Mr.doorman and their team exceeded my expectations during my last two projects. After having dealt with numerous non responsive / unprofessional companies, I was pleasantly surprised with their customer service and knowledge of the city codes that needed to be followed in my area. I have used Mr Doorman for several projects and spent tens of thousands of dollars there. On the most recent project however, they have disappointed me in every regard. I hired them to install new doors on a 10 unit building. On two of the doors after the installation was complete the frames were very loose to the point that I could move them back and forth over an inch. They had to come back twice to fix this but it is hard to imagine an installer would leave it like that to begin with. Very sloppy. Finally, I am also very disappointed with customer service or lack of. I called today because a tenant complained of water leaking into the door and also some issues with the installation of the threshold as well as a security door that was not installed properly as it does not close on its own. My call was treated as a nuisance and they seemed to have zero interest in fixing the problem. I literally just hung up the phone, incredulous at what I was hearing. As a small business owner myself I cannot understand this type of reaction. The right thing is to first get it right the first time and if not to do whatever is necessary to fix it and do so cheerfully. A customer is never an inconvenience. I definitely will not be using them again which is unfortunate for them as I have many other projects in the pipeline. I dont even care if the price is more it is worth any price to have a company that stands behind their work.

These guys are amazing ! I attempted to install a doggie door but was unsuccessful, I cracked one of my patio glass doors. After calling a number of vendors, only to leave a messages, and or not make contact with anyone, I reached out to Mr. Door Man.I spoke to Julia who was very professional, supportive and assured me they can remedy the situation if given the opportunity. In short, they had a door in stock, send an installer to survey the situation, and the next day I had a new door installed, to include the doggie door.I highly recommend them for all your doors or window needs.JC

Julia and the whole mr.doorman crew were nothing but superb from start to finish. I own a 6 unit building in coral gables that needed new doors and windows through out. Their tech AJ (knowledgeable clean cut man) came out measured and throughly explained all aspects and steps of our project. He answered all our questions and left us worry free from the second we started talking. Fast forward to the end of the project: everything delivered and installed in a timely and professional manner, permits and inspections all passed swiftly and without a hiccup. To say the least If you need windows and doors look no more.

The best doors, door hardware & great, knowledgeable, polite customer care. Their door packages are awesome & COMPLETE. Not easy to find that combination for doors. Great prices too! My wife & I will be back to get our interior doors as well. I highly recommend them.

We ordered a beautiful impact fiberglass entry door in Modern Mahogany semigloss which Mr Door Man came and installed back in Jan. 2017. It hasnt been a year many areas of the semi-glass and the paint have faded, some areas even show red color marker like spots as if they tried to use it to do the cover ups. At the time of ordering they suggested us to pay more for the better paint by Sherwin Williams to have it to last longer. We left several messages to the office to the owner Julia since Jan. 2018 with never a return on my phone calls. I was able to finally get a chance to talk to her over the phone in March, she had her husband, Alex, came to our house to ck it out, he told us that this problem shouldnt happen, he was going to send the painter to come to repaint it again. One wk went by with no hearing from them, I made numerous calls spoken with the office assistant Marcy, and sent the same email number of times with no response. You think buying from a smaller co. will get a better personalized service, well definitely NOT from this co.! Alex is never in the office, Julia is constantly busy with ONLY the new customers, the office assistant works as an answering machine, dont expect you will get any kind of response from them if you paid them in full.

Unfortunately I have to chage my review for this place. I bougth my door pay for it full in advance, and the date the told me ti pick up, the door wasnt ready and the second time the paint on the door was damage it seens like the paint was not dry and it was all sticky. They should have let me know it was not ready. Not happy at all. Be carefull!

Treated us extremely well.We have a small home in the area. Went door shopping at the big boxes. Did not find anything we liked. Went to this small shop in the neighborhood, not expecting much.The showroom is small but shows a variety of exterior doors. We found a metal/impact glass door. The young lady was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.We bought a custom door and a Baldwin lock set with installation included. They told us that it would take 4 to 6 weeks. They called us at week four to coordinate installation on week five. The installer (Sam) showed up as scheduled, was respectful of our time and did a great job.A few days later we felt that the door needed a minor adjustment. We called and they sent another young man (Alex jr) the very next morning. He was prompt and professional... diagnosed and corrected the problem promptly.They are not cheap... but then again “GoodWork ain’t cheap and generally cheap work ain’t good.”I’d recommend these folks to anyone who wants a quality door and quality workmanship

Im very satisfied with all the Mr Door Man employees that work in my home. I was very happy with Alex who went out of his way to make sure to complete the work to my satisfaction. I love that I was able to communicate with him in Spanish, I have received many compliments from family and friends of how beautiful my Door look in my home, I recommend Mr Doorman highly for their prices and their professionalism.

