I was looking everywhere for an auto tinting for my husband’s new 2020 truck for his front windows. Nobody would take me without an appointment and he needed it for a special occasion as we traveled the following weekend. Tasha Clark took my call and booked me for next day. Kevin was awesome. He squeezed me to get my radio installed before I had to leave for a out of state family members funeral. He took the time to show me how to work all the features that came with the pioneer radio.

We were greeted right when we walked in the store. Moe, our sales associate took the time to help us find what we were looking for. He gave us several different options but never pressured us into anything. Customer service goes a long way because we left the store to look at different options else where but we ended coming back that same day. This was my first time shopping for rims and the 901 sounds made it an easy and memorable experience.

Not knowledgeable of how long or giving a estimated time is not when it’s gone be ready. Why book so many cars in a day over booked and workers can’t keep up with the paste to get cars out at a timely manner. Lady at desk is very unprofessional and knows none about totes. FYI TO CHANGE RIMS ONLY TAKES A HOUR TOPS. If your shop is equipped with right tools. But it will be a problem if workers aren’t presenting better work ethic to get the job done by moving efficiently to get job done.

Tasha customer service was great. She explained everything to me. They acknowledged me as soon as I walked in the store. I was told the price and how long the wait would be up front ( no hidden or surprised fees). Tint looks great. I would recommend for your car enhancement needs. Also shout out to the tint tech Tony he was also good at explaining the tint, difference in the shades, and the the amount of light it would block. Overall good experience 👍

Looks better than what it is communication is the poorest ive ever seen I came in for one service to be performed I sat in a waiting room from 9-2 i pretty much wasted my day this is a management issue.Eithier they are too scared to hire or they dont care about their customer which is typical nowadays however the business looks to be on the level but in there somewhere is a lie. To think i was gonna let them do a few things for me makes me sick......Again drop off your vehicle and maybe it will be 5 stars lol

Dont take your vehicle to this place. They will rip you off. They destroyed my husbands custom tires and had the nerve to say he brought them in like that. The owner kept giving us the run around. We should sue.

One of the most unprofessional places I’ve seen. Called about some wheels. Was told two sets to fit my vehicle were in stock and they would send pictures since I was going to drive from Nashville. Specifically told the lady I was not interested in ordering wheels due to a previous bad experience elsewhere. Three hours later they send two pictures, one set which I was interested in. I call about them to let them know I was going to make the trip. Luckily I did because I was then told no, they don’t have ANYTHING in stock. Why waste my time and run me in circles when I can easily order something online myself?

Well this was the second time ever coming to this store I should have known better from how bad the first attempt was a few years ago but you think some things change but apparently not....I was told over the phone I could come in on a Saturday and have a radio installation done but Id have to be there really early so I get there at 8:45 go in at 9 only to be told they dont do radio installation on the weekends then they also go to tell me its by the hour $65 an hour which they never said anything on the phone they told me it would be $150 to change out the radio cause I already had a aftermarket radio in the car and now trying to tell me its going to be like $185+ tax nope never again will I walk into this business again

Horrible customer service and wait time. They constantly give you the run-around about when your vehicle will be ready. I waited months for my car to receive headlights.

So I decided I was going to put a car stereo face in my car to make it look better. I did what anyone has done and looked at reviews of the best places to take my car. This place was on top and the reviews looked decent. I took my car and looked for a good car stereo. The first thing I noticed are all of the stereos are high in cost. 400.00 and up. I was charged for parts and labor and it came to over 700.00 for everything. I brought my car a week later and an hour later they told me a part didn’t come in and they had to push me to the next day. I was instantly upset. Later on that day they told me I would have to pay an extra 100.00 because of a kit to have my steering wheel controls work. And then the next day it wasn’t done until closing time. I will not take my business here again.

