I rarely give 5 stars, but this is well deserved. Amazingly honest. I wouldnt say its the cheapest around, but lets face it, auto repair isnt cheap. I would say that their pricing is very fair though. Not sure Id trust the cheapest place in town anyway. You get what you pay for. Just had a lot of work done to my truck here and I feel I got great value and service for my money. Everything was explained to me in great detail and I never got the feeling I was being misled or being pushed into something that was unnecessary. Id be happy to recommend this shop to anyone.

My family has been coming to AZ Lucky Star for years. This is genuinely the best shop Ive ever been too that provides a bar none reliable service. The owners of this family business are very honest, courteous, professional, efficient, understanding and most of all, treat you like their own family! Their prices are more than reasonable and whenever they have time, they go an extra mile to make sure theres nothing else wrong with your car. Owner Bob, son in law, and of course his 2 daughters did a professional job in helping me with a transmission repair,after 1800 miles of travel. All are very courteous, friendly, and above all knowledgeable about the work they do. This family takes pride in their work as well as each other. Very admirable. I recommend this professional repair shop to everyone. I’ve been in the automotive business for over 40 years and have seen lousy shops and only some good ones. This is one of the good ones. If I lived near Mesa, bob would be my shop of choice for all of my automotive needs. Thanks Bob I am confident once again on my return trip to Minnesota.

Couldn’t ask for better service or results! I recently blew the transmission in my 06 f150, and after shopping around at pretty much every trans shop in Arizona, I was recommended Az Lucky Star Transmission by a friend. After having done business with them, I couldn’t be more pleased! Nice, new, clean family owned business by great people! Christina was great at explaining their process, making sure I knew the details about every option! even called throughout the rebuild to give me updates! When it was completed, Duscan showed and gave me a FULL explanation of everything that he did! Seriously, this guy knows his stuff! If you want your transmission done the %100 right way, definitely choose these guys!

I came in and they diagnosed it while I waited and showed me where the compressor was not working. My regular mechanic recommended them to me for my air conditioner. They were professional and fast. I would highly recommend.

Everything about this place was absolutely wonderful. The service was friendly. Bosko, or Bob, is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. They explained everything to me in a way so I could easily understand, since Im not a huge car person. The repair on my Honda CR-V was timely and the price was more than fair. I will definitely be coming back for every regular or emergency service.

SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE! My car would crank. But wouldnt start, I decided to take it in lucky star Bob found a code for the sensors so he went ahead and did that. the next day I picked my vehicle up he had me turn it on I was excited because it was up and running. So next morning I had the same issue were it wouldnt start! I had to wait until Monday to call back, i spoke to Bob and he said when you picked up the car it started didnt it? (How can someone guarantee their work for 5 minutes in the parking lot. ) I told him I was taking it in so i left it overnight so he could experience what I was experiencing, I called him the following day and he did notice that it wouldnt start! He asked if I had the original key to my car, (irrelevant) that there can be a issue with the computer ect ...my brother in law showed up and from there bob recommended me to take it to Nissan! I definitely did they changed the aftermarket sensors that Bob put in and gave them back to me, 2weeks later I went in asking to get a refund for the sensors that were not compatible to my vehicle and they started questioning me! I have a 90 day warranty! At that point I knew nothing was going to be done BAD COSTUMER SERVICE OVERALL

Lucky Star was very professional with dealing with our car repair. The transmission went out on a 09 Toyota Camry and it was a shock how much those transmissions are but Lucky Star had the patience for us decide to fix the car or trade it in. They fixed the car and we have no issues. Cleanest mechanics shop in the Valley.

Ive been coming to these guys for all my vehicle problems since the day I could drive. Theyve taken care of me and all the needs of every vehicle Ive owned. Never had to revisit them for a repair on what theyve already fixed. Worked with me on my low student budget to get my truck up and working at an affordable cost. Great people, and very great at their job. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their vehicle fixed right the first time.

My father in law visits this place frequently. Not having many reviews, I had nothing to go by but his trust. These guys knows car inside out and they are trustworthy. They try to save people money by saving on parts and doing double work instead of replacing whole unit....and sometimes get screwed for it. They dont need my review as they been around 20yrs so they have their clients fixed but found them to be honest and reasonable.