I called the company, scheduled a visit to my house. Alex, the owner, came on time took measures for my the doors and the windows. He is very knowledgeable. He gave me recommendations and options. He even adjusted a door that I had installed recently; which was not closing right. No charge. On the same day I went to his office. He showed me the doors and windows. I picked the one I liked. He asked for 75% down payment. I would not give no more than 35% to any contractor, but with Alex it feels like family. I am still waiting for his call to schedule an installation day. I will share my experience with you once the job is done. I will support that with few photos.

I am disgusted by the service I received today on the phone. I purchased an $1100 outdoor tempered glass door on a fiberglass frame and had it finally picked up last week to install. Once I realized that the door frame was ordered as well without need for it, I contacted them to attempt to return it. The owner Julia continuously denied my request to return a piece that wasn’t used since I only needed the actual door. I understand the frame only added $100-$150 to the price but if I don’t need it then it doesn’t matter how small the amount is, I should be able to return it. SHE LITERALLY TOLD ME “IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU’RE DESPERATE FOR MONEY.” I am appalled at how this place is still in business. If I was desperate for money, would I have just spent $1100 on a door? I don’t think so. I could’ve gone to FPG, or Home Depot but I chose a neighborhood store because I felt supporting local businesses was the right thing to do. I will literally never recommend them to anyone and never use them again. I am disgusted with the use of their derogatory comments towards paying customers. No wonder that place looks like it’s falling apart.BETTER DEALS AT FPG!

Happy you all had such wonderful experiences. We went into Mr. Door Man about a decade ago to purchase a new front door. The service was abominable. We had to wait forever before anyone even looked in our direction, and the store had no other customers. They then said they would call us as they did not have the door we wanted available. Lets just say we are still waiting for that call, and we ourselves called back twice. The impression I got was that they had no interest in selling to anyone - period. I have never experience such a lackadaisical attitude. We went elsewhere, will never go back or recommend them to anyone.

2nd time I purchase from here. Definitely the best prices and quality in all of Miami. I first ordered a frosted glass door for my hallway bathroom to allow light to filter since I have no windows in the hall. I believe it took about a month since it was special order. I recently ordered my entrance impact doors and I couldnt be more satisfied. I gave the deposit and the door was ready 2 months later just like they promised since it was a special order as well. Daimy from Mr.Doorman was very helpful with the measurements and all aspects of the order. She sent someone right away to confirm the measurements I gave her. The installation team was great and worked very fast! They cleaned up and hauled the old doors away. I also ordered a custom fire rated door that should be ready by the end of this month.

Front door lock broke, called them and they were here in less than 2 hours. Issue resolved and covered under warranty. No hassle. Great experience!

I purchased last year my front door from Julia at Mr Door man and I was very pleased with their knowledge and expertise, and again today I had two new impact resistant doors installed. I want to thank you for the purchase and the installation, I am very happy with the over all experience including the fair prices.

Please do not waste your time in doing business with this very inferior and unprofessional company. All they are interested in is taking your credit card for payment. Had door installed 93 days ago and was told told by the owner need to be charged for adjustment. Door not sealing properly. She advised me of rules and regulations and told me to flip over my contract and read the fine print. I could see if the door was installed6 months to a year ago. Give me a break! At time of purchase assured me she was not typical of Miami businesses because she is from a DIFFERENT AREA. However, it turns out be she is in the wrong business altogether and should not be dealing with consumers of any kind. Would rate below zero but system will not allow.

The quality is great, second time I bought a door from them due to quality. However, first door, first problem. Second time happened again. The door was bought in July 2018 and still dealing with the instalation issues.

Do not pay in full until all work is complete. I have contacted Julia and Alex several times so they can send someone out to complete the job after the county inspection was completed. It has been several months now and nothing. Im not on their priority list cause the permit is closed and they got PAID IN FULL. Thought I was dealing with a nice family business and instead got burned.Fueron pagados y no cumplieron el trabajo.

Drove by this business today and was going to call for a quote - glad I did some research. Although there may be some exaggerations to these stories and not every customer will be a satisfied customer, there is clearly a problem with the service provided by this company.... can be seen by their response to a very vague comment. I dont know what your talking about, you have never been a customer as a matter of fact you are a accounting firm that over bills your service outside of what has been agreed on. so if anyone has a bad business practice is your firm. Take some ownership dude and apologize it would look better. REVIEWS MATTER AND HOW YOU HANDLE THEM MATTERS EVEN MORE!

16 yrs ago i bought a gorgeous front door at a great price from mr doorman. Thurs i bought a side door from mr doorman, which they installed today. Excellent service and products.
