Im from central Kentucky. This is one of the best big & tall departments I have seen. Nice folks at the registers and the store was spotless.

Returned items, sales clerk was friendly and helpful. Afterwards went to purchase items, since school has started there werent a large selection. When checking out, again this sales clerk was equally as friendly and helpful as the first sales clerk.

Its JCPenney what can I say. It brought back memories from when I was younger. The store itself was looking bare in spots and I get that. The staff was outstanding they were 5 star for sure all willing to help out. And Levis were on sale for 40 percent off so.... Cmon that sealed the deal. Great job employees of Southlake Mall JCPenneys.

Their prices and coupon incentives are the best. They carry a good line of clothes. Their salesman stayed with us until we found everything we were looking for.

I like this JcPenny. It has a good selection of clothes and it not dirty. Some are messy, but this one is nice and neat. The mens shoes can be expanded, but still there is a nice selection. They have a great homegoods selection too.

I have been a fan of JCPENNEY many, many years. Not as big as Macys, they would compete against Carson Perry Scott, now theyre closed. They were higher end than Sears, and now theyre closed. Ill keep shopping at JCPenneys for as long as youre open.

Good buys, but having to walk to the other side of the store for a cashier was a bit annoying.

I found the store to be nice, clean, and somewhat organized. I saw a lot of items in disarray. Customer service was very scant. The sales were pretty decent not to mention the coupon they had as well. I would recommend.

Wonderful shopping experience! I was able to receive assistance from a staff member to get the additional 30% off today! This helped my Christmas budget tremendously! Thank you for your help!Yet, the store is short help or the manager failed to put enough employees on to cover the floor. Another guest, who was in line to be checked out, stated she wasted more time in lines than picking out her gifts. She wondered what will happen in the following two weeks if all the stores are short of help now. I had to agree with her as there was only one cashier by the second floor exit to the mall at 1:20 PM. I purchased the one item and moved on to two other stores in the mall who had plenty of staff on their floors.Sorry, Pennys as a former employee you have wonderful merchandise, but poor management.

Will never shop at this store again. I had nothing but problems when trying to purchase pajamas that were on sale on the jcp website, but ringing up full price in store. I did my research, and the jcp website itself DOES say it WILL acknowledge online prices and honor them in store. Well....I didnt get that kind of service! The pajamas I wanted were $15.59 online. In store price was $52.00. They were on A CLEARANCE RACK and the sales associate in that department told me that the price would be adjusted!! There was no way in hell I was going to pay full price. I was told that if the cashier adjusted the price, she would get in trouble for doing so. The cashier suggested I order the items and then go downstairs to customer service to pick them up. I agreed. She entered my info into her computer and provided me with a receipt. I headed downstairs to customer service (located at the opposite end of the store) and spoke to an associate. Explained the circumstances. She got her manager or another associate (Im not sure who), who spoke to her manager. I was told that I COULD NOT take the items home that I PAID FOR and were waiting for me at the cashiers desk because...get this....they have to order the same exact items from the jcp warehouse and I have to wait approximately 7 days and return to the store to pick them up!! Seriously, what kind of nonsense is this, JCP?? This company wants to waste employee time, waste money on shipping an item that was already in store, plus waste money on shipping costs. Its insane. I dont place the blame on any of your employees. They were all kind and as helpful as could be. It just does not make sense. I left the store fuming mad. On top of it all, there was only one fitting room open in the entire store. In order to try something on, you had to walk to the other side of the store. Ridiculous. I have contacted customer service via email, and posted this as a buyer beware to other customers.

Girls in drapery and household are great. JCPENNEYS drapery department is great. They can order from internet if out of stock, and do custom. The ready- made selection is great. You should measure your windows before you go in. Wouldnt be a bad idea to take a picture of room and bring paint samples etc in to match in a zip bag. Also nice selection of rods and hardware .

Cashier said I could get 30% off if I applied for a Pennys credit card. After what seemed like a tideous process and qualified for the card, I was told I could NOT use it on what I had intended to buy for since it was clearance. Really? I would never had applied for the card otherwise!

The woman at check out was fantastic. She suggested applying for the JC Pennys card because it would include added deductions then helped with the process because I broke my reading glasses. I know she was just doing her job but she was so nice and pleasant about it that I will go out of my way to return to her store. Excellent customer service!

I used to love JCPenney and I would do all of my shopping there, but now after they reopened from covid-19 I can see why their stores are going into bankruptcy and they are closing. Rude customer service, prices have gone up extremely high! And theres no selection anymore...theres literally maybe 8 racks in each dept of clothes and they are all $45+. Sale items are what the normal prices were.

Ive remembered JCPenney since I was a young kid. It is one of those stores I always visit when I go the mall.Friendly staff people say hi when walking in the door past their cash register station. I always like businesses that hire and instruct their people to welcome and say hi to guests. It always adds a little joy to my day.Lots of fun housewares, clothes and other items. Its fun to see what theyll display now that were entering the Christmas season.Im not a hugely materialistic person, but I do like window shopping and checking out potential gifts for friends and family. Its always nice to see what JCPenney has to offer in the housewares department since those items seem to make great gifts.

The sale prices were good. However, my husband was followed around the store and at check out I was mistreated. There was makeup on the dress I wanted, it was only one left so I asked the cashier if I could have some money taken off. She didnt say anything, picked up the phone (I assume she was calling her manager) she told the manager the price of the dress and then laughed. I guess because it was on sale I shouldnt have ask for more off.

JCPenney has a nice variety of casual clothing and their prices are competitive. You still need to use the discounts they offer and the coupons to get the best deal for your money.

Found what I was looking for. Could not find it at other department stores. They have a Big and Tall section. lot of the department stores dont have a big and tall section. But JCPenney does and Ill keep Buy in my t-shirts there and they last a long time to good material and good prices
