Expensive & customer service just kinda sucked. Knowledgeable staff & if they dont have something they appear to know how/where you can get it. It was just ok. Id rate them higher if they had better customer service.

I would like to support my local shop but I do all my maintenance and repairs and only need parts. There staff was friendly and helpful but if they have to order the parts anyways at $219 plus a 50 mile round trip to pick them up I’m going to order online at $139 delivered to my door. It’s the same story at the local Yamaha dealer. For the people that need there service capability it would be different as long as they did a good job. If they stock the parts i can justify the expense.

These guys were quick, professional and got me what I needed for my Suzuki. They were super nice which is a bonus

Very easy to find. Excellent customer service

I ordered tires on Feb 2, 2021 Today is March 2. One month has passed and I have made numerous calls to have the tires mounted.Today @1:20 pm on March 2, I was told it would be another two weeks for Carlesons to find time to mount my tires. Six Weeks! Cmon.I have lost confidence in this business; their idea of customer service is at odds with mine.

Let me tell you a story about Carlson Motorsports, believe me, itll make you trust them with your bike.I had a Suzuki Boulevard that I had them service which I ended up selling a year ago. I ended up buying a 1994 Suzuki as a replacement and of course I called them because they were so great to work with last time.Unfortunately they told me my bike was too old for them, and I respect that. But thats not the part of the story I want to stick with you.I called at least ten other Motorcycle shops/ dealerships in the valley, all who didnt want to work on the bike. But do you know what they said? Have you tried Carlsons? Every one of them.Carlsons is so respected that every single mechanics first instinct is to recommend them. Thats special. Take your bike here, theyll do you right.

I will now and forever use any other shop even driving to grants pass or sending my work out of town simply because of the way the woman at the front desk treats people. Seriously be warned your not going to be treated fairly or respectfully by these people! Don’t even bother!EDIT: I notice a representative from this business commented down below. Notice that in this interaction the response is given months later. I did not give them my name and I did not share any identifying information, this interaction occurred over the phone so they did not see my face. The response given by the owner is a blatant lie! I was not offered any kind of compromise, I was treated as a pure annoyance and to be disregarded. It also is untrue that other shops hide there techs away, this valley has very busy techs and it would understandably be counter productive to have techs constantly answering calls, I challenge anyone to test this, call LMS and ask for Jeff (you may get some resistance) but if it’s legitimate you will get Jeff, call any other shop within 100 miles and you will be treated like a human. however this tech had instructed me to call him when I had a specific piece of information that he needed to determine an appropriate response. I was not offered any opportunity to speak with this tech or get a call back. I don’t think the person who responded to this is even the woman who I spoke with originally.The response given is not even based off reality it is a blatant attempt to get the last word in to save face. However it speaks to what my original gripe is in the first place, Had they legitimately been concerned with my complaint they would have just asked what I needed and not just assumed that I was “unpleasable” and toss it up to “just not being able to win” my expectations were reasonable and actually pretty simpleand what this company advertises to do. However let there response be the proof speak for itself. Attacking a customer months later and becoming defensive is never a good look. You could also consider the dozens of other reviews on here and Facebook that share my sentiment. I there must be a very large group of people that just “can’t be pleased” unfortunately this seems to be the same group of people that just happen to have interacted with this company. A stunning coincidence. Shame on carlsons. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. It’s a shame because the gentleman that works there (possibly the owner) in genuinely pleasant, knowledgeable, and an all around cool guy. Too bad he’s walled behind one of the least friendly women I have ever met.

Love the parts I get here, however.... the lady we have to deal with sometimes has a huge attitude almost everytime I have been in. Good thing my husband goes in most of the time when we need something because she needs a lesson in customer service. The gentleman we deal with is nice and helpful and very knowledgeable with the parts we need. I really wish they would let us know when they are going to decide to close earlier close for the day. When we called the voice message let us know right off the bat message will not be listened to probably by the same female that needs doesnt understand the customers who come in help the business stay afloat.

I can only give a review based upon this one experience. They answered their phone. They were there at the front desk when I came in and they didnt waste any time getting my repair completed. It wasnt the cheapest option but they got me an appointment in a pinch. I would indeed go back to them to get another repair done. There was nothing about the experience that went against the grain for me. Good work guys!

Very professional, and exceptional work! Had fork seals replaced and cant even tell they had the front end apart! Was done same day, price was excellent! I highly recommend Carlson for bike service and parts!!! Good job guys. Im very impressed!

Never take a street bike that needs repairs to this place!! I Have a Yahama R6 I couldn’t get started, Carlsons told me the engine seized and it was garbage and advised selling it!! Also charged me 130$ to have it look at and I’m pretty sure they didn’t even try starting it!!! Called RPM Automotive and they went and picked up my bike from Carlsons and had it started the next day with a complete different Diagnostics. Just some friendly advice to anyone who rides .

