money from me and let me walk out of there with no charge even though he took two days to look at my car. Im so grateful I found this place and didnt have someone ripping me off, because that has definitely happened to me as a female. No question I will be back to this place for future services.

Good auto shop. Good with both foreign and American vehicles. They like to be paid in cash but they do work with you and try to do the best job they can based on what you can pay.

Bought a 2008 BMW 535XI that need alot of work.A Valve cover and Gasket,New Spark Plugs,6 New Injectors,A New Gasket on The Oil Filter Housing,A/C need a new Compressor,ect,ect.I went to BMW and they told me to do myself a favor and find a Import Mechanic.So i talked to a friend that had a new motor put in his Audi.He told me go to GT and talk to Dave.So i brought in my car and not only did i get great prices but Dave got me in right away and explained evey single detail.All i can say is i will not take my car anywhere else.I live in Rockford,il and travel a hour and a half.well worth it.

Very fair prices actually took car in on Saturday but was told it was to late for him to start and finish explained to me car probably wouldnt be ready until Monday evening and to my surprise called me Sunday before noon and said it was done, GREAT work at affordable prices!
