Clive is wonderful. We needed our dinghy motor fixed in one day. As full time cruisers we had no other way to get to and from our boat at anchor. He got it done in just a few hours and then spent time explaining what had happened. It now runs like new.

I had Rolando and his crew replace a VST filter and timing belt on my Yamaha outboard. Their prices were reasonable and they did a great job. Rolando was very cordial to answer all my questions. I was very pleased with their service and I recommend them.

I took my boat and spook to Roland about the problems I was having and he said what I needed to hear, everything was very clear and professional, the man knows what he’s doing, I am a Deisel mechanic and have good knowledge but when it comes to boats I don’t have the knowledge or equipment to do this job I strongly recommend this shop for any repairs on your boat . I described the issue to Rolando and he knew exactly what the (non) problem was.As it turned out, there was no need for service. ONLY a person who had extensive knowledge of how the lower unit works could have known about this issue I described.Thank you again Rolando! Called em up late Tuesday. Bob said to bring the boat Thursday. Left my 78 Mako 17 w/ 1999 90hp Johnson with him for a full carb rebuild. Got a call around noon on Friday saying the boat was ready. Went and put 40 miles on it this Saturday and Sunday around Biscayne Bay in heavy chop after a cold front, problems fully resolved.

I had bob put in a new send down unit and install batteries. The work done was good but he will nail you on parts and labor, it came out to $1,063.27. Some items I got charged almost double the going rate (fuel filters and hoses) and others were marked up around 40-50% ($110 for each battery, when they go for $80. 50 amp marine breaker $60 when they go for $25. Racor Filter $32.00 when they go for $20). It felt as if they were just trying to skim money from every corner. First and last time.

I bought a used 25 outboard yamaha. I could not get it to run well at idle or slow speed even after I took apart the carbs 3 x. The honest mechanic noted I had a broken off needle and the other needle was missing. I bought the parts from him and fixed it myself. They won a loyal customer but did not make much $. Highly recommend this small company.
