Robert really did great work on my truck a while back and fixed what another mechanic messed up before. Prices are great and the work is honest. Will definitely be the one shop I take my vehicles to period.

Robert is absolutely positively the most honest mechanic I have ever had in my life. Robert is also the fairest in terms of price. I have a saying that a good mechanic is worth his weight in gold and I think it fair to say that Robert is the gold standard in so far as mechanics are concerned. As a Phoenix resident I went to Robert for over ten years and I wish I had someone as honest and trust worthy where I live now. Perfect Tune Automotive is the best at what they do, giving an honest assessment and offering the cheapest solution for it.

Rob and the team at perfect tune are class acts. We had an issue with our vehicle after failing emissions and came right over. He gave some great advice for free, and though we ended up not deciding to repair the car, his info was invaluable and I will certainly be coming back to him for future car work.All in all, honest people who deserve your business.

Nice place nice people. Kinda hard to find unless you know what your looking for. They will tell you honestly what needs to be done to your car or truck to get it back up and running. Especially if you need to pass emissions.

Its a great owner operator shop. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a more expensive shop but they definitely know how to troubleshoot and find create diagnosis for problems. As the name would apply anything about tuning up an engine or passing emissions stuff like that is their expertise

Robert told me to bring my truck to him between 8:00 am and 11:00 am to install pipe with converters when he called me he said that they did not need to be replaced that it was miss fireing on number six cylinder and it only had 50 psi compression he said he was going to take valve pan cover off to see if there was a valve spring broken and he would call me and never got a call as of 10:00 am next day so I went to the shop and my truck was still parked in same place I had put it the day before charges me $60.00 claiming he did diagnostics and also claims he parks ever car in his lot and if you would see his lot there is no way that could happen I would never have anyone I know go to him.

For the first time in my life i found an honest mechanic.....whaaaat! Its like finding a unicorn!Great price and a fast turn around! I will bring all my automotive issues here.

Robert is refusing to take responsible for damaging my car when I took my car into his shop to be service for a new alternator instead he worked on my transmission putting 5 quarts to much of fluids in my transmission causing damage to my entire car ruin my engine and transmission. At the time Robert was working on a 2002 Honda (Black) transmission during the same time he was servicing my car a 2002 Buick Rendezvous (Black). I was only having my alternator replaced and instead got work done on my transmission. I am not sure what all they did to my car for it to break down in less than 24 hours my car is so damage it ruin now.While speaking with Robert he hung the telephone when I asked him what was he going to do about my car and before hanging up Robert Sr did admit his worker put too much fluid in my transmission and he told me they would remove the fluid. What was strange is that one of his workers came inside the shop and said something to Robert in Spanish and he responded back in Spanish and walked out and return and repeated that 5 quarts had been put in my car and they would remove the fluids and he didnt charge me for the work. Robert did this so he wouldn’t have to give me a receipt and it would be his word against my word in court. My daughter asked Robert son who do work without charging the person? when he just charged me and Robert Jr admitted that his father is getting old and he is 65 years old and starting to forget things and don’t remember things he says or do. So, then my daughter told his Robert Jr. I quote, “ So you are saying your father could have told his worker to put transmission fluid in the car and forgot he told it to them do it since he is having difficulties remembering things”. Robert Jr began repeating what his father said, “do you have a receipt that we put transmission fluid in your car?” My daughter told him no because we did not come for transmission services we paid for a new alternator but we do have receipts for the oil change, air filters replacements, fuse and coolant for the air conditioner which he charged $189.00 and I am not sure if I got a new alternator was put in the car since the car broke down less than 24 hours after I paid him $464.12 We waited another hour and half for Robert mistake that has cost me my car as he brags about being in business since 1968. Robert is refusing to take responsibility for the damage to my car and fix the problem. I am so disappointed in Robert Sr and he has changed so much over the years including his mood swings, attitudes and not being able to remember what he says or do. So now taking your car to his shop is at your own risk. Beware and make sure he is doing what you are paying him to do because I watch customer come back and complain about him not fixing their car right as I waited.

My family has used Roberts services for over five years now. Perfect Tune always came across as a friendly and honest mechanical shop. However today swinging by the automotive shop asking Robert the owner if hed write me a note for court, stating one of the parts in my car was broken which he had diognosed.The owner Robert stated writing a note would cost money and he has a business to run which cost money and time.Myself a business owner completely understand nothing in life is free of course. However the guys son, an assistant was out trimming the hedges and Robert himself giving his dog water.I understand the guys having a slow day,which is rare. However still 1. Lying to my face youre too busy 2. Not being able to write up a quick note explaining something you diognosed for a long term customer. I would gladly provide $.05 in paper.Be veerryyy careful Roberts team may act like good people. Clearly their true character showed today. Wish we had seen this years ago.

Ive been going to Perfect Tune for 15 years. I trust this place with more than just my verhicals. I can call in anytime and get accurate and honest solutions to issues Im having with any vehicals and questions I may have about purchasing another one. The owner Robert is a striaght shooter who doesnt give you bogus information and always tries his best to save you money and give you exactly what you need. If you want a mechanic who is a Mesaite and will stand by his work, go here and you wont regret it.
