After my house was flooded. I had to replace my flooring and decided to also replace my carpet. Stephanie was a great help with picking out sample and taking excellent care of me. The guy who installed my kitchen and laundry room was also great and definitely knows what he is doing! Thank you very much for making my disaster a great experience!
Do not use this company for flooring. We waited a week for them to come take measurements. At the time they measured I specifically asked if installing over the existing floors would be a problem. I even showed them every spot where the tiles were loose or damaged. They assured me it wouldnt be a problem. That was on a Friday. We called Monday to check on our quote and were told that now they cant install over the existing floor unless we pay extra to have them encapsulate the floor first and that wed have to wait for them to quote a price on that. Im not going to do business with a company that lies to me, especially considering the volume of other reviewers who also had issues. I was willing to give them a chance anyway but will now be taking my business elsewhere.
Our last and final experience was not a good one, to say the least. Communication with Stephanie was awful. If you asked her to do something she did something else. The day of install we were called 45 after they were supposed to be out and told they lost our flooring. I told them to cancel the vinyl flooring and just do the master and refund our money. I went into my office to work and when later I went out to check on the progress the installer had already ripped up my laundry room flooring stating that the flooring had been located. We sat for hours waiting for the located flooring Stephanie never called to tell me the flooring had been located, after I told her to cancel. She could not even listen to basic instructions. The only good thing about this situation was the wonderful installer Scott. Unfortunately he had to wait around for hours doing nothing after being told the flooring was located. They didnt complete the job so we asked for a refund, without any discussion of the amount being refunded we received what we believe is only a fraction of what we are owed and although we paid for the flooring they took it with them. I tried to call Stephanie but she would not answer my calls, she says she was driving, but she didnt even try to call me back. I also emailed Stephanie to tell her to cancel the plumbing services, but of course a plumber showed up at my door. No call from the store manager. This will definitely be the last time we utilize Great Floors. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Horrible communication, lack of professionalism and the worst customer service.
I have worked with Great Floors in the past when I carpeted my restaurant on two occasions over the years (5 stars each time) and when my nephew had his hardwood floors refinished (100 years old). When it was time to re-carpet my home, I knew where I was going. This time I entered the store to be assisted by J Jones. Each step of this experience was worthy of FIVE STARS. J Jones for his assistance on helping me to select a carpet and pad that will last for years. Bill who came to my house for the measurements. Bennett and his co-worker that showed up ON TIME to move out my furniture. Gabe and his assistant that could not have done a better job on install. I would recommend Great Floors to any person needing floor covering. Great service…great product…great team of people that each did their job worthy of FIVE STARS.
I was highly impressed with Shay at reception, she was so welcoming! Also, Stephanie in sales was great too. We will definitely be doing business with them again!
Thank you so much to Jeremy Calhoun and Luis, his install crew at Great floors. Everything went smoothly, the customer service, knowledge of the products, prompt and professional care was a cut above the rest! The service, product and installation from start to finish was stellar. Highly recommend them!
Jamie was amazing to work with. We were able to get an order put together within a matter of hours for our WHOLE house and Im happy with the price. Communication was outstanding.
Very disappointed! Recieved a bid for outdoor carpet on three steps and a landing of 4x4.5...it was over $700. Carpet is about $90. Really! Guess it wasnt great for us. We will not use them. 🙁
If I could give a negative 1 star review I would. This is my 5th or 6th time using Great Floors and my last. Lack of attention to detail by one John B. was epic. I dont think he could have done anymore to mess it up. The subcontracted installer arrived to install the wrong sized tile. He said this is the last job I go on for Great Floors, this happens all the time. Save your time and heart ache and go elsewhere. On top of that I got a bill in the mail for the installation materials today, a month later.
I don’t understand the 3.5 overall rating. This company did a great job and a huge shout out to MATT for making it happen! Great value and quality, he was on site to kick off the job and back again end of day for the walkthrough. He clearly articulated how everything would be, so there were no surprises. I already have plans for Matt to come back with his guys and do the next phase of our home. We are extremely happy and will definitely be referring! Well done!
Great Floors is horrible, avoid them. Project got delayed, and finishing was patchy. Poor customer service, employees have no respect for customers, they do not admit to the flooring issues.
