I went in with a jammed hand gun which I thought was ruined. They greeted me and immediately took my weapon to the back and 10 minutes later, good as new! The gentleman was kind enough not to charge me a penny to fix my weapon. Thank you again! I purchased ammo while there and it was decently priced. Top notch. We past this place leaving the Space Center today. I went in nit expecting much. Boy was I wrong. They have everything!!! Ended up buy the wife a M&P AR15 chambered in 22 plus a few accessories for my 300 blackout. They attached all her accessories and even lubed the gun for us. These guys are awesome and willing to go the extra mile to help you. Great store even better prices. A++++.

Had to share my experience, great prices especially in these times, somethings out of stock but thats everywhere. Staff was extremely helpful on my build. I even had a problem i caused and they repaired it free of charge. The gunsmiths identified my issue quickly and i was up and running. A week later i came back in and they remembered my name and asked how i was doing. Not too many places i go do that. I had a sig that never worked since i bought it, figured it would be a shot to see if it could be fixed, it runs great now. Thanks you guys A+ work! Seriously great guys (just wish you guys carried suppressors)

I went to a gun smith in rockledge to remove a barrel nut .he said it cannot be done without breaking my gun because the bolt was so tight.I took it here and 2 hrs later they said come pick up my gun it is ready. I am so happy with their services. Will be my go to gun store. Good prices too!

Great place to do business with. I had a gun shipped to them for an FFL transfer. They were extremely helpful, very professional and the transfer was a breeze. They have very strict Covid mask policy and I personally feel it made for a very safe visit. They have my business in the future.

Dave, Matt, and Joe are the best guys Ive had the opportunity to do business with. This store has the absolute best price on ammunition, firearms, and accessories of any brick and mortar store ive been to, and is now the only gun shop that I will go to anymore. Matt (the gunsmith) is always a good sport when i bring in one of my rifles or handguns that Ive been too hard on and is always able to get my babies back up and in proper working order again, he is a treasure trove of knowledge (as well as everyone else behind the counter). 11/10 will forever recommend.

Just came here to say that the people behind this store are absolute LEGENDS. Every gun shop seems to be price gouging like crazy during this panic and these guys still have stuff at normal prices, super friendly and helpful as well.

Merritt Island Gun Co. is hands down the best in the firearms game, & my go to shop for everything firearms related, they’ve helped me from start to finish with 2 gun builds at the lowest possible labor costs ever, they have the widest selection & best prices on any item needed, I’m currently having a frame shipped to them for my FFL needs, & I’m obviously going to have them help with my build yet again, these guys are great at what they do & they’re very knowledgeable, I’m normally in the shop for 2-3 hours and that’s at least 1-2 hours after they’ve completed all tasks for me, I’m always finding things that I would normally have to order online right in store, keep up the great work guys.-Var

This is a shooters gun store. I buy as much of my reloading supplies here as I can. I also buy my weapons here as well. If you want to pay more, go to another store.

This Shop is the way a gun shop should be operated. Very knowledgeable staff. Friendly and very helpful. Willing to bargain. I was able to trade in a gun for a new one I wanted for a price that was more than fair for us both. Great selection of inventory...especially reloading stuff. I always leave with a good feeling. Its worth the drive from Melbourne.

I live about 30 minutes away and pass 4 other gun stores to shop here exclusively. They have a good selection if you are building an AR or if youd rather buy a built one they have those also, and at very reasonable prices. Good selection of handguns, GREAT ammo selection and almost all the bits and bobs you need. It can get busy in here sometimes and that just shows how good they are at what they do. Keep it up guys!

This was my go-to FFL when I lived on Merritt Island. The staffs are very polite and professional, the prices are the best I could find locally and you feel good being a customer. Definitely check out the store, it’s small but comfortable and they got everything you will need to service your firearms.

Great shop, I had them hold my guns for us while we went on our cruise. They were very professorial and made a work order for the guns with serial numbers off them to make sure both parties where covered.I cant thank them enough as I was worried about leaving them in our car even in the gun safe as we were gone for a week.

This shop is outstanding! The selection is greater than you would expect for a shop of its size, and the prices beat out the three major chains! And equally, for me, the staff is friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to meet your needs without trying to sell you something that you dont need or that may not fit your needs perfectly!

Its a small store but they always have a variety of guns and accessories/ammo in stock. Dave, the owner, is plenty knowledgeable and a great guy willing to help anyone out. Ive heard him say before that hes here for the local shooting community and I certainly believe him, even with the panic no ridiculous over priced anything, all perfectly within reason and limits placed on how much ammo you can buy in one go to ensure theres plenty for everyone. All around great shop and fantastic guys running it. Never had a bad experience.

I was so relieved to finally find a gun store where I was treated with respect. I had been dealing with another place on Merritt Island where I was ignored and had to beg to be served. Merritt island Gun company was happy to see me and glad to spend all the time I needed to feel comfortable buying new items. On my second visit I spent 1200 dollars and left feeling like I got a great deal and was well educated on my purchase!!! These guys are great. They have made a life time customer and friend. This guy is a Jackass. Has a sign on his door that states a max of 10 people in the store at a time. OK, I can understand that. When my buddy and I walked in the dude behind the counter rudely asked if I had read the sign. I told him I had but needed to come in to do a head count. He then proceeded to announce to others that there are other gun shops on the island. I let him know that I was taking my money else where. My friend and left and went to another shop 4 miles away and spent $1800 between us.

Came down to port st. John from Jacksonville for work, and went to probably 6 or 7 gun shops in a day to find my new gun shop. These guys where the best of the lot, friendly staff and good selection for the size. Gamut of brands for rifles and pistols, and great reloading section. Very reasonable prices on everything, and the least expensive transfers I have seen South of Smyrna. I come from a retail background and these guys hit all the right cues. Lots of stock of harder to find calibers for very little money, everything from 9mm Browning to 6.5 carcano and 8mm mauser. Good common stuff too. I look forward to seeing these guys.

I went to the store to check out the inventory and purchase a new handgun, shotgun, and some optics for a previously purchased AR-15 from another location. As soon as I walked in I was NOT greeted with a hello, instead was rudely asked if I read the sign outside the business. The sign said no more than 10, but there was no way of telling how many people were currently in the store. 2 other patrons walked in right behind me, and immediately walked out after hearing the next comment from I assume was the owner. There are a bunch of other gun stores on the island! With that being said we had received the utmost respect and customer service from another gun store just down the street. Their prices were better and cheaper than this location. I also heard that this store sells used guns as new and the integrity of the owner has some questionable business practices. Although it is here say, the way he treated me upon entering his establishment showed his true colors. Never have i been treated like this, I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. Look at the previous posts they are all over a year old.
