We stopped here last month looking for a new bedroom suite. Larry Borodkin helped us and was very courteous. He didnt try to force anything on us and there was no pressure. We looked around the store and finally decided to check out some other stores. We ended up coming back here to purchase our new bedroom set. We were told it would take at least a month for our new furniture to arrive. We ended up getting the furniture delivered within 2 weeks which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, the customer service was great. The furniture selection is much better compared to to other stores that we visited in the area. We purchased a bed, end table, and dresser and we are happy with our decision.
Stopped by this particular location primarily because a friend recommended. I have bought over $15,000 with American home store in the last 6 months. My sales person Sam was great. Delivery wasn’t too far out. Delivery day was messed up. They delivered half of my bed them had to go get the other half. I had to pressure them to ensure delivery on same day because my old bed had been sold & we would not have a full bed to sleep on (mattress & base). My next delivery set of my bedroom suite was good. No problems. Now my newest item a $2,700 purchase that I been calling them complaining it is right- they sent someone to take pictures & reorder something for it. Well it came today & still isn’t right. I asked for a store credit they said that’s not an option. Really for those spending money at your business & return with more. If they don’t make this right. Im never shopping with them again & I don’t advise others too. Customer service is pleasing & a few of the drivers bluntly asked for tips-wow!

The sales associate was amazing. We came in with what we wanted but after getting the chance to roam the store at our own pace found something that worked even better then the one we found online.The associate checked us out and the warehouse muscle had the item pulled before we drove around to the pick up area.Great experience

We have bought lots of furniture from here but we won’t buy anymore. They sell you the so called great warranty and Trey who is over warranty dept has given Chrissi the run around since December. We’ve contacted the warranty company directly and they won’t even return her call. They came out and looked at it several months back and said the couch would be replaced and we’re in July and still nothing. Wasted $500 but it’s ok I promise I will tell everyone to stay away from this place.
My mother and I placed an order in November. I was told the order would be delivered after thanksgiving. I was then told December, January, and then February. Each month I’ve been waiting, not once has a single employee called us when the dates were pushed back. I’ve had to call every single time to figure out what’s going on. It’s now March, and still no call. The salesman that placed our order, hasn’t even cared to update us throughout this entire process. We’ve been nothing but patient and kind customers. We’ve spent a good amount of money here and definitely won’t return after this.This is absolutely ridiculous.

I think I was his last customer in 2019 and this was my last purchase of the year. Fast & painless he was very easy to talk to. I suggest asking for him if you need assistance.
Great selection, fair pricing, with excellent customer service!! Our salesman, Andrew, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very patient with us! We bought a couch, loveseat and recliner set, along with two nightstands. We were able to get our loveseat, recliner and nightstands delivered in a few days; however, our couch was on back order which we knew at the time of purchase. After the delivery, we realized the nightstands we’d purchased were too large for where we needed them and would need to return them. I called the store and they said it was no problem!! They said they could pick the nightstands up when they delivered our couch at no charge and give us a full refund for them!! We received our couch, they picked up the nightstands and refunded our money for them without any hassle!!! Their customer service representatives were wonderfully helpful and efficient, and did exactly as they promised!! The delivery people were also polite, considerate, friendly and on time!!! The Great American Home Store is truly GREAT!!!

The salesperson followed us around the store and wouldnt leave us alone even after we said we were good multiple times. If I wanted to be followed around I wouldve brought my children with me.

Very disappointed. Was told my couches would be delivered during the DAY and then I get a call with my scheduled delivery time being between 6-9 PM. I have very young children who go to bed at 7 and I would have scheduled a different day had I know they were coming at night. I also reached out to have my delivery fee refunded and the person I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude. I recommend if you do business with them to not expect your furniture when they say they will deliver it and do NOT expect good customer service.
I dont want to come to the shop to buy furniture, Thanksgiving Day with my husband and I bought a sofa and table, service personnel said December delivery to our table, sofa will have to wait until February, although have to wait a long time, but we still agreed, but now a piece of furniture is not sent to my home, I called in a few days ago asked and tell I need to wait until April furniture will be sent to my home, my dear! Who can wait five and a half months to buy a piece of furniture? I can think about buying it somewhere else!