We had Great Floors replace the carpet in our new house with LVP and love it!! Were back to have our upstairs done now as well as the stairs themselves. Were also picking out carpet to have made into a custom runner. Great Floors has our business and I recommend them to anyone else needing flooring done too
Great sales people. Too bad it’s all for nothing if the product is defective. Great floors will not only not stand by their product but will go to great lengths to get out of any sort of responsibility. Not talking about a whole lot of money either. Just a simple fact that they don’t want to be accountable for anything that they sell. Greed above everything else. The store manager Morris is a shining example on how not to run a company And how not to be a leader. Everyone does a good job until there’s a problem. How you deal with those problems are what determine whether or not the company has any integrity. Based on this example I would say that that is not a company focus
Couldnt find a single employee wearing a masks, a blatant disregard for their customers and communities health. Especially considering employees are constantly moving within six feet of customers and staying there to talk directly at them. Absolutely disgusting, its been almost a year since masks were put into effect and no one working here cares.
Terrible customer service! Project was delayed a month due to their Inability to communicate! If you’re doing a construction loan, DO NOT USE this company! Numerous phone calls and no reply. Dan treats you like a number NOT a customer. Utility cabinet was no measured correctly, when we called, his response “you must have changed the wall!”. No accountability! Little communication! Terrible!
Left phone call feeling confused and upset.Great Floors installed my hardwood floors late last year 2019( We enjoy our floors, zero problems) as we were building our home. Cut to October 2020 when my husband and I rearranged our furniture and moved our couch over, we found damage on the floors that was left from a nail sticking out of our couch. I immediately contacted our builder who put me in contact with great floors because I wanted to use the same company who installed our floors to possibly repair our floors. I got a hold of them and told them the situation they seemed very open and eager to help us. 2 weeks later a gentleman came over to look at our floors and give us a potential quote for repair. He asked me a few questions consisting of if the floors were nailed or glued and how they were installed.. Which I would not know the answers to, hoping that they would know since they installed? The gentleman wrapped up his time at our house and said he would get back to us with info and a quote. Almost 3 weeks past until I remembered that they had not been in contact with me. I called the company and got a hold of a gal who I explained over the phone the situation and wanted to check in to see if they had come up with a quote since it has been so long. The gal over the phone ended up telling me the gentleman had decided that they were not “comfortable” with the doing the job and was not a job they felt then needed to be apart of?!Taken aback- I was frustrated that they were1) Not planning on letting me know this at any point? We could of been searching for someone else to help?2) Why would they not be willing to help us out repairing a floor that they installed?Left us feeling weird and confused.I totally understand that some jobs just aren’t the right match but it’s the lack of communication, knowledge and details of why they don’t want to repair our floors.
Came in to ask a simple question and got met with hostility and a work staff with no one wearing masks. I will not be coming back and am recommending others go elsewhere for flooring needs.
Great flooring options, very knowledgeable staff, and great pricing. Would definitely recommend! Large projects or small these guys know their stuff!
Outstanding service and install. Jamie, our sales person and point of contact was great. He came out and measured and even gave me some advice on installing some vinyl plank I bought elsewhere and was installing myself. He recommended a quality carpet that was a little cheaper since we looking to save some money and dont plan on being in this home long term. He talked us into their best pad which was a great decision and we are happy we got that pad, carpet is a dream to walk on. There was a small flaw in the carpet that we didnt notice after the install, upon further discovery it turned out to be a manufacture flaw from the factory, and they came out and replaced that room, no questions asked. Highly recommend them and Jamie specifically.
We had the flooring in our living room, hall, and main bathroom replaced. Our salesperson, Kenna, was very friendly and informative. She communicated with us every step of the way and was understanding when we elected to wait until after the holidays to go ahead with our project. Bill came out to measure and was thorough and knowledgeable. As a former installer, he had an eye for details and took extra time to carefully measure the differences in existing flooring to be sure the new underlayment would be correct. Our installer, Santiago, was friendly and professional. Our job was not large, but we were never made to feel that it was insignificant. Kenna called afterward to ask how it went and if we were satisfied. We will definitely use Great Floors in the future.