My tint job is absolutely amazing!! The price was reasonable and Tasha is the bomb!! The reason for the 4 stats only is i priced 2 radar detectors for my vehicles and they cost $350 each which is extremely reasonable. However they tried to charge $350 per radar detector for installation and that is an absolute not!! They lost that business but my tint is gorgeous!

There are other places in Memphis to get car accessories from but when it comes to the level of service you get from Eric and the team at 901 Sounds, this is the ONLY place you need to go. We tried other places and the employees were rude, didnt want to help with our questions and pretty much made us feel like it wasnt worth their time to help us. 901 Sounds recognized that my son was excited to make his car into something cool and unique and they were happy to help. I dont know a whole lot about cars but I know about customer service and its value. Trust me, dont waste your time calling somewhere else, go see 901 Sounds!

All of our car tints have been done by 901 sounds (along with some other jobs done on some of the cars). I’ve had my old car since 2006, and the tint on that car still looks brand new! Definitely would recommend them! They treat everyone like family! :)

I would give this place a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for how I was treated last night when I dropped my car off. I am a returning customer who loved what they did with my suv a couple of years ago. I had tint and a radio system installed. I recently purchased a new car and decided to go with them in installing a navigation system along with tinting my windows. The person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and personable (later found out the sales person was Eric). When I arrived no one asked if they could help me and I forgot who I was speaking to on the phone due to me being at work and trying to make the arrangements for my vehicle and I missed the sales person name. I approached the the front of the store and whoever it was that I was speaking with was rude. I almost wanted to turn around and leave and say forget it and find a different shop to do the work. The interaction between him and I were totally off and if I did not know the good work that comes from this place I would have left. I don’t believe in spending money where someone feels that providing good customer service is not an option. A little disappointed and dissatisfied with the service this time around.

They do NOT stand behind their word... had to go though bank and try to get my money refund back and they is really trying to take 2000.00 from me bc they want provide all necessary receipts. Lost a returning costumer today due to having an attitude on the phone. I’ve had good work from them in the past but that is quite off-putting. I was ready to bring my vehicle in but they lost my business with their rudeness. Looking back at other reviews now, you guys seriously need to get a front desk staff that is eager and optimistic to gain sales. Times are too rough to be rude and abrupt to customers. Not that you should be any time. I hope you guys serve future customer’s better.

I showed up 20 minutes before they opened to buy some hub centric rings, after I was told that I had to bring in my wheel and wheel. I decided to give them the opportunity to mount and balance my wheels and was told 1.5 to 2 hour wait. After sitting there for 2 hours I just decided to walk around outside and my car hadn’t even been pulled in yet. I was the first person and was early. When I came to ask Kevin a simple question and even implied that I was not trying to be difficult. He replied that I am before even asking a question. They finally sold me what I initially came in for after, mine you without measuring my wheel or checking my vehicle which I was told had to be done, wasting 2 hours of my time. And Kevin acted like he really didn’t give a care. I’m not someone who is out spending tax money. I have a career, a wife that had to go to work this morning, and a newborn. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Being a vice president of a company I am time after time blown away at how they run this shop. I would say I am very hard to please. They just worked on a few of my toys and the last one was a boat. My expectations were totally blown away. Take it from me just go up there and talk to them youll know right away there over capable at whatever you throw at them. A+ thanks moe!

Do not waste your time or money coming here. They’re so unprofessional and SLOW! You’d be better off going elsewhere to get your car accessorized. The woman up front has a funky attitude and they don’t know how to communicate with you WHATSOEVER. It took them two weeks to “finish” our car. The day the car was suppose to be ready....It still wasn’t ready! We had to come back and they told us it was going to be 4 hours. We’ve been here since 9:20am it’s currently 12:50pm and they JUST brought our car to the back around 12pm. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional. I’m not expecting for the job to be done within an hour. HOWEVER, it shouldn’t take all got damn day to install UNDERGLOW on a damn car.

It is my go to place for window tint. They have done work for me before on another vehicle I have and so I bought another one and decided to use them again. They do great work and Ive never had or heard a complaint.

