Justin said he was incompetent and yes, he was, I should have listened. Thats why 3*s because he at least told me. To be honest, he should not work here. It is not his calling and he doesnt like retail or listening to people. Verizon, should really go above board to get me what I need due the major folly

This VZ location has always put customer service as a priority! My most recent experience was probably the absolute best! I purchased a new phone for my grandson (his old phone was not backed up and took longer than anticipate, so we left the phone at the store to continue backing up and updating), we were running late and the store was closing. The store manager called me, and waited until 8:15 PM until I could get back to get the phone. I have used this location for all my phone purchases, and I will continue to come back because the customer service is second to none! Great job Wireless Zone of Mechanicsville!

My go to store!! in all of Richmond. Although I got my phone about a year ago the manager Lalin is always willing to help me when ever I need help with my phone that is what I call customer service.I have never seen a guy multi task like him, no matter how many customers he has in the store he always helps everybody at the same time hes like the energizer bunny.Although he does a great job I do hope that he gets some backup because when ever I go to the store hes always there and is always working by himself.
Had a very pleasant and helpful experience at this Verizon store. The tech on site, Lalin, helped me set up my mom’s new phone and transfer all of her data and photos. He was super patient and even carefully explained a bunch of stuff on FaceTime to my iPhone illiterate parents, who are high risk and couldn’t be there in person. He was kind and extremely helpful throughout! Thanks for making her phone upgrade seamless - she was very worried about losing any photos so being able to bring home a new phone to her that looked exactly the same with all her photos/apps etc as the old one was really great. Usually Verizon stores are sort of madhouses so it was nice to have a chill and helpful experience in this one. Also he did a flawless job of putting the phone screen protector on, which I can personally not do myself without bubbles. (P.s. - this was also refreshing to have someone professional, knowledgeable, and helpful after the week before where I had spent over an hour on chat and also over an hour on Verizon customer service phone # trying to resolve some issues - very frustrating, so I was glad to not have that experience with this in person visit)

Wow, Wireless Zone is 1000% times better than the numerous experiences I have had at the Verizon Stores. They are just as knowledgeable about Verizon accounts and products, there is no ridiculous push for sales, and they were always willing to look things up for me when I had questions. I will definitely be coming here from now on!

Even though I didnt agree with the Agent, He was an OUTSTANDING young man. It was May the 30th 2020 and was Shortly after 4pm.He listened to my Complaint, I did Not raise My voice ( Nor did He ) He was Foreign with a dialect but one you could EASILY understand and Went above and beyond make Verizon look good. I was having trouble with my phone and went to the corporate store next walmart on 360 all I wanted was to transfer my data from my old phone to the phone my wife used before she got her new phone. Was very rudely turned away.Came to this store and the store rep I think his name was Laleen was by himself helping another customer asked how he could help when I explained he quickly setup my phone and transferred all my data I was in and out in 15 min.Much better customer service and attitude than the reps at the other store.
We decided to switch back to Verizon so we went to the store on 301 by the Super Kroger in Mechanicsville. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a Verizon store. Zak helped us and he was awesome. I have 4 lines on my account, so my bill is expensive but Zak explained all our options so we could get the best deal without breaking the bank. Thank you Zak!!!!
I went in this store with a new apple watch problem, it would not connect to my Iphone. I did not purchase the watch or the phone from this location. Lalin was the gentlemen who graciously helped me. He was magnificent, spent the time to get it right. Ended up checking our Business Plan to see if we could save money and I also ended up purchasing a new phone for an employee. I cannot recommend this location high enough, as a business owner these are the kind of folks you hope to have representing you!