I’ll start with what transpired; whoever initially showed up to measure, did so incorrectly and the floor layers showed up with the wrong size underlayment. Then, i happened to walk by a piece of board (not the flooring i picked out) on my way in the house and went rushing in to find them halfway done installing the wrong flooring... when i contacted the office, their solution, or in their words, “to make things right” was to have the “contractors” continuing laying the floor, the wrong floor! They were quickly directed to tear it up and start over with the correct flooring that i picked out for my house. My decision. ..it took them NINE hours to lay laminate in a small kitchen and small bathroom. To say it took the nine hours to complete the job, is an understatement. They had to come back for 5 additional hours to finish the job they didn’t complete the first day. To add to that experience, two contractors showed up first thing and pretty soon one was gone and another man was in my house working. I asked if he had any experience in laying flooring and his response was he was just helping his cousin. But i was charged labor for great floors supposed contractors to professionally lay my flooring. It was less than professional. Customer service was less than ideal. I regret going through this process, which i shouldn’t have been my experience at all.
We recently had Great Floors replace the carpeting in our entire house. The experience from our sales rep. Kenna to the installation was very positive. The product is excellent and at a very fair price. The installers and case movers worked very hard to finish the job in one day and were very pleasant the entire time. We would recommend Great Floors for any of your flooring needs.
Good selection of flooring. Excellent prices for the product.
I had a very negative experience with the installment. The store refunded my money in full. They also stated they talked with the installers to ensure no additional issues occur in the future.
Picked up vinyl and chip for the floor remodel. Courteous, efficient staff got us in and out quickly.
Do not use this company!!!! They gave a quote of $250 to stretch the carpet in our entire living room. When the gentleman showed up he said it only need to be stretched by the entry way and not the entire room! He was here all of 25 min from set up till finish. They still billed $250. My wife spoke to them and they will not return any part of the $250. This company has no morals or concern for the customer. They are only out for the dollars! I’m amazed how places like this can still be in business after the way they treat paying customers!
I will never go anywhere else! I just purchased a home and when we did the walk through the furniture was in there so I thought the floors looked ok but once we took ownership and the furniture was out I was devastated! They were destroyed! It was so bad we had to re-carpet the WHOLE House! John saved me! He and his team took such great care of me and my family! They worked with my budget, showed me tons of options and answered all my questions. The carpets were installed the next day and look amazing!!! Were so happy! Thank you!! ❤
I am in an apartment, Im told the vinyl needs to be replaced because there has been water damage. OK, so since Covid hit in March, Ive been working remotely - at home.. So when the technician gets to my apartment this morning, he knocks, immediately rings the doorbell and by the time I answer the door, less than 10 seconds after the knock, he is already turning the key in my front door lock. THERE WAS NO WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER THE DOOR, HE WAS JUST GOING TO BARGE IN. He was literally turning the key when I opened the door. I am SO angry about this, This is so completely inappropriate. I would never used this company if it were my choice, due to this incident alone.
Just wanted to share that I have had nothing but great service from the property management department at meridian great floors. I have worked with Erik and Sarah 3 times this year coordinating new linoleum and carpet in my rentals. They are very available and very flexible. Did a fantastic job each time. Also used them 4 years ago for my personal home and it was also a great experience. Until. next time Great Floors, thank you very much!!!
Always helpful and very kind.
I come from a family owned small business always prefer shopping small than the Chain Stores. But when we went in not one person out of several employees could even greet us let alone provide pricing on floors that are not even displayed for some unknown reason. I will take my 1500 sq.ft flooring to another business that will appreciate it :(
Great Floors was tremendously helpful in a daunting project that seemed nearly insurmountable! I had many questions before I walked through the door the first time, and each was answered professionally, including additional information to assist me in my evaluation. There were even times I simply asked, Is there something Im missing or need to ask that I didnt think about? and I received more information. Every person I spoke with in person or on the phone handled the discussion as if it was the most important project and I felt like every detail was covered. If I discovered I missed something later, I felt welcome to call again. Great Floors was also a tremendous advocate for me when the mill/manufacturer wasnt so helpful or prompt. The project was done by a wonderful crew who were respectful, courteous and friendly. Plus, they completed the project more than a day ahead of schedule! I HIGHLY recommend Great Floors in Meridian! Thank you for your incredible handling and support during the entire process, Great Floors!
Employees of businesses should be wearing masks whether mandated or not for the safety of their customers. Not a single employee wearing a mask is a very poor reflection on the business.
Lots of quality product. Very nice and accommodating staff. I have bought there previously and they have rendered excellent service
DO NOT .. I repeat DO NOT go here for flooring. Definitely stay away from Shelly (supposedly the manager... yeah right)They are higher priced for lower end flooring and Customer Service is non-existent... One of the worst in town. Try anyone else.
