Germain Marine was a pleasure do do business with. This is a place where you actually get personalized service and they truly stand behind the boats they sell. Purchasing a boat from them was a great experience and the customer support has been outstanding. Before buying a new Tige Boat, I looked at several other dealerships and the sales staff at Germain Marine was the most informative, with no sales pressure. When I was learning the functions of my new boat, they actually drove to Roosevelt lake and assisted in demonstrating the boat accessories, surf and wake board functions. If you are in the market for a quality boat, Germain Marine is the best as far as I am concerned.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT TO GERMAINE MARINE FOR SERVICE!!! Weve owned a 96 Stingray for about 5 years and currently it has about 400 hours on it. Mercruiser I/O. Weve ONLY taken it to Germaine Marine for basic service multiple times over the years since owning the boat without issue. Weve always been pleased with their service, until now. Took the boat in back in mid-June for a tune up, bilge pump replacement and to have the seals replaced. We had water leaking into the engine compartment after time on the lake. Estimate was almost 3k, so we elected to just have the tune up for now and the bilge and seals would be replaced next. Got the boat back a few weeks after the tune up. Put it in the garage until I had the loot to replace the seals and bilge. Gathered the loot and returned in July for the work. Got the boat back a few weeks later. Took it out and everything was great until we returned home and parked it in the garage. Gear fluid leaked all over the garage floor. Took it back for them to look at it AGAIN. After a week, got it back after getting the thumbs up from them. Took it out the following weekend and everything ran great. Parked it in the garage and again, gear fluid leaked all over the garage floor AGAIN. Brought it back AGAIN. They said the stern drive casing had a crack and that was causing the leak. It would be another $430 to replace. Whatever, we had them replace the stern drive casing. Got the call from the shop stating the boat was ready and it would be $800+ for the repairs. Hell no! We had been working with Miguel on this from start to finish. Miguel was not the one that called, but we eventually connected with Miguel and paid the agreed $430 for the repair. Took the boat out immediately after the repair. We never left the dock, as the boat wouldnt shift into gear. Just a nasty grinding sound. Prior to taking to them, this boat never leaked an ounce of fluid. It took 3 evaluations to determine the stern drive casing was cracked? When we originally got the boat back, Miguel even commented that aside from service, this boat will be good for another 10 years. Additionally, when Germaine Marine had the boat over the Labor Day Holiday, Miguel connected with us and said that if we wanted to come and pick the boat up to take it out for the holiday weekend, we could, so long as we monitored the fluid while out on the lake and add fluid as needed? HUH, doesnt seem like sound advice, so we let them keep the boat over the holiday weekend. Theyve had our boat 5 times now this summer and each time they touch it, it comes back in worse shape than when we dropped it off! We are now going on the 6th time this summer to now determine why the gears wont engage. Long story short, nearly 3k of work by Germaine Marine and our boat was better off in June before we took it to them. My boat has sat in their shop for nearly two months of the summer. I feel like Im on an episode of PUNKD and the camera crew is going to come running out from around the corner laughing... BEWARE!UPDATE: Oops, they did it again! Brought the boat back in for assessment. They claimed they didnt put things back together properly after replacing stern drive. Assured us everything was corrected, tested and the boat was lake worthy. Took it out to Saguaro Saturday morning and never left the dock... AGAIN! Boat still wont go in gear. Just grinding sounds. Again, our boat was in better shape before taking it to Germaine Marine. No fluids leaked EVER until they touched it. No issues EVER with gears until they touched it. Germaine Marine has demonstrated time and time again they arent competent enough to make repairs. Moving forward, well be seeking remedy in small claims court.Update 10.20.20: Germaine Marine now says they REALLY know whats wrong this time and its nothing they caused. But, they want to fix it even though its a big job. One catch, they required I take down this review first🤔 I offered to take the review down AFTER the boat was fixed. Who does that? Filed a consumer complaint with AZ Attorney General... Updates coming.

Bryce was well informed, answered all our questions and provided additional information that we would not have thought to consider, but was extremely helpful. Much of our contact was online and Bryce did a great job of keeping us abreast of the process. The staff and the facilities were top notch and I would not hesitate to recommend Germaine to anyone. You will have to excuse me because I have to go fishing now.

Not so good services, not sure why but I drove a 1 and 1/2 hour to this place and i never felt welcome . I made an offer on a boat after chesing who will help never got details either on what i was interested, expecting a call back from Aron, at lease to give me a counter offer or to let me know that didnt accept my offer, but nothing, I called him 3 times after that to check and never pick up or returned my call,left a message with one of his co worker but nothing. will never waste my time in this place again,,, I am updating my review from 1 to 3 star, Noah the owner call me concerned about my experience, he did apologise for what happened, and that he is working on getting better, i do appriciated that because he really care about his busines and our opinion, i want to thank him for doing that it takes a lot courage to to that,, hope on the future i can update to a 5 star, so am willing to give them another try...

