I have to say Top Notch Marine is one of the best shops my husband and I have ever been to. We spent the morning calling all kinds of boat shops looking for a propeller and everyone we called didnt want to take the time to help us or didnt know what we were talking about. We found Top Notch Marine on Google so we called and they were very nice on the phone they took the time to find what we were looking for and at a great price. We will definitely be back for all of our boat needs.

I highly do not recommend this place. I walked into the store looking to see what boats they had available and spoke with one of the salesman, Jim. He gave the impression that he was your friend but was really just rude and condescending and not helpful at all. I would search for boats else where! Not a good experience, waste of my time!
The name says it all. Top Notch. Everything from the moment you walk into the showroom to taking delivery of the boat was amazing. Greg and his team are a perfect example of what boat buying should be. I picked up my new boat yesterday, and they even took the time to go out on the water with us to show us every little detail. What an amazing experience! From the sales staff, finance staff, and service personnel, they were friendly and answered questions! Tried multiple times to talk to someone in sales, left several messages in Melbourne, I had to call other store in Fort Pierce to find out about stock in Melbourne. Everything on there website is supposedly sold but all of them have been on their website for 3 weeks. Think they would take off what is sold but just want you to call to tell you they are sold but you can order an upgrade one now!
I waited all day for a call and when they finally called it was the most unprofessional conversation I have ever had. I just called asking for rough pricing on a specific new boat and the answer was i dont know, do you know how many boats weve sold in the past two months. Then he gave me prices 10k over the their online price and when I brought up the online price he said I dont know and hung up on me. unreal..... follow up- please read the response I got!!! No wonder their reviews are so bad. And top notch, I did buy a boat from a dealer in Jacksonville and I had a fantastic experience.
EDIT: after seeing what the owner typed below in response to my review I will say this; At no point was I complaining about the boat in my review, nor was I complaining about the boat after the sale either which is why I never contacted you. What I was complaining about was the fact that I rushed in to buy the boat because your salesman said it was perfect, needed nothing, and was ready to go then once I handed over the check I was told it needed lots of work and it would be days if not weeks before I could actually take my perfect boat. Do you remember throwing my check at me and saying that I could go buy somewhere else because I dared to question why I couldnt get the boat in a day or so? Well, I waited and waited for delivery, had to call twice and actually stop in before anyone would even give me an update. Then once I did pick it up NOTHING WAS FIXED other than a new $20 stern light replacement. NO GAUGES WORKED other than the fuel gauge, THE TROLLING MOTOR DID NOT WORK, THE ENGINE even stalled during the sea trial which was due to an obviously NOT marine grade in line fuel filter that was dripping gas on the deck. I accepted the boat and did not bring it back to you because you were obviously not capable of making these repairs and I didnt want to go another 2 weeks without the boat while you sat on it and did NOTHING. I am more than capable (at least compared to your operation) of fixing all those issues, which I did myself in 1 weekend. I had already bought another boat because I wanted to actually take my family boating without waiting weeks and weeks for you to get your act together.My review is negative because your attitude, abilities, and general honesty deserve 1 star. I wasnt blaming the boat, Im blaming YOU. Your childish response to my review is on par with all the other responses you post to all the other negative reviews. Stop blaming the customer and maybe just dont sell boats that need more work than you are capable of handling.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This place is an absolute joke. Waited weeks for delivery of my ready to go vessel. Was told they had to replace some parts, okay, fine. Then after waiting weeks I pick up the boat and they addressed ZERO of the issues the boat had. None of the gauges worked except the fuel gauge. The service guy said oh, I made sure that one worked because its the most important one. Seriously? The delay in delivery was supposedly for the tach/engine harness and that wasnt fixed. On top of that issue, the manager is rude and aggressive. My salesman, although extremely polite and friendly, had zero knowledge of the boat or boats in general. Told me the boat was ready to go, all checked out by service and needs nothing. Then the manager gets mad at ME for questioning why it takes weeks to deliver a boat that I was told was perfect and needed nothing. Then on top of that, he doesnt even fix the issues that caused the delay.I should have cancelled the deal from the start and gone somewhere else like my instincts told me to do after the manager had his temper tantrum on the sales floor. I ended up selling this boat and buying a new one from a different dealer since these guys were so inept and the perfect boat they sold me ended up being far from perfect...

