I chose 3 day UPS shipping for some parts. when the cheaper shipping option would’ve gotten in to me just as quickly. They changed the shipping and refunded me the extra cost. Friendly person over the phone, thank you zip-corvette.
Zip corvette is the best place to find corvette parts. The website is easy to use. Nate was excellent in following up with an out of stock part I had ordered.
I purchased a shifter boot for my 93 corvette, it took forever to arrive. When it finally arrived it was the right color but craftsmanship sucked, it looks like it was put together in a hurry, I called Zip to try to resolve this problem and nothing . I am not one to argue so I hung up . I made it work but I’m not happy with the look. Buy at your own risk.

I ordered Corsa exhaust from Zip back in January. They told me delivery would be in April. Then May. Now its June and I still cant get a straight answer from them. I understand the supply chain problems, but come on people, if you cant fill the order in 6 months then you shouldnt have taken my money in the first place.
My father, who is hard of hearing and not internet saavy sent his computer in to be rebuilt. They have done nothing but give him the run around with the story changing every time. He is now unsure if he will even get his core back since they took 2 months to deem it non repairable. I am walking him through the credit card charge back process but I truly feel like he is being taken advantage of because he is older. I would stay clear of this business and definitely dont send them any parts to be refurbished if you want them back.

After RockAuto sent me the wrong brake calipers for my 1996 z51 days before I had to move I was in a major bind & stressed out worrying that my car would be left at home I no longer lived at and could possibly be vandalized or stolen. Time was ticking and I had to have a correct front driver side caliper immediately so I ordered it overnighted and zips came through. This caliper is correct I didnt have to fight with them and explain to them the difference in models of Corvettes. I will be a returning customer in the future for sure. I have looked at a lot of Corvette specific parts dealers on the internet and the prices at zips are as good as anyone and I look forward to purchasing all my Corvette accessories and parts from them in the future and as a matter of fact already have a list made up once Im settled in the new home.
Ordered a rear differential. Was told 2 weeks. It wound up being 6 weeks before it shipped. Sent my old diff back and another 6 weeks to get my core charge returned. Then with no phone call, email or any reason why, they kept $150 of my core charge. I could call, but they could too. Checking with PayPal to see if I have recourse through them.
After the thoughtful response from Zip to my complaint about long waits for parts delivery, Id like to retract my negative review. Zip is okay with me, thanks.

Ordered weather-strips for 82 vette for another co were unusable//ordered from zips worked just like factory ones will only use zips from now on. fast friendly service and good quality part . unlike the ones from that e company
So I purchase parts on line from zip and UPS delivered them to the wrong address. When I call zip they say too bad, they have a signature that says it was delivered to the correct address and that I should file a claim with UPS. Sorry, Not my problem. Bad attitude, poor customer service. I had to put in a claim with the credit card company to get my money back. Beware.
I took the trailing arm from my 66 Corvette there to be rebuilt. They did a great job and was completed when promised.

I have a somewhat neglected 1977 Corvette which Ive finally started focusing on getting back into shape. As I work through its issues, I keep needing to order additional parts here and there. Ive used a few vendors in the last couple of months, including Zip. My Zip orders have gotten here lightning fast with reasonable shipping costs which I really appreciate. Zip has helped me keep my project moving and that hasnt been the case with some other vendors Ive tried (almost 3 weeks for one item listed as in stock). For my latest order, I ordered parts from Zip on Monday and they are out for delivery 2 days later (Wednesday). Thanks Zip!
JT at Zip came through with price adjustment for this purchase. Rating has been revised accordingly .Carb rebuild kit was missing key components. Two calls, two promises and no results. May not be Zips fault but rather, the kit mfr., K& B. This was the 1st time I used Zip.

