I recently purchased a used vehicle from Medford BMW. One has lots of motivation to write bad reviews when things dont go well, while compliments usually fall by the wayside. Vince was my salesman, and he was easy-going, and a true gentleman. Best salesman Ive ever encountered in 40 years of purchasing vehicles. I Highly recommend him.

Don’t trust any of the positive reviews for this company. I used to work here and not only are most of these positive reviews fake but they are written by staff and the owner. The negative reviews are spot on. The service department and service manager is a joke. They lie and take advantage of customers. They usually don’t know what they are talking about and make a ton of mistakes. If you happen to know what you’re talking about and disagree with the service staff they take it personal and prefer to only deal with customers who know nothing about cars. If you try to complain about the level of service they are likely to turn you away. The sales department will also forge needed signatures and de-horse you out of your car to ensure the sale goes through. This dealership is not to be trusted and I quit working there because I did not want to be apart of such a shady company. Anyone who continues to work here has no honor and should be ashamed. Beware of this place. Go elsewhere.

12/14 New X5 my dream car!Its beautiful X5, and I love this place my sales guy was Justin and he was amazing. He is super friendly salesperson and top notch. If you want a great car coming here is seamless purchase. Lilian finance manager is so nice. We have purchased two cars here, and I will come many -- many more times. I really cant say enough positive things about Medford BMW. Justin has honestly made this the best purchase we have ever done. The staff is super friendly and professional. This was awesome deal and beautiful X5. Did I say I love my new X5 love love.I didnt expect to purchase a car this day. However, going and looking at used BMW was so easy here. The sales person walked towards us and we were like oh F... Here he comes, but I need to say Bill was great. He wasnt pushy and the great thing was he knows his stock. We looked at a used BMW and being 64 I didnt think I could fit comfortably but that wasnt the case I did with lots of room. This car is amazing to drive and Im so glad I purchased it. Set an appointment two months ago and they did not have the parts required for the service I requested. I’ve had multiple issues with this stealership on multiple vehicles, hence me attempting to set an appointment two months ahead of time. Tried to give them two month heads up and they still fail. They can’t diagnose problems correctly and I’ve caught them in lies. If they are willing to lie directly to my face about policies and being prepared for my service then I wouldn’t trust them to diagnose issues for customers either. I would not recommend this place at all. Worst bmw service station I’ve ever been to.

This is not a real BMW dealer. Its owned by Lithia. Worst customer service of all bmw dealers I’ve ever been too. They never have my parts on time or a loaner vehicle when service takes longer than 24hrs.—to their response— I don’t need to go to Southern California!!?? I had local errands to run while you changed my oil for 4 hours. Funny you don’t deny making these other mistakes. And not one apology for the inconvenience.

Over all a good experience. My vehicle was repaired and serviced exactly as they said. Shuttle service was prompt. Well taken care of.Only one thing was difficult. They had my vehicle for about a week, and I wish they had called me a bit more frequently with a progress report. Im a worrier.