If I could give 0 stars I would. I cant get a hold of anyone on the phone and their online inventory is not up to date. If you go into the store, you cant even get a price breakdown without selling your left kidney! And you want to call your customers sleazy?!

Im shopping for a new boat and I was asking about the Wellcraft 222, I asked about if I could do sea trial upon giving a deposit. Basically the sales manager laughed at my face and told me they will oy do it after I purchased the boat. He said its not economically viable. Why would I make a $70000 purchase then try it to see if I like it how it rides? The manager would not even get of his table to talk to me he was very demeaning and condescending. I wont be giving my business any time for these place. I would rather drive to some other wellcraft store and give my business to them.

I spoke to the management on Friday and explained that I lived in a about an hour away. They made arrangements for me to bring it in the next day and guaranteed that I would be able to drive the boat home that day. The staff at Top Notch are extremely friendly and helpful. Every question that I have ever asked has been explained in detail. I have dealt with both the Fort Pierce store where I purchased my new Honda motor and the Melbourne store where they did my 20 hour service. GREAT PEOPLE.

Contacted Frank Andrews at the Melbourne dealership by emails and he continued to keep me abreast of boats available. I was working 7 days a week and had no time to go see boats he was finding in my price range of under $10,000. On my 1st Saturday off my wife and I stopped in and Frank happened to be there and had a boat there he had mentioned, glad he was there. We decided on it after a quick discussion and an offer we were happy with. Cant wait to pick her up. Thanks guys....
My wife and I stopped in yesterday and they seemed extremely busy, but they all made sure we were taken care of. Of all the places we stopped yesterday they seemed like the only place that wanted to to take the time and help us find what we want without trying to talk us into something immediately.
Can’t praise these guys enough! These guys were the only ones who took my boat in for repairs so that I could use it over the holiday weekend whereas no place else would because my boat is old. Having been a boat owner and buyer for 40 years this company gave us the best service in our lifetime. From walking into the showroom to viewing the huge inventory selection, I will say this team is really Top Notch. Took delivery and they helped us get implemented to the new boat. Great people! We and our grand kids love the new pontoon!
Be cautious of this place and shop around. I took my boat in to have them look at a non-startimg issue. Diagnosis was bad battery cables. When the boat was dropped off they also noticed the steering arm was very corroded and needed replaced as it was a safety concern which I agreed it was. I asked them to replace the battery cables and give me a quote to replace the steering arm. They came back with the following:$2800 just to start the repair, it was stated that any bolts that were broken during the repair would be $100 for each one and if there were any that were broken and could not be extracted or replaced then they would just call me to come get the boat and that they would be done with it. They said I should just speak with their sales group about doing a repower. At this point I was suspicious. I had them repair the battery cables and picked up my boat. I took it to a Honda authorized marine repair shop in Orlando and my quote was $1500 and there was never a mention of any concern of breaking bolts. I also had the other servicer replace spark plugs, do a lower end unit service, replace the water pump impeller and I was out of there for less than $1800.
We purchased a trailer from Top Notch today! Off to the Keys we go! Frank and Rachael were great to work with, simple and easy transaction! Even got a temporary tag included!Well definitely will be back!
Not only did they take over 3 months to return my boat to me after a 100 hour servicing, they gave it to me filthy. Old oil filter still in my boat. Batteries were dead. Ground disconnected and screw missing. And to top it all off, they failed to replace the steering fluid. No boating for me today. I will never let them touch this boat again.

