I went here to pick up some things for my Father in law while he was working on a project. I asked the employee(s) for help finding things and they were extremely helpful in finding exactly what we needed. The checker was also quite helpful when he waved me down since I didnt see that he was open. All in all, every visit that Ive had here has been a good one.

I have switched here to the Eagle Idaho Home Depot, from Lowes for 3 reasons. One they are cheaper, two they offer a veteran discount every day, most Home Depots only offer a veteran discount on 4th of July in Veterans Day. 3 they have high-quality handicap carts. Lowes carts are poorly maintained and typically run out of battery within just a few minutes.

I ordered windows on 12/21/20. I have been waiting for my windows all this time. It is now June. I was told I could not cancel my order because the three day grace period had passed without losing a sizable deposit. I will never order anything from Home Depot again. Complete lack of communication unless I initiated it. The windows arrived in the Boise warehouse in April. In May I was told they were the wrong windows and had to be reordered. When and if the right windows ever come, Ill let you know.

The manager at this Meridian location is extremely dismissive, unhelpful and not customer service oriented. (He closed the register we were next in line for without a word or explanation- or even acknowledging our presence. Then, because we had a military discount and couldn’t use self-check out, he proceeded to scan our purchases as if we were somehow inconveniencing him. Further, the support in the “nuts, bolts and fasteners” section sent us to shelving for the part we were trying to find. He said he didn’t know where it would be but said to “ask someone over there” and he hoped they didn’t send us back to him. We love Home Depot but will not return to this location.

They’re Home Depot. Hard to hate. If they don’t have what you need, check Grover’s or True Value Hardware - but usually Home Depot has me covered. The staff is the absolute worst except for the old men who know their jobs - and I mean that. I’ve had zero help otherwise, but go here and find the old men. That’s the ticket: super helpful. (This comment is aimed at every female staff member ever who did not help or bother to help every time I asked for help. Who hired these people? Training in customer service please!!)

What a wonderful, dedicated team they have over at the meridian location. JUDY and JEN are AMAZING!!!Judy had been helping me track down an order I had been waiting months for! (Not Home Depot’s fault) she even went as far to offer to drive out to the carrier’s facility to retrieve my order that had been sitting on a trailer for 2 weeks. (YRC Freight is horrendous, how they remain in business is beyond me) Judy and Jen followed up with me each day and kept me in the loop with what was goin on as my order was time sensitive. These ladies really went above and beyond!! Kudos to these two, and Home Depot for hiring such great employees. I couldn’t be more pleased with the effort they put in, even though the deadline was missed.Thanks ladies!I’m one happy customer.

Every time I go in the store I cant get anybody to help me do anything. Struggled to get something down from a high. An employee saw my friend and I struggling and mentioned that it was way up there and then he walked off. Gota forklift to get something else down while we were still struggling to get our item we needed and then drove off with it. Came back walking up a few minutes later and said oh you still didnt get that down yet. Are you kidding me? We also told the manager that we needed help and he never got it for us. This is just one example of the way that the employees at this location dont do anything to help anybody.

After waiting through my 14 hour delivery window, my lumber never arrived. I phone the store in meridian where I spoke with 2 managers and another gentleman with poor customer service. They could not give me any answers to where my order was. At one point the gentleman told me that he would have to check the back to see if the delivery company had picked up the order, but wasnt sure when he would have time because he had costumers in line waiting. I told him I had been waiting for 14 hours and then he put me on hold and transferred me back to customer service. Another gentlemen said that I should call the delivery company to check-up on that delivery. Basically, for me to do his job. Currently Ive been told to call back tomorrow morning(Saturday) and hopefully I can get out delivered. I spent $300 and 14 hours for this unbelievable customer service. This is why I prefer Lowes. This never would happen at Lowes. I will never step foot in the meridian home depot again.

These guys, as well as all home depots in general, or horrible. Their customer service is lazy and sub standard compared to other companies of their size. These guys cant even fax documents...thats a pretty basic ability these days. So they either are sub par, or they lied to me because they are being lazy. Im not sure jow much their employees get paid but they should definitely clean house and hire better employees.I could list at least 5 reasons why i will never be returning to home depot, just in the last 6 months. But im not going to belabor this point.

Went to find some plumbing parts for my compressor. Walking through the store I was asked by every employee I walked past if I needed help. The employee that helped me not only told me were to look, but found all the parts I needed. I went to two other hardware shops and got no service, but they also told me the wrong aisle to look. I was a great experience. Definitely will be returning in the future.

This is only based off my experience with the paint pro “Ron” and getting paint matched. For starters the company I work for spend thousands at Home Depot on a weekly bases and I only have issues getting paint matched at this particular store. Ron has told me once, after a single failed attempt to match a color that Home Depot cannot match it. Today was icing on the cake for me. Ron matched a gallon of paint for me and when it was done I watched him put a sample on my sample but before he began to dry he wiped it completely off. Then acted as if he was drying then showed me. It match because there wasn’t any paint on it. Needless to say the paint doesn’t match at all and I think it is time to move on with Home Depot and go to Lowe’s.

I ordered blinds and shutters in July 2020 it is now April2021 and I still do not have a completed job. I was told the blinds would have a cornice at the top and they do not. 3 installations and it has been since January for the third appt and I still don’t have the remaining items and not one word from them. Seriously thinking about going to court to get my money and repairs for damage done to window sills during installation. They insist on full payment upfront and then push you to the side.My advice is to steer clear from Home Depot for window coverings. The installer is great but the company sucks. They say they are going to compensate me $ for the delays but who knows? How do you compensate for this much very poor customer service!I did hear that Costco does a great job.