My wife and I had shopped several stores looking for LVP and carpet to replace what we had in our home. We met with Stephanie E. during a couple of our visits to Great Floors. She was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful as we went through process of deciding what products we wanted installed in home home. We are very happy with our new flooring and appreciate everything that the employees did there to make our experience a good one. Also a shout out to Shelley who assisted us too.
Great Floors has always been our go to for flooring for our Property Management company. Always love working with John and Erick. Thanks guys for always making our job so easy.
Full disclosure I personally install for this company as a subcontractor. In my experience with them they are a fantastic company, they always deal with any issues asap for both installers and customers. I highly recommend Great Floors.
Warning! This retail store has a great selection but TERRIBLE service! We went into the store on a VERY slow Wednesday afternoon, there was maybe one customer in the store and over 20 employees sitting at their desks, pretending to be busy. They couldnt be bothered to even acknowledge we walked in. Now, I dont like pesky sales reps however, some assistance would have been nice! I finally spoke to one of their team members after 10 minutes of waling around aimlessly and she acted like she worked in a Beverly Hills boutique. She was completely rude and we live in a multi-million dollar home, lol. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere!
I just used Great Floors in Meridian to lay brand new flooring throughout my entire house, and I couldnt be happier with the end result!! Total cost and quality far exceeded my expectations! Brandon Emery went above and beyond for us and the customer care was next level! I would absolutely recommend Great Floors to anyone looking to put in new flooring!
The entire crew were professional and friendly. I am so thrilled on how my floors turned out. I have shown my floors to many friends and recommend Great Floors to everyone I talk to. Karen at the store was fabulous. Thanks to everyone I came in contact with while planning and having the floors installed.
(Revised below)Walked in later in the day on a weekday. 3 women were standing by a desk talking. They all worked there and not one even looked at us. We wandered around looking for a particular style of vinyl flooring so after 20 minutes, we finally went back to the women still talking and asked for help. One acted put out but came over and looked at our old sample and said That is over here, did you look this direction? No! That is why we were asking! She did not suggest anything and assumed we knew her store and what they stocked because she went on to say this is the vinyl we always stock, where you were looking, that has to be ordered. Her tone and demeanor was very off-putting. We have over $2,000 to spend on flooring and counter-tops plus tile... The manager needs to look into this as they are losing sales by the people they hire. We are going somewhere where they care for the customer... You can bet Ill tell all I know not to go there...Update: Our contractor said to give them a second chance so we went back in on Saturday and were treated totally different than the time before. We were greeted warmly & bought the flooring without any issues and everyone seemed nice and helpful. We already knew where everything was by then so it was pretty painless.
I went to Great Floors wishing to replace all the flooring in my 3600 sqft home. My husband and I spent time in the store picking out flooring, and had someone come out to our home to measure. After a few days we stopped in the store and asked about our estimate. The sales associate Karen said she hadnt gotten to it yet or received a bid from an installer yet. I called back a week after our home was measured and was told that the bid wasnt done yet, and because we lived in McCall they were too busy and suggested we look elsewhere. After two weeks of waiting on them, they now tell us they werent interested an over $10,000 sell? The associate Karen who had been helping us was never friendly or acted as though she wanted to help us. Ill never go there again...and I just wonder if I hadnt called how long would she have kept us waiting! Very, very poor customer service. Ill never go in that store again.Update: The response from owner states the associate did not know we were out of the area. Well, Yes she did know that as she was given the address before anyone came out to measure for flooring, and the fact we live in McCall was discussed. Response from owner; they offered to locate a local installer for us. No, they did not. What the sales associate, Karen, said was, that I could find a local installer, and that they were not interested in helping us.
So unorganized and screwed up our kitchen backsplash project not once but TWICE- never GO here! The staff never prepares their workers accordingly and management was a huge disappointment. Take your business elsewhere!
Great selection. Customer service fabulous! Mr. Gonzolo stayed with me from start to finish and patiently answered all questions about pricing and installation.
I have purchased carpet here over the years and have always been happy with both the service (I personally use and recommend Steve and yes it DOES make a difference in your salesperson) as well as the products, mainly carpet for my homes.
Great sales staff! Awesome project managers! Wonderful experience all around!! Thank you!
Lost my business being closed during normal business hours on a weekend. Purchased flooring for our entire house at Home Depot instead.
