I’ve been bringing my Subaru wrx to them whenever I need something done. I trust them with my car over every single shop in the treasure valley. Every time I walk in they remember me and make me feel at home. They specialize in Japanese cars but I swear they can fix just about anything. They also make sure you’re taken care of and don’t screw you over like some places. They respectively answer any questions and are very thorough when explaining your car. They provide great oil (I only get my oil from them now) and are very fair on prices. I appreciate this shop and will continue to support their local business forever and recommend them whenever I have a chance. You guys are phenomenal!!

Came in needing to replace an oil control valve, made it pretty clear.They insisted I had my vehicle diagnosed.They charged me close to $200 in supposed labor for the diagnosis even though they didnt solve any issue and only explained that I needed the parts, and I already knew that since I already had the part! Wouldnt install because not OEM. Just cleared the check engine code, no problem was solved in an hour and a half of labor...Very unprofessional and wildly expensive.If you have thousands of dollars to blow on your car I guess come here but its not for me. I ended up getting the valve cover gaskets and ocv replaced at $150 labor which is what this place charged me for doing NOTHING.

Never got back to me or even answered my 20 calls that I have made to see if they can tune my car after I get my swap done on a 95 accord with a f23a swap or f20b swap. With obd1 p28 chipped ecu

This place is special, I have been coming to Bk now for about 4 years. I’m on my 3rd Subaru now and feel extremely lucky to have Brian and his crew here to take care of me. Brian and his crew are amazing. I recently purchased a Type R and wanted to get a new wheel and tire setup. I had never purchased wheels or tires before. Brian helped me every step of the way. Educating me on the specs, makes, models and fitment of the wheels and tires. I not only ended up with an absolutely beautiful new set for the car but learned alot throughout the process. Brian and his shop exude JDM quality in not only their products but their customer service as well. I really cant say enough good things about my whole experience. Just had my clutch and a ton of other maintenance done on my WRX. and I can honestly say Ive never had such a great experience with a shop. EVERY employee was well informed and the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful and educated on products and how things worked on the car and how it would all come together. Great performance shop with amazing staff

Lowered my vehicle on coilovers. Quick and easy. Even recommended someone whos experienced with aligning lowered vehicles.

Told my brother on multiple accessions they were starting to work on the engine and never did. Took them 6 months to get the motor broke down just so they could take another three months to not do anything so we ended up taking the car back with the engine in the trunk thank you for the great service 😂😂 never recommending this place. Im so glad I found BK Industries. The turbo on my subaru blew and took pretty much everything with it. Brian and the team did a new build for me and I couldnt be happier. I learned a ton along the way and I now wouldnt take my car anywhere else.

Went in to get some knowledge and suggestions for my car. They basically drove me away. The guy at the front said he would do some reasearch call and call me back or point me in the right direction. Never got a call. Had better luck from the general mechanic shop down the street.

Went in to have my 94 Del Sol looked at, and they found alot! They even brought me in to show me what they found and went through everything with me, personally, and had a lot of recommendations! They werent pushy by ANY means, and were very friendly. We even had a good laugh because we found a pair of earplugs on one of my axles, which was pretty random... I was pretty nervous going into a shop because of my string of bad experiences but this place is amazing! I wont take my car anywhere else!

You wont find a better crew in the area for daily drivers and high performance hot rods foreign and domestic. They have an awd drive dyno, and the ability to tune for higher octane tunes with the products they carry and sell. Honest, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable on all makes and models.

Wanted to learn a little bit about my car as well as get advice from PROFESSIONALS, they deliver hihi high quality work for a fair price and will give you advice on anything you need to know. Took my 2006 STI in for an inspection and they gave me all the info I needed as well as advice for preventive maintenance. Would highly recommend to anyone and I will. WILL RETURN!