They are extremely vague with quotes and are not forthcoming about details. Expect to pay full retail and be surprised in the end about the actual cost of the repairs. Prefer doing business with people that are upfront.

Noah the owner and Bill the service manager are extremely nice and friendly people. Noah connected me with a great boat for a great price and I know that he didnt make anything on the sale, but did it because he is a stand up guy, who I felt genuinely wanted to put us in the right boat for our family and he got us the best deal we could get with our budget. I appreciated his honesty and candor and we never felt pressured or like someone was selling us anything, but rather a friend helping us find the right fit. He has even offered to go out on the boat with us to teach us how to get the surf setup going, so we are looking forward to that. I did have a few hiccups with them after taking delivery of my 2015 tige z3, but after a few more attempts than I like they came around and made things right, which I appreciate in any company.

Drove from surprise to look at two brand new boats they are selling on Craigslist and on their website. They didnt have either one or any from the company they are supposedly a dealer of.

I gave their company one star only for the fact that their website claims they fix it all inboard and outboard they told me that my 1974. 40 horsepower Evinrude is too old when a company claims they fix it all they should stand behind what they say but on a good note theyre really professional and polite and apologetic.

Great group of guys. I had a Nautique previously and was in the market for a newer surf boat. Loved the performance and wave of the TIge. I bought a newer used Tige and they went the extra mile for me. They helped fixed a few items to make it perfect. I have had my boat serviced now and the price was way better and the service was better than the other shop that I bought my previous boat from. Recommend them!

**UPDATED**Germaine Marine turned me into a long term customer, made it worth the 57 mile drive, one way. Shortly after my experience with my original review, Noah contacted me and worked it out where the necessary repairs would be made and he would assure that the boat we wanted would become ours. He met with me and husband, along with his master service tech to go over everything that they did, which I now know was above and beyond for a used boat. The delivery from Bill was exceptional. As being brand new to boating, he thoroughly went through the entire boat with me. We took it out this weekend, and it did not disappoint. Very happy with our purchase and overall experience. Would definitely recommend them...Thank you to Noah, Aaron, Bill and Ricky.I inquiried about purchasing a boat a week and a half ago, even applied for financing. I had to call twice for a status update over a two day period then finally submitted and approved the next day. I had a concern with the details and was informed I could use my own financing, which I did. The next day I informed them that I was approved and my bank contacted them with the items they needed to cut the check...title, photos and Bill of sale. I drove 57 miles one way with the hopes of signing a contract and picking up the check from my bank. I was told that they did not have the title, say what, so they would be working on it and I could plan on Tuesday (8 days after I started the process) to pick it up. Monday came, still no title sent. Tuesday came and was informed that they only had the title to boat but not the trailer but offered my bank a guarantee of lien, which was accepted. They also informed me that they were sending it through service for minor repairs. Come Wednesday (10 days later) I am informed that they cannot sell me the boat because there are too many things wrong with it. I am baffled why any company would post something for sale without a thorough inspection, or better yet, aquire a boat from prior owner without doing so. Or they are just full of it and had no intentions of allowing a customer to go through their own financing and sold it to someone else. To pour salt on the wound, the other two boats we looked at, before decided on this, are no longer available and I am out $70 on storage space that I had to pay for a boat I do not have. Thank you Germaine for the wonderful memories.

What a great experience!!!! Walked onto the lot not really sure what to expect after being out of the boating world for the last decade. We were greeted by Jadyn. He took the time, literally 3 hours, which we couldn’t believe went so quickly, to talk about and show us all the great features of the newer boats. Wow they’ve come a long way. He was informative, personable, and extremely pleasant to spend the day with. We left that day without making a purchase. We drove to another local dealership. Along the route I joked with my wife, that this dealership would be a completely different experience. I made a joke that the sales guy would be some washed up used car salesman with no knowledge of the boats on his lot. NAILED IT!! Old used car salesman with not only no knowledge of the boats, but had no idea even where the local lakes were. Mind you, this was one of the larger dealers in Mesa. When he went looking for the sales papers that list his inventory, we ran off the lot as quickly as we could. Got into our vehicle and decided if we buy a boat it will be from Jadyn, even if we weren’t sure what boat we wanted. We immediately went back to Germaine Marine. Went back to the last boat Jadyn showed us, guy came out from the showroom, we quickly stated we are working with someone already. He said it’s ok, I am Aaron the sales manager, Jadyn is with another customer, how may I help you? We spent proabably another hour with Aaron, again another pleasurable experience with ZERO sales pressure. By the following week, we signed the papers on our boat. I have never had such a smooth, low pressure buying experience in my life. These guys truly love what they do creating a dream for there clients. They are knowledgeable, respectful, and follow through on everything they say. Any future boat purchase, service, or proshop purchases will be with Germaine Marine...Thank you guys for such a great buying and delivery process.