I rarely take the time to write a review – though I always check them out before I make a purchase. Anyway, I feel I must post a review for Great Floors. First of all, I secured a bid from three companies, and Great Floors was low bid so I know I received a good price. The customer service was terrific (Ken Miles). The installers were clean cut, respectful and professional. The end result exceeded our expectations, and we would/will recommend Great Floors to anyone considering a carpet and/or vinyl job (Be sure to ask for Johnny to do your stairs install). Very Sincerely KM of Boise ID.
I thought Home Depot was bad. At least they returned calls. I finally gave up after trying to reach the so called assistant manager Shelly several times. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere...
Salesman was a pleasure to deal witj and very professional and knowledgeable.
We had GF install a floating laminate flooring a few years ago. It’s already started to come up and break in some places. While very unfortunate, we recognized that it was likely the flooring we picked but wanted to find out how much it would be to fix (in the interim before replacing the whole floor). We’ve been in the store multiple times, and emailed the same people, including our original salesperson. We only got a response when we clearly stated that we understood it wasn’t under warranty and we would pay out of pocket. Two weeks later and we’re still waiting on someone to come out and look. Even during the original install process they were flaky with their contact and hired a subcontractor which was clearly an entire family making less than minimum wage working +12 hour days. At this point, we’ll take our business somewhere else. It shouldn’t be this hard to give someone your money.
We moved into our home and had all the carpet replaced and two bathroom floors replaced. Picking out the carpet and vinyl was smooth and easy. We worked with Erik who came to our house to measure everything. The workers did a great job especially on our wrapped staircase. We were charged more than what we were quoted and they worked with us to get it down to a closer figure but still we ended up paying almost $900 more than what we thought we would be paying. I feel like the process of measuring and giving more accurate quotes could be improved but we are really happy with the product. Our home looks beautiful and I have no complaints about the installers. Wish I remembered their names.
Went in early today no other customers in the store sales woman came up to us never introduced herself we asked a question and was showed the design center and she left . We continued to shop found everything we wanted but had to leave after 30 minutes and could get no one to help us. It is clear that they are tied up with to many builders. They dont want a 50k cash customer.
Wonderful experience, they have the most choices I have seen and are very open about pricing and where to focus your choices based on your budget. They even have some flooring choices specifically made for them which are in stock and priced great.
I had a great experience with Great Floors. JJ and Santiago took very good care of us. Very friendly and awesome work. Will refer to friends and family.
These guys are awesome! John Bovis is great to work with. Love my new tile flooring, carpet, and also the tile backsplash in my kitchen. Great pricing and total pros at demo and installation.
Nice selection.
Good selection, good knowledgeable, helpful staff and prices seem good.
Walked in with some friends to pick out colors/style for some flooring that we are doing for our new business location. After about 5 minutes of browsing without a single greeting or offer to assist, I am contacted my a sales person named Shawna Steinwinter. She asked if I need any help. Told her that I am looking for a color and design for my business so that I can have my project manager and contractors pick them up.She flat out said that she had an appointment coming up with another customer. She doesn’t want to start helping us just to hand us over to a new sales person. I can understand if the place was extremely busy, but we were literally the only customers there (2PM) on a Friday. She didn’t even offer to send us to another rep or point us to someone who wasn’t “busy”.I’ve worked with company many times before and have never met such a response.Horrible customer service.
Fantastic selection, service and value.
They have everything you could ever want.
Kali was awesome! Everyone was friendly and helpful but Kali definitely wins our future business...and the Cookie Monster award from our granddaughter!
Great Floors needs to change the name to Not Great Floors ......very poor customer service, waited almost a month for transition moldings, they goofed and ordered more flooring, not the moldings, here it is 3 weeks and still no moldings while the house is a mess!! Were waiting and waiting and waiting. Spent $2000 with this company and we just get 1 excuse after another, Freight is a problem coming out of California. We see Fed Ex planes landing every day at Boises air terminal. Waiting and waiting and still waiting. Play it forward and take your business to someone who cares.
