Compared to other Hot Topic locations, the employees here were just too busy conversing with one another to welcome customers. Normally, in other hot Topic locations, the employees are the first to reach out to customers in case of help, but the employees were just behind the counter talking with one another. It just felt like the employees didnt care about the customers until they reached the counter. Overall, the store was neat and well-displayed.

Salesperson Brittany was awesome! She knew what I was looking for and even looked something up for me when the store didnt have it

I spend a lot of time and money in various Hot Topics and I have to say this is the first one that I just outright decided not to spend money in. Someone came in and spent a decent amount of money and as soon as they left the employee complained about them using Hot Cash and lowering the sale amount. Like straight trash talked the customer after they left within earshot of other customers. Hard pass. I put the items back I had in hand and ordered them online while in store.

Very clean and well kept store. Employee was extremely helpful and went well above and beyond to be helpful.

Hot Topic is personally one of my favorite stores to buy band t-shirts and talk to the employees about music recommendations, the last time I went there, the employee wasnt wearing a mask and neither were the other customers, I was the only one wearing one (along with my sister of course) I just wish they were a bit safer with COVID19 and all.

We love coming to this location!! Their mandatory mask policy is amazing and it keeps not only the employees safe but also all of their customers who come from all walks of life!! We appreciate your hard work in Keeping the local community safe!! Also their store manager is so helpful and super friendly!! 10/10 would recommend stopping in for all of your hot topic needs!

Billy the guy that works there is rude af. Pretty sure the employees are buying the sqush mellows before they are released. Was there at 11am this morning and they were already gone. Like how does that happen. He popped off when we asked why they were already sold. Seems a little suspicious. Anyway im calling corporate office. This man has no customer service skills at all.

Went to get some jewelry the lady helping was fantastic. The cashier made a few mistakes, maybe he was just having a rough day.

I usually dont write negative reviews, and most of the people who work here are nice and respectful, but the person who manages the instagram account is absolutely rude. I got blocked from just writing a post that says Sold out before the store open regarding some squishmallow plushies and then they blocked me ??? So now I cant see any of the posts :/ I dont really appreciate any store that censors people who are being respectful and not even using any foul language.EditThe Manager Billy has posted all of the negative reviews on his Facebook page and is complaining about it and being disrespectful towards the reviewers. He does this frequently when anyone at work upsets him. I have worked in retail before and I had never made any Facebook post complaining about them in any degree, and I had to deal with customers urinating in cups and leaving them in my store. Posting a one sided pity party on Facebook is just sad and very unprofessional. Wish I could give less than a one star.

Best store I’ve been to yet! Every associate was incredibly helpful and insightful when I was shopping for my fiancé. Not only did they have a perfect policy during the pandemic but they enforced it. While I was shopping a customer tried to enter the store without the safety equipment required to do so. An employee named Billy stopped the customer and informed her of the policy. Even when the customer became irate and demanded to be able to shop without a mask due to a “personal” issue, Billy still insisted on following policy. He even went above and beyond his job requirements by informing the customer he would gladly shop for her and bring her items for her to look at even tho she couldn’t enter the store. Unhappy with the recommendations Billy gave, she made a big show of how unhappy she was with the policies in place to protect everyone and left.After seeing how an employee not only enforced a policy but also tried to help an unruly customer who cares so little about everyone, I can certainly say I will always come back to this store whenever I am in the mall. You have made a lifelong customer thanks to Billy.

Store used to be good but billy was super rude demanding we wear masks even after I explained my medical reason for not being able to wear one. They have now earned 2 less customers for life he was so rude I cannot believe how he treats hot topics long term customers. Would not recommend to anybody.

Wife and I went here. Only 10 people in store at a time. 9 in store so we both couldnt go in. Decide to wait for 1 to leave. When one person comes up to go in they are allowed while we still have to wait but now we have to wait for two to leave. Longer wait. If this isnt rude. Choose who you let in. Couples wait last.

The employee Billy is so rude. Yelled at us for asking a question. Wth?

Billy & crew care more about the health and safety of staff and customers than the few dollars of someone who “can’t wear a mask.” No amount of Karen cash is worth 500,000+ American lives lost but go off sis. This store rules for so many reasons, this is just one of them.

A little horse hockey but not much

I went in with my daughter (16) who loves this store. But to me, personally, Im too old for this place!😂 It was rather dark and extremely crowded with merchandise, but they had quite a large variety of items and the young lady behind the register was extremely nice and helpful and knew where everything was and she was happy to help. If the store was arranged a little differently I would have spent more time there shopping but I had to leave because I am very claustrophobic. I give it 4 stars because my daughter LOVES this store and the young lady was genuinely friendly and helpful. If she wasnt genuine then I would give fewer stars!

For my personal taste, I was surrounded by tons of Disney amd Stranger Things merchandise. I could have bought everything in there! Always an awesome selection of stuff. Really nice workers too.

Its been a very long since Ive been to this place . We were actually shopping for a gift. When we entered the store we were never greeted or asked if we needed any help or even told of the specials they had going on . So yes I was very disappointed especially since there was two employees at the counter, too busy talking to each other that they didnt even take the time to pay attention to any of there customers
