I just discovered Brownies while trying to get a Fleet Vehicle fixed. After assuring that Brownies was able to work on my vehicle the staff ran a diagnostics check and then discovered that the issues with my vehicle were covered under warranty, they called to let me know so I could get the issue fixed by the warranty rather than paying for it. I love honest business practices I will definitely will be bringing more business to Brownies both from my fleet and my personal vehicles. Thanks for being a company I can trust.

Transmission was slipping on our ‘99 Dodge Ram 2500. Took it to Brownies Independent Transmission shop, and they did an outstanding job. We needed essentially an entire transmission rebuild, and these guys handled our older truck with a level of care and professionalism that’s difficult to find these days. Prices seemed very fair for the amount of work they did. Some of the best money we ever spent on this truck honestly. Transmission running as good as new, and we’re very happy with our experience at Brownies.

Tried to charge me over 6k for a job that I got done for 2400 at another shop

They rebuilt the transmission on my 2006 Buick rendezvous over the summer and it’s working better than the day I purchased the car! I wanted to give the car a few months before I left a review to be sure but these guys are reasonable priced, and make sure the job is done well. Something happened with the radiator while they were working on the car and they replaced it at not cost! Thank you guys for saving my car and me the hassle of finding a new ride!I called them an hour before they closed after the transmission died on me and they sent the tow truck over in less than an hour and I had an answer to the problem within a few days!

We LOVE our 2005 Pilot, so when the transmission had issues, we feared it was time for a new car. After having a local repair shop tell us they would need to replace our transmission with a rebuilt one, we decided to let Brownies IT take a look, figuring if were going to invest thousands in our older car, we might as well have someone do it that does this type of work all the time. Brownies IT rebuilt our transmission at a lower cost than the local shop bid and we could not be happier with the work. The car runs great and feels like it did when it was new.

While their Beavercreek location is great, the job done on my transmission at this shop was completely fouled up. I had to take it to their Beavercreek shop after they screwed it up. The Beavercreek shop had to start completely over, but that shop did a fantastic job. Id steer clear of this shop and use Brownies in Beavercreek.

Did a great job fixing my transmisson in a quick time frame, I went to the IT transmisson in Miamisburg, very friendly!!

Communication is not that good but other than that fantastic

I can not express the amount of gratitude I have for the guys at Brownies, especially the Shop Manager Jeff. While I was taking my family on vacation we were driving through Dayton OH on on way up north. Out of no where our transmission goes out. Stuck on the side of the road. I called the first place I could find in the yellow pages and it was Brownies Independent Transmission. Their Miamisburg location. After explaining my situation to Jeff over the phone he was a miracle worker. He not only got our car towed to his location, he came out personally and took my family to a hotel right away. He told me being a family man himself, there would be no way he would let us sit there waiting on the side of the road with small children. He knew we were in a bad situation, being on vacation and all, Jeff was able to put a rush on the work and had us back on the road and on our vacation in less than 48 hours. They are fantastic. And their parts and labor rates are by far the best in the area. After getting home from our trip, I did some price checking both in my hometown and in the Dayton area, they came in way below anybody! Again, just Fantastic!

I got my wheel bearings replaced here. Great service, honest work and reasonable cost. It was a pleasure dealing with them. They even pointed out some other problems in the car I did not know existed. I would highly recommend this place. I think they do more than just transmission, but I am not sure.

I have an 05 Toyota Prius, took it to Brownies because I thought it needed transmission work. Turned out, it was not a transmission problem at all but an engine misfire. Thanks guys for being honest. Would recommend!!!

Jeff went out of his way to take care of my wifes brakes. First class!

Stopped in because my truck was acting up engine screaming, was given a good price for a rebuilt transmission, few days later I was rolling again and felt like driving my truck like new again. Great helpful team of guys and sales manager was nice in person and on the phone, was notified when my truck was worked on and when was about to be ready for pick up. Told my friend to go there, they do engine work too.

After a frustrating morning with a car issue I ran into Jeff and his crew. His staff was awesome and help me get back on the road faster then I could imagine. Thanks guys
