Picked up some donuts this morning expecting fresh baked donuts but they looked and taste like day-old donuts. I got a variety of glazed donuts and they just didnt taste fresh. Not only was the glazed dry, but the inside of the donuts were extremely dry too. They were not fluffy and fresh tasting like other places Ive tried. They actually look and taste exactly like store bought donuts..... maybe right about to be expired donuts...

Donuts: 30/10 Service: 25/10 Coffee: 4/10Absolutely some of the best doughnuts I have EVER tasted, and they were served with a smile from the friendly staff. The apple fritters are on point and by far my favorite, but everything else Ive had from here is just delicious. The coffee is sub par but the doughnuts and service make up for it. Will be returning. Daily.

Worst donuts I have ever tasted on top of horrible service... Not much else to say. Save yourself a dissapointment and dont order via a delivery service for sure. Out of a dozen donuts only two were what I ordered.update responding to owners response:I ordered a dozen specific donuts via door dash around 11 am Aug 15, mostly filled, a bear claw, a fritter, some cinamon twists and a drink. It was to be my birthday cake.What was delivered was a few very stale cinamon twists and a bunch of old fashioned and cake donuts, stale, with the very unpalatable icing smeared everywhere. My drink was omitted on top of that.Shortly after I placed the order i recieved a very loud and incoherent phone call telling me that one or two substitutions must be made, but that they would throw in some donut holes to make up for it.The order arrived with no donut holes and almost none of what I had actually asked for, plus, no drink. A $30 box of donuts should be perfectly in order, not the crud that I recieved.

Friendly service with Holly, she is good at what she does. Reliable and doughnuts are sooo tasty 😋. Yummm.

Dont understand the name of this place. Doesnt matter. Great good old doughnuts. And the lady working the counter was fantastic.

I was not pleased to find they are not open to walk in traffic anymore there handled by doordash or something like that so couldnt get donuts to take home to surprise my family with when they woke up they used to be the best in rouge valley but now not so much.

Had high hopes but the doughnuts were kinda bland. Not sure if freshness was to blame or whatever but definitely did lack flavor.. The lady was very polite and inviting which was nice. The place seemed dirty walking in but just all the table and chairs stacked by the door you could see visble layers of dust etc.

My kiddo loves the donuts. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Went there this morning got 5 donuts and a few 10 tiny doughnut holes they charged me 8.75 then got home and they were all dried up not fresh wont go back

Great donut shop, first time going to Richards and we are very excited about our find. I’m not sure how anyone in the reviews could say that Penny was rude as she was the sweetest lady I have met who made an effort to know my name. You don’t see that anymore. Awesome donuts and will for sure be returning for more.

We were on a quest for doughnuts this morning and the bright neon lights of the OPEN sign beckoned us in.We had some delicious doughnuts and friendly service.Thank you for the photos of Thailand. My family and I found this gem of a donut shop about a year ago and have made an honest attempt to take our children there for breakfast every week on Saturday. Penny is so sweet and happy every time we come in. She always tells us how beautiful our family is and how much joy we bring her when we stop by, she is truly a remarkable lady who loves to chat with her customers! The donuts there are the best donuts we have ever had which is what originally drew us back over and over again. Now that we have gotten to know Penny, combined with how delicious their pastries are, we wouldn’t consider going elsewhere for a Saturday morning treat. If you are looking for a quick, very reasonably priced treat, this is the place you should go!

My kids and I absolutely love this little donut shop. Weve visited Richards Donuts numerous times over the last 4 years and are always happy with the service and quality. The owners/operators are very cheerful and nice. Since we try to eat healthy, our visits to this shop are limited to special occasions (birthdays, As on report cards, etc...), but they are our first stop on those occasions. We are served quickly and the donuts are extremely tasty and amazing!

Thai donuts are the best, but Thai folks make horrible coffee. Sorry, I love Thailand

Went in and got a dozen donuts and the lady behind the counter put a bunch of extra ones in for free. The donuts were obviously freshly baked and tasted fluffy and amazing. The lady at the front was extremely friendly and Ive never had better donuts in the Valley. The price was well worth it given the high quality.

These people are so nice! Made an order for 3 doz mix and the day I needed them I got a New Years special and she just scooped a bunch in 3 boxes. Very polite and the donuts are so delicious; they were a hit !

