Unfortunately my XT5 was totaled and required towing. Ryan helped me connect with a local towing service covered by my Cadillac warranty. Schepel allowed the car to sit in their lot until I was able to get my belongings out and decide on a new vehicle. I purchased a new XT4. Love it!!! Ryan went out of his way to go over all the options and get me just the car I wanted. He made sure all the new options were explained and demonstrated to me. Schepel is truly a first class operation. I would highly recommend it!

I can say this is one of the best dealers I have been too. We ended here because the dealer down the street sold the vehicle we went to go buy. However I am so glad they did because Mr. Young did an awesome job. We found the jeep we wanted and for the price we were looking for, he did everything he could so we could be satisfied with our purchase. A few weeks later I had a few issues with the vehicle, and is understandable its a car things can happen however the dealer took care of all repairs that needed to be done. During the time the car was getting fix they gave us another vehicle. They are so professional and friendly, in the future if I need another vehicle I will be going back to them.
This place is THE BEST. Shopped online with five different dealers. Paul S from Schepel call me back right away, and spent over an hour just on the phone to make certain I knew exactly what the vehicle had and how it matched my needs. When I came in Paul and Ryan (the sales manager) could not have been more attentive, or informative. They were patient, never pushy, and when I was there and done, I bought a vehicle fire under market value and yet they still manage to give me over market for my trade. If you want to buy a Cadillac, GMC, or a Buick, don’t waste your time anywhere else this is the place.

Okay I Know Its Cadillac But Maintenance On EVERYTHING Is So $$ High. If You Have A Warranty You Should NOT Have To Pay For EVERYTHING Being Put On The MACHINE For Separate Charges Without Being Qualified Through Your Warranty Or Being Reimbursed If Your Warranty Covers That Cost. Sounds Like A Racket?? Then Your Technician Guy Charges $$ Pricey Hourly Fees To Repair (Tho Technically Qualified). Your Income Should NOT Be An Issue In The Price To Repair Things That ALL CARS Experience With Time. Its Always Clean. Staff Appears Friendly.

Not a very good experience. First time I went by I had a salesman named Gabe. He was very polite and was a professional. The second time I went in a lady had called me to come back and check out more cars and she had told me Gabe would be there on the day we scheduled. When I got there Gabe wasnt there. The salesman that I had gotten (Im not sure his name) was an older guy. Completely treated me like a child. From warning me that the Cadillac I was looking at uses premium gas that would increase ongoing expenses and upkeep to the car to warning me that I would need to put money down on the car. I may look really young, but Im a dentist. I didnt tell him that I was already approved for a 60K loan. I wasnt happy with the service so I put in two low ball offers on the car that I liked and left. Wont be returning.

Trying to make them my regular go to for service to my whip, but I always go away feeling less than fully serviced. I was told by my service writer that they had a sale on an oil change, but it was for synthetic oil only. He then convinced me to change to synthetic oil to which I agreed with this oil change. I pickup my vehicle and review the bill only to find that synthetic oil was not used. Important to know for the next oil change, where ever it may occur. As the service writer, who goes over your service to make sure your satisfied, you would think theyd know!

We have been customers of Schepel Cadillac for years and they have never let us down.We recently brought our vehicle in to have the AC fixed- and we were expecting an expensive repair.We got an expensive repair- and entirely new AC compressor.Then we got our bill -$0.00-.Even though our vehicle is not under any type of warrantee, they did the work for free due to a factory recall (that we were totally unaware of)It is refreshing to deal with a company where we can have confidence that they will do the right thing- even when nobody is looking.Thanks again!

Just recently took in my 2018 XT5 to get serviced, took them an extra day to re-calibrate the shade and moonroof, then charged me $100 for dog hair left in the car. Called to speak to the Service Manager Lee Muhleman whom was completely RUDE and tried to humiliate me. Reconsidering service with this dealership!! RUDE MANAGEMENT

This is how car buying should be. They dont have to try very hard to sell you a car but yet theyre willing to work with you because they want to, never felt like I had to. All the salesmen were great even the ones that I wasnt working with stopped and talk to me and made sure we had what we needed show us where the waiting room was. There was beverages and things to snack on. Everything happened at a timely fashion. This is my fourth used car from them, theyve all been high quality, and theyve always taken care of me. After buying four cars I would say yes they are worth visiting for your next vehicle. I recommend to my family, friends, and anybody else.