This review should be a cautionary tale if you think taking your car to a dealer will get you the best advice. In a period of 2 weeks, I took my 2005 330 convertible into Medford BMW twice. Both times I was told things that made me believe that their “expert Techs” were either incompetent or they were telling me things that were untrue. I bought my car new in 2005 and garage my car during the winter. This year, when I first drove it, the car was indicating that the top was not secure. Nothing happened when I pushed the buttons to lock or lower the top. So, I took it to Medford BMW. They told me that the front motor latch was broken and it wouldn’t release the top. Because they couldn’t get into the top to replace the motor, they would have to break the front latch trim and replace it. Motor - $910 and trim assembly - $746. Total - $1656. Had to think about it, so I picked it up and brought it home. So, I hit the internet. An allen wrench comes with the car to manually unlock the top. I used the allen wrench to unlock the top and manually lower it. I emailed the service advisor and told him the top was unlocked and lowered. He wanted to know how I did it. Later, he said he spoke with his “tech” and was told that if I was able to manually lower the top, then something was probably wrong with the hydraulic system. So, I had to read him a passage from page 541-3 of the service manual that stated when the car motor is turned off, the hydraulic pressure will be released after 10 seconds. I told him that I didn’t want anyone else to work on my car and guess what was wrong. He told me to bring it in again and he would have the service manager work on it. A couple of days later he called and asked me to come in so he could show me what was wrong. They had taken the trim piece off so they could get in and see what was wrong. They showed me the motor that was broken ($910) and said that when they latched and unlatched the top using the method I told them about, the latches would unlock the top, but they wouldn’t move far enough out to engage the sensors which would activate the buttons to raise or lower the top, so both latches (which had visible cracks in the plastic part of the latch) would have to be replaced at a cost of $1100 each. New total - $3110. I had a hard time believing that 3 separate pieces of equipment all failed simultaneously. I had asked them not to attach the trim piece so I could play around with it. I brought it home. I manually raised the top and used the allen wrench to lock it. When I pushed the button to lower the top, I heard a noise, put my hand on the motor and could feel it working, but it wasn’t unlatching the top. So, I manually used the allen wrench to unlock the top. If I can manually use the allen wrench to move the latches out to unlock the top, I should be able to continue using the allen wrench to move the latches out further to engage the sensors. I did that and the hydraulic system engaged the top lowered automatically. Latches didn’t seem to be broken, so maybe all I needed was the motor. Back to the internet. Apparently when BMW built these cars, they decided they could save money on this $910 motor by using a piece of plastic for the gear. This is such a common problem that you can buy replacement gears that are made of metal. So, I took out the latch motor and opened it up (easy to do watching youtube videos). The plastic gear was indeed broken. I ordered a new metal gear replacement from Amazon for $29.90. Replaced the gear in the motor and put everything back together. AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY! Granted, the latches are cracked. They may have been cracked for a month or for a number of years. I’m sure they will ultimately fail, but that may be months or years away. They are not broken yet. So, whomever decided to say that the latches were broken either was incompetent or lied.

Everything was amazing!! Went to the dealership to just price out a new X5 and ended up driving off the lot. Everyone was incredibly helpful. David, Andy, and Lillian were all great. They worked with me and made sure I had the best deal. I told them my budget and not only did they make it work, but they went above and beyond to make sure I had the best rates.I even joked about having to drive down from Seattle to Medford every time I need to get it serviced because of how great the service department is as well. I was so happy with Tim and Eric’s level of service they provided with getting new run-flat tires and the roof racks installed on my X5. Tim and Eric truly went above and beyond as well as David, Andy, and Lillian.

I come here to get oil changes on my old 330i great service friendly people they installed a few emblems that I bought from them for free I dont know about the quality of BMW as my car seems to be falling apart at 75,000 miles but as long as theres Medford BMW I guess theyll take care of me

Very unhappy with their service. First time I took my car for an alignment they didnt do the entire alignment due to what I assume is laziness and the 2nd time I took it they decide after I drop it off they dont want to do It. My car is very aftermarket and if they didnt want to do it then they should have told me versus causing me to scramble to find another place thats capable. If your car is stock then youre fine but anything aftermarket dont bother.

By far the best servicing experience my family has ever had. Took our Cooper in to get a belt replaced, and not only did they get the required job done in the correct time frame, they also took the liberty to fill up all of our fluids, and vacuum the interior. Will definitely be going back for another service, if necessary. Highly recommend.

Our beautiful golden anniversary 2003 Z3 M series spent 3 months at Medford BMW due to rodent damage after just a week outdoors. $8000 later, It finally was drivable enough to get it 70 miles home but top would not go down & xar would not start again. The antenna was missing. We had to register it as salvage. Months later we rewired it enough to get it running & manually lowered the top. Then found the boot in our trunk would not fit. It was not the boot that went into the shop with our car. Not impressed.a last straw.

