Been here a ton. Great knowledgeable service. Really good people there. We bought some new bikes and they really tried to make sure we got the right bike not most expensive we can afford. They can do repairs etc. Great store! And support your local bike shop!!

Haven’t needed any repairs, but when I do I will certainly go to J&B Bikes. I always support the mom and pop stores. They will give the best service. Best bike shop in Miami, the owners are amazing! Here they speak Spanish and English and they have a store with a big variety of bike products. They also have Energy drinks, hydration Gels and also they repair bikes.

They basically saved us during the start of the pandemic! My bike needed serious servicing and my bf wanted to fine tune his just in case (b/c we wanted to get it out the way in case of a long drawn pandemic).Sam was efficient and really knowledgeable. We both have different types of bikes but they were able to make the appropriate adjustments.

We’ve been to this place a couple of times and the experience was just fine. The people at the front desk (I am assuming, the owners) were probably not the nicest, most welcoming people I’ve met at a business, but the problem was properly taken care of in the time they promised, and i I was ok with that.As a fellow business owner, I know for a fact dealing with the public on a regular basis, could be the hardest patience test you can take, as common sense is definitely not common practice.

My bike was in rough shape after an accident. It now looks better than it has in ages. I almost didnt recognize it. It needed a new wheel, serious cleaning, and a tune-up. They got it done same-day, a few hours, and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.

These are the kindest nicest people who will go to the end of the earth for their customers.Bad reviews here are from one nasty, entitled and very angry old woman who didn’t want to wear a mask. I have heard nothing but good things about this bike shop and for someone to try to scandalize their name is very sickening. It’s sad how some people think because they are slimmer or look like they are in better shape try to belittle people. I can’t believe that woman behaving like a little girl throwing her little tantrum on social media just because Mask was required on the business . I hate wearing this mask too but i’m not going to get mad when a store requires it. High Ends restaurants have dressing codes and I don’t see people complaining about what they should wear . Stop playing with how others feed their family and go be a crybaby somewhere else .

I havent shopped here but this is in response to the owners recent encounter with Florida Woman. Any 1 star reviews posted in recent weeks are clearly an attempt to inflict harm on a business trying to operate safely whilst a virus is still prevalent in the community.

People are unbelievable females that want to hurt others over a mask are not human that old lady with the fake tan that she think she looks good and has the nerve to call other names honey look at yourself in the mirror first you are a mean un human you are are beast god don’t like ugly remember that . It is important to have a reliable business with knowledgeable people. This guy knew a second after looking at my bike what it needed and did the right recommendations without trying to take an advantage or pushing a sale.. it is nice to know there are folks out there doing the right thing.

This place is the BEST! I’ve been looking for a specific specialize hybrid bike. The website is out of stock. I called several bike shops and all of them were out of stock due to the pandemic... bikes have been flying off the shelves!!! A friend recommended JB bike shop to me... I contacted them via Instagram and told Ally what I needed. She took my info and told me she would get back to me. I continued to call other shops... one very popular local bike shop told me it will be back in stock in 2021!!!! I figured I’d be stuck for a few months BUT about a week later Ally contacted me and said she would be getting the bike I wanted in stock. I couldn’t believe it... I truly appreciate this type of customer service. They really came through for me. I highly recommend this shop for any and all biking needs.

This shop provided the most rude and condescending experience I have had at a bike shop in my life. I was out on a Saturday ride and my back tire was low. I looked for a bike shop near me and this one came up. I passed by and asked if I could borrow a pump to put air in my rear tire. The person immediately told me he was not lending out pumps and said if i wanted air in my tire i had to pay $5 for “labor” and his mechanic’s time. He proceeded to tell me “if you want air in your car’s tires you have to pay for it right?” I was hesitant to pay this but i did not want to waste my CO2 cartridge testing if the tube was good or not, so i accepted. When i told him i wanted to proceed with the charge he told me i had to wait 20 minutes because there were other bikes being serviced.I don’t mind paying for people’s work, but i have never felt like i was being taken advantage of by a bike shop before until this experience. Cycling is supposed to be a community where we help each other out, this guy just goes against all that and I would not recommend this bike shop to anyone. Avoid this place if possible.

Don’t go here!!! I asked just for I went to inflate the two wheels of the bike, they told me that outside I could do it with a pump, but despite I said it doesnt work with my wheels, they pretended nothing happened! and I wanted to pay to inflate them !! really not recommended!

Since covid has arrived the whole bike industry has been bonkers with retailers having limited bikes to sell as well as making being a bike retailer a double edged sword because of operating restrictions and high customer demand. Please keep this in mind when shopping and bring your patience and understanding.I had an issue with the bike that I purchased here recently that needed assistance from the manufacturer. They stood by their product and fixed the issue as well as making an additional needed adjustment. They fixed the problem within hours of bringing it in. Happy customer. They deserve the 5 star rating. Support this local retailer for sales and service.

Owner wanted $150 payment upfront for work on my bike because on his words : he was not sure that I will return to get back my $700 bike.I left his shop and went to Miami Beach Bicycle Center they took my bike, and did not asked for any payment upfront. Bought a new giant talon. Love the bike and best customer service . Went to 6 stores before and no one had bikes. The other stores don’t compare at all to the good customer service and attention you get at JB. Highly recommend.

Really bad experience, I bought an inner tube that was broke and the guy treat me really bad and didn’t help me at all

I have purchased numerous items from JB bike shop. I stopped by JB bikes and asked Sam the owner to help me out and have his mechanic put it back on. He said if I did not purchase the items from his store he was just too busy to help! I begged him to fix my bike (a 2 minute job) I said I would be happy to wait and pay double and tip the mechanic. I also said / true I did not purchase these items from your store ($35 chain ) but I’m a repeat local customer. I also begged him to fix it because Sunday’s are a big ride day. He was the most rude and arrogant man I have ever met. I guy that begged me every time I shopped at his store to get my friends to shop and service there bikes at his store!! I will never go back and I will make sure to mention how awful this guy is and the poor customer service he has! Now I see why he has such negative reviews.

The service was awesome, and i am extremely satisfied with my new road bike. They also have a repair room and a wide variety of gear for all types of riders.!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Let me start by saying this isnt a cheap run of the mill corner bike shop, they sell quality bikes from high end bicycle brands so make sure you keep that expectation in mind. If you want a cheap Huffy go to Walmart, if you want a badass Specialized or Giant bike this is your place.I used to mountain bike a lot and just recently got back into hitting the trails. I have an older Specialized Rockhopper that needs some TLC to keep her running and this is my shop of choice. My friends and I have brought our bikes here for service a few times recently and know they do quality work. Customer service is great, the owner and employees are kind and knowledgeable.They do tend to be really busy lately because of Covid-19 and bikes having been flying off the shelves, but it seems like certain bikes in the low to mid end price range have been in short supply everywhere. Ill continue to take my bike here to get serviced and am looking forward to upgrading to new Rockhopper once they get them in stock.
