I am building a custom house in Lake Placid Fl. Owner Builder. Installed Eco windows. As you can see the windows were order almost 2 years ago. The rep ordered an incorrect windo size due to a computer that resizes each time she entered the sizes. Not realizing this I signed off and had to pay $380 additional for the wrong size window.Go to pick up windows a year after ordering. Tge are unable to come up with my order called a week in advance to ensure all is good. Nope $175.00 per day rental truck returned cost $250 plus Eco delivers them to Lake Placid $300 now $930 wasted but the windows are delivered. 3 months to install windows. Left plastic on the windows finally ready to remove the plastic awe what a beautiful view of the lake . The front windows are awesome except one. The slider has a very weird crack! No other window has a crack. Look how many windows were installed.The windows were never mis treated and tge cleaning crew found the crack and believe they heard the glass crack during a very cold rain shower during a 105 degree heat wave which is most likely the only way the window could have cracked since there is no impact as seen in the photos!In addition one glass door window rubber seal is leaking allowing water into the frame into the inside of the house. Both of these issues seem clearly Eco windows manufacturing issues.I was told that Frank I believe the owner would not help with warranty on these 2 issues. Imagine they bought PGT their competitors. PGT gives great warranty service Pino was also customer oriented. Why is ECO being so difficult when they know these issues come up and it is obviously not installers error?Waiting on the Manager From Eco windows to return my call! This is a simple fix. Btw their glass sliding doors are know to have locking mechanism issues. I have replaced 2 already and tge house is not in daily use. The locks are ver delicate! Let’s see if Eco solves these issues and it doesn’t cost me another $1000 dollars. That would mean their warranty is really bad! We shall see.Update spoke to sales manager she said the warranty is 3 years on Eco windows and did not cover a crack for the glass. However she would talk to her service department and have them order the glass! I will update this review and change my opinion based on the service requestDate 09/15/2021 waiting!

This is an update of the service request made to ECO windows in September. Their retail distributor Unity Windows came to the rescue and fixed the one cracked window which was awesome. The service personnel also fixed the glass door that was not sealed from the factory. A small error but repaired and they went on to check and repair a set of rollers on one of the glass doors that we had no idea was an issue.Thank you Frank. your success will be determined by these great folks you have handling the service issues after insulation. Paola Gomez is great she followed up and was very pleasant to deal with. Yosavanys Gomez at Unity window was the best. We are now completely satisficed with the ECO windows and hope they will provide a lifetime of safety and security!BTW it should be noted the service technicians came from Miami all the way up to Lake Placid florida to make these repairs 2.5 hour drive from Miami up and Back in one day. The dedication and competency both service technicians displayed was above reproach. They deserve a pay raise Frank. Good people are hard to find!Thank you all at ECO Window Mfg and Unity Window I can say without hesitation Unity Window can do a great job if you need hurricane impact windows. Best of luck with the transition and purchase of PGT Windows an impressive action by ECo to by its number one competitor. We bought an expensive door in 2019. I sent 17 emails and my door is still broken. The customer service is the worst at all

This is a wonderful company! We received an estimate from Alfredo who was extremely professional and explained the process to us in detail. After a couple of months, we received a call that our impact windows were ready to be installed. The company came in 2 days and completed the job in 1 day. The lead installer, Alejandro, was very nice and meticulous in his work. Their works are very kind and detailed. They cleaned up after they installed each window. We recommend this company 100%. Thank you Eco Window Systems for an amazing job!

