What is the point of ordering ahead? I arrived to the store after they told me “you can come”. I arrived and they began to work on my order. To top it off, they missed one item. Giving a 2 star because the coffee was good.

I work a block away from this bakery and go there in the mornings at least twice a week. Pastries are ALWAYS fresh, it’s the first time I ever go to a bakery who always serve everything baked the same day. The staff is awesome, all of them friendly!

I’m a newbie and my first visit was brief. The service was prompt, very cordial and friendly. I’ll come back for mote!

I have ordered online and on phone twice at this location. Each time i have had to wait an unreasonable amount of time, defeating the purpose of ordering ahead of time. There is never enough personnel and the employees always seem stressed because they are short handed.

Went to pick up two pies for a thanksgiving potluck at my work. I get to work and I took off the thanksgiving decoration to find mold all over the pie I purchased here. It was truly embarrassing/disgusting and we didn’t get to enjoy dessert.

When there at 9:20 pm two people in bakery knocked on glass was waived off said they were closed and ignored me after waving me away like was some sort of insect bothering them . Wow i guess they didnt need customers. 24 hrs what a joke they dont even keep the hours they post.

Great food and service however NO social distancing. The employees really dont care and they allow more people into the store than has to be. I wont go back until they do a better job dealing with covid.

I’ve ordered from this place for two days in a row through DoorDash and the service is terrible. I ordered yesterday a pan con lechón which was very disappointing. Full of chunks of fat and meat was very hard. I didn’t complain. Today I ordered a breakfast croissant. What I received was scrambled eggs and French fries in a container. Thats it. I called to complain and ask if they can fix the issue. They rudely told me that if I wanted I can go pick it up. If not there was nothing they could do for me even after it being THEIR mistake. If I could go pick it up I wouldn’t bother ordering through DoorDash. I hate to complain and understand we all have our weak moments but these kind of instances need to be shared.

Well theres never a second chance for a first good impression. For me was a really nice visit, nice food, prices affordable and very tasty. Staff really educated and nice.

That place I dont know whats going on, the employee is like they dont like to work there, always you feel the negative energy inside, to make a cool sandwich ( Italian ) you will need to wait 30 to 40 minutes, the last time I wen around 2:30 pm and They were cleaning the floor of the bakerys salon like they are in Cuba sweeping full of water with soap on customers waiting for it to be served, it seems they do not know that so OSHA appears and sees that business opened to the public in those conditions they close at the moment, incredible but true.To the owners or supervisors of this company please give technical minimum to the employees of the work rules and how to clean and maintain the premises clean without the occurrence of a fatal incident.

VERY DISAPPOINTING! I AM A POSITIVE REVIEWER MOSTLY!!!On 9 February, while traveling in the Miami area, my wife and I chose to visit your location at 6655 Dixie Highway. The time of our visit was 6:04Pm to 6:32pm. We ordered items to eat in the store as well as a BLT Turkey Sandwich to take back to our hotel to eat later in the evening. What I discovered was your employees chose to make my sandwich with RAW BACON. I ate two bites before I realized that my sandwich had RAW UNCOOKED BACON on it. I was not in the position at the moment to return to the location and address this obvious dereliction of proper food handling. Now I have returned from my travels I have decided to reach out to the leadership of your organization. I do not reside in Florida, but I am sure that this is not the impression you would want to make with any customer. NOT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD>

Service was slower than molasses; tables were dirty and not wiped clean by staff, much less sanitized; garbage cans were overflowing. Not going back.