Walked in with my old Iphone 5C was greeted and welcomed immediately. My phone was giving me all sorts of trouble I could not even make a call.Lalin diagnosed the problem and while doing so also found out that I never had a Apple ID hence never had a backup. I had pictures with great emotional value and I would have lost all of those if my phone died.But Lalin took his time created an Apple ID backed everything up for me with great difficulty.He then fixed my phone so that I could get to my doctors appointment on time.I wish to commend him for his efforts to help him there was no pressure to buy a new phone but he did take his time to explain why I should be getting one and showed me all the new features of the XR.He should be taken as an example to train what customer service and customer satisfaction is especially with elderly people like my self. Will be going back after my doctors appointment to get new phone as he just won him self a customer for life.I will recommend this location any day to anybody especially Lalin.I hope his Management knows what a great asset he is.
I wish to commend Lalin of Wireless Zone Mechanicsville. He spent a great deal of his own time refurbishing my 11 year old laptop, so it would be usable on the internet! He even offered to come to my house to set it up! This is truly excellent service!! He continually refused to take anything for this extra excellent service.
Listen up Verizon leadership, you have a super star working at this store!! Lalin was incredibly helpful with diagnosing my phone and worked on it diligently trying to get it operational (turns out the logic board was bad). While working on my phone he assisted 2 other customers and balanced everyone’s needs and questions with ease and made all 3 of us feel as if we were getting his undivided attention. He should be considered for a training position to help all employees better understand customer service/satisfaction and how to stay calm under pressure while staying acutely focused on the task at hand and customers needs! He’s a rock star and deserves a raise and promotion!
I walked in right when the store opened to get a new iPhone. I was at the store for 4 hours because little did I know I had never backed up my phone so the process of backing it up took up the majority of my time here. Tooba was very patient and friendly while my phone backed up and restored to my new phone. Highly recommend this store and Tooba for all of your Verizon needs!

I had been very distraught with the recent Samsung Android update that happened this week. My S8 went completely haywire and after two trips to the Verizon on W. Broad and over 2 hours with customer service tech support, my issues could not be remedied.On Friday, I decided to try a different location and Zak answered the phone. I explained my issue and frustration and Zak assured me that he could help. He told me he would wait for me to get off work and to bring in the phone.As promised, Zak was there waiting for me and talked me off the ledge because I was considering an iPhone 😞....Patient and rendering great customer service, Zak attempted to trouble shoot the issues, but when all attempts failed again, walked me through purchasing andupdating a new phone. Thanks again Zak for your extreme customer service and cheerful attitude! I remain an Android customer thanks to him!

If you havent discovered this Verizon Wireless store, then youre going to be pleasantly surprised! Ive been a Verizon Wireless customer for many years and have visited multiple Verizon stores for phone purchases and troubleshooting, and I can honestly say that the Rutland Commons Verizon store is hands down the best.I have had the pleasure to watch both Moiz and Sohail in action since my first visit to their store on August 19, 2016. I purchased a Galaxy Note 7 that day. From that day on, despite all of the troubles with that particular Samsung phone, both Sohail and Moiz have been amazing. They have not only helped me with the Note 7 recall, but they have demonstrated that they are consummate professionals in the way they help every customer who enters their store.Both young men are patient, kind, and tech savvy. During my wait time required for the phone switch, I watched them happily assist other customers with everything from backing up photos to the Cloud to logging into a locked Facebook account, which Im sure is not part of their job description!In this day of poor customer service in many businesses, this Verizon Wireless store is the exception. Even if you dont live in Mechanicsville, you are going to want to drive to this Rutland Commons store to get the best customer service youve ever had.
Took my daughters perfectly working iphone in to have a cracked screen replaced. Got the phone home and it started glitching. I called the store had to leave a message. Did not get a return call. Few days later the phone would not turn on. Took the phone back to the store only for the manager to tell me that I had to pay $50 more to have the phone repaired. That the digitizer was broken and that we did it by possibly sitting on it or dropping it. And there was nothing more they could do. And repairing the screen costed me $80 and the only warranty i have is on the labor. I call Verizon technical support and he stated that the digitizer more than likely was damaged during installation, and not likely that we damaged it by sitting on it or dropping it. The manager of the store stated that the technician did not know what he was talking about because he does not work on phones. The verizon technician assisted me with reaching out to the Regional Franchise Manager. I am currently awaiting a call back from the Regional Franchise Manager and my 12 year old daughter is still without a phone. I will never return to this store and highly recommend that you pass by this store.
