I enjoy shopping at JC Penney the prices are reasonable most of the time especially when they have sales going on I have a good time walking in a clean organized clothing store JC Penney stores or always clean and inviting and the staffs are very helpful.

Easily accessible from the main road 192 and not far from I 95. Plenty of free parking including for handicap accessible vehicles. The store was clean and had a decent staff who were adhering to all COVID GUIDELINES as required.The store was not crowded but had a good inventory of all items. It appeared they were gearing up for the Labor Day weekend sales.It is one of the anchors of the Mall which has many other stores.

I was able to find the bras that I needed on my own because there is absolutely no salesperson on the floor to help you with any questions that is so sad.

My review is mostly of the App and JCP as a whole, but I couldnt find anywhere else to review it so here it goes. I have been trying since Sunday to place an order via the JCP app, but it would not accept any of my cards. I tried reaching out to customer service via email and phone with no response. I even went into the store yesterday to try and get some help or another way to reach out to customer service for online orders. The ladies at the counter were very defensive, even though I was not upset, just seeking some answers. They finally gave me a phone number, but I called after I got home and it was not the right number. I finally found a chat option today and resolved the App issue, but they would not honor the coupon I was trying to use. I feel that JCP as a company should take better care of their customers. I have always shopped there but may not anymore after this. Why offer an app option if it doesnt work properly, and then not honor your coupons when things go wrong? Especially since I couldnt get a response from customer service. Very disappointed.

Had lots of sales as usual. The employees all wore masks. This store was part of the mall, the mall and all the stores had signs urging to wear a mask and social distance. Everyone I saw wore a mask. Even in the food court, unless they were eating. Not over crowded . But it was a weekday afternoon. I would go again.

The store had been rearranged again so it took a while to find what I was looking for. The selection in the sneaker dept was almost nonexistent. The size selection for clothes was for small/slender people. I saw alot of signs that stated to look online for more of a selection. I am a hands on buyer and do not care for that at all. The parking was good though.

I used to love JCPenney and shopping in store however today they disappointed me. Went in a little after 7pm and knowing they close at 8pm I rushed around and grabbed some clothes I wanted to try on. At 7:30 pm no dressing rooms were open. Went to ask and they said it was already cleaned so they closed it. I asked if they are open till 8pm and I just got a simple yes reply and no offer to let me try on the clothes. So I awkwardly said I guess I’ll just leave these clothes then... I got nothing in response. I may still order online from JCPenney but I doubt I’ll go in store again anytime soon. The only reason to go in store is to try on the clothes so online shopping experience would be more convenient, friendly, and personable anyway. At least the computer can’t be rude and dismissive. I suppose the retail store plans on being a return center for online purchases since they are not at all focused on customer service.

Took my Grandmother for a nice mall outing and ended our trip with JCPenny. Usually its nice and a fun way to spend time, unfortunately the end of our trip turned sour quick. As we were checking out Mary, our cashier, rudely informed us that our LEVI jeans were both not on sale. I guess no one informed Mary that LEVI is currently buy one at normal price, get the second at half so OBVIOUSLY one was full price. She then very rudely informed us that a pair of womens swim trunks were also not on sale (guess she thought we couldnt afford regular price). Again, someone must have not informed Mary about the going ons inside the store because those ones WERE on sale (40% off with the rack of similar shorts on bright yellow signs) but at that point she was so rude and condescending towards us that we didnt wanna fight her (she was JUST letting us KNOW). And as all that wasnt pleasant enough for us, she SCOFFED AND ROLLED HER EYES each time my grandmother spoke Spanish. So I guess thats the last time we shop at JCPenny at the mall. So buyer beware, your skin color will determine the service you receive, at least from Mary our cashier whom was working at terminal 414 for transaction 3568 on 9/24/2021 at 3:33p.m. ASSOC #0519.

I ordered shoes online. Wrong size, so I returned to the store. The stores organization was poor. They displayed a dirty filthy mattress. Clearance items were just clumped together. Really disappointed in the store itself. I didnt want to buy anything in the store. So I reordered the correct size online.

What a mess. Their computers were not correctly programmed to reflect their Fathers day specials. Their new credit card discount did not credit properly with their Bonus Dollars credit and the manager could not figure an override. After wasting over two hours, with 2 visits, to figure this out....they were much happier to refund our $3800 purchase than graciously handle the $10 discrepancy. Left a very poor taste in our mouth for Penneys.

The only thing being totally Disabled, I would love to see the store have electric carts made available.My only complaints about the store is that being Disabled, I needed help with several things yesterday & there was no employees to be found! I had to use what ability I had left to walk to go hunt an employee down!I also think there needs to be more than one register open at all times!

Stores always clean. Help is always right there when I need it. I can always find what I want.

Ok! Who ever is the buyer for the clothes needs a few lessons in quality materials. They may have markdowns but on the clothes/materials that are cheap. Cant fool all the public.

Store currently does not open until 11:00 am. At 11:10 am there were 10 people in the pick up/return line. One woman working while at least 2 other associates were chattinh. Never again.

The cashiers are slow other than that it was great

Penneys is a delightful shopping experience. The jewelry department offers lovely and affordable gifts. The assessory department offers a wide range of wallets, purses, and scarves. The housewares department offers gorgeous kitchenware, bedding, cookware, and dining room accessories. The clothing is stylish and affordable. Make an appointment in advance for the salon. You will not be disappointed!