This company is TERRIBLE. They must pay to have their score appear higher because these numbers dont add up. Do not make the mistake of shopping with them. I thought since they specialize in flooring, that they would be knowledgeable and helpful. WRONG! Im redoing flooring on a tiny bathroom and wanted vinyl tile - this is what I told, Patty, the salesperson. She showed me their samples and I picked the color I liked. She ordered the flooring and when it showed up it was 4 foot long planks - ridiculous for a 6x5 bathroom floor! That length wont even work in the size of floor Im doing. They refused to return the flooring even though the boxes werent opened because they say its a special order. How is it a special order if you have it showcased in your store? We tried to return it immediately because we told Patty what we wanted and this flooring doesnt even come close. The person working said its a new product for the store and Patty probably didnt know what size it was. Still they took no responsibility for not knowing their own product. Pretty sure thats their job...They gave me the runaround for weeks, even the manager, Mike, said hed call me back and never did. Im remodeling my entire house and Im glad I started with the small bathroom, so its only $300 down the drain. What a garbage business. Theyd rather lose a customer and everyone that customer talks to for life just to avoid returning $300 worth of unopened flooring.
My salesmen went out of town for a week before he was supposed my order. Didn’t tell me he was leaving and didn’t hand it off to anyone else. I called the store multiple times. I left 2 voicemails with the sales manager, Shelly Malohn and she never called me back. I also emailed her and she never emailed back. Horrible customer service. Will never do business with again.
Great Floors will not refund money on unused and unopened boxes of flooring if you purchase a kind that is not in stock. When trying to return the boxes, was told they informed us. We have nothing in writing. Would be willing to pay restocking fee. Called next day to talk to salesman. Was told he is on extended leave. Left voice mail for store manager two separate days. No response. Awaiting response from Customer Service number at headquarters. Beware - BBB rating is F for unresolved complaints.
Poor customer service. Multiple phone messages never returned, bid was never completed, what was given was poorly represented and by the time they finally emailed me my quartz was no longer available. No confidence that the kitchen remodel would go well.
Terrible customer service! We are looking for tile for the backsplash in our kitchen and stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to check out what they had. My husband and I were in there for 15 minutes and not a single employee acknowledged us or asked if we needed help. There was one other customer in the store at the time! When we left all the employees were at the desk in the front engrossed in conversation. Thought maybe it was a fluke and stopped back by the following Friday afternoon to look for something specific..... same experience. There was another customer in the same section of the store and neither one of us were acknowledged! Even had an employee walk five feet from me, make eye contact, and then proceed to answer her cell phone and talk to her husband about their plans for the evening. Then walked away and never said a word to either of us looking at tile. Again I left without having a single employee acknowledge I was in the store. The worst customer service ever! We will gladly take our money someplace where they care about helping their customers. Don’t waste your time or your money here.
Looks like there are some great deals. There are some carpet close out carpet Athen price limited to inventory on hand.
I am very disappointed in this company... I use to use them a lot when Seth worked there and they were great Now I cant get them to return calls or even get me bids. They have lost my total respect and I am a property manager with a lot of work to give them. I will never call them again for anything.
We purchased whole house carpet and installation in 2010. After about 2-3 years we started noticing buckling and lumps in the carpet. They came out and knee kicked in a few places that did not resolve the issues. Now we are getting professional estimates over $500 just to fix the bad areas which have become trip hazards. These guys are telling us that the carpet throughout the house was not stretched properly. Is just not right that we have to pay to take care of these issues.Update 10/23/2017.Morris responded within a day and took care of my concerns. He also took the time to explain the factors that could cause carpets to buckle and how they go about fixing the issues. He sent Josh Luevano out to stretch and repair the carpet. Josh did a fantastic job the carpets look 100% better. He is a master at his trade. The response from Great Floors and the work to repair far exceeded my expectations. We couldnt be happier.
Unprofessional. Took months to get job done, and refused to give us a schedule. Cancelled appointments multiple times and difficult to reach by phone.
DO NOT GO HERE! I went here today and experienced possibly the worst customer service I have ever had. Very unhelpful, rude girls working there. They aggressively watch and follow you around while you are trying to shop and when you tell them that you do not need their help at the moment they roll their eyes and walk away. Absolutely ridiculous. The quality of the flooring is terrible at best.
First, the rep was 30 minutes late to give me an estimate. No phone call, no email to let me know.... After waiting 5 days for the quote he promised in one day, we emailed and got the answer that he was off and theyd give him a message... That was two days ago. I guess they dont need business... They did the same thing to our friend that had them come out for an estimate. Terrible terrible way to do business!
Very tight place and poor management .
HORRIBLE! We recently had them install new carpet and wood floors in our building. Weve had nothing but problems from day 1......and we are still having issues with the wood flooring not sticking and the carpet isnt flush with the wood floor and trim. DO NOT USE THEM!
