This store is the perfect size for great selection of special dietary needs without having an overwhelming amount of options. It’s well organized and easy to find what you’re looking for. The staff is very helpful & friendly. Prices seem very reasonable.

I used to hate coming here because it was so outdated with a terrible selection but the remodel has improved it tremendously!! Ill definitely be shopping here more often now!

I worked here doing construction for the remodel of this place and there are some very nice people who work here. All around a great place and team . There selection is wonderful there prices ehh needs some work but all and all a wonderful place to shop. Just dont plan on budget friendly prices.

This grocery store is just the right size. Not too big and not too small. Found everything I was looking for.

With the remodeling going on its very nice. And the prices have improved. Use my savings card and it pays off nicely. Love their meat selection.

Good prices compared to other stores in the area. The deli and hot bar has a nice selection of deli meats, cheese, and hot food.

We were out of state without a Food Lion. The cashier volunteered her card which aves us $40. I really appreciate that! Selection and quality were excellent as well.

I went in and easily found what I was looking for. The prices are a little higher than other places & its location is not convenient.

Man, I had a great experience at this location. Tank helped me check out quick and easy and was the most polite dude I’ve met in a long time. He even offered me a coupon for baby food because he saw me buying diapers. Keep him around and recognize him as an asset to this location. I will be back.

This place has improved lately. The fresh produce and a nice fresh deli that does have a good selection really makes this place worth shopping at.

I like this location, not too overly busy but a good amount of regularly stocked items that I can count on being there. With the way things are these days, Id pay extra for consistency, but the prices are usually good too. Win, win.

Prices werent bad. The store was clean except for the bathroom at that time of night. I couldnt seem to get out of the floor cleaners way. Cashier was friendly and helpful

I was visiting family in the area. It was my first time in a Food Lion store. The store was in good shape and was very clean. Not crazy busy and a bunch of workers to cash you out. The food selection was good, they had all the brands. I stopped by a few times during the week.

Certain things I get are on sale or always cheaper there. I like that I can get deli meat and cheese after the deli is closed (they slice them up and put them by the deli). They have my gluten free bread in a freezer by the deli, too. Its clean and the workers are nice, helpful, and dont follow you around like youre a thief because you dont have a cart, unlike some other places. Its near my home and in a shopping center, making it very convenient.

I love this Food Lion! Excellent selection of items even found Red Curry Paste. Great prices. Love their Natural brand no antibiotics etc chicken and beef selection.

This store is clean and well organized. Their prices are as good or better than other pure grocery stores. Their produce section is well stocked with fresh product and their customer service is excellent. They also keep enough cashiers so there is not normally a wait.

Its a nice smaller grocery store. Best price on egg whites, Better than even walmart!Good enough selection but I mainly like it cause they do have what I need and its right around the corner from where I live,It just lacks some of the things I want like lower sugar banana creme greek yogurt or this iced mocha with only 17gs sugar per cup vs the 29 in the standard.

An easy place to stop and purchase almost anything. There usually is not a wait during check outs, the produce is fresh, Food Lion is easy to spot while driving on the street, and the store is as clean as you can expect from a grocery store. The service they give customers ia splendid, too. I will definitely be returning here many, many times in the future.

Closest full service supermarket to townsend where i spend 9 months of the year. good sized store with bakery, deli, meat and produce. i drive past the icky iga market in townsend to go 14 miles to the food lion....its worth it for sure.

Wonderful food center. Friendly, jovial employees. Its like a giant family. Great prices, well organized and very clean.

No green bell peppers? Cherries were advertised in the sale paper, but the produce man told me they hadnt had any for a week and a half! Not surprisingly, store seems almost always empty. We only stop as a last resort. Why shop there, if you cant even count on finding things for a recipe?

I wouldnt go back in this place if they were giving away free groceries. There is a woman that works the register that is mean and rude. I dont recall her name, but she is an older woman, and her other place of employment is a supervisor in hell.

Lee in the produce section on Saturday was so awesome. Im eating different vegetables and he was so helpful in educating me on how to identify fresh vegetables and ripe fruits. I didnt know what to look for in bokchoy and he was great.

Why wouldnt my food lion card work??

First, the customer service is always excellent. In other areas, it has a large selection on the packaged foods, but the prices are higher than Kroger and Food City. They do have a few brands that i dont see at other stores. I feel their fruit and vegetable section isnt big enough, so having a bigger section would be great.