Do not trust this company. They will tell you one thing and then do another. I visited the show room in Miami and proceeded to look at all that was to offer. After going through there complete line I purchased the most expensive item the Bi-Fold doors with low E glass. Once I paid all the money, I was informed that the door does not include the SCREEN. Funny they show it that way in the show room as well as all the windows. The French doors they do not show with screen, Which I purchased knowing I would not get them.When my wife asked the manager Ms Paola if the screens were included, she was told YES. I purchased the Bi-fold doors, because of the screen system. Its funny everything else comes with the screens. When I inquired about it, I could never get the manager on the phone and when I finally got a price I was told it would be an extra 5000 dollars for the 2 Bi-folds screens. Bait and switch do not trust them and make sure everything I mean everything, including how they pack your items is clearly written down. I spent almost 30,000 dollars for S... treatment. Horrible people……PS I have pictures to show that it is not stated anywhere about the screens not being includedResponse to Eco windows CommentAll though the response to my post was that the screens are made in Nevada my complaint is when I asked if they were included I was told YES.Also when My friend went in to get the pictures They were also told YES the screens were included

I have been a dealer for Eco for years and I can say with confidence they are a great company that provides an excellent product and follows up with great service.

The worst customer service. This is going to be the 2nd glass pane we will have to replace because it “bleeds” in between the panels. It was a mission to get the first one replaced and now I have to do it again!

UPDATE: Apparently the original company was bought out by someone else. They finally responded to my emails. Will update again (and perhaps change the rating) once the repair is complete.If I could give this company zero stars I would. They never return phone calls and frankly I am unsure as to how they ever conduct business. Two words - STAY AWAY! Go to a reputable company because this one certainly is not!

Noone has even returned our calls.Original message: We placed our order in February 2019 and have been waiting for our windows since February of 2020, with endless promises that they will ready in 2 weeks... There is zero customer service. Doing business with them or with World Glass, is recommended only if you dont need your windows for at least 13 months. Lets see if we ever get them!

Its been 12 weeks since I placed an order for an impact door Im still waiting after I was told it was only going to take 6 weeks I still have no date or estimate of time on when will it arrive.Update: Im now at 14 weeks and still waiting

We had all the windows and doors of the house done with ECO windows last year. We went to to the showroom and Mike took the time to show us all that was available, we asked a lot of questions before placing our order including installation questions and what to expect. Our order included an array of different windows, some were arches, some of them frosted, we had sliders, etc..all of our windows were done correctly. The order arrived in the time frame that was promised and were installed perfectly. They are beautiful and great quality, its been a year since installation and no issues. We used the installers that ECO recommend and they were very professional, punctual and we had great communication. We had an issue with a door not closing properly and they came out quickly to fix it! Now we are doing an addition to the house and I used ECO again, same great service! the order took a little longer than expected due to COVID but we were informed of the delays and they even arrived one week before we were told. We are really happy with ECO and would recommend them to anyone.

Poor workmanship on french doors. Poor serviceWas a waste of our money door was never installed properly. I ended up Just getting a new one from a new contractor and a much better installation. The new company took out the old door and was shocked at how poorly it was installed

Wish there was a zero star option. This companys products are very low quality and their recommended installers ( Lookin Good windows and doors ) are absolutely the worst installers ever.

Terrible costumer service. Bi-folding door I purchased through my contractor was configured wrong. When they came to resolve the issue, took them 3 minutes, not a single repair, nor a comment / commitment. Now they are unresponsive.

Nightmare experience. 10 month asking to get a simple warranty repair.....just getting lies, not a single time returning phone calls and avoiding even talking to me, making excuses. AVOID that company and their products!!!

Purchased over $50,000 in windows from them. received FACTORY scratched windows have been calling ever since they were put in to replace.. .. we are ok with some of the other windows that have minor scratches.. just need to replace one.... THEY ARE REFUSING TO REPLACE.. after pestering them for 9 months they now tell us its been too long! this is rediculous. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR WINDOWS.

My experience with ECO Windows and Doors has been excellent!!I have had my windows and doors for 1 1/2 years now and last year with hurricane Irma it was definitely an experience to see the storm from the inside out.The noise reduction is incredible and very much appreciated considering that we have party animal neighbors.The house looks amazing and we feel much more secure as well. We recently needed to have a door serviced and they were on it right away. I cant say anything negative about this company.Thank you ECO!