This place use to be much better! I have 1 star because I couldnt give less. Use to come here everyday and a girl with blue hair use to take care of me, very professional and with good attitude. After covid the place had gone downhill, Roberto had messed up my order a lot of times and when I tell them thats its wrong, they attack me for complaining about the wrong order and files and dust in the milk, the orange juice etc, Leyla the manager is another person that instead of helping the clients attack the clients for not drinking their orange juice with files and all kinds of dust inside of it.I FOUND A HAIR ALSO INSIDE THE ORANGE JUICE, BE PREPARED NOT TO COMPLAINT OR LEYLANI (MANAGER) WILL ATTACK FOR SPEAKING UP.I USED TO SEE THE MANAGER ALWAYS FIGHTING W ALL CUSTOMERS BUT NEVER THOUGH THAT IT WAS HER ATTITUDE!! Friendly staff and neat atmosphere, but thats as far as I go with my positive review. I ordered this Italian sandwich that came with 3 lunch meats, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pesto. When I got the sandwich it only had two lunch meats and no onions and pesto. I ask for the rest of the ingredients and the cook only put some red sauce on the sandwich. It wasnt even pesto!I maybe shouldnt ask for an Italian sandwich at a Cuban bakery, but is it really that hard to get my food with all the ingredients I payed for? If know one in the kitchen knows what pesto is then dont sell anything with it! After all, Im paying for this product.Such little attention to detail!

Very nice service. Best espresso in town! The spinach empanadas and guava pastelitos are some of my favorite snacks.

Once again I and others in line walked out without placing an order. While 3 ladies were in back yapping loudly only one was making coffee. Why Pinecrest Bakery feels that they have to reinvent the wheel is beyond me. If you want to see how to properly take and fill orders in a timely manner you can go to any Starbucks, Don Pan, McDonalds. In fact, theres a Starbucks in the same plaza. Sit there a while and see how its done. They seem to be successful and Ive never seen anyone walk out the way they do at every Pinecrest Bakery Ive been to.

This location makes all other Pinecrest bakeries look terrible. The food selection is limited in comparison to the others and the quality is not up to par with the other locations either. Food aside, the main issue this location has is their employees. You can tell they do not want to work and they are always pushing you to give them a tip. They always have an attitude and scream at each other in front of the customers. They also charge you extra when using a credit card but this is not stated anywhere in the restaurant. Perfect example of how a chain can start falling through the cracks. Owners should honestly revisit because it’s a shame to see this happen to such a great bakery.

I stopped by for an afternoon coffee. The staff didnt know how to make a latte and asked me how to do it! Fearing that theyd mess it up, I asked just for American coffee, but even that was watered down, looked like light brown water. I just went with a cheese pastry, which was tasty.Ive heard and read amazing reviews about this place yet was really disappointed. Neither of the two ladies who were manning the station spoke English, which made it that much more difficult to communicate what I wanted.At least it wasnt dirty.

Staff not attentive to incoming customers. I was waiting for 20 minutes for the food I ordered on the phone(in the pick up area). I was not even acknowledged. The process is supposed to be a quick one, but it took extremely long.

Everything runs smooth whenever I go to Pinecrest Bakery. Even though all the workers do a great job I always like to point the Excellent job that Adys does for her customers. She is always very polite and knowledgeable. She pays attention to details and always make sure that we have the greatest experience. This place is super smelly. bad ventilation. you reek like a cook after 60 sec in there. the store is full of sugary cakes and fatty pastries. i am not sure why anyone would stuff himself with such low quality food. this place is by no means a bakery. its a fast food joint. calling it bakery is an abuse of that name.

Service is very slow and they tend to ignore customers. Pastries are hit and miss; coconut was good, guava tastes just like the ones at Publix, and the nutella pastries could have been the best if there was any filling in them.

The pan con biste was dry and they charge extra if you use a credit card. The cashier wants to know if her tip will be cash or on the card otherwise the food was good not great and overpriced. I will stick with Marias on 27th Ave they have a way better sandwich for less and the cashiers are actually friendly

Terrible Service. I ordered a sandwich. There were 7, 8 staff working there and just 2 other customers and no one prepare my sandwich. The staff there were relaxed and talking with each other and they totally forgot my sandwich. After 15 minutes‘s waiting, I have to remind the staff to make my sandwich.