I have read some horrid reviews on line. Fortunately, all my business doings with this place have been good. Parts always arrive quickly and everything always goes smoothly.

I was quoted one price over the phone and when I came in I was told another price. Which was significantly higher. I live in Grants Pass so it’s over an hour round trip for me to get there. I also took off work early to get there before closing time. Needless to say, I was not happy for them wasting my time and money, and not so much of a I’m sorry from them. I’m a firm believer in respect. And I was shown none. I will not be a patron of Carlson Motorsports ever again. This is a small valley, your reputation should be important to you. Terrible shop with super rude lady who runs it...we will never take our stuff there again!! Price changes with her mood and when they tell you it will take a week plan on leaving your bike there a month or more.

Took my bike in for a new tire! When i picked up the bike ther was glue or Something all over my chrome exhaust pipes! Ask the owner about it, he said it wasnt his fault! He did not even trust me when i said it was definitely not there when i brought it in! He never even offered to clean it off! The stuff is still all over and i cant remove it! I will never step foot in there place again!

I thought I had a major problem with my quad. Instead of taking advantage of my ignorance, they fixed the problem by filling my tires and topping off my coolant, at no charge.

Very helpful and have a great selection of helmets, goggles and other riding gear and parts! Prices are a little spendy but the quality of the products makes it worth it! I am 13 and was looking for a new quad to ride in the dunes and I asked him about the Honda trx 450 and some others he listed pros and cons and then told me if I wanted a good quad with good suspension for jumping and wanted one that everyone is turning to and is running the dunes to get the yfz 450 R and thats what I did and my dad got a yz 450 dirt bike recommended to him and they both have been extremely reliable!Thank you so much! 😃😃

Decent selection of dirt gear. Prices ok. However, some experiences were less than desirable.First was when I ordered a part for my bike (which included the cost of shipping). After two weeks I went in because the part hadnt come in yet. I was told that I could wait another week for it to possibly arrive, or I could pay them double what I had already paid for shipping for it to arrive in a few days. I refused, since I had already paid for shipping.Second was when I tried to buy some new jet sizes for an ATV. I had put on some aftermarket exhaust pipes and a high flow air filter and needed to adjust the jet size. The counter person refused to sell me the jets because they said the quad wouldnt need different jets with an aftermarket exhaust and air filter. Ive been an amateur mechanic for some time, and this lack of basic knowledge on their part really convinced me to never opt for the mechanic services.

I called about a quote was told I would receive a call back.......waited a week and called again. This time I spoke with a service tech who said the guy who had to give the quote had left on vacation and should have called me before he left. I had to wait another week........I called back again. This time I got a lady who told me the guy only works in the morning........and that she had given him the message so there was nothing else she could do. I asked who this guy was and she said my husband and the owner.......so the owner of the shop wont call back a return customer........at least she let me know she wouldnt blame me for going elsewhere........

I was travelling and needed a dualsport tire. They had the tire I wanted (T63) in stock. Their service guys were busy but they offered me a stand so I could pull the wheel off in the lot and they mounted it for me (for a good price). The best service I have ever received from any motorsports shop, and some of the best service from any business, ever.

Friendly staff. Good prices. They have most parts and accessories in stock as well as a nice tire selection. They also have saftey gear clothing and boots, mount tires there while you wait and carry saftey goggles and eywear. I had to order a part for my Polaris and took a few days to get but the price was lower than other retailers. Thanks guys.

Poor customer service. I was given wrong instructions on installation on a part I bought from them. It cost me more money to fix.

Worst bike shop in the area ask them for something and they act like its a hassle to look it up then when they cant find it they say u dont know what your talking about instead of trying to find out what it is your needing they argue i happen to not have my phone on me or i would of shown then in 20sec but they did not want to look it up and find it they just told me if it not on there computer then its not the part i was right i looked it up after i got home and ordered it myself they claim to know so much and have 3 of the same bike but dont know anything about them just like the bike i got 4 years ago that was brand new everything built by the owner that has never ran right and its been back to them 4 times before i took it to cpr who was able to make it run better then they had but still never stays running right 5k for a bike thats never ranya ya its fixed... 1st ride and im pushing it back 3 camping trips later taking back to them till i realized they dont know what there doing save your money

Worst repair job I ever paid for. Our ATV had a failure on parts they had replaced hours before. The new fuel lines werent fastened and started leaking. Carburetor was adjusted such that the machine only ran with full choke on, which makes sense only because they thought full choke was choke off. I might buy gear in there, but never again for repair. This was in May 2915, if you go back now ask if its the same mechanic.

Nasty attitude and bad customer service! The lady that sits in the stool is always in a bad mood and when asking questions she comes off as condescending. If you dont like your job then why work there. If I could leave a lesser rating I would.

They want to take your money but they dont want to do work cant even work on a scooter theyre lame. Talk to me rude. They say they could fix my scooter then they change their mind bunch of jerks. What kind of mechanic can even work on a scooter.