The customer service here is awesome. I come here for Adam’s Polishes detailing supplies when I need it ASAP instead of waiting a week to order it and receive it directly from Adam’s.My only complaint is that they rarely stock any new items that Adam’s releases and their selection of products are slim, compared to everything else Adam’s Polishes offers.Overall, I’ve never had a bad experience coming here. Not great, had help with order and ended up getting the wrong color paint. Shipping was literally more than half the price of spray can..ended up $36 dollar spray paint thats not any good. They were very friendly on the phone, but I should of just went to through Amazon...easier returns and cheaper shipping
Around October 2017 I purchased a C2 Corvette and since that time I have been working hard on what I refer to as a garage restoration. Many trips have been made by me and many orders have been placed to Zip during that time by me. Without their expert knowledge and excellent response to my needs the job would have been far more difficult. The staff is always very polite and easy to work with. Online, over the phone, or in person, Zip has Corvette knowledgeable and friendly people, and a large selection of Corvette parts and accessories to choose from. I have a C2 and a C6, they offer products for all Corvette generations. Ive been to Zip at least once a year for a decade or more. Outside of Richmond, my Corvette club uses Zip as a stop on a Corvette Cruise. Everyone seems to walk out with a new tshirt. I give Zip Corvette 5 stars.
Customer service is SLOW and less than helpful, I think there’s a reading comprehension problem because the emails back make no sense.
Once a year, Zips will host one of our Mid-Atlantic Chapter Corvette events. The manager Dave is a super host, not only providing facilities and equipment, but also refreshments and delicious lunches (this year a pulled pork BBQ). From what Ive seen in the showroom area, his and his knowledgeable staffs hospitality extends to his regular customers. I definitely recommend Zips as a place for finding Corvette equipment and parts.

After hearing a lot of hype about this place, I was totally disappointed with the service and parts provided for a 1968 Stingray. The young man at the counter took forever to look up the parts on the computer only to finally pickup a Zip catalog in order to locate the parts I requested. In the end, he brought out parts that didnt match my car. When I questioned this, he stated that these are the only parts they have and for me to just work it out somehow. Seeing that the parts he had did not have the OEM light receptacle, he suggested I either dont use the light or find some way to mount it through the dashboard. Lastly, the parts were more expensive than what was available online at other Corvette stores. I will never travel over an hour again for this type of half-baked operation. My Vette is more important to me than throwing good money after jacked-up after market Chinese parts. My advise - dont waste your time at Zips. There is a better selection on Ebay at half the price.
Wow, what a bunch of jerks. I called in because their website wasnt working with PayPal and the dolt that answered basically told me he had no idea how to fix the problem. I said I guess Ill just have to order from someone else if your website doesnt work and he said I guess guess so. They dont care about a $2700 order. Not the first time these idiots have reacted this way. Im taking my business to the other vendors who care about their customers.Edit: After talking to their VP, he made things right. Ordered several thousand dollars worth since and things have worked well for the most part. I have a bunch of back ordered parts that it seems they cant track, but its hard to complain about that since they have so much for my 68. Changing my rating to 4 stars. All the pieces I have ordered have fit well.

One of the worst companies to do business with! Our small family owned custom automotive shop ordered and paid for specialty seat belts from them the beginning of December 2018 and we finally received a package from them with the incorrect seat belts about a month down the road. We spoke with them about getting the seat belts shipped to us ASAP. They promised theyd have them here by Friday at the latest. Nope, here it is Monday of the next week and WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED SO MUCH AS A TRACKING NUMBER from these people let alone the actual package. We will refrain from using Zip in the future.
ZIP Corvette has been a sponsor and supporter of our Corvette Club the Beachcombers Corvette Club of Virginia Beach. Over the years they have supported our events with merchandise used for awards and raffles at our shows. We make an annual pilgrimage to Zip to stock up on parts and pieces for our corvettes,they match prices and give our club members a discount on prices.
I don’t typically write reviews but after using Google to find the phone number I feel compelled to do so. I was shocked at the negative reviews that were posted. I have used ZIP for years, purchased too much from them, had significant work done by them and received a lot of free advice/guidance. I have never experienced any issues what so ever and would not hesitate to recommend them. Sure, things happen and nobody is perfect but so far for me they have been. If you are in need of anything for your Vette please do not let the negative reviews prevent you from giving them a chance, I’m sure you will be pleased.
Was told twice that I would receive a call back about parts I need. I guess they are not interested. Poor customer service.I would like to update review. Finally received parts I needed. Would like thank Daniel, and Justin for all there help. I still think some work could be done on returning phone calls.

Sent three separate emails and I have two current orders. No responses to any emails and despite one order being lodged in time for same day dispatch, I have received no acknowledgement even though Ive been charged for both orders. Yes one order has a back ordered part, but the same day order everything was listed as in stock. Poor.

They had everything I needed, but their check out process has a lot to be desired. I set up an account (or so I thought), placed my order. when I received my order number it told me I checked out as a guest....So I went back in and set up the account again (or so I thought)...I am still a guest. need to have IT check this process out...very frustrating
I’ve shopped at Zip for years and bought parts and accessories for my current C7 and C3 and my previous C6. Staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I find prices are fair and very competitive.
Have asked me to pay for a backordered item that they have shipped to the incorrect address. Am happy to pay but cannot get them to respond to email or online message regarding delivery to the correct address... Emailed and messaged repeatedly with no response. Very frustrating. Will have to make the Toll Call from New Zealand I guess...