My experience with Eco Window Systems product has been excellent. When deciding what fabricator to go with, we visited all the facilities to see the product in person. The authorized Eco Window dealer we worked with scheduled a meeting in the facility to see the products in person and they took the time to explain/clarify all the questions we had. We opted to order the Horizontal Sliders and French Doors for our residence and were extremely content with the product quality. I would definitely recommend this manufacturer for your Window & Door Impact Resistant Material needs.

This companys installer takes forever to make repairs.1 One of my windows did not close.It took over 2 weeks for the installer to come look at the problem. Took another month to fix the window.2. I recieved a clear window for my bathroom. This took over 8 months for it to be replaced with a frosted window.3. Received 2 damaged screens. It has been over one year as of July 2019 and I still do not have the screens.

Seems people are confused with ECO Windows as a manufacturer vs who is the dealer who sells and installs them. Eco, the manufacturer made me outstanding windows. My installer AA Glass & Window in Miami did a superior install. I had 2 minor issues which needed a manufacturers tech from Eco. They arrived at my door on the 2nd business day and did not stop working until everything was perfect. Thank you Victor and Jose for providing outstanding service.The blue color (Azuria) is prettier than any other windows I have seen driving around Miami. I upgraded to all brass wheels and metal parts. Also went with the thickest glass no LOW E. They provide a triple locking systems and matching keys on 6 doors. I love these windows they are extremely well made and I recommend them 100% for a $10,000 or $150,000 job. Just get the right installer/dealer.

I bought a hurricane proof door. It was leaking. Eco window were suppose to come out and fix it. They came out 4 times didnt solve the problem. Finally came out again to replace the door ended up breaking the glass of the door. They Promise to come within a week and half it took 3 weeks to call. and then cancels again on the day of the installation cause they have the glass and not the frame. This company takes forever to make repairs with their own mistakes. We are in February and this started october 10th. This took over 4 months and Im still with my leaking door and shattered glass door. Do not trust this company.Im still waiting.

Find another company. Unfortunately for all its unsuspecting customers ECO Window Systems rarely answers their phone, almost never returns any phone calls and never returns emails sent directly to their representatives email addresses - especially when they make an error. You can see the poor quality control from our project. Despite multiple phone calls, messages and emails we received ZERO response as to why they sent two patio doors that do not match (one has an 8 kick plate and the other a 4 kick plate). They do not make screw covers for large sliders and they look unsightly. They also sent the incorrect handles and refused to replace them with the correct ones until we drove out to them and returned them - not even the slightest apology. Additionally ECO sent the incorrect size molding for our transom windows and, when our contractor brought it to their attention in the office, threatened to have him arrested for harassing them. Despicable.I would have really appreciated if a company representative had responded to my many calls and emails about these issues during the installation. The doors remain as pictured - completely mismatched - all these months later.

I would not recommend this Company to anyone. Their customer service is horrendous. When you call them you get transferred to voicemail each time. I have had a couple of issues with their product & when I finally reach a staff member, they either don’t show up to appointments and offer no phone calls apologizing for the inconvenience and no follow through from their staff. They gave me an appointment of 8am to 3pm today, it’s 330pm and they have not showed up. No one has called either. Wish I would’ve chosen another manufacturer that cares about their customers.

After paying a $3000 deposit for 7 windows, we have been waiting 6 weeks for them. Every week, they tell my contractor that they arent ready yet. Today, our contractor went to the office to get an ETA on the windows. They wouldnt give him a date. He asked for a refund and they told him they wouldnt issue a refund. They told him that because our order was so small, there was no rush for them. Do not waste your money at this place.

Run as far as possible. They don’t care about their customers. Installed damaged glass and never replaced it. I’m still waiting for someone to call me to follow up on my claim. It’s been 5 months since I had my windows Installed. The few times you actually get a rep they promise a billion things and nothing happens. I wish I had a zero star option.

These are builders grade window frames with decent glass. Use them for what they are intended and you will be fine.

