Didn’t like this place. They didn’t really want to help me. They cared most about them trying to upsell to me. Tried pressuring me to buy a pair of contact lens to sleep in to better my vision. Never tried to help me get a pair of glasses or regular contact lens.(The literal reason for my visit in the first place)
I highly recommend this place. When you walk in you feel a welcoming atmosphere. The doctor was amazing very knowledgeable and patient with my children. If you are looking for an optometrist for your kids this is the place to go!
Extra star is for the very welcoming, professional and kind assistants and technician at the place. Besides their excellent customer service, do yourself a favor, find another doctor and drive a little further instead of coming to this place.
I called this office to attempt to make an appointment for my daughter. The receptionist who answered was unable to answer questions and when I asked if they accepted my daughters insurance she got flustered and hung up on me. I attempted to call back several times and did not get an answer until about my 4th try. Extremely rude and unprofessional.
The service of the store was amazing. It exceed my expectations. When I got to the front desk a young girl named Arian I believe was super helpful and comprehensive. She gave me the best customer service that I have received from vision unlimited. Overall the care that I received from the Dr. Torres, the manager and the sell person was fantastic. I completely recommend this vision unlimited store. Wonderful experience.

They told me to come before 6 pm and I did a 5:30 and it was already closed which was confusing. This was the first time I see this. When I called someone pick up first told them if they were open and said open to 6 pm. First I was what the fxxx. Open till 6 pm. I told them if it open till 6pm then why I’m outside it the door closed. She told me that a women had to do something but did not say manger. Lastly she started to argue with me. I was in shock when they hang up angrily. For sure they need to know how to run a business properly.

My family & I just left this office and I am mortified. This is our first time going and it will be our absolute VERY LAST!!! I should have known this was going to be a negative experience from the start. First I was called & told that one of my son was not covered. I was told to call the insurance. I called them & they advised me that my son was fully covered. I called the office back again, was again told the same thing by another in the office. This went on & on with the office telling me to call the insurance over & over until finally a customer service supervisor in the office came to the phone & took my sons info. Then 2 seconds later she said SHE DOES SEE that my son was fine and that he is covered in their system. Why couldn’t the other 2 reps in her office see this from the beginning as opposed to wasting my time & telling me to call the insurance OVER & OVER?! Unreal. But I remained calm & patient. Then today, the day of my appt. I was told we needed to cancel or transfer our appt bc of a/c issues. Fine, we went to their other office in KendallWood off of 120th. That was strike 3. We waited forever. My sons (4 & 5 years old) were getting restless & there were patients who came in STATING that they did not have an appt but were seen before us. When we finally got seen the Dr. was unbelievable. And not in a good way. I guess in HIS WORLD he is ONLY accustomed to individuals who ONLY “look” Hispanic! My sons are Panamanian Chinese Jamaican. They have tan skin & Asian eyes. This man, this Dr, was terribly inappropriate & horribly racist. He would not stop calling my sons “Oriental”. Repeatedly! He kept pulling his own eye & speaking on how “oriental” their eyes were. They are close in age & asked if they were twins. I said no, that they are 11 mos. apart & he says, very inappropriately, “wow, you guys were busy”. Then he proceeded to ask about their father & asking where their father was & if he was coming back to the US & that when he comes back are we going to be making more babies?! I just could not believe what I was hearing. Even the girl sitting in the room with us on the computer taking the Drs notes looked extremely uncomfortable. It was difficult to schedule their appt in the first place. And if my sons did not NEED this appointment today we would have walked out. However I’m forced to return to retrieve my sons glasses & at that point they need to be educated a bit. This is Miami Florida! Miami is a VERY diverse city with individuals of ALLLL nationalities, backgrounds & FEATURES. And calling my sons “oriental” is just as offensive & derogatory as if I were to call someone a Spick. Unacceptable!!!