Been doing business with them for 40 years....now they decide my private mail box at the UPS store is a post office box and refuse to ship to it. Too stupid for belief, and no amount of messages or anything but calling works. Even when you check out with Paypal, you have to change the address or ZIPs idiot system wont accept it. Computers. Website worked very poorly with my iPhone and pay pal account. Spent an hour to place an order . Succceded on my iPad on the fifth attempt but did not use my paypal account or log in for fear either would queer the order. I’ve got a believe I’m not the only one to suffer this. Hope i am for everyone’s sake
Ordered a headlight motor and it arrived damaged due to improper packaging. Called them and they were nice enough to send another one. The second one arrived broken in the exact same spot as the first one. Took them three months and at least 15 phone calls to refund my money. Completely incompetent. Save yourself the trouble and buy from Corvette Central or Ecklers.

DO NOT GO TO zip Corvette!!!!!!!!!!!! Quoted me $300 parts and labor, came to $600 just to install lowering bolts. Ive put my car back to factory height and its still making noises All The Time! Their response was well thats what its going to do if you lower it, the only way to fix that is with shorter shocks Are you kidding me?!?! None of this was communicated to me prior to the install. Took me over a month to even be seen by them, never returned calls or emails. I actually stayed on hold for 45 minutes just to see how long it would take for them to get on the line I was holding on. Zip corvette in Mechanicsville Va cant go out of business soon enough in my opinion. And best believe Everone with a corvette locally is going to hear my story, simply because that didnt care At All for me as a customer in Any way shape or form.
Nice guys but terrible products. Let me start by saying that i had a C6 lambskin jacket purchased for me for Christmas two years ago. I wore it approximately 1.5 months before i noticed the black leather dye was fading and you could see pink spots underneath. I was going to call in early to mid feb of last year but then we had a family tragedy, so i never got around to it. That is in no way Zips fault, however, i am stuck with a $300 jacket that was a gift and i cannot wear it because the black leather has faded off and its pink.Also last year i bought some Cup wheels for the C6, these were not the factory wheels but re-production wheels for the base C6. The wheels looked great but when installed on the car, there was a very noticeable shimmy or vibration in the car at highway speeds. I took car to dealership, Discount TIre, and a local Tire Shop which has a really good rep. All of them balanced the car and checked the alignment but could not fix the vibration. It wasnt until i took it to the Tire shop that one of the guys told me the offset was off by a tiny amount, he said that i might need spacers, but he couldnt install them for insurance and safety reasons.Once again, i had too much time passed and wear on the product so i could not return it to Zip. Honestly i wouldnt buy anymore products like this again from someplace that isnt local in case i needed to return it or have it looked at by the person(s) i purchased it from.
I was unable to edit my order as I went along. I only wanted 1 item and it showed 4. I had to delete all items and start over but all I wanted to do was change the numbet of items I ordered but I couldn’t

Prices and parts are really not bad, the only reason why I come back to this company. Unfortunately the negatives outweight the positives and thats why I decided to give 2 stars. Last time I had terrible customer service. I dont personally know, but it seems like there is a lack of internal communication within the company and their computer system is whacky. Somehow the customer service couldnt see my whole order on their computer and didnt know they had already sent out 1/2 of my order. In general, there is very poor communication/infortmation on back ordered parts and I dont like the fact that they take all your money even on back ordered parts. Most companies bill you as parts are sent out, not when the order is placed. Also most companies personally contact you on back ordered parts and double check if you want to go ahead with the order. Was also difficult for me to find out how long I will have to wait for these parts. I think they shouldnt put backordered parts usually are shipped out 7-10 business days when Ive been waiting for over 2 months and I know Im not the first one to wait more than 2 weeks. So-so communication/updates with customers and so-so customer service.

Wow..what can I say..the worst experience Ive had getting corvette parts. I ordered 2 trailing arms for a c3. They told me 7-10 days. A month later I called. They said that they lost my information and need it again. ..wth? Now ihave replaced and returned the cores. Its been a week and they dont know if they have them and need to look at them before I get my core charge back........ so...dont buy anything here unless you want to deal with incompetence and excuses.