They might have a great product with their windows and doors, but I would never know this to be true given we have been waiting for 4 months for ours to arrive. Called and left messages for status with no response. All we get from sales company is that Eco is behind and does not provide status. So frustrating!

Ive been selling and installing ECO Windows and doors for many years. Im extremely happy with the quality of their products and have had no issues. I could sell any of the many brands on the market today but choose to sell only ECO

Products are good, but customer service is terrible. Had our Eco Windows installed several months ago. Installer IWD said Eco forgot 4 window screens, but that they would follow up and get them. Multiple requests to IWD said they cant get the screens owed from ECO. I have now left four messages both by email and phone to ECO with no return call. Very frustrating. UPDATE I have now called in to ECO nine times and still I cannot get a person on the phone to address the problem.

I had bought my products from a young man named Christian, he was my installer . He’s a horrible installer he destroyed all my walls and flooring I just had done ! The product from here is also so cheap and doesn’t close right ! But what can I say you get what you pay for ! Just disgusting and the young man left the job, also disrespectful and loud ! Very unprofessional ! He also doesn’t answer my calls super unprofessional guy. Do not recommend this company at all and that installer even less

I spoke to a woman named Sara and she basically told me that because I wasnt the contractor, she couldnt give me any information about my order. Their excuse for the delay in services is because they are in the process of relocating. (Something they should have told us 8 weeks ago so that we could have gone to another company! Finally got the windows installed. It took 3 days to install 7 windows. The first day, the installers forgot a tool they needed to stick the windows to the cement. They were here about 6 hours and only installed two windows. Second day, same thing. And now we are still waiting for the screens! This place is a joke. The only person who seemed sympathetic was the front desk girl who apologized profusely for the inconvenience, its not her fault she works for a dump.

Worst company .. The windows that were just installed in my house are leaking not from the installer from the actual slider itself! We have contacted them numerous times and they still have not sent someone out to take a look and it has been over a month. They never return phone calls and when you do get them they do not call you back as promised. They blame the contractors who purchased the windows from them and they make the windows that are the problem. These are brand new windows I do not think they should leak water after installation and flood my house after the tracks fill with water when it rains. Please do not buy from this company and save you self the aggravation.

The worst customer service I have ever seen. I gave them the opening I have and they sent me the windows which dint fit my opening. They blamed me for it and made me pay for the new order, then it took 4 months to get it. I called when its arrived, and confirm that I come to pick them up, when I got there, they said they dont do pick ups after 3pm. There are a lot other things but I dont have the time to type it all here.

Terrible. Do not use them. Took 7 months to replace a window they cracked during installation. Removed crown molding for doors and never replaced so I am left with holes in the ground and walls. Dirty hand prints all over the walls. Used my restroom without permission.

The doors and windows have some scratches, installation horrible, they had to re-install one of the doors, and the contractor was recommended by one of Eco employees. It is taking literaly two months to finish the job! I recommend go a little bit more expensive with Prestige company, but it will be stress-free! I will post some photos later.

Horrible company!!!! they installed damaged windows and sent someone to inspect them afterwards. They took pictures and videos of the faulty windows and assured us they would take care of it immediately. We waited for a replacement and now they won’t return our calls. This company has no respect for consumers and their timeline, they have embark into manufacturing there own impact glass without knowing how and has put customers to the bottom of the barrel. The company said 8 weeks but its been more like 10 weeks and they told my contractor nothing because they are not the company who put the order in for the window. Next time try PGT or other brand. this company is runned like a third world organization.

We have been trying to get Eco to replace delaminated glass and they have not stepped up to take care of their role in this process. My client is going to go to the news stations next. I would not deal with this company ever again.

They have lousy customer service, they have to come to repair the door because they did it wrong, different from what was in the order.I spent all last week waiting for you to call me to schedule the appointment and they never did, today they will contact me again and they tell me that my case is not a priority for them to communicate when they have technicians available because they have many repairs to do.If they have so many repairs to do it is because they are pretty BAD in what they do.
