Didnt realize at first that there was a restaurant inside this food market. The menu is limited, but all the dishes are freshly made and delicious. All drinks are purchased from the market and paid for separately. Service was sketchy due to language barrier issues, but it worked out. The food was okay.

Concerned about your waitresses, today 08.21.2021 around 12 pm one of them dropped by mistake 1 Styrofoam glass on the floor....another one next to her picked it up and place it again where the flavored water jars are....I stood up right away and grabbed it and tossed it in the trash. Please educate the personal about hygiene. Thank you

LOVE La Lupita. I had never had it before, let alone knew it was a restaurant, until my husband introduced me. Tasty food you wont find in a traditional Mexican restaurant. The experience makes it that much better. 10/10 would recommend the tacos and the huaraches.

Great food. Service, not so much.Pros: Fantastic food, great grocery store. Authentic as you can find.Cons: Service is awful. We came in after playing bocci ball in the sun for about 2 hrs and I was dying for a great big ice water. Literally after 20 minutes and asking FOUR times I finally got it. And I asked in Spanish. Many dont speak English. Then we had to stand in line for a put 15 minutes to pay. Lacked parking.If you are willing to put up with poor service, the food is authentic and delicious. Ill return when I have PLENTY of time.

The store is stocked very well with a variety of Latin products, it has a fresh produce section as well as a fresh meats section and restaurant with delicious authentic Mexican food.

All of La Lupitas stores are super clean and incredibly stocked. Lets not forget though that their food is phenomenal. Bar none the absolute best in the Knoxville area and they have 3 locations. Its worth the drive to get here. Hurraches are the star. The lengua is amazing and best I have had out of the Southwest and Mexico. Its right on.

Having lived in California for 25 years before returning to Tennessee, I was concerned about having a good source of true Mexican ingredients. Then I discovered La Lupita, a super clean Mexican market with complete butcher shop. Lots of good groceries that cant be found in grocery stores, especially spices and produce. Tasty food is prepared in the kitchen and there is a sit-down cafe. Try the sopes. The staff are very friendly and English is spoken. A clerk there gave me advice on selecting spices for a dish I was preparing. The owners also operate a store in Lenoir City.

Neat little store. Stopped in to get some tomato bouillon that I havent been able to find anywhere else. They had a small deli that smelled great that I would like to try. Nice people.

Some of the best Mexican food in the area. We always get the mix of fajitas with chicken, beef, and shrimp. Always need more tortillas,you get so much. Hot sauces are readily available. Food comes out quickly and is hot.

Food was great and very authentic

The first time was really good but the second time my order was wrong. It was wrong the first but I was at work and couldnt go to pick upThey made it right but nothing extra to replace the mistake. I drove 15 minutes to pick up the whole order. Food was average at best unlike the first time.

I love this place. Real authentic Mexican food. Its a small convenient store with a restaurant inside. Always very clean and friendly. But, it is a convenient store. Very popular for all the local Mexicans. Most speak choppy English. Nice menu and I eat there regularly and I am a local Caucasian.

I know you see a pattern with my reviewsI love Mexican grocery stores, and the restaurants tied to them, and this one is just as good as the rest. Very busy ea time Im there, so expect a little bit of a wait, but the food is great.

Wonderful Tortas. Everything is fresh. They are very welcoming. It helps if you can read spanish, but every is welcome here.

Always clean and very good. The only drawback is that sometimes they reheat the rice and thats okay with me but I dont like the fact that is reheated in styrofoam.
