Great Jet Ski experience! The pros there take excellent care of you, whether you are new to the sport or a seasoned rider and take you for a fantastic ride which you will never forget.

I’ve used this marina only for renting boats.The people who work here are awesome.The parking can be busy at times, and make sure you get a pass.Other than that the marina is really close to downtown Miami. The docks are well kept. There’s water hoses close to most boats.I’m sure it’s expensive for a slip, but it’s a slip on Key Biscayne.

Worst service and the docks are terrible.

Great experience. I was very hesitant and skeptical about keeping my boat in rack storage due to the horror stories you read about with other local marinas. Rickenbacker has more docks than almost any other rack facility for late arrivals, and the crew is extremely hard working pulling boats well past 8:00 p.m. on some nights. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Scam artist read reviews from the past and from now and you will see why. They hide under a third party with no customer service to do all their scams. Do not bring your business here go anywhere else.

Rude staff, unprofessional, horrible customer service and always giving you weird looks/attitude. You have to ask multiple times to get your boat move up/down even though you call in advanced. There have been multiple times that I come back from the water and there isn’t one person checking on docking the boats or helping out. They literally don’t want to help you out. There is no orientation on how the marina works or what you need to do/know. You have to call multiple times in advanced to get your boat down because they don’t pick up the phone and never check their voicemail. A few random lift employees have very unnecessary comments. Not the Cuban lift guy, he is awesome. Only guy that does an amazing job. They have a Boatsetter ad in the gas area incentivizing it but they don’t want you to do Boatsetter. Half of the people rent boats there anyway! See them all weekend! That’s how I found out about the marina. Anyway, Parking is crazy over the weekend. Limit your guests because the manager doesn’t like it! Even though you pay premium docking compare to other places and most boats are own by multiple people. All and all, expensive, unfriendly, not professional, rude employees, but good location, kinda of uncomfortable place, hard parking but hey there isn’t much in Miami so they can get away with it

Paid too much money for nothing

My friend came to the marina to drop off something for me and after 15 minutes, he had a boot on the car and a fine! Disgrace that my family pays so much for this marina and they go to such extremes for parking. He tried and call and nobody was helpful to discuss the ticket. Disgrace that they use our money to scam others.

Funky little marina I discovered when I found the waiting list for a berth in the Coconut Grove marina was a year long. Glad of it, too. The approach to Coconut Grove is mostly hazardous shoals with very narrow channels in and out, but at Rickenbacker youre about 12 minutes from open ocean in deep water.Pros: Much less expensive, friendly, laid-back staff, nice mix of sailors & fishermen neighbors, unlike the snooty snowbird yachtsmen found in many South Florida marinas.Cons: Unless you live on Key Biscayne, getting to and from on the Rickenbacker Causeway can be tiresome because of traffic. Also, be prepared to hose down the deck pretty frequently, because cormorants love to roost in the rigging and leave messy gifts on the deck.

Exceptional service by great people!

By the far the cleanest & best managed marina in South Florida. Their equipment is top notch & their ability to manuever that amount of boats in such a busy area is astonishing. They stock you boat with suppplies or gas you up with just a phone call. Manatees come up to your boat for belly rubs & fresh water!!!

INITIAL REVIEW: We walked out of Whiskey Joes restaurant to find our car wheels locked. It was $89 to get our car released. Parking rules at the marina were not clearly indicated.UPDATE: The restaurant manager left me their number online and I called and they (the RESTAURANT) comped the parking fee and arranged between the booting company and the marina to get my $89 refunded. Very happy that they took care of us. I just recommend that you are very careful about parking, there is only one place you can park for the restaurant.

Although tight dockage and expensive ( as all Marinas in the area are) EXCELLENT customer service. From the GM to dock master & asst. DM to staff, service people, dock hands and security. It is a pleasure to see an entire organization from the top down be so responsive to the customer

We recently did a multi day job at Rickenbacker Marina. Working with Jay and Gene in management and employees on the ground was an absolute pleasure. Everything planned between the two was executed perfectly and communication was excellent. We have worked in boatyards all over Florida and always appreciate clean facilities and friendly staff, Rickenbacker definitely has set the bar for that in South Florida.

Rickenbacker Marina its one of the oldest and most stylish of most of the marinas in the area one time I dont know its still there The Rusty Pelican great restaurant five stars theres other places to drink and dance the night away they also have good food and also they have places so you can launch your Marine vehicles

Parking is a scam!!!! Be careful they will boot you and give you the ring around!!! They don’t answer and the managers don’t answer the phones!

They scam people for parking. They have a third party company roaming the lot to put boots and charge ridiculous amounts. They need more signs, and forms to notify new people that are not familiarized with the area.

The lift operation management, the lift engineer and ground support team did an amazing job of coordinating and completly mitigating what had the potential of being a difficult issue had with my 54 wooden mast.

They booted a car with insufficient signs letting drivers know in advance. Not very accommodating when you notify them as well.

I applied for two open positions for the jet ski attendant and fuel attended . I was told I couldn’t be pass down for an interview because I didn’t speak Spanish in AMERICA .... AMERICA !!!! The application also stated Spanish was preferred NOT REQUIRED .

Horrible experience while being a client in the Marina. Also applies for south Florida Boatclub that even they say they are not the same management they are in the same location and dock.I had my boat for almost a year, my first boat a 1982 Willy Roberts a classic skiff form the key for fly fishing and they destroyed it in the marina.O suffered form an Abu Garcia reel robbery which I had to claim and I was sure where I left it was a place under cámara vigilance suddenly it appear and the manager called me a week later saying that the person was a good worker and that it was a mistake. I new who took it and I ask him to return it before going to the manager of course that didn’t happen until I formally made a claim.The worst was that afternoon was beautiful and I returned almost 1 hour before closing time (8pm) and specially asked to lift up my boat (if you arrived after closing time it sleeps In The water) they didn’t and the reason I asked it was because the water pump was not working, the boat slept in the water and the other day almost was sunked.A couple of weeks after I asked to put my boat down and the hawl cracked that was the end of my first boat. I disclosed formally in the management office in written all this situation, never had even an email or a call back. I tooked my boat to restaurarion and of course would never return or recommend the marina. For the Florida boat club another experience which I don’t feel like writing and even they make you signed a contract that you can review in social media!!! But definetly do not get in that trapp. A 2 year contract commitment and the service it’s super bad availability of boats, times and guidelines which the main mandate that cares is their insurance protection rather than making members happy or safe with their boating experience.Hope this works for whom ever is thinking in joint one or another.Regards,JC

It has a bus stop so you can stop spend the day at the beach, rent a board. Then wash up. Cross the street go to the restaurant views of down town Miami everywhere. Can bike there too has a bike lane.

You pay thousands of dollars a month to have your boat here and can’t even go on it because they don’t enforce permit parking. No way to get to your boat from the amount of unauthorized cars parked. Ridiculous. They need to start booting or towing cars that don’t belong in the marina.

Great place for docking your boat

Absolutely the worst experience I ever had.. it was my first time visiting the marina I was lost looking for a boat and it was a weekend.. I didnt know on weekends they dont allow service guys to do work. (Owners should know that not a company like myself) I asked a gentleman for help that didnt speak any English he started yelling I happen to understand very little Spanish so with that being said this guy cursed me out then muttered dam American.. very unprofessional rude and now it got themselves a 1 star rating.. be careful before doing business with this marina. If you want poor treatment I encourage you to come on by.. many other marinas that actually have respect for people for one and that are helpful on getting their customers need done. Good luck
