We have been in Miami since Monday. Every night for five nights before heading back to our hotel we would stop to get a mocha Frappuccino and black ice tea. They made the mocha different every time. Several nights they did a grande when we order a venti. Tonight a family of five was in there and they were taking other peoples drinks. After two of them touch my ice water which was suppose to be just ice. I told them they could have it. It had my husband name on it. The lady making the drinks wouldn’t call the names out and it was a disaster. I finally left and my husband waited for his venti drink. This place needs training and leadership. I’m hoping when we return to visit the manager helps his staff. Every night it was like this. Tonight was the worst with the family.

Cashier was great, however between the line to order and the wait to get the order I spent about 35 minutes in the location.. The staff making the drinks gave my drink to someone else, then when I finally got my coffee,she gave it to me with out cream, sugar or cinnamon. I did not notice and left the location, so to make the longer short, I came back and asked her to fix it. Instead of getting it ready for me, she put some sugars on the counter, a cup with milk, and another cup with cinnamon on the side. Total waste of cups, and inconvenience for me to have to do all that with so many people waiting on the side. Disappointed in the service.

Baristas in this Starbucks are clueless as to how to make drinks. Ordered two Flat Whites and was asked if that was a hot or cold drink. We told the barista at the register that Flat Whites are hot and when we were paying we were asked for a tip. I don’t recall Starbucks employees ever asking for a tip. When the drinks were ready, one was cold and asked for them to remake it. Taste was okay but not the normal Flat Whites that we normally always order.***In response to the owners comment - It’s fine for the credit card terminal to ask for the tip but the barista asked me herself for one which is why I found that request odd***

The two ladies that run the place are a pleasure … always nice and the staff here is great ..they never skip the steps .. very thorough with my coffee order and I love it .. The worst coffee experience ever! I will never go to Starbucks again! Disgusting! Order Americana and latte. Was given Americana within minute and then had to wait over 20 minutes for latte while Americana got completely cold! Lack of any common sense. Couldn’t even get my croissant order right. Great location and friendly staff. I’m not sure if there is not enough staff in the morning rush or what, but I have been here about a dozen times in the morning normally utilizing order ahead. It doesn’t seem to help as the order is never ready in the time window of usually 6-10 mins. I am ordering a black coffee or iced tea and it takes normally 20-35 mins for the one drink to come out.I realize things in Miami can be slow but today I waited 35 mins for an ice tea, which I think is absurdly long. Please consider adding an additional staff member in the morning to speed things up. Thanks.

The are friendly enough. The entire layout is confusing. People who ordered via mobile order are mixed in with patrons waiting to order as well as others waiting to receive their orders. Granted the layout is open, and the doors remain open, its over crowded and looks dirty. Very difficult to practice social distancing. Also large dogs are allowed inside, and honestly the thought of the shaken fur that flies then settles (wherever that may be) are startling thoughts.All of these things may not bother most, as for me I shall not frequent again

Run by the most incompetent set of people. Orders are always wrong, they run out of items regularly even after you order and pay for them. Typically will wait 3x as long as you normally would at any other Starbucks. Not worth it.

This is a smaller starbucks. My 2017 ipad pro didnt like the wifi. It wasnt google either. Aside from that, it was mostly the same as other starbucks. Public parking is next to the starbucks.

If you place an order add about 35 minutes to the estimated time pick up will be ready. Extremely slow service at this location. I’ve given it several chances and 4 times I placed an order for pick up and I always had to wait almost 35 minutes on top of the estimated time pick up should’ve been ready. (Example app says order will be ready at 10:05 am didn’t leave the store until 10:40am). Never again.

This is a franchise so your rewards won’t be accepted here,they hired Haitian cashier who cannt understand English, speaks with an accent you cannot understand,like just came to USA yesterday,when taking order, how greedy you have to be as a owner to do that ? They dont space people far enough from each other in the store. I got in argument with a guy in line because he was 3 feet too close to me. We bickered, but he made a valid point that he was standing where the marker is on the ground.Hence, they need to fix that.Additionally, I do not like the service given by the elderly woman at the cashier position. Both times I went there, I had experiences that are inadequate in service. Meaning, she gives bad service.She rushes you, make you have to repeat yourself, she is not friendly in my estimate, and there is definitely room for her to improve and grow as one who caters to the public.The only reason that this review is three stars and not two is the young ladies who make the coffee are understanding, friendly, and warm.