The World Needs more Service people and Mechanics as the Ones Working at BMW-Medford!As a mortal consumer with an average bank account, you tend to purchase one of these amazing cars with a silent voice in the back of your mind, reminding you of the fact that you will one day have to take your beloved car to one of the BMW centers (in my case 1.5 hours away) for service... And everyone knows they charge an arm and a leg for EVERYTHING you come there for right? Well not this place.What Mike M. and his Head Mechanic were able to do for me when I pulled in there, (unable to even shut my car off because of a complicated Exhaust Fluid issue) was above and beyond their call of duty! I had been using a slightly wrong type of Exhaust fluid (most car guys I know didnt know there IS such a thing as a wrong type of DEF- and believe its all the same...). The result was a 200 mile limit after which the car will not start up again. (Heed my warning- use ONLY BMW-Exhaust Fluid if you own one of the Diesel models!) It was an easy problem to prevent, but out of ignorance, there I was, in quite a pickle! The solution was either to take the DEF tanks apart, drain, rinse, and refill with the right stuff.... A procedure involving a couple of hours (and couple of hundred dollars in work) OR fill up the tank with the correct fluid and drive it until the sensors eventually pick up the right information again and the warning would go away. The latter being a solution they could have easily advised against and I would have went with their advice. I was completely at their mercy, not knowing much about the inner workings of this complex (but utterly FUN-to-drive) machine....Not only did they help me figure out the most cost effective solution to my problem, but never once did they pressure me to go with the $600-solution. I couldnt believe my luck and actually drove off the lot without having spent a dollar- something I deemed simply impossible before! THANK YOU!I can honestly say I LOOK FORWARD to my next trip to BMW -Medford because I know I will be dealing with some of the best and most honest professionals BMW employs!

There are not enough superlatives to describe what a quality dealership Medford BMW is. The experience that my wife and I had purchasing a vehicle was outstanding. Vinnie is an amazing and highly knowledgeable sales professional. My son bought a car there that ended up having a really fluke issue that was no fault of BMW Medford, yet sales manager Rodney Schultz, service manager Mike Mccornak, and general manager Joe Tate made herculean efforts to not only meet my son’s expectations in a challenging situation, but far exceeded them. They went way above and beyond for him. My family has had a lot of experiences with car dealerships, but none have surpassed what we have enjoyed at Medford BMW. Our son lives in San Francisco, but will always make the drive to Medford to enjoy what Medford BMW offers to their clients during the sale, and after the sale.

I am that person who dreads shopping for a car. Ive never had a really positive experience and go through a lot of anxiety before and during the ordeal. Medford BMW has changed all of that! Joshua greeted my daughter and I, showed us the car we came to look at, as well as a similar one I saw when we were there. We were treated with respect and honestly the conversation was relaxed and friendly. Next, the negotiations where I thought things would go from friendly to anxious. NOT SO! Took my e38 in to get my amp coded because it was replaced with one from an e39 (same system, different number of speakers) told me it couldnt be done. They didnt even attempt to do it! Took it to Boyd Motor Werks in Portland, it was done in 10 minutes and for free! Unless you have a new bmw with problems I dont recommend going here. Any indy shop is better.

Took my 2015 Mini Cooper S in for an oil change and spoke to the service manager about my air conditioner not seeming to work properly. I had it up to Portland for its 10,000 mile service in November and told them, they found nothing. Medford BMW said that they would check it out. Stated that the air conditioner didnt seem cold, could not find a problem, but went ahead and gave it a boost of Freon(?) and it is way cooler than ever before. They went above and beyond! Great customer service and didnt even charge me. THANK YOU so much.

