As much as I love supporting our local HyVee and typically have a great experience this was not the case with a speciality ordered birthday cake. I ordered the cake on a a Sunday for pick up the following Friday. I called ahead to make sure the cake was ready. It wasn’t even made because they lost the order. So over the phone they took the order again. I went to pick it up the following day. My son’s name was spelled wrong, the writing was in the wrong spot, and the icing color scheme was also wrong. They did attempt to fix the spelling on the the name which was appreciated but I still would not recommend ordering a cake from them.

I got the sesame chicken from the hot bar in Maryville and it was so good so I went back the next day to try the orange chicken out and all the chicken was made with breaded chicken nuggets covered in different sauces 😵 Confused !🚨 EDIT 🚨 I have not seen frozen chicken nuggets used since and I have tried it and its amazing and taste authentic.Thanks HYVEE for fixing the problem ! 🍜

The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was impressed seeing the store director outside getting carts!

They were very helpful as I was looking for for the buttered sweet corn Pringles. They took me to them and I bought 15 cans.

Oh my, I was inside at the bank (1st National) and an irate employee was screaming at the teller calling her a f-ing beoch. The assistant manager immindently told him to leave the store, which he didnt rite away. So the manager called for the store manager and he walked myself & another lady out to our cars. Disgruntled employee William Yates!

Waited for one hour to get our breakfast. 30 minutes of waiting had to asked if they had lost our order. We decided to leave and the manager could not even talk to us. Wont be eating there any more. Went to grays and was served and finished breakfast in 30 minutes.

Hyvee has an awesome selection of brands in every department. I love stopping here, getting my groceries, and then making a stop at the in store Starbucks on my way out.

Was so excited to see Scotcharoo bars. The deli and bakery departments were closing and cleaning up, but still helpful and friendly. The cheese section was so large, I had to take a picture. They had a nice eating area and hot bar selections. The entire store was very clean and looked to be well stocked.

10 STARS for my online shopper! I literally had 102 different flavored protein/granola bars and different drinks. I ordered @ 10am and picked up @3pm on a busy Friday. Im honestly in shock. Whoever did my personal shopping NAILED IT, and I had zero substitutions allowed. That was seriously a hard order. I cannot believe someone was able to pick out every individual flavor a hundred times. I never do reviews but I had to just now. Holy cow. Whoever you are- Im sorry for my rediculous order, and great job!

Filled up with gas & if I paid inside with coupon received an additional 10 cents a gallon off! Air pump is so handy this time of year when the cold weather lowers your tire pressure. Thank you Hy-Vee!

Hyvee, is always my favorite grocery/Starbucks shopping store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Pharmacy is wonderful! If they dont have something in store, they are happy to order it for you whenever possible! Today . Bearcats are selling their packaged seafood and chicken strips outside tent. I like the crabcakes...about 15_18# per package for $20 or tuna steaks 4 for $10....YUMMIEST

Waited 25 minutes for my aisles on line order, after calling that I had arrived. Only brought one other order out during that time.When they came out threw my groceries in trunk, smashed my bread. Cracker box was dented, vegetables and produce were not in individual vegetable sacks. So they were rolling all around. Not high quality choices of produce either. So disappointing. I miss the service and quality of HyVee in the past.

An online flower delivery place was a day late for sending the order to the florist here for my anniversary gift to the wife. She made sure to go all out to make up for it and re-assured my wife on the phone they were supposed to be completed the day before so i didnt end up in the dog house haha. She loves them and they look amazing!

Maryville hyvee is an excellent place to go. Prices on groceries and other things are comfortable with Walmart. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. When the checkout lines get too long I’ve seen managers jump on registers to help with crowds. When it comes to fast friendly customer service and a great atmosphere for your shopping needs, Hy-Vee is the place to be.

If you can’t find it Walmart, try at HyVee!

Some things are a little higher price than Walmart but for the most part they have the best selection. Butcher shop always has Great cuts of meat

They are always helpful and happy to see you. The store is always clean and orderly. My favorite place to shop for all our diet needs.