This is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Time after time Ive gone here, and never once have I received the correct order. Today I received an order that was supposed to be a white chocolate mocha, with Almond milk. I received hot almond milk in a cup. They didnt even complete the drink. Not sure who is managing this place if anyone at all. Additionally, its more expensive than any other Starbucks. There is a Starbucks one block away and its worth the walk.

Cashier was incredibly rude. I walked a mile to get there after taking my dog to the vet, and realized I forgot my mask. I was standing maybe 20 feet from her, a good 5 feet outside of the store, and she refused to let me order from outside. She even refused me if I covered my face with my shirt, which is probably equivalent to the bandanas that are allowed.I’m in healthcare and understand the need to comply with public health policy, but not letting me order while standing 20 feet away, outside of the store, is a little excessive. There are Starbucks drive-throughs you can order at/pick your order up with much smaller interpersonal distance.In the few times I’ve been to this Starbucks this cashier has always been rude. Will not be coming back.

I used to like working here. Thats it until the new manager and supervisor came and changed everything. They steal hours from the employees. Like another review mentioned the tip is only for them and not the employees actually earning it. Always short staffed and overworked. The new manager does not know what she is doing at all and loses her temper quite quickly. Quitting was the best decision I made.

I just drove over here through 35 minutes of traffic trying to get through there is absolutely no parking, I couldn’t even order through the app because they do not show up at all I asked through the phone why they don’t show up they said because they’re not part of the Starbucks corporation?? The staff and location are really nice, but the store could use a redesign despite being brand-new. There isnt much seating and what they do have feels cluttered. If youre lucky enough to get one of the sidewalk tables, youll have a nice visit but the indoor seating will give you claustrophobia.Also this is a franchise store, not a corporate store so you cannot use rewards and I dont think you gain them either from purchases here.I still prefer the main Starbucks in Mary Brickell Village 2 blocks away, but this one is a good option if you want to grab & go or if you get a table on the sidewalk.

Staff looks like chickens without head. The manager shouts commands like she is running a prison. Place has changed so much maybe new owners? doubt old owners would steal the employees tip like this new manager is doing. Not returning, think its best to go to the Starbucks right across the street. Honestly I miss Keith, Peyton, even Ginger. Old crew at least knew a thing or two about customer service (well they were getting to keep the tips?). Would like to see this place go back in time to were it was a more respectful establishment.

My office staff and I were so elated when we heard that this Starbucks was opening just feet away from our office. However, every time any of us buys from them, it is always an unsatisfactory experience. I hear my coworkers constantly saying how bad the experience is, how the staff is constantly changing, and how unsatisfactory the food is prepared. Today, I stopped by after nearly 9 months of boycotting them and I had to repeat my order 4 times before paying. The gentleman behind the counter kept nodding his head as though he understood and my order was complete. Still, my coffee was not even close to what I ordered. I noticed I was being served regular black coffee when I ordered a caramel macchiato. I do not know how regular black coffee and caramel macchiato sound alike to be confused. And let’s not talk about the fact that I spelled out my name to him and he still wrote it wrong. At this point we all know the whole wrong name or spelling of your name wrong is a Starbucks gimmick.

I used to love coming to this location. As a matter of fact, I would study and everything. Great place. This is until one morning. Let me explain. I was a customer there for over 1 year. I would come before and after school. Great vibe. Great conversations. Then the store hired a junior assistant clerk named MIGUEL HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience should be fired. One morning after doing my normal and daily routine of studying for exams, he had approached me and threatened me and police came. I was in complete shock. So much so that I left. Well, I was forced out. Is this the type of treatment that a loyal starbucks customer should receive? I decided to take my story public. I contacted corporate who decided they were not going to do anything. No big deal. I contact all government agencies including law enforcement. Im sure there will be some sort of justice. I genuinely hope that the staff go through direct changes. Buyer beware! I have reported them to every government agency!