This store has made big improvements. Very clean and organized. The bathrooms are very clean. They do jave some great deals right now.

Our store in the Melbourne Mall was not crowded. There were lots of safety precautions at check out and people were wearing masks. My favorite shampoo was on sale. Score!

Had a question on whether or not something was on sale, one associate was rather rude and short with her response so I asked another who was friendly and scanned my item to answer my question. Some people have a knack for sales others dont. Seems like a nice place to shop so I will more than likely come back.

Needed shoes, this was the only pair they had in size 12...Store was dirty, clothes laying all over the floor, Pennys used to be an excellent store.No staff to be found anywhere, confusing store layout with only one entrance open because of the virus only gound one register open and waited in line for about 15 minutes to check out...found a stain on the dress pants I bought when I got home so Ill have to go back to return them...No wonder theyve closed so many stores being part of the Mall business model.

The employees are always rude, the line to the counter is always insanely long because they never have enough employees working there, no sales associates on the floor to help you with anything, and none of them know how to manage returns or exchanges properly. The store is always a mess with the clothes on the tables thrown around everywhere. They need to do better. Its not even worth going in the store with all the hassle I always go through. I can find the same things somewhere else in the mall without all the issues. Me and my friends always loved going into Pennys. It was always a great store. But over time it has really declined and I hope they can fix it.

The bathrooms were opened but the sinks were out of order - DISGUSTING! How are the employees washing their hands? I was told that the store is being remodeled but in the meantime, it is in total disarray. There are piles of clothes all over the place. The store makes no sense.

Most entrances are blocked! I guess due to covid?A bunch of seniors, were outside driving around from side to side of building, not knowing how to enter. There were tiny signs on doors, but you needed to get out of your car & walk to door in order to read them.As these older folks kept circling the building, I was telling them that the sign said enter at main entrance . That would be a very long walk, for many! JCP or the Mall, whoever has made these restrictions, need to figure out something more sensible & senior friendly. JCP is in trouble financially, they need to accommodate their customers, older people!

GREAT deals! You help yourself to the fitting rooms. Its difficult to find staff, their extremely busy at the registers, but when you do they are very helpful. Nice variety of clothing for men, women, and kids. Its a bit warm but the place is packed with clothes, which is a good thing!

Got a really good deal on a pair of shoes for my cruise. It was on clearance and I was able to open a new account and combine with another discount. Literally paid a few dollars for a pair of white wedges. Love these deals!

Nice store but only one way in or out and extremely confusing once your in there to find the door you came in. Also sale prices are inflated from inflated base prices...

Penney would be rolling in his grave if he knew what has happened to his once lovely store. Just too much competition with similar stores. When this is the case, your best option is to retain the staff to go out of their way for customer satisfaction, service, and even small talk to make people feel welcome. Thats a start. And the problems will only multiply as more people become comfortable with shopping for clothes online.

I went here with one of my daughters. I havent been to Penny in a very long time. I cant say I was too happy with the place. Help was few and far between. It was almost like going to a Ross store in that respect. The one salesperson we did deal with was very pleasant. They also didnt push you to get their card. That was nice. I thought their prices on some things were a little high. After all this is Christmas shopping time. Expect to see sales. But I did find a jacket that I like very much on sale at 50% off. So it wasnt a totally wasted trip.

Still competitively marketed and conveniently located with readily appealing shopping for all. One is encouraged to always take advantage of their sales and coupons. A chain store that you will need to always go to secure bargains at the right price at the right time and at the right quality.

I have been here several times and have been iffy about whether or not I can afford some things that I wanted Lilia had informed me of when there were sales. The day of the valentines day sale there was a lady there named Letty who was very nice and took all the measures to help me get the item i was looking for. Even went through the jewelry rack multiple times and checked the back, then recommended me to sign up for a card in order to help me get a discount. Will be back again.

Floor management is terrible. The store in Melbourne is a mess - the shoe department is an example. Very disorganized. Theyre following Sears!

Salon is a joke! Had an appointment and stood there waiting outside of the salon for 50 mins before walking away. Many others just walked away also. Customer service is awful. Why bother making an appointment if it cant be honored.

Great store - as always. But it was the cashier who made it better. She pointed out that I had rewards on my account plus with a sale going on, I could get some things at a deep discount and even free depending on what I chose. That, right there, mashes a huge difference to me - especially since Im not big on shopping.

I dont even know why I even waste my money at the store the quality of the clothing is not even worth a waste of time. Youre lucky to be able to find somebody to help you even if you have a question. And then if you find somebody they seem annoyed to even talk to you or even be at work. I always give him another shot but 3rd Strike is an out. I will not be going back to this place ever again. I just dont see why its so hard for people to answer a simple question about a product when theyre the ones that are working there and that are supposed to help. I get most of my answers online when Im there anyway because it seems to be nicer. Not everybody is going to have the same experience but my experience is always been bad. If you have great experience good for you but this is my review and Im done with this company.

It was a great store however we were there on 11/22. Only one entrance open. Had to stand in line with 15 other people to check out. 1 register open with 1 cashier. Hope you get more people to work before Christmas rush. If not you will be closing the doors. This was once a 5 star.

You can a great deals on gifts, New things for the kitchen or bedroom. I enjoyed my time and left feeling great. Dont forget to get the store charge card. Go checkout the Christmas area. Something for everyone

There was no sales associate on the sales floor, and only one check out was the service deck which two customers were both doing large returns had to wait to purchase one item.