Went in for a basic service (first time, I was recommended to go to schepel) was met by josh Chavez at the door, not only was the service performed in a timely manner, josh was extremely professional and knowledgeable, as I had recently had 9,000 in work done to my truck by another shop, he had the mechanics check it over while explaining the importance of other services my truck was coming due on. Highly would recommend to anyone to go to Schepel. Was treated extremely well. Was informed on other issues with my truck I wasn’t aware that I’ll be bringing back to have fixed at a later date, thank you again. I know where I’ll be taking both vehicles from now on.

Matt Gonzales was my sales person. He was excellent in that he answered all my questions with knowledge of the vehicle, did everything I asked him to do to prep the car, and got me what I thought was a great price. I purchased a 2013 Cadillac CTS Coupe and it looked like new when I picked it up. I live 100 miles away from the dealership but would recommend to anyone to make the trip because it will probably be worth it and make sure you ask for Matt!!

This has to be the 3rd time I have been to this dealership and I always find them to be honest and upfront. Jay is probably the best of the bunch as he listens, takes time to understand your needs and get your car done without trying to sell you services you do not need. WIll continue to come back as other dealers in the chicagoland area are less than forthcoming.

I am a long time customer of Schepel Cadillac and have always been completely satisfied with the excellent service I have received from the Sales Department, Body Shop and Service Department. I have utilized the Service Department since I purchased my first Cadillac (a 1977 Coupe Deville). I fully trust the experience and professionalism of all personnel at Schepel Cadillac.
I purchased a used Cadillac from a different dealer (as is) still a great deal because I work on cars myself. The blower fan went out on the first day and I thought no big deal. After I looked at things I knew it was over my head in expertise, so I didnt touch anything. I decided to bring it to Schepel. They diagnosed that the previous mechanic put in a similar motor and wired it backwards. Schepel got the correct blower, corrected the wiring and it took them about 4 hours.The staff there were nice and spoke to me as a person not as a mark. Nobody attempted to sell me any vehicle and things were taken care of very efficiently.I would definitely go back again when there is something over my head.

Take a care in for services is a nerve racking event. Will it get taken advantage of? Will this cost me a small fortune? Will I be treated like I do not know anything? I one who likes to do most of his own car repairs. My CTS is the exception. It has been to the Schepel three times. Each time the services staff was friendly, engaging, and treated me like an old friend. Each repair was provided with great communication before, during, and after! They made the experience pleasant. Pleasant enough I have returned for additional services.Additionally is the waiting areas and services area. When you spend the money on a Cadillac you expect a level of service and quality of the building. Schepel meets this! The spaces are comfortable, clean, and classic. If you judge a car dealership like I would a restaurant, by how clean the restrooms and floors are, then Schepel is a winner!I hope my car never requires service again but reality says it will. When I does I would not hesitate to contact Schepel.
I have many very good experiences with the Schepel Service team. It starts with Jay the Service Writer who discusses the work to be completed on my vehicle. He immediately looks to see if the work I need performed is covered by either the GM warranty prior to 50,000 miles and now my extended warranty to minimize my out of pocket expenses.The service technicians who work on the vehicle get it right the first time. They do not give me back the car if it is not repaired properly. Another good experience is the loaner vehicle that I am allowed to use while my CTS is being serviced. I currently only own one (1) vehicle. I am not stressed by having to go find a rental car to use.They use an outside contractor to straighten my bent aluminium rims. Since December 2015, I have bent six (6) rims due to excessive potholes on I 94, I 294, as well as, the other roads in Northwest Indiana and Chicago-land. This work, as well as, tire replacement due to road hazards is covered by an additional warranty I purchased with the help of my initial salesman Mike at the time of my purchase in March of 2015. Since December of 2015, the warranty has paid for eleven (11) tires. Wow at $325 per tire, the warranty has certainly paid for itself.I give the service department at Schepel Cadillac 5 stars!! Great job!!

The waiting room is a pleasant room to wait in while your car is being worked on.
Problem:Even when I ask, like this last time, you wont return my instruments to their original settings. So.....that means I either have to wait for someone to come out and do it for me when I pick up the car, or if I dont have the time, I have to fool around with the settings at home to get it back the way I want it.

This is the 2nd. time we have brought in our vehicle, the problem still isnt fixed. If a customer brings back a a car for the same thing I thought someone wouldve paid closer attention to this issue.
