My experience with House of Lights was exceptional. A sales representative by the name of Lindy assisted me upon entering the premises. My needs were small; however, she afforded me every courtesy. She walked me around and demonstrated specific fans that met my criteria. She showed me fan books until I settled on one that would meet my needs. After I made my decision, I called the store and spoke with her. At the time I called, she was with another customer and said she would return my call as soon as she finished with the customer in front of her at that moment. She was a consummate professional. She returned my call, ordered the product with a generous thank you for my business. I have been, at times, a bit disgruntled, when, as a customer, I have been asked to wait while the salesperson spoke at length with another customer via phone.I will recommend this business to others, not because the products are excellent; because the service and attention to detail were excellent. It is a rare commodity to feel valued. That one attribute alone makes Lindy a valuable asset to this company.Kathy Daly

My experience with sales person Liz was not a pleasant experience, so I would avoid Liz. But Im giving this company a 5 bc in the end, my issues were addressed and taken care of by caring management and the installation process was amazing! Jamie the installer made the end of transaction great. Avoid shopping with Liz and you will have a good experience and a great end result! My fans and lights look amazing!

Kim was great. She was professional, courteous, patient and helpful. I appreciate the various models, and sale prices. I returned the light fixtures I bought elsewhere, online. It’s rewarding buying local. I have only positive things to say.

We bought and had installed four outside lights from House of Lights. Thanks to Lindy for helping me pick them out and to Jamie who installed them, both were professional. House of Lights is a local business with a large inventory of fans and lights. I highly recommend them. You will pay the same amount of money at a big box store but your quality will be compromised.

I had two lamps that needed to be re-wired. I called House of Lights and spoke with Lindy. Right from the beginning, she was so nice and helpful. When I took the lamps in Lindy greeted me with a smile and took my lamps to be fixed. She walked around the showroom with me and answered any questions I had with perfect knowledge and professionalism. When the lamps were fixed (only one week) Lindy called to inform me. When I picked them up Lindy immediately provided the assistance. I cant say enough about how it felt to deal with a store where I received such great customer service. The showroom is beautiful and offers a wide array of light fixtures and home decor. Dont wait- go and see for yourself and please give my best to Lindy!

What a place number one! If you dont live close by its worth the drive. Liz was great. Above and beyond we spent hours with Liz and her input and opinion helped us a lot. And the fans were amazing. We purchased on both categories and we are very happy. Very good guaranties. So glad we went here. Go what a selection.

I find them to be very accommodating in helping you with the selection, as the amount of high quality merchandise can be overwhelming a bit, thank you Kim. I had both fans installed by them also and found their work crew to be knowledgeable and professional as well as neat. They are honest people and I will be happy to shop there again. They also sell beautiful home furnishings and I spent time looking at those also. They treat their customers well and it is appreciated by me.

I bought a $3000 light fixture from House of Lights about six years ago. (See Photo) The strands of crystals are simply falling off at random and causing damage to the dining room table and breaking into shards on the tile floor. I have lost about ten so far.I have called and asked for help from House of Lights and the only response was that the manufacturer will sell me each strand for $40.00 each! That price does not include installation andI have not idea how to have them installed. I am sure the rest of the crystals will continue to fall one at a time. This is a dangerous situation. The crystal are heavy and i fear that a dinner party will be destroyed with one of these falling missiles hurting one of my guests. House of Lights offers no other suggestions or recourse! So buyer beware!I also bought some replacement shades for fixtures I purchased at House of Lights and the vendor receipt was left on the package. I paid almost $40 each the vendor receipt was $9! Dont buy anything there if you expect it to last! I gave one star because Things are pretty there.

We were very happy with the electrician, Jamie, sent to install our fans. He was very efficient and knowledgeable as well as very polite and personable. You could tell he was a very experienced electrician by the method he used to prepare and install the fans. It was like clockwork, with each step taken a precise movement leading forward to the next needed for a quick installation. There was absolutely no ‘rework’ or ‘let’s try that again’ in his installation. They all worked the first time he tried them. He installed fours fans in an amazingly short time frame. We were very impressed with his electrical skills and have requested him to install our next purchase.Our sales clerk, Liz, was very helpful in guiding us in our decision to buy fans and lights that suited our home. Overall, the experience with House of Lights was very positive. I would make that store my first stop for any additional lighting needs.

Jamie was our installer today. He installed three ceiling fans and two vanity lights. He did a great job. He thoroughly went over the operation of the remote controls for the fans and also explained how we could operate the Fans through bluetooth.

Love the light I purchased for my bathroom. But, the bulbs I need to exchange as they’re too bright. They are 100 watts x 4= 400 watts...way to bright!

Had a great experience working with Wade ordering most all the interior and exterior lights for our project. Extremely professional, prompt and proficient at researching product information and coordinating payment and shipment details for overseas. They are a delight to work with and would definitely buy from them again. Excellent customer service.

If the product is still being sold in your store, and it is in the original packaging, and the customer wants store credit for additional purchases - I think having a good customer might be better for a business than strictly adhering to a policy. We were heading to the store today - needed an outdoor light, table lamp and a fan - would have spent more than the credit we asked for on the phone. We like House of Lights, but we also value a good relationship with a business and will look elsewhere for these services.

Bought 3 light fixtures and had them installed through them by Jamie. He did a superb job with the installation process. He showed up on time, cleaned everything up when finished, and answered all questions regarding the equipment.

Wade from House of Lights was FABULOUS!! He helped us with lighting design, choosing the correct overhead lights and wall sconces for our bathroom remodel. He was fun, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. The entire experience was wonderful.

We bought a beautiful chandelear. It was very expensive, but well worth the expense. It is stunning. The men who installed it did a first rate job as well. It was too big for one person to install. We are extremely pleased with our purchase.

Never got in the door. Was turned away promptly at 3:59. Closes up at 4pm on Sat? Closed Sunday. But they will be open at 8:30am on Monday when I am at work. Oh well...I will shop elsewhere.

Very friendly and knowledgeable people. Kim was very helpful in leading us in the right direction for the type of lighting we wanted. I had also found a chandelier online that I loved but forgot to save the website that I had found it on. I seached for weeks online but couldnt locate it. I was very disappointed. But I had the saved picture and asked Kim, if by chance, had she ever seen this chandeliar. To my surprise, she said she had seen it before and thought she could locate it. She pulled out a huge lighting book and BAM...there it was. She found it in 2 minutes time. I was so happy!! We ordered it for our new home and it is more then I expected. It is gorgeous! All the other lighting and fan choices we ended up making were just what we hoped for.

Kim was great, the rest of the staff was so-so. Because I didnt look like an interior designer they must of thought that I was possibly in the wrong store...NOT. Im one of those interior designers thats hands on. Ill look other places first from now on.

Our last visit on Memorial day weekend was an unpleasant one because the salesperson was so pushy. Her goal wasnt to find what we needed, but to make a sale. We were uncomfortable and when we left, she handed us a card to ensure we would mention her name if we decided to come back to buy. This wasnt a nice experience.
