The associate was very welcoming as soon as he open the door. I had an exchange and he was very helpful. I found what I wanted and he took care of me and I was on my way.

The curly-haired gentleman working was THE best customer service agent Ive met in ages. He was by himself and informative. He was taking care of customers while simultaneously redecorating the store, and he was wonderful. The store was well organized, well lit, and easy to find. Best Hot Topic Ive ever been to and outstanding service. Cant wait to go back. Thanks!

Always close 15-20 min before they are supposed to. Long wait in lines. Had 1 cashier ringing out 5 ppl while the other does nothing.

This Hot Topic is my favorite one to go to. Even though I am closer to the Hobart/Merriville location, I make it a point to drive to this Hot Topic. All my orders that I ship to store go to the Michigan City store. I find the staff nicer and more helpful. The store is always clean. The staff is friendly and recognizes me as someone who comes in a lot. Honestly I do more shopping in stores than online for Hot Topic simply because the amazing staff at the Michigan City store.

Brought my wife and daughter here today and they both said they carry the same thing shear as they do at all the other Hot Topic stores and it was supposed to be an outlet store were you get better discounts and it was not. On a brighter note the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products thats why I gave them three stars. Also the store was very neat clean and orderly.

Love the staff. Super friendly and helpful. Frequent shopper and am always happy when I leave. If they dont have what I want in store, they are always quick to order online.

The staff at the Michigan City, IN location is absolutely incredible. Theyre super helpful compared to other Hot Topics Ive been to in the past. The only drawback Id say is that Id like to see more silicone gauges at this location. There wasnt much of a selection. Everything else was great though.

I have went to the outlet store 5 times in the last month to get some clothes for my daughter... they have been closed everytime even though online they say they are open.. such an inconvenience to drive 45 minutes for them to be closed... disappointed and aggravated

Prices are always a little on the heavy side. But I will say the Michigan City location is small, warm and welcoming. They always have some deal going on at the Lighthouse Mall. Much less picked over than the Merrillville location & the staff is MUCH friendlier! My teenage son was able to find anime/manga apparel that fir his style & I found a few really great horror genre ts that fit my style. 👍

Love this store the ppl are so kind and funny. They have bt21 merch whitch makes this place my favorite store and Im glad and they have so much like anime and BTS pop figures and that!