In Chicago, indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, Florida and other Starbucks in miami. At this location they told me they can’t do refill. That’s disappointing!

This Starbucks is painfully slow. I know the morning rush can be tough but other shops staff up this time in advance and can then deal with the crush just fine. But at any time of the day this place seems to take 15min+ to make anything more than just a black coffee. Skip unless you have plenty of time to wait.

It sadness me to write a negative review about this place, but the experience I recently had is just horrible. I have been going to this same Starbucks for almost a year, always leaving tip for the wonderful staff. Recently a staff member asked me not to tip and when I asked why he mentioned that Xinia (the new manager) keeps all the tip to pay a debt the old manager left. I had trouble believing this so I did ask another staff member and he confirmed that they get no tips that the costumers leave. The next day I did return and another employee did acknowledge the tipping issue but said that they are planning to take legal action. I spoke to Xinia in person that same day, she didnt even try to deny that she has been stealing 100% of the employee tips. Her excuse was that she was asked by her boss to take all the tips of her employees until the $500 debt the old manager left is gone. I find this wrong and highly illegal. I cannot return to this Starbucks or Dolores knowing in my heart the illegal ways they treat their employees and instead of supporting honest workers they support thieves. I will be Filing a Complaint With the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Nice looking place, its kept clean and the staff are friendly. My main issue is, I ordered two drinks and I had to tell the two Batistas at the reg and the drink maker how and what I wanted even though I explained what it was and it was right behind them. I ordered an egg sandwich and watched the barista text on her phone while cooking multiple sandwiches at once. All while she was hiding behind the oven, thinking that nobody could see her. Absolutely the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The employees move at snail pace and if there is something wrong with your order (they forgot my bagel) they stare at you and question you. Then they told me it was coming out and they forgot again. A woman asked for napkins because they were all out and another employee just stared at her and asked “are ... there... none... over... there.......” if you have somewhere to be go else where, it took me 30 minutes to get a bagel and coffee.

Miguel was extremely rude. After ordering a coffee, I paid with my debit card but then I asked him to break a $20 bill I had. Ive previously done this in the past with other managers on duty but with Miguel it was an issue. It was very upsetting, to the point where Miguels attitude made me loose interest in buying anything from there. I canceled my order politely and walked out. I dont even want to go back anymore. There are a few employees here who are sincerely nice, but unfortunately that is overshadowed by the norm of terrible service. I always come to this location instead of the next closest one, because the coffee is consistently better. The struggle I usually have to go through to get my daily coffee though is absurd. Most of the staff have no sense of urgency and can’t figure out how to get things done in a reasonable time, they never make customers a priority (standing there forever trying to order while they refill supplies and whatnot), half of them overcharge you for syrups and other stuff that’s supposed to be included, then they try to get stingy with the rewards program (this location uses a punchcard for rewards rather than the rewards earned on the app). I really wish they would get it together so that my daily coffee run doesn’t take a whole 20 minutes (I only order iced coffee, so it’s just a matter of pouring. So frustrating when I have to wait for the barista to make 27484 lattes and 37383959 frappuccinos before they even acknowledge my cup). I literally am tempted to jump behind the counter and train them on customer service, because I could never get away with this nonsense with my clients. Someone please build another starbucks in Brickell.

I have been frequenting this Starbucks location for the last several weeks, and I appreciate the Starbucks service that used to be common in many locations but is now hard to find. Its nice that the baristas try to learn your name, etc.They move pretty quickly during busy times, and they keep things in stock pretty well for a smaller Starbucks, including food/bakery items, as well as the many Starbucks tumblers, coffee, etc that youd find in a Sbux store.My drinks have been consistently delish, and theres not much more that I can ask for on my way into work!**its good to know before visiting here that the rewards program works a little differently at this location. You can use the app to pay and earn stars, but you cannot redeem your free reward drinks earned through the app. Ask for a punch card instead, and you earn a free drink after 12 visits. Just a couple blocks away is the Mary Brickell Village location, so I recommend going there when youve earned a reward on the app that you want to use.