Quality furnishings. Great staff (Sam Laney, Phillip Armstrong), left us alone and let us shop, stood ready to answer questions and very knowledgeable about their inventory and manufacturers.
The couch we got from here is awful. It didnt last a year before the cushions became as flat as pancakes.
Angie helped us match a recliner to a couch set we already had. She spent a couple hours texting me pictures back and forth with plenty of options. We finally were able to come to the showroom to see it person. She was such a great saleswoman, never made us feel pressured! We love our new recliner and ottoman. Thanks Angie for all your help!
One of the worst buying experiences of my life. We bought two couches and agreed that they would be delivered and our old couch removed. After sale was completed, they informed us they could not not take away the old couch because of covid policy. Whatever, but they said they could put it out on the front porch when delivering the new ones. Delivery guys arrive and immediately walk in to our home asking about a tip before they lift a finger (I believe in tipping good service, but I’ve never had someone request one up front). Then, they proceed to be unable to get our sectional apart to move it at all. They end up only moving the new couches in, but don’t help to move old couch at all. Final cherry on top was that the new couches also did not come with battery packs, which the salesman was told we would also need. Instead of helping when we called to discuss these issues, they’ve simply sided with the delivery men and claim that we never mentioned battery packs. Needless to say we will never do business with this company again.
Dena Pratt was my sales-person.She listened to what I was looking for and gave many options as to what type of sofa was required. After searching several stores, this was the last stop. The daughter loves it. The delivery was quick and set up was not 10 minutes. Ms Pratt made this decision painless. We will never use The Great American Home Store again! Ordered furniture in September finally received all pieces in December and the drawers on nightstands dont open and footboard was splintered said theyd send replacement in Jan. STILL have not received furniture!!!!!

Loose 3 stars for the high pressure sales force that I believe goes with dreaded furniture shopping. As soon as you step foot in the building they come at you full force. 2 stars because they had what I wanted and they had it available same day.

They have nice looking furniture to buy.
Place is visible from the freeway but can be confusing to get to. Its clean, beautiful. The agents are quick to help. Place is well appointed, but a little costly. Purchased a leather 3 seater reclining end to end sofa w/tax was $1200. No delivery. So to save some $, we picked it up, still covered in plastic, but the levers to recline both ends doesnt work properly when I tried it at home. Now I have to return it back which is not an easy feat.
I love this store. There is no other place I would go. They have the best furniture and best customer service available. They are not pushy and they let you shop with ease. They are very helpful as well.

Great experience, delivery was fast (I had my mattress in two days and could have had it next day if I wanted it) and the delivery itself was done in less than 5 minutes. Delivery team was careful and friendly. My mattress is amazing!
I purchased leather furniture set including a sofa, loveseat and chair from The Great American Home Store 2015. The total cost was around $8,000.00. After about 3 years, the leather started to peel. I reach out to the store letting them know warranty had expired, but this quality of leather should not be peeling after only 3 years. It took about 1 ½ for them to agree to fix and repair the furniture. I was looking at the furniture this week and it is peeling again. It is sad when you put this much money in leather furniture and it is not good quality after only 5 years. I do not want to go through the hassle of reaching out and going through what I had to deal with the last time. I will never purchase anything else from this store. I am very displeased and disappointed with the lasting of this quality of leather.

