Got some ceviche and tostones. Both were good. Beware they do add 18% tip automatically to your bill. Not a big deal but just a heads up. Nice view of the river and good people watching but that garners a bit higher price tag for same dish elsewhere in town. Still reasonably priced though.

The Cuban sandwich seems simple. Maybe thats why so many restaurants add it to their menu. Fast service, ok Cuban food, nice servers, and 18% tip is included in your bill. Lots of tourists flow through here, so its the best you can get, considering the location. Ask for mustard for your Cuban sandwiches, and the nice server ladies will be more than glad to help.

Horrible service. Online reads 7 am, come to restaurant and rudely told opens at 8:30. Return at 8:30 and ignored for half hour. No one understands English. You order and they yes you to death and the order comes out wrong 2 and maybe 3 times. Finally ended up cancelling the runny egg breakfast that I advised 2 times were over hard/well. The service is horrible. Much better places to go to in the area where you are treated as with respect and not scorned for asking them to take the food back and cook as ordered twice. Owner is Raul in case you have the same bad experience.

Food was on point traditional Cuban food! Not very expensive, quick service, and delicious. Random to be located in an outdoor mall/harbor visitor area, however didnt matter food was worth it and the environment added to it.

I had a pretty good experience here. The food was delicious, but took over 45 minutes to come out. We had to flag down the waiter several times to get his attention because he hadnt brought us the water we had asked for in the beginning. He also took forever to return to the table to bring the check. We went to the restaurant around 5pm on a Wednesday afternoon so it was not too busy to say that it was peak restaurant time. I give the restaurant 4 stars because of the food. The service could have definitely been better though!

This is a chain of restaurants. The food is decent for the price but the lack hygiene during this time. The staff is friendly.

Bait and switch with a smile. We were greeted with a warm smile which quickly disappeared once we were seated. We were then given lackluster service. More importantly the food was simply not good. The price is far too high for such poor service and low quality food. I even ordered the special. One would assume that something they specialize in would be at least somewhat decent... One would be mistaken. I added the second star to be generous because my Long Island Iced Tea wasnt terrible.

I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a pleasant evening and the venue was absolutely one of the reasons for the successful evening. The crew cooperated in a splendid way, the cooking was extremely good and my friends were extremely pleased. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

I admire this place! They give high quality food, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that place is well trained, I love very much eating all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the customers is agreeable. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is located at Bayside Marketplace. I stopped by for lunch with my brother. I was a little upset that the menu did not offer more vegetarian options. I did however try out the tuna sandwich which was pretty good. The customer service was also great.

Located inside the Bayside Shopping Mall, the restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Service was prompt and our server was helpful in deciding on sides, but there were enough employees to have had better attention. Nice views from the outside seats, but one is exposed to the passing crowd if on the inside of the walkway. Very pleased with the food which was well prepared, well presented, and arrived within an acceptable time period. A service charge of ~ 15% was added to the bill although only 2 in the party - check your final tab carefully. 2 people w/o alcohol = $38.

This was a perfect place right after our cruise,it was about 10a.m. and everywhere else was closed and was in the mood for a Cuban sandwich and it hit the spot.. the freshly squeezed orange juice was also great.. definitely gonna come back here...

The chicken sandwich I ordered was tasteless and undercooked. They also charge 18% service fee automatically, probably because of the nice view, but that’s more than what I would have given for the service and the quality of the food here.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. The bill was not excellent.. between 10% tip, taxes, and our 18% service charge for a group of 2, our bill was doubled!

Absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever been to. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We ordered Mariquitas (fried plantain) and Calamari. Both came cold and looked like it was microwaved. We had to give the calamari back because they were super dry and the mariquitas had a brown lining on it (which I’ve never seen in my life). The calamari came with old lettuce and the sauce they gave us (which was in a packet) was expired. We also ordered black bean soup and chicken soup but I couldn’t finish because I was so grossed out. The staff in the kitchen seemed like they were goofing off and eating at the same time every time someone opened the door. The hygiene was terrible and the food even worse. I will never be coming back to the Latin America Restaurant at Bayside in Miami, FL.