My 2007 GL450 have been having suspension problems for the past 5 years. Countless visits to Mercedes Benz of Chandler...that was until I was referred here. My car drives like new. Im soo Thankful. Honest shop, Great Customer Service. I highly recommend them to even high end cars owners who are out of warranty. They know what they are doing and will get your car fixed right the first time. So if your Mercedes seems to have issues it just may not be the car, which is what I started to think, but the dealership you are taking it to. Had them check my car because of a oil leak and the mechanic was right on and new what was the problem.they done a great job. I put 4 stars because they forgot to put one hose back on and the car started to idle and even stop at the light. Also the repairs arent cheap but so far so good. I will evaluate in another 3weeks.

Came into them because I thought I needed breaks. I think the labor maybe a little high, but after leaving the truck, they checked it out and Alex told me I have at another 5000 miles left and do not need breaks at this time. That means something to me.

Arizona Lucky Star has become my new car repair shop. I like that they are family owned and operated...as that is totally conveyed every time I deal with them. Doushin (sorry spelling) the mechanic is approachable...easy to talk with...and understands my mechanical lingo...it goes vrrrrrbbbbbb....ting ting ting....crunch ding crunch ding...he gets it and then can articulate it back to me in real mechanical speak....and then best of all FIX it...and for VERY very reasonable prices. Bob is wonderful, he explains things and walks you thru EVERY detail of the job...AND physically shows you the problems. Ive recently made the switch...Ive had to pretty big jobs done and I am VERY satisfied...ILL BE BACK!!! THANKS ALLSusan

I only buy used cars and they tend to be European models. My latest car is a Mercedes and I took it to Bob to get an oil change. I asked Christina if they new how to reset the computer on the Mercedes. She said the whole family drives Mercedes and yes, they could reset the computer :) Bob called me and said the left outer axle boot was broken. He sent me a video so I could see it. We rescheduled to have the axle replaced. When it was in for the axle replacement, Bob called me and said the inner right axle boot was broken AND when they were disassembling to replace the first axle they noticed the ball joints had a 1/4 slop which meant new control arms(Bob also sent videos). I wasnt happy about the extra expense but I was happy that he found the issues and could take care of it that day. The car has over 100K on it so Im not surprised at the need for repair. Bob showed me the parts when I came to pick up the car. The ball joints were in horrible shape.I also had the same car towed there when the serpentine belt broke about 6 mo. ago.I like these guys. They are very nice and aim to solve your problems without trying to oversell.

I moved to Arizona eight years ago and found Lucky Star about six years ago. I never buy a new car, cannot stand for driving off a dealership parking lot and already losing thousands of dollars of equity.Needless to say I buy all of my cars with 100,000+ miles and always aim for 200,000. This works for our family but only works if you have a great mechanic. After three horrible experiences with other shops I found Lucky Star. Lucky Star has been used by my family for the last six years. They have done everything from a simple tire path (which since I was a regular they didnt even charge me for) to over $4,000 in repairs. I trust Bob and his team explicitly with wavering.Here is why. If there is a problem with your car he will take the time to being you out to the car to show you specifically where the problem is... often with Goggles and black lights when needed. When you car is done you will have a replaced part like and he will show you the part that was removed from you car and where the specific problem existed. I have never been to a shop that did that, and often at other places I left wondering if the work was done at all.Recently I had just returned from the dealership where I bought my car (they threw in a year free oil changes for me) and they told me I needed a CV Joint replaced. It wasnt covered by my extended warrenty and the price to replace the joint on my axle would be $385. Bob looked at it and said for $400 I can give you a brand new axle not just replace the joint. While doing that he discovered a leak in my air conditioner, and an antifreeze leak. Needless to say total repairs were scheduled at over $4,000. He fought with my extended warrenty and got all but a fraction covered by them, and caught all those repairs that the dealership had missed. Had I driven that car to Flagstaff with those problems I would need at minimum a new engine, not to mention the tow!After all that he found another major part that needed to be replaced that would not be covered under my warrenty. He searched and found the part in three times better shape than my old one (remember you always see the parts he removes) removed it at the pound and put it on my car for a fraction of the cost... all because that is just the kind of guy he is... shows loyalty and treats you like family when you keep going back.Needless to say I could write so much more... but statistically 80% of you stopped reading after the third paragraph! Best place to take you car to be repaired. Hands down!