The store is big, clean, and laid out nicely with quality furniture.However, i purchased my furniture *two months ago* and i am still waiting for the majority of it to be available for pick up/delivery. The estimated dates of availability are for a month from now but i continuously get emails with new (later) ETAs.When i purchased i was informed that i would have to wait about a month for my furniture, so this is super excessive and disappointing. Most likely will not purchase from here again and would not recommend unless youre okay with waiting months for your furniture.
My family and I had came in last week to look for some new bedroom furniture. Great selection and very nice quality. But I was not thralled at all about how the saleswoman kept horded myself and my family during our visit. It was very unprofessional, and made an uncomfortable environment for myself and my family. After reading several reviews it appears that this behavior is a trend at this location. The woman I spoke to was very dishonest. Sales ad stated one price, yet I was told another. When I asked about details on an item the woman read off the display tag on the furniture. Thank you but I can read. Youre treated like a number here, not a valued patron. Theres a lot of furniture stores around here. Better off dealing with a business that will respect its customers, not make them feel rushed and awkward.
I bought my bedroom furniture from them a few years ago and returned to find bar stools for my remodeled kitchen. The sales associate -Tony made a suggestion that I went with. I have been pleased with the service and selection every time.
Do not..I repeat..Do not buy the warranty..If you want a warranty go buy from Ashley’s their warranty is hassle free they don’t do patch jobs on your furniture and they care about their customers I know this by how Ashley’s treated my sister-n-law on her furniture by just replacing it instead of doing a patch job and now my furniture will look like I got it at at a yard sale.. I love my furniture but as far as buying the extended warranty it is a big hassle to make a claim..We have sent them a fax, email, went to their secured web site and still they are saying they did not receive it or they got part of it but not the most important part..So if you want to get the run around buy the warranty..Never again will I buy from this company and the sad part is I paid 3,200.00 for my furniture and a 5yr warranty..To add to this they finally are saying they got my claim papers after sending them two more time but it’s been over the 30 day period so my Recliner will not be cover, the chase lounge is not covered and the middle section they are going repair it but will not promise that it will match..I’m fit to be tided..It’s time to get the BBB involved I hate to do this but this is just wrong all the way around..😡
A little over a year ago, we bought a couple of power recliners at The Great American Home Store. We were assisted but not badgered by Scot Lancaster, one of their sales reps. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.Recently, one of the controls was malfunctioning and I went back to order a replacement. When it had come in and I picked it up, I was told that there was no charge for it, even though the warranty had expired a few months ago. What a nice surprise and what a great way to keep your customers happy!All around, The Great American Home Store not only provided a great shopping experience, but also excellent customer service. We couldn’t be happier!
This is my first time shopping for furniture. After going to 8-10 stores, I went to Great American and was greeted by Scot. He was very knowledgeable about all of the products and helped me make an informed decision regarding living room pieces and a dining table that would be suited for an apartment. If it wasnt for him, I think I would still be looking and definitely still frustrated. I cant wait to receive my furniture when I move into my new apartment!

I would like to recognize salesman Tony McGowan and the rep Kaylee. I walked around the store a couple of times in an effort to find living room furniture. Tony was very friendly and helpful even though I could find whatI wanted. I had a Montage credit so I decided to redeem it toward bed sheets and a pillow. Kaylee contacted a manager and was informed the credit could not be applied on weekends. She was persistent and contacted another manager and I was able to make my purchase. Tony waited patiently as Kaylee made calls. I am in the customer service field so I tend to expect great service. Tony and Kaylee were amazing and went over and beyond even though my purchase was small.
Being only 20yrs old I was scared to death to buy furniture but Mrs.Denise made it very easy and stress free and was very thorough. I’m very satisfied 😊
Good variety of styles and prices. If you get trailed by a lurking salesman, leave and go back another day. We had someone following us the first time and werent impressed. Went a few weeks later and found a great guy to work with!
They have a nice big selection, but we only found one sectional that might work for what we would like. EVERYTHING in the store was of the same color pallet. The sectional was a reasonable price. We just have to measure before we buy. All of the wood or so-called wood felt, sounded, and looked like plastic(y). None of it felt like it was built to last more than a few years and certainly wouldnt be a heirloom in 50 years. I would rather spend the extra to buy quality then on trend style for 5 years.
We were able to purchase great sofas here. We had a great salesperson during our second visit. First salesperson on our first visit was tailing is the whole time, even when we said we were just looking. Luckily he wasnt there during our second visit.