Revise 12/11/12 - Under new Service Manager, Annmarie & her staff communication & service have greatly improved. She keeps us informed every week on progress. She gives detailed attention to getting quality repairs done.Experience has been awful since purchasing a new boat. Nothing but problems and poor service. The boat keeps going in the shop for warranty work and minor repairs that dont get addressed the first the time. Once the boat is sold, they treat you like they dont care. I wouldnt even give them 1 star.
I recently gave Top Notch Marine a one-star rating. After speaking to the general manager and Nick the service manager at the Melbourne store I realize that my rating was unfair. Once they realized I was unhappy they went above and beyond to help me Resolve my problem. This is a sign of a great company. They could have ignored me but they did not. I will recommend Top Notch Marine to anyone in the future. Thanks again Nick and Greg.

Myron and his service team have been great! The only problem is Epic Boats warranty department does not communicate with their dealers. My new boat has been at Top Notch Marine in Melbourne service center for 3 months waiting for Epic Boats to approve warranty work and send the parts. I have been dealing with the worst warranty coverage on any boat I have ever owned for the last year with Epic. I have owned 5 brand new boats and Epic Boats does not have it together when it comes to honoring their warranty. I have been through 4 warranty managers at Epic Boats since February 1st 2016. My patience is about to run out with this boat manufacture.
Don’t take your boat to Top Notch Marine, stolen lower unit and said my Boy has to pay for a new one that it’s not there problem! Boat went to them fully detailed and waxed and looks like they used the boat and destroyed it ! Been their 3 months for warranty work saying they can’t get parts !
According to them there is an NDA on the paperwork you sign when you bring a part in for repairs. Review removed. Good luck.

Met Erin and Greg at the 2018 Boat Show in Miami. After reviewing many manufacturers, I settled on a Wellcraft 221 Bayboat and Trailer. Erin went above and beyond throughout the entire buying process for my 1st ever Purchase of a Boat. Greg maintained the price from the show and We set up two water demo days to first check if this is the right boat for me and what additional equipment I want to add. Nick has been very helpful throughout the water demo process and has answered all my questions. Just waiting now for the 20 hour services to get the Bow Covers, Mat Package, and the back to the Driver’s seat.Thanks once again for a great experience, communication, and learning for a boat purchase. Worst place to buy a boat. Very rude. If you need warranty service and you didn’t buy the boat from them they won’t give you any service. I bought a Monterey from an out of state dealer and the Monterey dealer in St. Pete did all the warranty work as needed even when the boat was not purchased from them. They won’t ever gain me as a customer the other dealer did. When I purchase my next boat certainly it won‘t be from Top Notch.Reply: I did go to your store to see a boat. Monterey 258SS which you had 3 in stock with different options. I mentioned I had been working with an out of state dealer to buy a used 2018 278SS with a mercury engine and a bunch of options none of the boats you had in stock had and all you guys did was try to make me change my mind to buy a 258SS with a Volvo engine. Then I asked if I can service that boat with you guys with any warranty issues and let me clarify that “Warranty” if I purchase the particular boat from out of state and rudely told me they wont even look at it they only warranty boats you purchase from them. Well I ended up buying the boat and I am using the monterey dealer in st petersburg which have taken care of me with any warranty issue I have had and I didnt buy the boat from them.
My family will always keep coming back to Top Notch Marine in Melbourne. We are so excited about our new Wellcraft we can barely contain ourselves. Thanks for going above and beyond guys!
Worst boat dealer I have ever witnessed. Completely unprofessional, lack of urgency, and does not put the customer first. Do not ever buy a boat here, you will be only stuck with headaches.
Purchased a new boat just about a year ago. Have had numerous issues that required warranty repair (i.e. broken macerator, faulty gauges, etc) and they were never able to fix a single issue. They swore up and down that they replaced the broken parts but it was returned to me in a broken condition. It took weeks to get replacement parts in, if they were ever ordered in the first place, and I lost a lot of time with it being in the shop. It seems as though their service department is very mismanaged. The take the sale and move on to the next customer. I will not buy from there again.