Great Chinese food and friendly staff.

Best wine and spirits in town, great employees, fast friendly service, and their store is always clean. They also have a public service reserved spot close to front for Veterans Firefighters Police and EMT. Oh and to top it off theyre open late.

Provides free air with tire gage, friendly service, great prices, and a place to get a quick bite to eat and drink.

My experience here is rather hit and miss. Once, I went and a stocker went out of their way to help me track down an unusual item. The shelves are often well stocked. However, I have had several negative interactions with the checkers of the really dont want to be there variety. Maybe they dont treat their checkers well? Not sure, but its enough to make me wish there was another grocery in town.

Always a great place to shop. The store is kept clean and staff is always friendly. They tend to stay on top of the register lines so most of the time they are shorter. Usually some good prices can be found if you pick and choose.

Prices are kind of high but the steak sales are amazing.

I think it is a great place to shop, they have a good variety of fruits, vegetables, protein sources (meat, fish...), and many other things. The cafeteria was really good, because they have good deals for customers and especially college students. Highly recommended

My car broke down today in the parking lot. The management was so nice letting me leave my car there until a tow truck could get there and even helped me push it back into a stall. Probably the nicest ran Hy-Vee I’ve been to!!

Great produce selection and they are incredibly well priced. Even their bargain brand is high quality. They offer gas rewards and more discounts than I have ever seen in a store. As a bonus, make sure you have your student ID because they give a student discount on all groceries. Not just certain items!!! Really, this place is awesome

What an amazing grocery store. They had everything and even more than anyone could expect. The prepared meal options were amazing and we had some delicious dishes for lunch. The store is very clean and everyone seemed like they loved working there. That alone made it worth the visit. I wish they had more of these throughout the states. This would be my go to store always!

Good, clean, grocery store! Produce is maintained and seems fresh. Specialty areas are organized and presentable to their respective themes. I can usually find what I need, and when I cant, the store managers are usually able to order it for me if I request it. There have been only a few times of late, that I have requested an item and have not received a call back. That is my only quip.

Always clean thats what I notice whenever I go there. The checkers have a smile. The breakfast buffet is a good value and pretty good.

It was okay. For some reason they always forget to bag one or more of my items, and itsleft behind. So I have to drive back to store and get it.

Hy-Vee always has great deals and the employees are always friendly. The check out Lines always seem to move at a fast pace, Ive never had to stand in line for very long there, and I appreciate that. I love the fuel saver card, buy groceries, and save money on gas, who doesnt like to save money.

Only place in town to find a decent selection of beer, wine, and spirits. The new beer cooler is awesome. Prices on grocery could be better.. as could grocery selection. Booze is their selling point, and they do it well.

Went into to get a Chiefs shirt. They had several styles but the xtra large sizes were hard to come. But had just enough to do us. Thank you Hy Vee and go Kansas City Chiefs!

This is an excellent HyVee, everyone is friendly and helpful. If you need help finding anything or to see if they have more in the back if something is out you can always easily find an associate. The meat counter is knowledgeable, fast and friendly. The store is always very clean and organized. The restaurant, pharmacy and gas station are also very nice and everyone is helpful.

I was just in the liquor department, clerk was very friendly. I also found the wines I was looking for!!

This is the best Hy-Vee Ive ever been to in three states!!! The meat case was immaculate! I was in awe. The bakery has amazing items to choose from. And the staff was super friendly and helpful. I wish I didnt live 2 hours away from it...

Its the biggest and best in the area. Nice, helpful people work there. It is a chain though, and each one seems to be different in size, what it sell, etc.

Maryville Hy-Vee is one of the best in our area.

Ill start off by saying the cake decorator did a more than outstanding job on my sons birthday cake!! That will be my go to place from now on. Next, Id like to say how pleased I am with how quickly a manager fixed a mistake made by another location and saved my little girls Christmas!

Amazing customer service. Great place to get your groceries or a bite to eat lunch at. They always do sales and good deals- especially for college students with their Bearcat discounts. Plus they have their new fried donuts, which are so amazing.