On Sunday June 16th, around noon, I went to this location to order Medias noches and pastries. While waiting, the lady that was making the sandwiches threw two serving tweezers (the same tweezers they use to serve the pastries) on the floor and slid them across the room, just because she didn’t want to walk 4 meters to give them to the other lady.At that point, I had in my hand my pastries and she was about to make my medias noches. I was so shocked I couldn’t believe it. One of the servers grabbed one of the tweezers and washed them just because she noticed I saw everything. I finally ask for a full refund of my money, telling them what they did was out of anything I’ve seen in any other place. I hope the owners read this review and take action on this.I won’t go to this place ever again and I’ll make sure every friend and family know about it.

Its pretty much the only bakery in the area. Its not nearly as good as the Pinecrest Bakery on Bird Road and 67th ave, also the servers are very slow. I waited 15 minutes to get served with three servers working and only one person in line in front of me.

Terrible service. I used to come all the time and the ladies were friendly. Now the staff rolls their eyes and behave as if they are doing you a favor. Sad, my friends and I will not be returning.

However, after the unpleasant experience I had on December 10th starting around 10:15 PM, made me change my mind completely.I ordered through a delivery app, and the restaurant cancelled the order immediately without notice. I placed another order, and asked to be reached over the phone if they were going to cancel and to let me know the reasons why. They ignored the message, and proceeded to rejected the order once again. I then called about 15 times, and call was ignored.This was very unprofessional, and totally unacceptable to customers. I am unsure who was supervising the place, but they there clearly not in control or against the occurred. I had a great opinion about this place, and visited then frequently, but I am totally dissatisfied for the not one, two, but 3 unacceptable and unprofessional incidents in less than one hour. Loved the variety and clean place.Had a problem with communication because I dont speak Spanish, but I was just calling out names of different types of cakes I was choosing. I was reading the names off of the label and the lady still couldnt understand. Thats the only part that made this and annoying experience. Cakes were tasty.

The pan de bono was horrendous! The Cuban coffee was good. Their pastries look so beautiful, but are way too sweet and have too much syrup probably because of the low quality of the ingredients. The cheese tequenos were very good, but microwaved warmed.

Best place to pick up pastelitos! All the bakery items are fantastic. Best part is that they are open when I need them...usually at 2 AM. Practice your spanish before ordering.

I can never seem to be able to get a sandwich every time I come here. Or the combo with fries. The sandwich medianoche the meat was cold. It was pre-made, she did NOT USE GLOVES TO HANDLE FOOD. It was just placed in the microwave straight on the glass, no paper plates, napkin nothing. Still decided to take the sandwich but remaining factor it was still cold. I went inside so she can nuke it some more and change out the bread since microwaving the bread would only make it harder. She gave me a really hard time about it to the point that just made me say forget it I rather just get refunded and go, she refused. We spent almost 15 minutes in a argument over my refund. And to top it all off since she didnt even give me back exactly what I paid for we still left her the money we tipped her. Never in my life have I nor the party I was with been treated so horribly in any establishment. And it was four of us two non-Spanish speaking people and two Latin American people so its not like they didnt know what we was saying. I live in the neighborhood and Ive heard many bad things never experienced it this bad before. It was the worst experience ever. I doubt I would be coming back here anytime soon. I really think the concept is cool if it was being runned better, a 24 hr bakery with sandwiches and fries and pastries. How eles better to satisfy youre late-night cravings? But being runned like this will ruin a business......After reading some of the reviews, yes its true if you are not a fluent Spanish speaking person they will not serve you as well. My friend was treated horribly and shes actually Cuban.🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

I am so upset with my order. Who has ever heard of a Cuban sandwich with a little piece of pork and six slides of ham? A Churrasco without chimichurri ((t was cold, hard and no lettuce), a Super Lechon without the potato sticks?

Three people working. They didnt acknowledge us when we stood there and stood there. We asked two of the workers for help. One refused to speak any english and walked into theback. The second worker dissappeared as well. The third we finally got her to talk to us. We asked if we could order she shook her head no. My daughter asked if anyone spoke english. She just stood and looked at us. So we left. Without ordering. It was ridiculos. We will not be back.