So much fun! Penny is sweet and funny. I enjoyed picking out exactly what I wanted, and then she just started tossing stuff into the box for free, lol! I got to try things I normally wouldnt have that way - came to realize Id been missing out on a few things.

Traveling from Phx. to Seattle my son wanted us to check out this town as he might decide to move there. We decided we wanted a pastries and love croissants. Stopped by this place, they had NO pastries { they said they were out } at 10:00 am ??. She said she could get me but just put some frosting on it so I went with that. We left and when I opened the bag I was amazed it was a croissant you buy in a package of four at the grocery store with this thick glob of frosting that was so sickening sweet I threw the whole thing away. I wouldnt even give it one star but have to to register a vote.

Ummm not even sure how these guys are in business. I came in at noon and there was 2 kinds of donuts. The employee didnt speak English. Not sure who is leaving the good reviews but this place is horrible. I walked out without purchasing a beat up looking donut. Dont waste your time, go to the grocery store for a better donut.

Weirdest donut place ever u call them they dont answer they call u back. Also u can hardly understand the lady... then theres 3 options a small dozen medium and then large the donuts are way over priced 4 a large dozen what ever that may be. 16 dollars that is an outrageous price for a dozen of donuts when I can go to my local grocery store and get a dozen for 5 dollars that are absolutely amazing thanks winco Im on my way

You have no idea what what youre missing!! Walking in I was very skeptical due to the atmosphere BUT once you actually taste these donuts you instantly become a die hard fan. As if thats enough the little lady behind the counter floods your donut box with freebies! Hands down best donuts in Southern Oregon :)

My husband and I were bike riding and he took me into the store. For me the first time. For him like the upteenth time. He loves the donutes. Well we went in there and an old lady was working. Yes penny. She was rude from the time I came in until I left. But she served my donutes to me so I got fed. But she needs to either retire cause she is way too old for work or be a lot nicer to ppl. I dont think shes gonna get nicer so its time. Some ppl r just mean cause thats how they r raised. I dont like her but I tollerate her. Shes pretty. That wasnt it. Shes just mean. I tried to cover it the whole time I was in there but I felt like she was telling at me. Ill come back for donutes. But I dont know for how long I can be nice when someones batting at you just cause there done with life. Pretty much. Theres no other way of telling it. God bless all there souls. Shes mean but I think she has to work. Life isnt easy and I think she protests that and feels it. She needs to go relax really. But ppl have to eat. So she works to eat. I have to feed my son. So yah. She might be losing the place customers but Ill tollerate her for a little bit. Gotta be tough in this world. Just gotta be tough.

Horrible service. Not impressed. Allow me to explain. I went into this establishment for a quick dozen of donuts, and boy was I dissapointed. The woman working there promptly ruined my experience by rushing me, and adimantly trying to force me into purchasing items I DID. NOT. WANT. After she finally let me explain I simply wanted a mixed dozen, she refused to pick the pasteries herself. She made me select each type and quantity of my MIXED DOZEN. I eventually gave up with this tedious, yet, rushed process and settled at just 7 donuts. While checking out, she furiously pushed the pin pad in my direction, repeating my toatal over and over again. $9.49! $9.49! $9.49! Naturally, I assumed she was handing it to me, but when I reached out to grab it she shrieked no touch!, and pushed my hand away. Stunned and confused, I patiently waited for her to finish with my card so I could leave. Upon opening my box of delicacies, I was very dissapointed. The donuts smelled and tasted of french fries, were unbelievably flat, and overall unappealing. I refuse to ever step foot in Richards again, and I advise you do the same.

Doughnuts to die for!

Not worth $18. I bought a dozen doughnuts after she asked me repeatedly if I wanted a dozen. I picked all the normal sizes and two apple fritters. She charged me for a Large Dozen $18 That is ridiculous. She knew the price was unfair and kept trying to gauge my reaction by letting me know it was 18. Then threw and handful of doughnut holes in the box in an attempt to justify ripping me off. I will never buy here again.

Family brought home to try. So good! Will be back!

This little whole in the wall donut shop has great fresh donuts!! As a first timer, i was skeptical to try this place out, but im sure glad i did!! I ordered a box of 15 donuts, all different types. & then the nice lady thanked me & went back & threw in 12 donut holes & a cinnabun donut in as a Thank you. Great customer service! I will be by atleast once a week for sure!
