Great ambience to hangout or do work in Merced. Very friendly staff and had Capaccino and was really good creamy coffee.

I am a huge fan of the coffee bandits. The coffee is great and they also have really solid bakery which I did not expect. I always the peanut bars and they really taste great. It is also nice, quiet place to sit down and just relax for a moment before all the daily trouble. I definitely recommend this place for morning coffee!!

Coffee Bandits reminds me of my favorite cafe from college. Its casual and yet you can also meet business associates there. I like that all syrups are made fresh and there are several vegan options. I love the vegan peanut butter bars. My husband likes the peanut butter-chocolate blendito.

Sweet spot

Came in on 11/06/2019 around 10-11AM. The barista was rude. Yes, I understand that we took our time while choosing our drinks but there was no line. No one else was waiting to order so it wouldve been nice if he was more patient. He was reluctant to answer questions about the menu and only seemed to be somewhat polite when we tipped him even though he did not deserve a tip.

Relaxed vibe here. I Had a cherry rose green tea, iced, and it is refreshing. The owner is friendly and lets local artist show their art. Win win!

The place is extremely cute and theres a lot of great artwork and effort going on. Im sure its a wonderful place to study. Unfortunately the coffee is just not very good.

Just visited for the first time and I loved it! They have tons of flexible coffee options and a ton of cute products made by people in the community. Ill definitely be coming back.

Once this place opened a few years ago I switched from Starbucks to coffee bandits. I love the relaxed style and supporting a local business. There coffee isn’t as acidic as Starbucks and they have tons of flavors. There vanilla is home made and they have Irish cream! They have stamp cards for a free one and as a student is was a nice place to study away from home. They have board games for a social gathering. My critique is the seating wasn’t always comfortable but that never kept me away!

This is a great place to meet with friends or study in groups if you dont mind the busy environment. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of seating but if youre planning on going there to get work done be prepared to fight for an outlet. Overall, good vibes.

Get the chicken salad sandwich that comes on toasted ciabatta bread with an iced coffee. You will be very happy;) Super chill atmosphere. Great flavors. Outdoor seating. Local art on the walls;) Also do pretty tasty deserts;) Always nice staff too.

Good coffee, fairly uncomfortable seating, and an absolutely disgusting healthy snack disguised as a delicious looking $3 cookie. Seriously, I just wanted an actual cookie. It doesnt have to be healthy. Im not looking for healthy when I want a cookie. I just want an actual cookie, not your damn hippy shenanigans.

Cool place with great options, I love the hot chocolate and their banana bread. Their whipped cream its the best one I have ever had.

I would recommend this place for students who are just doing homework. It was a bit difficult for me to understand some things about this cafe place in terms of what exactly to do about how to put away drinks and stuff. I got the hang of it after a couple of visits. My only problem with this place is the bathroom. There is only one and you need to have a key. I understand there is a reason for this type of system to be implimented but I see customers get flustered when others take too long and it makes the environment a bit tense. I assume this happens at other places that have this system but I personally dont prefer it. In conclusion, if you want a good place to study and chat with friends, this is a good spot to go to.

Great menu, cozy atmosphere, and loads of events, but Ive got to say Im most impressed by how if you order something to stay, they give you proper drinkware (not disposable). I love knowing my coffee habit wont create needless waste.

Its a decent place to get coffee. However I dont feel it is very clean. Every time I go in for coffee, my nose/sinuses start acting up. It has a musty smell inside and the whole ceiling is left wide open...I like it for their variety of coffee/latte flavors and teas.I feel they should work on the cleanliness better and seriously need a renovation inside

I was in Merced for a few weeks and Coffee Bandits instantly became my favorite place. The drip coffee was surprisingly robust with complex flavors. The vibe was delightful.

What a awesome funky vibe. Was very surprised at how the place looked. I was downtown just window shopping. Wanted a local coffeeshop . Something unique and not some expensive chain. Was very surprised how clean and inviting this place was.. The cashier was very polite and helpful explained a few Questions. After her great explanation. I made my choice. Well the coffee was awesome Took me back to my Coffee plantation in Gautamala. So now got a great place to relax and people watch or read

Coffee Bandits is a great local alternative to Star Bucks. Where as most Star Bucks are get it and go, Coffee Bandits is a place where you can really absorb the community. The interior is laced with local artists work and they play local music as well as host events like poetry nights and participate in the local Merced Arthop by showcasing artists to play live music. Theres a nice seating area outside with plants surrounding. This is a great place with a wonderful atmosphere.