Took all day to install equipment incorrectly. Then took the next day to do it wrong again then blow the sub. Their fault and they tell us to check for a warranty on the sub. They do NOT care. They laughed about it. They got their money for the install and are not covering the damage they created.

This establishment has the best atmosphere! Everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful with all of my team’s questions. Additionally, they executed my vision for my vehicle to the fullest!

They are just too expensive and over priced on everything. Not the place to go if youre paying cash. Service is all day. Do your research and price check. Because I promise if you do that you wont deal with them. Hupcap Annies layaway plan is the best thing in Memphis. But they are polite and professional... Ill give em that. But I wont be back. I was going to get my windows tinted but they had for people booked before me.They wanted me to drop my car off but I didnt see the need to do that and come back up to pick it up so I went elsewhere.Had they just rescheduled an appointment where I could wait until the job was done then I would have given them my time and money. I cant comment truly on the quality as of yet as its a new tint job 06/23/12 but from the looks of it Id say the quality of the work is good! Im here to comment more so about the horrid service from this place.First...DO NOT....DO NOT take the word of the salesman period in regards to the estimated wait time or what position you are in line. IF you are going to deal with these guys then do appointment only (even then I dont know how well things will go for you)!I can only speak about their tint service and not their audio/video installation services. Unfortunately I didnt find out til the end of the day that they only had ONE tint specialist working all the cars that came in today (WTF???)!The problem I have is that I was informed first over the phone that my wait time would be two hours...when I got to the shop I again was informed that I only had one car ahead of me so the time would be two hours.Somehow between then and coming back I was told that there was yet another car ahead of me. Then it became, sorry man we are backed up bad today! In the end the TRUTH was I was the LAST car to be done for that day getting me out of there at 8pm when I dropped my car off to them at 3PMI understand needing to make sales....badly lying to make that sale...shame on you. There WONT be a second time (shame on me) Ill take my money elsewhere! First impressions are a lasting one. Customer service here is poor; I suggest finding some better PROFESSIONALS to get you going probably for all your car needs!

I am truly delighted to scribble down few words of my experience with 901 Sounds since there is a way to do it since my last visit. I am a repeated customer of Kevin and team not twice, thrice but over 10 times during. The past 3 years! My repeated visits were not to resolve any problem but always for anew job with my fleet of vehicles. Why I go only to 901 Sounds?Answer is very simple. They are the best in Memphis. They are beat in quality of work, pricing, treating you with respect and dignity, customer service, standing behind every piece of work and the friendship they build with every customer is phenomenal. Got an alarm from another place that closed. Took my truck to them to see what they could do. They not only fixed the alarm but replaced the ignition switch to ensure proper working. All for a reasonable price. Ill be returning to them from now on.

I wanted a refund and they decided to throw in a restocking fee.. i paid $800 for a sound system and when i wanted a refund on my money (same day i paid for if, a day before installing) they added a 35% discount fee($280).. they pretty much charged me $280 just to get a $570 refund when i paid $800 🤦🏻‍♂️ .. dont recommend this place at all

I received awesome customer service from Mr.Moe. I went in knowing nothing about tint, all I knew was that I wanted some tint because the sun was killing my leather seats and my air was not working properly.. Mr.Moe explained everything to me he showed me the legal tint and the ones that could get you in trouble with police LOL! He also explained their leasing program to me and got a mechanic to look at my air.. My car is currently in the shop and he has communicated with me about everything! I did not get a feeling that they were after money or trying to get over! Moe has been extremely helpful. I appreciate it and I would recommend anyone to 901 sound! Sometimes service is more important than price. Especially service after the sale. Anyone can sell you an item, I personally like doing business with 901 because they stand behind the products after the sale. Try service after sale at a big box store and theyll just show you the door. So if you like being treated well after youve put your money down, shop at 901 Sounds. Tricks and gimmicks are easily found with many clowns touting price elsewhere in Memphis.