Original review 2018: I will never take my WRX anywhere else. Their attention to detail is immaculate and they outlined things that could go wrong before and after the tunes/install. If you have a JDM car, do not take it anywhere else.Update 2 Years later: I still stand by every word that I originally said. I took my car in for what we thought was a throwout bearing but it turns out the pressure plate on theclutch was failing. They walked me through what the repair would look like, the things they were going to do to prevent the same failure again, and outlined what I should do until I was able to get it fixed. They truly are masters of JDM and there is no one else in the area that can do it like them. Brian and his team are the real MVPs. Shawn (sorry if I misspelled it) was the one that explained everything, could not thank him enough!

Id heard of these guys but did not know they were located in meridian. Which is a shame because i couldnt have asked for better customer service. After searching high and low for a coupler for my intercooler piping I found myself here. I was desperate because i was driving with a giant leak in my intake system. Unfortunately they didnt have anything behind the counter. However a man whom I believe to be the owner personally went back to try to find me something used to get me back on the road. Was my only option other than parking the car tull I could order something. Cant thank you guys enough and its service like that which creates loyal customers and Ill be a customer for like after today.

I had been wanting to get a protune on my wrx for a while, and had decided to go with BK and man am I glad I did! From my first call to them and going in to talk to them, to now, Brian, Jeff, Will, & Shawn have been nothing but helpful and great to work with and super knowledgeable. They informed me of the entire process, what needs to be done before doing the tune, etc. So after a fresh oil change, I went in and they threw it on the dynapack dyno, and right away Jeff noticed some significant knock with the ots stage 2 tune(I have a Cobb accessport). Did I mention these guys are a Cobb-certified Protuner shop? The day wasnt without its challenges, it was over 100 degrees that day, but Jeff managed to get rid of the knock, I was amazed, not a single bit of knock all the way to redline! I took the car back a couple weeks later when it was much cooler, they worked around my schedule and even came to my work to pick my car up, finished the protune, and picked me up after work with my car. Jeff did an amazing job with the car. From tuning alone, I gained over 20hp and over 30ft/lbs of tq! But they also offer whats called a boostane tune, its octane booster you can buy from them, and mix it to make all the way up to 110octane gas. I had them do an additional tune for 95 octane, and that picked up another 11hp and 13tq! And if I happen to see any issues with the tune at all, they encouraged me to keep in touch and let me know, so they can make any tweaks necessary to make it the way I like it. Their costs are super reasonable for a tune, and the subsequent tweaks to it are included in the cost. They have the lowest labor rate in town as well, and the quality of the work is top notch.I also previously had them do the timing belt replacement on my old sti, and they price-matched and beat the best prices I could find in town. And as stated in other reviews, they dont cut corners, if it needed replaced it got replaced, but with good reason, they dont go replacing parts just to make money. I didnt want a bunch of new parts and have one little part break shortly after and cause damage to the stuff I just had them replace. Preventive maintenance is key. I will be taking my car back to them for anything I need whether I need something fixed or when I decide I need some more power, I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to get that extra power out of your car, or just need to keep it running strong for a long time.

Called BK Industries to see if they would be able to tune my 03 PT Cruiser GT, because the engine was bogging during acceleration. (I thought the air-fuel ratio was off) Was given a couple bits of advice, including cleaning the MAF sensor, the representative I spoke with Mark, was very informative and polite. I was told he would put in a request to have someone who may have more information as to what the problem could be call me later. After I got off the phone I pulled off the MAF sensor, (actually a MAP sensor for my vehicle, but basically the same thing) realized it was not possible to clean, so ran to auto zone and got a new one, popped it in, and voila-the bogging was gone. I was prepared to spend hundreds of dollars on repairs/tune up, but thanks to the advice I was given it only costed me about 15 minutes of my time and a $17 replacement part. A couple hours later I received the phone call from another representative, but by then the problem was already fixed. I was just calling them to see if it was possible for them to tune my non-japanese vehicle. Im so glad I called! Wonderful customer service. Thank you!