Great American generously provided a mattress, box spring and bed frame for a homeless friend who was able to get an apartment. After an extended time living on the street, he is now sleeping like a king thanks to them! Every product Ive purchased there has been excellent quality with great style at a great price. Ms. Ernestine Mull was our sales representative. The atmosphere was very nice and pleasant. Ms. Mull was awesome in answering all of our questions and giving us information on the durability of the living room we chose. A few weeks later we couldnt be more pleased with our selection. We get compliments all of the time on our furniture. Were very positive these pieces will be in our family for years to come. We are especially happy about the fabric being stain resistance, washable, bleach friendly ETC!!! We are a family who believes in being able to USE the furniture and not having it just for show, so we are also please about the promise of the pieces not sinking in over time. The pieces we chose, to some standards may seem pricey, however if you want quality youre going to have to pay a little more. Worst experience ever, the Memphis store has a clue but the manager and salespeople in my own town are a nightmare. They even sold 3,000 of furniture we paid in advance for to someone else and claimed an inventory problem on the 3 weeks after we paid for them - go to Ashley or Memphis location - stay away
Amazing. Debbie is awesome. She was very helpful & insightful. She helped us select a mattress that has improved our sleep quality & efficiency 7% over the past week. Also the SoCozi recliner has alleviated our back pain. We are so grateful & beyond happy!

My sales person was great. He had everything we discussed available for viewing and arranged for delivery . The delivery had to be done in short order since I was only going to be in tow a short period of time. The delivery was on time and professionally done.

Beautiful place. I found the exact chairs I needed. My salesman, Mr. Chamoun, was just great. He met me as I walked in so there was no waiting. He answered all my questions and showed me all the features of the chair. Checkout was fast and delivery was set up based on what I preferred.
After a few days of shopping around for living room furniture, I found The Great American Home Store had the best selection in a range of styles and price ranges as compared to many other nearby furniture stores. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and our salesperson was the ideal mix of available without being pushy. They were actually able to deliver within two days of our purchase which was great (and delivery was very efficient). The customer service staff also put in a bit of extra work when technical difficulties interfered with my immediate purchase. The prices were generally comparable or perhaps slightly higher than some other furniture stores, but I felt were fair given the level of customer service I received. I would absolutely purchase here again!

This store has great staff and a good selection; however, the promises they make about when furniture will arrive are worth nothing! My grandmother spent a lot of money at this store, and what they had in stock was delivered on time and is good furniture. However, two items were not in stock. We were told one would be available mid-December and one would be available late December. Fast forward to mid-December when we have heard nothing from the store. My grandmother finally calls them and checks on the furniture and is told the one piece (that was supposed to be ready then) would be ready in late December with the other piece. Again, late December arrives and we hear nothing about the furniture. So, she calls them, and now she’s told the furniture is delayed until late January. This is totally unacceptable- the late furniture and not being updated and having to call ourselves. The piece that was supposed to arrive mid-December was a lift chair for my grandfather who desperately needs it... and now we’ve waited this long just to be told it’s going to take longer! Things need to change. We love the furniture we’ve already gotten, and the salespeople (Jeff, mainly) were great, but the rest of the service is unreliable, unprofessional, and unsatisfactory. My grandmother just gave up and cancelled the two items. It’s a serious shame because now we have to find another lift chair at another store and wait for them to deliver it when he needed it a month ago.

I ordered two full dining room sets and two bistro sets. They were delivered to my two homes that are right next door to each other. The driver did not have to move the truck, but I had to pay two delivery fees. This was the only issue I had with my purchase. Bonita, my sales lady, and Jeremy and Chris, the delivery guys, were great! Barbara, the clerk at the store that set up my delivery could stand to have better customer service.
Our sales associate Mallory was very helpful!! She made our visit comfortable and fun!! We were buying an entire apartment for my daughter and she took away the overwhelming feeling of it all!! The the father and son team that moved it all in for us were like the frosting on the cake!! Will never go anywhere else!!! I also purchased online to add a few more items!!