Extensive selection of flooring and tile. Sales staff very pleasant and informative
Had our floors done finished staircase today, Jose and his crew did such a beautful job !! We would recommend. Thanks. Mike and Dena
Very unprofessional and never got back to us about our carpet installation.
I think that they take advantage of rental companies. I had contacted my management company because my carpets stunk when I moved in, they set up the appointment with Great floors who came, sprayed something spicy on my carpet then left--after making the appointment with me to clean the carpets. (no cleaning happened).Needless to say, 3 days later my carpet stopped smelling like spices and went back to smelling like wet dog. So I contacted management again, and Great Floors sent out a boss-guy who was appalled at the smell in my apartment, said he would come back and have the floors cleaned. We set an appointment, and NOBODY CAME! (after I moved my bed, dresser etc.)When I called Great Floors directly, I was transferred around until I got somebodys answering machine.I have had this maintenance request in for 4 weeks. I feel like Great Floors does the absolute minimum for renters, because they can get away with it. I tried dealing with the smell myself, but I can only sleep with the windows open til it gets too cold, and can only afford so much febreeze--but still...all of that works better than this carpet company.
Meh
Great products, great service...no more to say
This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. First of all, half of the items in their store are “special order” which means it is non-refundable. They never once said special order means non-refundable. Apparently EVEN IF THEY MESS UP it is still non-refundable. This sounds more like a scam than a business that cares about customers. My wife and talked to the sales rep and stated we were specifically looking for LVT tile. The sample they had on the sales floor was not currently in stock because it was a new item. They ended up ordering long planks that look NOTHING like tile. They look like plastic strips of laminate. When you go to a store like this you pay more than a typical box store. You should be paying for the service and expertise which they offer none of.We knew that the wrong size was ordered when we picked it up, but we were told we had to talk to the sales rep. who was not there. We tried to return it the next day and no one could help us. We called a “manager” and he said it would get taken care of and he would call us the next business day, but he never called back. We finally called back 7-days later and the original sales rep. was even less help. All they could say was it was non-refundable and wouldn’t take any accountability. NOTHING on our sales receipt said anything about it being a special order or that is was non-refundable. If we had known it was non-refundable, we would not have let them order it. Even then why would they think we wanted long planks when we came in looking for tile for a small bathroom?I am so glad we started off with small order first. We are in the planning stages of remodeling our entire house. If we had trusted them and ordered more we could have been out $1000s instead of a few $100. Nevertheless, I will never set foot in this store as a customer again, I will tell everyone about our experience every chance I get.
Do not buy your floors here, go elsewhere. Chuck will tell you the floors will be in at a certain time. Then after you paid, theyll be a couple weeks later. Then a month late. So now we have no floors. Terrible.
I use great floors for all my remodeling and i am starting to use them for all of our new construction. I have used great floors for 9 years now they have some of the best carpet installers in the valley, i say give them a try they have all the carpet you will ever need plus they have many different types of pergo flooring as well, and many different types of countertops to choose from including granite and quartz countertops. I get all my flooring and countertops from great floors cant beat the prices on a lot of their inventory.
Great selection but a little pricey.
Awesome folkes and great selection of flooring
Was looking for a different type of product.Reviewed because I cant seem to get it off my list.
Customer service was okay, prices are quite high.
Messed up our order causing a late installation. The professionals were anything but and turned a 3 day job into a 3 week delay that cost us over $2000 in bank loan extensions.
I didnt care of the selection and pricing.
I wanted to express how great my experience with GREAT FLOORS was from start to finish but a boring letter of gratitude does not fit me. I hope you enjoy my thanks through my rendition of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”!Sincerely,Jennifer Buckels.Cutting Edge Pilates, OwnerTwas the Night Before Flooring by Jennifer BuckelsTwas the night before opening and all through Pilates; Jenn was shaking from nerves (or maybe 5 lattes). With the move of her business she was a bit crazy; and with all to be done, her vision was hazy. There was moving of boxes and equipment galore; new paint, mirrors, internet; not to mention the floors. But there now youll see, Jenn had not a care; as the GREAT FLOOR staff members she knew would be there. It starts when she walked in the door with the trim, of the GREAT FLOORS location- in Meridian. To smiles she was greeted by Spencer and Bob. They were helpful and genuine, neither one was a snob.Jenn explained all her flooring needs, and both men were quick; to give her some options and pricing to pick.Answering all her questions, calls and emails aplenty; the order for flooring was placed and then gently...The transition to Project Manager Dan; wearing his camo GREAT FLOORS hat, another nice man.Dan was quite helpful leading Jenn through whats next, offerin’ nice explanations she wasn’t perplexed. He told of the process and how itd be done. Of the timeline, etc. and hed be the one...To be able to contact if something seemed ruff; but he knew all was well...in walked Lanny Huff.Dan did hold his tongue but his eyes how they cheered; Heres our best installer, the one with the beard! No truer a statement Jenn knew could be uttered; putting flooring together as if made from butter. He worked with precision so nimble & quick; had his beard been all white, shed have thought him St. Nick. Then all of the sudden the floors were all done; the mess was all cleaned up and Jenn was the one...To stand there in awe of how GREAT the FLOORS looked; the color, the texture Jenn knew she was hooked! From here on forward she knew what to say; to any and all throwing questions her way…Who did your flooring; who passed the test?”. GREAT FLOORS Jenn will answer is hands down the BEST!