David, the kitchen designer at the Meridian Home Depot is fantastic. He was a great deal of help in getting our cabinets identified and ordered. Websites and catalogs are overwhelming and random items are constantly out of stock so I really appreciate that there is someone like him available to help us visualize the space and make the whole ordering experience much smoother.

This has got to be the worst Home Depot that Ive been to. Which makes it with all the other Home depot a bad place to shop. Uneducated employees on the products, Never can find products, products over priced, and the worst is low inventory . This store just happens to be the worst. Went to get 4 items and everytime there was stock in the isles to the point I couldnt get to what I wanted. I had been to 4 Home Depots in the last week to pick up some simple construction screws and the shelves were empty. Time to start going back to local lumber stores and Ace Hardware .

Ordered a tool online and had it delivered to this store at no extra cost. The shipment was placed in an outside locker near the entrance. Very convenient in these times but also works after store hours. When delivered you get a qr code by email or text that opens your locker! Very convenient and techie!

My experience this morning was disappointing. I wanted to find mycorrhizal fungi and checked online to see if they had it in store before I left. Perhaps I dont know how to read the Google information but it seemed to be in the fertilizer section. I looked carefully there without success then tried to find assistance, also without success. I had a terrible experience with an inability to get a price match and Home Depot refusing to accept the return of hardwood packages due to some technicality between Home Depot and HomeDepot.com.I spoke with a customer service representative then they brought in the manager to continue to tell me no and no attempt to help. She then told us to call Home Depot ourselves to ask them if we can get a return which was unbelievable to me because that’s exactly what their job is supposed to be! After one final plea to have them ask HomeDepot.com if we could return the hardwood The manager had one of the customer support representatives give them a call.After the worst customer experience of my life, Jenn saved the day. She offered us water after a really long wait and ended up getting us our full refund despite the manager saying there was 0 chance that would happen. Thank you Jenn you are the reason I left any stars on this review.

I was warned by 2 people not to buy appliances at the Home Depot and have them delivered and installed. Well, wished I would have listened. Worst experience of my life. I paid to have my old dish washer removed and the new one be installed. Well, its been a month now. My old dishwasher is still here and the new one is just sitting in the middle of my kitchen. Home Depot should get out of the delivery service business.

Zipped into the rental shop in the Meridian store at exactly 6:00 (closing time for the rentals) just to ask about availability for some equipment for the next day and then I was going to buy a pile of materials. Rental guy was obviously miffed I would want 30 seconds of his closing time and curtly told me to take a price list and get out. So I got out.There are other places to rent and buy materials. I’ll be hard up before I walk through Home Depot’s door again.

Gone are the days when HD would borderline bother you with being helpful and offering assistance. A couple of weeks ago we waited 45 minutes before someone finally approached us and offered assistance when we were looking at dishwashers. We tried several times to go to the employees to ask for assistance but I swear they would see us approaching and avoid eye contact and walk the other way. Today, on several occasions, we were looking for something specific and would walk right by employees that would avoid eye contact and not offer to help us. Like I said, it seems like back in the day the employees would almost bother you because they were so helpful. Now you practically have to chase one down to reluctantly help you out.

My husband and I were wanting a cultured marble countertop. There was an online ordering app that quoted $850 however, we were in the store and thought lets just order it. When we told the guy what we wanted he said it was a minimum of $1250 whether it could be less or not. He quoted us $1390. We were so confused. We explained the online quote and he said he was unaware of how the online app works but he would knock off $50. We left and found a local store - Custom Marble of Caldwell who installed the same thing for $650!! Thank you Custom Marble and Home Depot, that was an absurd experience.

Just bought an online $3400 riding lawnmower mower with pickup at this Home Depot. So far so good on the mower but it came from the store filthy dirty with a few cigarettes buts under the seat, dead battery, water logged and stinky owners manual, and flat tires. You would think with a high ticket item like that they would have at least given it a cursory glance and wipe down. Maybe next time I’ll try the eagle location.

I went into Home Depot in Meridian to find a hose that would attach my propane heater to my propane tank. I waited for someone to acknowledge me and saw associates literally turn down aisles to avoid helping us. Finally we saw a man in the tool area and my husband approached and asked if he could assist us, he replied No and started pushing buttons on what looked like a phone. He didn’t look up or offer to get someone else for us, just No. we then went to customer service and asked for help and they said they would get someone. About 10 minutes later a young man arrived, he was friendly, but at this point we were frustrated with the lack of service we received, we chose to leave and went to Lowe’s.

I have switched from Lowes to this home depot even though it is farther away from me. Reason being, Lowes head very poor customer service even after complaining to a manager. This home depot has excellent customer service. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a smile. And at least ast 4 times if they can help assist me. I ordered 5 new replacement windows in July of 2020. Only have two windows installed so far because the other three were not the correct size even though they sent a contractor to my house to measure them. I understand a month or two delay because of COVID 19 but almost 8 months of no windows is insane. When I ordered them the consultant said it would be about two to four months in order for them to make the windows. In order to get any updates I have to call my project manager who is Danny Dunn. Danny Dunn is a horrible project manager. I have not once received a call to update me on the progress of my windows or get a reason why they were taking so long to be installed. Every time I have called him for an update he would continually feed me a lie about my project. Whether it was the system was down and they lost my measurement, told me it was milgards fault, told me the system messed up the measurements, or just simply said he would call me back the next day and to let me know and I would end up having to call him back to be told again he doesn’t know. Customer service has been terrible from the start

New to this Home Depot over the past several months (Meridian). Have always had a great experience with the tool rental staff. Bill did a great job on my last rental. They are helpful with job tips as I do things for the first time and probably never will again (nailer and miter saw for base boards in the whole house was the last one).