My wife and I were in the middle of a 500 mile road trip to go see family for Thanksgiving when our car suddenly decided it would be of more use as a large paperweight. Luckily we were able to find Medford BMW about an hour away. We called, and they very kindly found time to fit us in that same day even though it was the day before a holiday and they were clearly busy. Not only did they manage to get us in, they had the car up on a lift within about 30min of arriving at the dealer and had diagnosed the problem. However, because of the holiday it was going to take them the better part of a week to get the necessary parts and get them installed. Our service manager, Brandon, was absolutely awesome. He arranged for a loaner within about an hour so we could still make our holiday trip and then kept us in the loop over the next 5 days step by step as they got the repairs taken care of. He gave us a date and time to come back and pick up the car and true to his word we showed up, grabbed it and signed some paperwork and were back on the road headed home within about 10min.I truly cant recommend these guys enough, Brandon in particular. He saved our holiday, and we dont live in the area and have never been to this dealer before. Truly blown away, so much so that I may consider making the trip back down to buy my next car, and I live in Washington!

I had an excellent experience buying a used BMW from this dealership. My salesperson Bill Courtney went above and beyond to help make the buying experience easy and enjoyable. As an out of town buyer I had many questions about the car and the buying process, and Bill was very quick and thorough in answering all my questions. Not only did he pick me up at the airport and make sure the car was perfectly clean and detailed, he even gave me suggestion of things to do and places to see while I was in Medford. As usual, the service department was excellent. I was checked in right away and my service needs were discussed. I waited for the time that had been estimated for me and my car was washed and clean. I was completely satisfied and enjoyed the new building and accommodations, too! Mike McCornack is wonderful!! He is very courteous, efficient, friendly,helpful and goes out of his way.

Very friendly and courteous. After showing up for the factory recall appointment they didnt have the part in stock. They recognized that I had taken time out of my day for this and actually came to my place of business to pick up and deliver the car once the part was in. Thank You :-)

Friendly sales process. Nice staff, especially Joe. Car was supposed to be the thoroughly checked but only three stars due to problems with 2015 X1 - alarm system does not work fully, diagnostic trouble code not cleared left from previous service. Fortunately remedies to covered by warranty (different dealer to do the work). Sad because a lot of good work on the sales side was negated by sloppy back-office technical operations.

Awesome! New Years Eve morning sitting in the living room drinking coffee and my spouse said, Its time to get you a new car. I wasnt planning on it and hadnt even looked, but my Volvo has 165,000 miles, it was time. I called Lithia BMW and they had a used X5 that had just come in on trade. We made the 80 mile trip to look at the car and made a deal. The process was easy. I was told that the car needed to go through their shop for inspection and detail before I could take delivery. During the process an oil leak was found and repaired and issues with the cooling system were addressed. I got to pickup the car in a couple of days just in time to drive it back home via a mountain pass through a record setting snow storm. The X5 is the most amazing Snow car I have ever driven. One problem, the wiper blades were bad and finding replacement at an auto parts store didnt pan out. The parts and service department at Medford BMW had a set ready for me when I made a special trip, put them on and gave me a discount for the inconvenience of the special trip. I dont plan on this being my last BMW and as long as I have this one I will use the service department in Medford.

The only day that we had to come in was Sunday. Even though it was his day off Joshua came in to help us. He was so sweet to our Granddaughter that is 2 1/2. She was smitten! He made sure we were comfortable and even got me a better interest rate than I expected. I would definitely do business with Medford BMW again. They made the experience the best I have ever had.

Just bought a 2018 BMW X5 50i M Sport. These guys are wonderful to work with!! I got a great deal and Joe was very patient and willing to work with me in every aspect. Then Tim “The Genius” was extremely knowledgeable and went through every detail of the car during the delivery. I even went back for a second session with Tim to go over a few questions that popped up after I took the car home. I just bought a 2018 X5 50i M Sport. Not only did I get a great deal but the customer service was fantastic. Joe was my salesperson and he was very patient and easy to work with. I did the delivery with their BMW Genius, Tim, who knows everything about their cars. Even scheduled a follow up with Tim to answer some questions that came up after I did the initial delivery and he was happy to help. I highly recommend this dealership whether you are looking for a BMW or a nice used car. This dealership feels very warm and inviting when you visit and I find myself just wanting to hangout there.