Know nothing about flooring..

I dont normally give bad reviews but after the last month of dealing with Great Floors, I am putting it out so others can have perspective.Have you ever been lied to... Repeatedly? It stinks, almost as bad is being lied about. Great Floors tells one thing to the PMC (Property Management Company), another to the Owner of the house and third to us. What they did not know is we are close friends with the PMC and Owners and we compared notes. Shame on you GF.Issues:1. Carpet in a closet had liquid Tide split on it.2. Pet odor/urine saturated the carpet pad and floor in a bedroom.3. Some kind of spill damaged the actual carpet in a spot.Recommended Solutions:1. Replace the carpet, pad and tack boards2. Clean the carpet, Kiltz the floor, and replace the pad3. Spot replace the damage to the carpetRound 1:1. Carpet replaced but pad and tack boards left. It still stank of tide. When called on it, GF said they replaced the carpet but would doit again. (Not even a good lie)2. Carpet was kinda cleaned but still stank. Pad was left and floor was not Kiltz.3. Damaged carpet was not replacedRound 21. Pad replaced but tack boards still the same. It stank of Tide2. Re-cleaned with the carpet left saturated with chemical. Still stank3. Damaged carpet replace with the grain of the carpet going the wrong way. Plus the pad put under it is thicker than the rest of the room. Now it looks bad and sticks up catching the occasional foot.Round 31. Tack boards replaced. The smell is still there but does not Stink of Tide2. Most of the floor Kiltzed, much of the pad replaced and the carpet cleaned and left saturated.3...Round 41...2. When we pulled the carpet back, GF could see the urine spots on the back of the carpet. They cleaned the carpet a final time leaving it saturated with chemical...3...Today:1. Open the door and you are greeted with Tide sent2. We removed the carpet and pad ourselves. Smell is pretty much gone except for the parts of the floor GF did not Kiltz. kids are camping in a common area while we schedule new carpet installation.3. Moving furniture out of room to prepare for the whole carpet to be replaced.Conclusions:a. GF blame issues on others (They are not loyal to the absent)b. GF does not do what they say they will do the first timec. The least possible work is done and then will see if anyone notices and calls them on itd. GF is not skilled at patching carpete. GF is not skilled at cleaning carpetf. GF is unprofessionalg. GF is incompetent, deceitful or bothPossibilities:It is possible that a dishonest flooring company could really take advantage of property management companies and owners of rentals. If I was a dishonest flooring company and after the exhaustion that comes from dealing with carpet issues, this is what I would do to get the most money for the least amount of work.-Take work orders from the PMC-Show up at the property-Old renters are gone, new are coming-Do some visual work-Never do everything that was paid for the first time-Count on new tenants not complaining cause they dont know any better-Count on PMC to pay the bill without visually verifying all the work was completed-Count on the Owners to pay the bill and assume the work was completed-If someone complains, claim you did the work but you would be happy to do it again.-Do one additional thing-If someone complains, tell who ever you are talking to that you want to make it right but it is difficult dealing with the renters, PMC or owners depending on who you are talking to.-Count on everyone finally getting fed up and making do so you will never have to complete all the work.-Figure 70% of the time you wont get caught. 25% of the time you will have to do some more work and only 5% will you have to complete all the tasks you were paid to do.-Of course if it looks like you are going to get caught red handed, volunteer to replace all the carpet to save the contract with the PMG. This would only happen in very rare cases.
They have rugs that really tie the room together
Bought carpet for my new home here. After shopping around they were very comparable to other carpet stores
