Nice stop in between the drive to Yosemite. Fresh fruits cheap price and cute backyard to take a break. The kids love the animals in the back. We bought a lot of fruits and ate them for lunch. Their dry fruits are so delicious wish we bought more!

When I was in seventh grade our school took all of my grade to Yosemite, and we stopped here. I remember the friendly orange cat the greeted us, the screeching birds, and the beautiful shop we all wanted to buy from, but our teachers said no, and all the animals outside! Even sleeping baby bunnies. We sat at the tables outside and ate our lunch. We even got to come back on our way home from our trip! Its been years but Ive always wanted to come back. Took me forever to track it down haha.

Who knew this place was here. I didnt have enough time to browse and shop so I will definitely be going back and shop and look slowly and thoroughly. Not just a fruit stand, however they do sell alot of different fruit, it is also like a huge gift shop. Lots of nice, cute gift items. Will be going back soon. If you are in the area, recommend you stop and check it out.

Stopped by after our previous destination was too busy. Best spontaneous stop possible. The birds in the front were so sweet, playing with and talking to us. The store had plenty of Beautiful items. The cafe smelled amazing but sadly we ate before stopping by, maybe next time on that one. All of the animals in the back were so sweet and feeding them was a blast. Well spent visit and would love to return in the future.

If youre looking for something to do in Merced this is a really cool and fun place! There are many talking birds a very sweet cat and a petting zoo in the back! They also have a deli and coffee shop as well special snacks for sale inside.

Cute store with a good variety of products. They have a small barn next to the shop, and multiple cute birds.

What a fun pit stop on our drive to the mountains! We were surprised (and delighted) to find that they have several parrots and parakeets in front of the store and a whole picnic area with petting zoo out back complete with emus, peacocks, a pig and more. We picked up two of their frozen pies for Easter and they were delicious. And bonus, the bathrooms were super clean!

Clean, fresh, happy place with delicious sandwiches prepared at order with the item that you like. Great service for those nice and polite girls. A must to stop for some fresh coffee, fruit or dry fruits. They got in the back a nice garden with tables under big trees

Nice family fun, freshly squeezed orange juice, gift shop, fresh produce, and nuts, kids can see different birds like Parrott, etc., most farm animals like hen, turkey, pig, cow, emu, llama, peacock, etc. Ample parking space, sandwiches, cafe, outside benches. One can see actual almonds, walnut, navel, orange, cherry, etc. Trees.

Nice stop outside Merced for fresh fruits, juices, dried fruits and candy. Also a walk among the farm animals. A unique shop filled with knick-knacks.

A nice place to stop and grab a snack, check out and find some gifts. My grandson loves seeing the Animals they have Parrots 🦜, chickens, turkeys, ducks, emu, llama, goats, a cow and donkey. Lots of shaded outdoor seating, nice indoor seating and clean well maintained restrooms.

Great place for younger kids to visit. Alot of animals to see. Dont know how great the sandwiches might be, nor the ice cream. But there are lots of goodies to buy.

The talking birds outside were a joy for our granddaughter. The nick naks in the store were too many to look at for grandma and I couldnt make up my mind on what kind of jelly I wanted.

Lovely place .came across this by luck. They have talking macaus and a few exotic animals. The store is well kept and the sandwiches are as fresh as they can get. Stopping here turned out to be super refreshing.

Me and my fiance love going to this place. We have many memories shared with Mr. P as well as the other exotic birds and animals at the Merced Fruit Barn. The honey is always sweet and the atmosphere is always nice!

I’ve driven by the Merced Fruit Barn for decades and finally stopped in. it’s a very nice place, i had no idea it had a back area loaded with benches, trees and plenty of shade. they have adult beverages and a deli..the fruit is so amazing ..stop in and enjoy..stretch..yawn and enjoy

A lovely place to break your journey. Lovely coffee & ice cream and delicious products in the shop. Seeing the animals in the barnyard was a real bonus.

My 1st time visiting the Fruit Barn. I was amazed at all the cute things they have inside. Totally not what I thought it was going to be. The best part was their parrots they have. Must go and visit them if you havent all ready.

Cute little place. Friendly staff. We go during the day when its nice and quiet. Its very calming for my 6 month old and 4 year old.

Great stop for the family on the way in to Yosemite off highway 140. They have a petting area with Dolly Llama. Some turkeys a pig and a cow. They also rescue birds and have macaws. Simone like to wave to everyone visiting.There are plenty of restrooms to use and very clean!Dont forget to grab a sandwich or some snacks for the road trip. They have lots of nuts and fruits to choose from.

The Fruit Barn is a wonderful roadside store that offers a variety of gifts along with a nice delicatessen if you are ready for lunch or a snack. They provide the shopper and traveler fruit, dried fruit, and nuts separately or in gift baskets seasonally. When traveling along East Highway 140 you need to stop in.

The place is okay they have a lot of selections stop them nice and clean they do have like a little sandwich shop and coffee shop and I like to get the a espresso going on

I love this place there theres so many things to see and buy I get my honey there I go pet the animals and they have a picnic in the back and also theres a little Deli in the inside wonderful sandwiches clientele is so sweet and nice you can meet all kinds of people there when its busy nice place to take your kids are your parents or friends its open to anyone come see for yourself its beautiful out there.

It reminds me of a smaller Casa de Fruta. Fresh produce, lots of nice gift shop items, local products, a nice deli. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating if yr stopping with a bus or crowd. You can walk around outside to see some animals, shady picnic tables. We will stop again when we pass through.

They have huge birds in cages, and the birds looked very very sad.Also, most of their products are in single use plastics that cannot be recycled and do not biodegrade.I feel so sorry for the macaw, he was cowering in corner of his cage with head bent in sorrow.

It is so disgusting how this people here hold those beautiful birds in extremely tiny cages....