You seem to have a single defense stating the time you have been in business. They contacted me regarding a specific boat they have. They said that boat i want inspected is not a good boat, and they have a great boat and explained its status.No problems. Same price as the private listing supposedly and they were wanting to trade for my car. GREAT! Drove 5 hrs to get there only to find the boat is not ready as they are so busy, (19 boat) and would be 2.5 wks minimum...🤨( 1 day later) as well they want cash too on my end. The condition of the car was the reason, and I accepted. Bringing the trade to even.The next day i reached out to Greg to check the status. He said he needed the downpayment and I would be on the schedule to take delivery. I passed along my debit card information and he said I would receive an email confirmation and a card verification to sign.2 days went by and no message. I called and was not responded to for an additional day. I was then contacted (through text message....) that the trailer has problems they didnt know about. They supposedly found when bringing it in to get ready for my delivery. Which I was told takes a day usually and somehow this was only a few days after being told this would not happen for over 2 weeks...Then Greg called saying the trailer was bad and would cost 1k to fix and that he wouldnt fell good putting me at risk with a bad trailer. I said I can bring my own and requested that the additional 1k at least be removed from the deal. He said no that wouldnt be fair to them and said it would be another grand if I wanted the deal.Literally embarrassing. Cant really quantify how a place survives 30 years of business with ethics as such.And the worst part, I have had 2 attempts at fraud on my card since giving my numbers out that day.... 2+2=4......Plenty of other options... good luck!
These people are very unprofessional! We bought a new boat from them, had it serviced and equipment added. Suddenly when the boat is in for an annual service they call and report your boat has been stolen and that it will be on your insurance. We will not cover anything! As they had Camera Surveillance I thought they may have been able to get a video clip with the thief, No luck, recorder did not work... After settling with insurance company I thought they may give me hell of a deal, instead they stated, we can give you an employee discount as we all have to make money... Plain disgusting people who should not run a business at all.
The service department did a great job with my boat when I brought it in for yearly maintenance! The prices were fair and it got done just in time for Columbus day.

This place is horrible they give you a boat that has soooooo many problems and they take sooooo long to fix their own problems. And also you get rid of the people that are good to the customers and keep the ones that are Crooked and unfair to customers.
Would never recommend or bring my boat back here. i dropped my boat off 19’ maxum bowrider 5.0 i/o and was told it needed a carb rebuild by Nick and Todd. 2 week later i received a call that they wanted to replace my whole entire ignition system. I’ve worked on aircraft and cars my whole life and this sounded like they had no clue and were just replacing parts till it was fixed instead of trouble shooting. When i picked up my boat it was grease everywhere and my spark plugs were all still out of the engine from them doing compression test (cylinders left open) the excuse was they thought i might want to change them. When i put new plugs i realized they had never put my spark arrester cover or nut back on and the parts were not in the boat they were missing even tho i paid $650 for a carb rebuild and sea trial.Boat was also full of water up to the oil pan under the engine, 2 plug wires were in that water and my brand new optima blue top batteries left on and dead. After calling for a week to nick i had to show up there and get told by todd my boat didn’t have a spark arrester cover or nut when they got it, to which i called bullsh*t and they found it in five minutes .Keep in mind they gave it to me in this condition and i didn’t push them to get it done or show up unexpectedly, they called me to pick up the boat. Would love to speak to the owner to help me understand why my boat and i were treated so poorly.

Changing, an update the service has been terrible up until new service manager Allen, me and him have come to a agreement and he seems to have the customers best interest in mind... I will post a follow up after this next few visits with new employees.
Been over a month still waiting ..... and waiting and waiting .... no communication at all . Been told so many things that yet are to take place . Just a phone call back when you say and after a month youd think someone would remember talking to you 🤷♂️