This place is the perfect blend of affordable and tasty as hell. Waitress was a sweetheart who battled through our broken Spanish to get us what we wanted. Super strong drinks. A great choice and superior to the Havana chains dotting Miami.

The food was great, but the service was not as amazing. Our waiter kept forgetting things we ordered. When I ordered my meal, there was some confusion, and I tried to make my self clear; He seemed pretty satisfied after I explained again. When everyone got their food and my meal was missing, he came back to retake my order and I waited for the kitchen to make it. Instead of asking for clarification, he must have ignored it.That being said, my goal isnt to rip into the staff of this restaurant. There was somewhat of a language barrier, and I would have been happy to clarify any questions the waiter would have. I dont speak Spanish but I am half Hispanic, so I understand the waiters difficulty 100%. I had my leftovers for lunch the next day, and I craved them all that morning.long story short: food was amazing, and youll want leftovers, just clarify your order with the waiters before they head to the kitchen.

I took my whole family of 6 to that Latin American yesterday Jan/02/2020, and we could not use the restroom, they had 2 chair at the door like it was out of service, they told us to go upstairs, even after I told the lady that I was a customer. ( the restroom was working) the service was not that excellent, why you may ask. well once the tip is included in the bill people dont get good service.

The lunch we ordered was house specialty but very roughly cooked! Everthing was black! Black rice, black bean, black banana and black pork meat! Taste so so.

It is located inside the Bayside market place. It is a good place to visit if you want to taste some Latin American cuisines. We tried the Cuban platter and it was really good and also the place is not very expensive. Add to that the general hustle bustle of the market and the live latin music and it makes for a very nice evening.

Went today and the food was not the best. My husband and I would have left it at but they put their own tip on the bill as a serving fee. Ok, we were willing to overlook that too if it wasnt for the fact that THEY SERVED OUR CHILDREN RAW CHICKEN. I really hope this place gets shut down.

We had the Cuban Special sandwich which was so good. The plantain chips accompanying it was the perfect accompaniment. I had the delicious pina colada to drink. My wife had the mojito which was strong. We enjoyed watching the boys come and go in the marina as we ate.

I waa skeptical because it was in the Bayside Market area but the food waa authentic and amazing. The mojitos were excellent as well.

The service was very good and the the food tasty. The waitress made good recommendations and even suggested to ordering a separate salad as all the meals came with two sides. To drink we took a pitcher of juice which was very refreshing. At the same time very reasonably priced considering its on the bayside.

Before I had went to Latin American Bayside Cafe, I had never eaten Cuban food. It was really good and the service was just as well. The view on the outside seating was great looking onto the Miami Bay.

Great atmosphere to eat with family! We payed $45 for 3 adult meals. Had the best cafe con Leche I have ever tasted... The Cuban sandwich was very tasty and the flavors are excellent... First time here and would recommend this place to everyone!

Short stop before our flight back to Atlanta, probably the best Cuban food Ive ever had. Just tried the Cuban platter which was Pork Tips with Rice and beans, Plantains and Yuca. Pork was phenomenal, plantains were exceptional. Service couldve been a little faster but other than that, with a view of the bay it was an excellent dining experience.

Two stars as they didnt give us food poisoning but the food wasnt great. Server decided to take it join herself to change my order when they didnt have what I had selected. My companions food was what he ordered but not very good. Service was pretty good, all the servers seemed very attentive but we came to eat and left still hungry as half our food was overcooked and inedible. Dont really recommend. The daquri shop next door was amazing though.

Fill maybe.....it seems that the only things she did not do to make us finish and leave is fart or vomit next to the table...there are plenty of restaurants in the Bayside, choose another! You,and your family, have been warned! Expect and demand better, even though the prices are reasonable for the Bayside.

Loved loved loved the authentic taste of the food. Freahyl preoared with presentation being EVERYTHING. They have a great staff here and the management team walks the floor to make sure all are satisfied.
